02:01In international news now, typhoon Fang Wang blew out of the northwestern Philippines on Monday
02:19after setting off floods and landslides, knocking out power in Thai provinces, killing at least eight
02:26people and displacing more than 1.4 million others. The typhoon was forecast to head northwest towards
02:34Taiwan. Fang Wang lashed in northern Philippines while the country was still dealing with the
02:39devastation last week by typhoon Kalamagi, which left at least 224 people dead in central
02:45provinces on November 4th before pummeling Vietnam, where at least five were killed. Fang Wang slammed
02:52a shore in the northeastern province on Sunday night as a super typhoon with sustained winds
02:58of up to 185 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 230 kilometers per hour. Now, the Philippines
03:06has seen two earthquakes and now this typhoon. Let's keep them in our prayers. That's all for
03:13weather tonight. Don't go anywhere. There's more news when we come back.
