Let the rain begin, expect some early morning showers on Tuesday, Rochelle Edwards tells you more.

00:00Thank you, Disha. Trinidad and Tobago, good evening. I'm Rochelle Edwards. It's that time again. Here's your rundown on your weather.
00:08So we had some rain in some areas yesterday and earlier today. Here's what happened. Multiple thunderstorms and scattered showers approached eastern Trinidad, associated with tropical wave 20.
00:21Locally, heavy rainfall rates were detected, with heavier rainfall across eastern areas of Trinidad. Wind gusts of 60 kilometers per hour were detected.
00:32Moving on to conditions in Portisville presently, TV6's Weather Center says downtown is mostly clear with temperatures at 31 degrees Celsius.
00:41We also have winds coming east-southeast at 11 knots and there is 71% humidity in the atmosphere.
00:49Now, tonight, tonight will be generally fair despite the isolated shower. There's a low chance of thunderstorm activity and in Trinidad, we have minimum temperatures at 24 degrees Celsius.
01:02And looking at Tobago, we have minimum temperatures at 25 degrees.
01:06So, according to the Met Office, we will start off tomorrow with partly cloudy to cloudy periods with some early morning showers.
01:13Now, there is a medium chance of some isolated, heavier shower or thunderstorms developing.
01:19So, conditions should settle by mid-afternoon to give a fair but slightly hazy night.
01:25Now, maximum temperatures are forecasted to be 32 degrees in Trinidad and 31 in Tobago.
01:32So, if you're leaving home early for work, walk with those umbrellas.
01:36Don't be like me yesterday and I forgot my umbrellas at home.
01:40I had a few people tell me.
01:41So, the weather lady didn't walk with her umbrella.
01:44That's a whole other thing.
01:45Moving on to our two-day forecast with maximum temperatures coming in at 33 degrees Celsius and 32 over in Tobago.
01:54Wednesday is looking bright and sunny but we are going to have some showers to cool us down here and there.
02:00Now, there is a low chance of thunderstorms favoring western Trinidad.
02:05Now, if we look at Thursdays, Thursday temperatures are 32 degrees in Trinidad and 31 in Tobago.
02:12And it will be mostly fair bay despite a few light showers with a low to medium chance of it becoming heavy or thundery.
02:20Now, moving on to our seas.
02:23If you're on vacation or taking a day off tomorrow to get some relaxation time at the beach, lucky you.
02:29I have the 411 on your seas.
02:32Seas are moderate with waves from 1.5 meters to 2 meters in open waters and below 1 meter, occasionally choppy in sheltered areas.
02:41And then, you might want to know when to wrap it up at the beach before it gets too dark.

02:47Sunrise is at 5.54 in Trinidad and it will set at 6.30.
02:52And over in Tobago, sunrise is at 5.50 and it will set at 6.28.
