Rain again ! but it should be a little less this weekend, Rochelle Edwards got the rundown in our weather forecast.

00:00Thanks, Deesha. Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago. I'm Rochelle Edwards with all you need to know in your weather.
00:06We're starting off with what happened today. According to Trinidad and Tobago Weather Center,
00:10periods of rain, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms continued predominantly affecting the southern and eastern halves of Trinidad,
00:19with pockets of intense rainfall being observed.
00:22Later on, moderate to heavy rainfall moved across eastern and central Trinidad,
00:26with additional activity developing along western coastal Trinidad and offshore southeastern Trinidad.
00:33Flooding has also been recorded across parts of Mayaro and Plamerton.
00:38Now for conditions in Port of Spain presently, TV6's Weather Center says,
00:42downtown is partly cloudy with temperatures at 27 degrees Celsius.
00:46We also have winds coming north at 1 knot. Humidity is at 86% in the atmosphere.
00:52Let's see what's happening tonight.
00:54Tonight, generally settled conditions with a chance for isolated moderate showers in some areas.
01:00Trinidad has a minimum temperature of 24 degrees Celsius and Tobago will experience 25 degrees.
01:05Tomorrow, the rain will continue.
01:07According to the Met Office, overnight showers into the pre-dawn and early morning
01:11will favor Tobago, eastern, southeastern, southern coastal and near offshore areas of Trinidad.
01:17By late morning, there is a medium to high chance for thunderstorm activity over central to southern Trinidad.
01:24Northern and western areas don't think you're getting away.
01:27There is a medium chance for an isolated heavy shower or thunderstorm during the afternoon.
01:32And remember, strong gusty downjouse and street flooding is likely near heavy showers or thunderstorms.
01:38Tomorrow's maximum temperatures are 30 degrees in Trinidad and 31 in Tobago.
01:43Now, I know everyone has their weekend plans, so let's get right to it.
01:47Saturday and Sunday are both going to be partly cloudy, eventually becoming cloudy at times,
01:52with a few light and moderate showers over varying areas.
01:55There is a medium chance for heavy showers or isolated thunderstorms by late morning or afternoon.
02:02Maximum temperatures are 30 degrees in Trinidad and Tobago on Saturday.
02:05And on Sunday, both islands will have a maximum temperature of 31 degrees.
02:10Checking in on our seas, tomorrow's seas are moderate with waves up to 2 meters in open waters
02:15and near 1 meter occasionally choppy in sheltered areas.
02:20For those of you with boating activities planned for tomorrow, here are your tight times.
