00:29and micro figure accessory when it launched in stores then this set is
00:33made specifically for you kind of more of a classic color scheme this time
00:37around for what Poe's currently piloting just before we get a closer look over
00:40the Star Wars micro galaxy squadron series 3 Poe Dameron's t-70 x-wing wow
00:45that's that's a long title I like to thank the folks over at Jazwares that
00:49did provide the sample by the way that we can have a look at this one is a
00:51chase exclusive and it's limited only 5,000 copies worldwide if you think
00:56there's a high likelihood that you're never gonna get your hands on this one
00:58even if it's in your radar you can also do as well going over to Jazwares vault
01:02site the site actually has it right now for $100 not just for Poe Dameron's
01:06x-wing by the way but the entire set of series 3 for $100 again it's limited
01:11only to per customer but it's 1,500 that's all they're producing and they
01:14come in a pretty decorative box as well so if you guys are interested again

01:21is gonna be simply just a recolor of the original t-70 x-wing we've already had a
01:24look at I'll also bring in that other x-wing in a second but going from the
01:28back of the thruster to the front of the ship it's gonna be the exact same
01:30length 6 inches flip that around though 2 centimeters Poe Dameron's x-wing is
01:34gonna be about 15 centimeters long yeah being that really is just a recolor of
01:39the original Poe Dameron x-wing let's bring in the other one so you guys can
01:42see the differences it's the only more just cosmetic than anything else the
01:45only other thing that's gonna be different between the two x-wings is the
01:49type of Poe Dameron one is gonna be more of a pilot one is gonna be more and
01:52casually dressed but it seems to be the case that they both have the same
01:55included BB-8 other vehicles also as well seeing as this is now the wrap-ups
01:59of series 3 let's bring back in Anakin's starfighter we can also bring in over
02:04here the v-wing which is what my favorite by far of series 3 and then of
02:08course we also had a look at General Grievous's starfighter as well so let's
02:13talk Poe Poe and BB-8 are still contained inside of their plastic prison
02:17one little touch of detail I really like is the fact that he still include the
02:20names of the carriage down below is it a Poe Dameron and BB-8 on the adjacent
02:23side then on the back to retrieve the figures is very easy you're just gonna
02:26fold back the cardboard and then just kind of get your fingers in there a lot
02:30of times I usually just like to keep these still contained until the review
02:33actually starts just for the case the off chance somebody's cursed this
02:36channel I just happen to lose I already do lose things a lot of times don't I
02:39but there you've got Poe Dameron let's pop back out BB-8. BB-8 actually is very
02:43securely attached inside the tray just take out the figures here we'll go back
02:47to BB-8 in a second first I did want to show you guys what Poe Dameron looks
02:50like you know again for the fact that these are figures as small as they are I
02:54mean like what would that be the head of a pin that's pretty tiny I mean it's
02:58hard to really make out his features because they didn't take the time to
03:01paint that but would expectations be all that high that a figure company would
03:04have to go in and paint a figure's face that small I mean again like there's the
03:08size of my thumb that's the size of Poe Dameron's head by the way though let's
03:11just bring back in pilot Poe Dameron this can include the other x-wing I
03:15wouldn't I wouldn't say necessarily that the fit the facial features match but
03:19you can see there's definitely a different type of attire he's got a
03:22pilot outfit on one side he's got the again the jack-in-the-pants later that
03:26we see in the series he also does have the same level of articulation don't get
03:30your hopes high I mean it only is just arm articulation I guess yeah get your
03:34hopes high get them real high because for a figure this size he could have
03:37just been staction or hey you know why not they could have also just said
03:40that's your figure right there does he move does he need to move no he doesn't
03:45need to move but the fact that they had actually put articulated arms that move
03:49back and forth I mean yes they move at the same time and that they also would
03:52take the time to fold in legs so you do actually have a fairly posable figure
03:57that's pretty tiny now this also again will sit inside the cockpit of the the
04:01x-wing let's also look at BB-8 BB-8 though if you're looking at the two as
04:07move his arm and move his head around so you guys can see they're pretty much
04:11exactly the same I would have thought maybe the top of the head it was a
04:13little bit shinier on one than the other but I think I'm only just like again
04:17nickel-and-diming the details here they both attach the exact same way those
04:20holes on the bombs of their bodies they don't roll or anything like that this
04:23one actually doesn't have any articulation at all but again what are
04:26you expecting they're tiny little droids the droid is gonna though sit inside the
04:30exact same place the other placement of other BB-8 there's a hole right here and
04:34inside the hole you can see also there's a peg the pegs gonna plug into the
04:38square provided hole so basically you're just gonna line them up obviously you
04:42want to make sure he's facing forward and then just push him down when you do
04:44push him down though what it ends up doing is can you see that it pushes this
04:48part out so the idea is if you can't retrieve BB-8 on his own without being
04:52able to you know if you you're trying to pull him from the top and you can't pull
04:55him out completely you just push the button on the bottom and then that just
04:58I don't want to say rockets him out but funny enough though we did do that in
05:02one of the reviews where I was to try to put the figure in front and I just end
05:05up was it was it it was the b-wing wasn't it yeah thank you for telling me
05:08yeah when I ultimately though I press the button on the bottom and it just
05:12shot the poor droid flying I was able to retrieve a little bit later but yeah
05:15you're just gonna put BB-8 in first maybe what I'll do though is I'll open
05:18up the cockpit just opening up the canopy show you guys what it looks like
05:22on the inside it still continues the trend of molding this all in white but
05:26again you know it's decently detailed for the size of what these actually are
05:29then we're gonna go ahead and take Poe just gonna fold his legs inward and just
05:33tuck him as best you can get him and obviously bring his arms forward as well
05:37and just tuck him inside there he's actually a little harder to retrieve
05:41just because you kind of have to get your fingers in there to fish him back
05:43out but we'll just close up the canopy to ensure that he's not gonna go
05:46anywhere the canopy doesn't necessarily snap in place but it's friction so you
05:50will have to work a little harder to open it back up now let's take BB-8
05:54plug him on the back of the ship and just push it all the way in there and
05:58let's hope for the sake of BB-8 I don't ultimately press the button on the
06:01bottom so he doesn't shoot across the room getting though a closer look now
06:05at the x-wing I'm gonna bring back in the original x-wing that we already had
06:08look at both our T-70 models but clearly obviously this one is a much
06:12darker gray and they added some nice additional orange on this one I really
06:15like the color scheme on this one I mean truth be told I probably should have
06:18even started the reviews looking at more this one because it's got more of the
06:21classic colors of the white but like the the gray works really well with this
06:24particular mold from the mold I mean it looks almost like identical just the
06:28colors and the cosmetics are just changed really between the two they both
06:31also sport landing gears the landing gears already have folded out these just
06:35tuck in and you're just gonna fold these and also on the sides these have
06:39a real strong snap to them I mean you'll feel it especially when you're trying to
06:43fish these back out these snap just back out and again you just do the exact same
06:47you're just gonna pull this one forward and then it doesn't even so much snap in
06:50place but it gets to a point where it kind of holds its own kind of holds its
06:54own that's all we really necessarily need but let's just for this right we'll
06:57fold these back in and of course the wings do also fold out the exact same
07:00way that the one problem I did have though with this this variation the t70
07:05is when I folded the wings out to get in obviously the x-wing configuration one
07:09of the cannons there on the sides of the wings pop off more specifically this one
07:13right here I'm gonna see if I can do it this time around without actually popping
07:16it off but it actually only sits on site on top of the clip and actually you know
07:20what let's just remove it there's a slot right here kind of looks the shape of a
07:25staple and it basically just fits on top of that peg but I don't know if it's
07:30maybe not as secure enough attached I don't know if I want to really
07:33necessarily glue it but just with a frequency of how often that's popped off
07:37I might just end up doing that but basically you're just gonna take the
07:39wings and then you can go from like its default state to when it's ready for
07:43battle you basically just fold the wings out and when you fold them out they lock
07:48in a place where then the wings aren't gonna be going anywhere ideally this
07:51would be the way I've gonna be displaying all of my x-wings really on
07:54the shelf whether it be this one or the other one just like the look of this now
07:57one thing that you get more of the chance to see now because this is molded
08:00all in white plastic is all the additional very intricate sculpting that
08:04they put on the interior of the wings as I did say already when we looked at this
08:07version of the x-wing it's a point really that you really don't have to
08:10necessarily sculpt as much but yet jazz wears took the time to actually mold it
08:14so that everything that you're looking on the ship looks finished there's not
08:18as much paint granted on this one it does have still the blue stripes the
08:21thing I like also about the way they've applied the blue is that it's not just a
08:24clean stripe of blue either you can see like there's areas where the paint is
08:27scraped off this ship's likely been in several battles so it looks like there's
08:31a little more of a worn battle wound to the actual plot the actual molding of
08:35the ship I like the fact that there's a little paint flakes off here not that it
08:39was flaking off from the factory but just again like that they replicated the
08:42look that the ship would just have a little bit more damage and wear and
08:44tear to it this is a nice little silver there on the back the thrusters still
08:48are nicely painted so they've went in there and actually painted a little bit
08:51of pink there just to give it some idea that it's actually still flying around
08:53in space that's a nice little silver there on the back and on the front it's
08:57you know again it's just a nice-looking vehicle the thing unfortunately about it
08:59though is it's very limited I think actually the t70 x-wing is number 65 if
09:04memory serves me correctly whereas the gray version of the x-wing was number 62
09:08this one again is limited to only 3,000 copies worldwide but you know again like
09:12if you are a fan and I'm sure they probably have already released a version
09:15of an excellent probably in series 1 or series 2 I just I'm really late to the
09:18game when it comes to having a look at these that I would really like to go
09:21back and start to try to collect these but I know like the prices have now
09:23started to really increase on the actual vehicles themselves like you know
09:27Jazzwares to their credit have done a really nice job on the micro galaxy
09:30squadron vehicles the fact that one of my favorite things about it is the fact
09:33they actually still have little tiny micro figurines because you know just
09:37really on paper smaller versions of the starfighters that we get from Star Wars
09:41that's a lot of S's they could have easily just released them like this you
09:44know well obviously hingeable hingeable wings I mean we're not gonna sell it
09:47short still have like obviously landing gears but then to go then into it and
09:51also add removable droids and little tiny pilots with additional articulation
09:55and that's my favorite thing about it because again like they could have just
09:58molded Poe Dameron in just a seated position say there you go that's your
10:02figure it doesn't have any possibility doesn't need any possibility says the
10:06person from Jazzwares no they actually gave these guys a little articulation
10:10granted the articulation isn't as great as you know a larger scale figure they
10:14don't have any head articulation but I don't think they necessarily need them
10:16either you know to look at the two and let's just fold out the excellent
10:20actually bringing back in this one also reminds me of one other thing bringing
10:23the wings open and opening up the wings I should say there was a snap on this
10:28side that really had me a little more worried I thought that was maybe I
10:31damaged the plastic like there was a crack or something in there I think it's
10:34just there's a there's a force to the wings when you're bringing the wings out
10:37when you open and you close them specifically with this x-wing I just
10:41noticed that there's a little more an uneasy snapping sound when you do open
10:46up the wings but again when you're having the two displayed again one thing
10:49I also really like to is that the poe dameron while BB-8 looks to be just a
10:52carbon copy in the same remolding of the original one at least they took the time
10:56to remold different poe damerons so whether you decide to display poe
11:00dameron with the casual outfit or again that you just happen to bring back in
11:03the pilot one you can really have the figures displayed either one of the
11:05vehicles nice-looking molds not my favorite v-wing is still my favorite
11:10from series 3 but I really like what they've done here with giving us two
11:12variations instead of just the one of the x-wing I may have found myself
11:15wandering over to eBay again strictly for research purposes alone just a more
11:20out of curiosity see if they had other Star Wars micro galaxy squadron x-wings
11:24and yeah sure enough I did find some listings but the listings maybe validate
11:27the idea of just going right away to jazz wears vault site because you're
11:30getting an entire set of series 3 for $100 I found a couple of chase versions
11:35of wedge and Tillys they were going for anywhere from 60 to 80 dollars and funny
11:39enough somebody was also selling both versions of poe damerons x-wings the
11:43regular gray version and the one we looked at in this review for $137 for
11:48both x-wings so again like if you are interested and would like to get your
11:51hands and haven't had any luck to find the chase variation of the t70 x-wing
11:55that we looked at in this review like I said though jazz wears does have it
11:58right now over on their site but it's very limited to only 1,500 copies the set
12:03gives you all of series 3 so all of the five vehicles all the five starfighters
12:07we've looked at over this entire week and it's going for only $100 big thank
12:12you though once again to the folks over jazz wears that did provide the sample
12:14of the new Star Wars micro galaxy squadron poe dameron chase x-wing that
12:20we had the chance to have a look in this review of the five now that we've had a
