00:40Includes 8-inch scale Rudy figure with popcorn gun accessory.
00:44I can see the Circus of Screams is in town again.
00:46And before we get tickets for the show, I'd like to first thank the folks over at Trick-or-Treat Studios that did provide this sample.
00:51Hey, good news, everybody.
00:52The Scream Greats Series 2 Killer Clowns from Outer Space, Rudy, is available right now, right now, on their site for $39.99.
00:58You can also pay in two interest-free installments starting at $20 each time.
01:02We're going to also take the tape measure.
01:03We're going to see how tall Rudy stands.
01:05Then we'll bring in, hey, maybe some comedic colleagues of his.
01:07For the tape measure telling us, it's going to tell us that he stands 9 inches in height.
01:12That's going to work out to be a clown that's 23 centimeters tall.
01:15Still trying to figure out how I'm going to squeeze these all in one car.
01:18And it's a tiny car, too.
01:19Speaking of tiny things, let's bring in some of the other killer clowns we've already had a look at.
01:22Courtesy of Trick-or-Treat Studios, starting first with the smallest, who's fittingly named Shorty.
01:26Then we also had a look at Slim, who I think he fits the name Slim rather well.
01:30And we've also had a look at Fatso.
01:34For the figure's accessories, the figure does come in clue with this popcorn gun.
01:38I do really like the look of this popcorn gun.
01:39At one point, I was really trying to get my hands on a larger version of this that was released through Spirit Halloween.
01:45Just didn't have the funds available.
01:46Though I can live, though, vicariously through a much smaller representation of the popcorn gun that comes in clue with Rudy.
01:52The detail, though, is very nicely captured from the spots on the top.
01:55The leopard print, different opposite colors from a traditional leopard print.
01:59But then you've also got little popcorn kernels there on the top.
02:02No, the kernels don't actually move.
02:03They're sculpted inside.
02:04One thing that's cool, though, about the gun is that it does also come in clue with a projectile accessory piece.
02:09It clips on the end of the nozzle, simply just doing it like this.
02:14And now you've got yourself the popcorn shooting out the end.
02:17Love that they've captured this in the way that they have, using kind of more of a translucent clear plastic.
02:21And then the little tiny little popcorns popping their way out.
02:27I know normally you would look at this and think, hey, where can I sign up to get shot by a popcorn gun?
02:32You have to kind of see the movie first and maybe rethink your choices.
02:35The one unfortunate choice, though, about this popcorn gun being as heavy as it is,
02:39because this is all constructed here of hard plastic.
02:41This is a little more of a softer plastic.
02:43But I did find, though, getting this into Rudy's hands, that his hand doesn't quite really hold it well.
02:48Sure enough, yeah, you can easily get it into his hand.
02:51But the problem with that goes is that it just seems like it's almost too heavy for the arm to hold it up.
02:56Now, there's a little handle here to the side that you can also twist his hand around.
03:00And you can have him holding it kind of really, or even kind of if you have it holding this way, too.
03:04But you'll notice, though, when you put it down, it just is too heavy for his poor arm to hold up.
03:10And what you could always do as an alternative,
03:12I did notice, though, that Slim, because he does have the collar piece,
03:15he seems to hold his arm a little higher and a little more solid.
03:19So if you wanted to, you could, in theory, take the popcorn gun,
03:23and you could still make use of it by holding it in Slim's hands.
03:27And again, we'll just kind of wedge it in his hand.
03:29You see, like, even with the way that his arm's designed,
03:31he seems to hold the popcorn gun okay.
03:33And if you want to take yourself the attachment piece, put it on the end.
03:36For at least right now, he holds it really well.
03:38Now, both Slim and Fatso also came included with this, the cotton candy gun.
03:43Now, don't feel, though, that Rudy's not going to have any accessories at all.
03:46In fact, you could take the cotton candy gun and put it in his hand,
03:51and you can see with the weight of that, he holds it fine.
03:54So you could crisscross applesauce.
03:56You can mix around the accessories if you want.
03:59Let's move these accessories, though, out of the way.
04:01We'll also move Slim out of the way for right now,
04:03because we've extensively had a look at him in a previous review.
04:05And yes, though, if you want to see the differences,
04:07the popcorn gun on the top and clearly, though, the cotton candy gun down below,
04:11very nice color matching to the way they appear in the film.
04:14So let's move that off for right now.
04:17Now, I will tell you, just between you and me,
04:19and maybe the rest of the seven people watching,
04:21I am a big fan of Rudy's, probably my favorite of the killer clowns.
04:24And I feel, though, that Trick-or-Treat Stews has captured this extremely well.
04:29The sculpting of the face does, I think, land the likeness well of this
04:32very cool-looking clown from the movie.
04:34Of course, he does have notable features that aren't so noticeable on the other killer clowns.
04:38He has a very distinct look.
04:39One of the biggest distinctions is the fact he does have the red hair on the back of his hair.
04:43Now, I think, though, I mean, obviously,
04:45Rudy would have, Slim would have also had something of the same.
04:47You can see, though, how the features and the characters' designs,
04:50each clown is different for one another, like a sinister snowflake.
04:54I do also like the fact that their colors of their costumes also change, too.
04:58And while mostly up to this point,
05:00when we've looked at Slim,
05:01and when we've looked at Shorty,
05:03and even when we've looked at Fatso,
05:04even though Fatso probably had the more decorative of his details,
05:08Rudy certainly has the more elaborate-looking pattern work done to his outfit.
05:11His clown costume, as you can see, is made of many stripes.
05:14Kind of more like a dark,
05:16like a warm pink.
05:17You've got some blues, some blacks,
05:18and also some yellows striped all in there.
05:21And, of course, he does have the color piece there, too.
05:24The face sculpt is probably one of my personal favorites.
05:26I love the drooping ears.
05:28He always kind of reminded me of...
05:30Who was the character from Snow White and Seven Dwarfs?
05:33Was it Dopey?
05:34I think it was Dopey.
05:35Kind of always really reminded me of Dopey,
05:37with the way that his ears flopped down like this.
05:39And head sculpt, again, is fantastic on this.
05:41Now, with these being, though, screen great,
05:43there is some levels of limited articulation that goes with the territory.
05:47Head-wise, though, I mean,
05:48he is going to probably have the best benefit of articulation
05:51when it comes to the top of his head.
05:53But most of these figures are usually relegated
05:55to just standard swivels in their wrists.
05:58Granted, though, to be fair,
05:59Rudy does also have ball joints in his hands,
06:01so you can move them around as well.
06:03But really, though, for the rest of the figures,
06:04you're looking at staction all around.
06:06He does have pegels, though, to be fair,
06:08on the bottoms of his feet.
06:09I don't think, though,
06:10these figures generally do come in clear with display stands.
06:12Not that necessarily Rudy needs anything
06:14to really help hold him up.
06:15I think he does a fine job on his own,
06:17of standing on his own.
06:18Again, nice hard plastic that they're using
06:20for the majority of the figure's body.
06:21Just, again, love the paintwork, though, on his face.
06:24You can see, though,
06:25even the colors of the eyebrows
06:26seem like it's a slightly darker blue.
06:29Tiny little beady eyes,
06:30clown little eyes looking straight at you.
06:32And I love the look of the yellow.
06:33Again, you've got that kind of warmer pink there
06:35for the top of his collar.
06:37The collar does seem, though,
06:38like it's made of a more softer plastic.
06:41My guess is, though,
06:41that he probably adhered it to the top of his body.
06:44So it's not...
06:45While it does seem like it is a loose piece,
06:46a separate piece,
06:47it is very firmly attached
06:49to the top of his body.
06:51Again, you've got the large polka dots there
06:52for the front of his chest.
06:53These nicely have been also sculpted
06:55and not just painted on top of the surface.
06:58Giant clown shoes also, as well,
06:59go with the territory of him
07:00being a killer clown and all.
07:01So one of my favorite things, though,
07:03also about with Rudy
07:04is that the stripes go
07:05whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh,
07:07go this way, vertical.
07:08And yet when it goes to his feet,
07:10they go the opposite way.
07:11So it sort of does give you
07:12a little bit more to look at with your eyes.
07:14Again, when it comes to the levels
07:15of possibility for Rudy,
07:17about the same as all the other killer clowns.
07:19So the head's going to be on a ball joint.
07:20For with that, though,
07:21you can move the head up and down.
07:23You can rock it back and forth.
07:24So it seems a little confused
07:25why people are running and screaming from them.
07:28But you can also rock the head back and forth.
07:29Then, yeah, you could rotate the head
07:30all the way around if you wanted to.
07:32The head does get a little caught up at times
07:34when it has to get across the collar.
07:35But overall, though,
07:36the head has really decent mobility.
07:38Again, like the arms do move,
07:40you can move them forward and back
07:41just with the way that they're also sculpted, too.
07:43It's not like you can do it like a full rotation.
07:45He gets to about here,
07:46and obviously he hits the collar.
07:48Same thing on this side, too.
07:49This one, actually,
07:50you could rotate all the way around, too.
07:52There is a little bit what seems to be a hinge
07:54where you can move them out,
07:55but not by much, though.
07:56The hands, and I didn't spend too much time
07:58really actually showing you guys
07:59what the hands look like.
08:00See how they've even painted
08:01the ends of the fingernails.
08:03Really nice job.
08:04Hands rotate, again, all the way around.
08:07They are on also peg ball joints, too,
08:09so you can move them back and forth.
08:10And again, like for the rest of the figure's body,
08:12more or less just a staction.
08:13No posability at all in play
08:15down below here for the feet.
08:16But again, I don't feel the figures
08:17necessarily need those at all.
08:19If you're one that really collected
08:21like the horror figure lines
08:22from the early 2000s,
08:23this, again, is a great successor to that.
08:25But, and again, if you're a big fan
08:26of killer clowns, I mean, let's face facts.
08:28Some of the best killer clowns,
08:29if not the best killer clowns figures
08:31we've gotten has been from,
08:32of course, Trick or Treat Studios.
08:33With what we've gotten so far
08:35from what now four clowns in,
08:37we are also, thanks to the folks
08:38over at Trick or Treat Studios,
08:39going to also be looking at the Series 2
08:40killer clowns Spiky and Jumbo.
08:43Those will be coming in upcoming reviews.
08:45Lots of good colors going on
08:46with these clowns, too.
08:47Rudy, again, for my personal taste,
08:49is one of my favorites
08:50of the killer clowns.
08:51And I love the fact
08:52that they also include with him
08:53the popcorn gun.
08:54Again, the only one thing
08:55about the popcorn gun
08:56is that it does have
08:57a lot of weight to it.
08:59Not so much, though,
08:59for the popcorn popping out
09:01on the end of it.
09:02But even if you remove that
09:03and left it on its own,
09:05it seems like it's almost too heavy
09:06for poor Rudy to hold on his own.
09:08However, though,
09:09you could have, like, Slim.
09:10I found Slim really of the two
09:11between him and Fatso.
09:13Was the easiest to hold
09:14the popcorn gun,
09:15just because his arms
09:16seemed to be the tightest
09:17of the three.
09:18And again, don't feel like
09:19he's getting left out
09:20in the mix, though.
09:21I mean, Rudy very well
09:22could also hold
09:23the cotton candy gun.
09:24One of the accessories
09:25that also came to include
09:26is Slim and Fatso.
09:27Fatso came with one,
09:28Slim came with one.
09:29Either one of them,
09:29I'm sure, could share
09:30the accessories around
09:32and give it to Rudy
09:33because he does have
09:34a hard time holding
09:34the popcorn gun.
09:36Other than that, though,
09:37it's a fantastic looking figure.
09:38Very well painted,
09:39equally well sculpted.
09:41I think Trick or Treat Studios
09:41knocked it out of the park
09:42with one of, again,
09:43my personal favorites,
09:44if not my favorite
09:45killer clown, Rudy.
09:46Now, all hope is not lost.
09:47If you're still insistent
09:48on having the popcorn gun
09:49with Rudy,
09:50because after all,
09:50the figure does come
09:51included with it.
09:52If you're willing
09:53to sacrifice
09:53the popcorn projectile
09:56that goes on the end
09:56of the nozzle,
09:57you can actually rest
09:58the popcorn gun
09:59more against his shoulder
10:00and it offsets
10:01some of the weight.
10:02If you still want to have
10:03the popcorn projectile
10:04on the end of it,
10:05one workaround fix
10:06that I did mention
10:06in this review
10:07is use it with Slim.
10:08Slim seems to have,
10:09at least based on my figure,
10:10tighter shoulders than Rudy,
10:11and he has no problems
10:13whatsoever
10:13holding the popcorn gun
10:14with the projectile
10:15already shooting out the end.
10:16Don't feel, though,
10:17that Rudy's going
10:18to be doing without.
10:18You can easily use,
10:19then, the ray gun,
10:21the cotton candy gun
10:22that came clear
10:22with both Slim and Fatso,
10:24and Rudy can use
10:24that one instead.
10:25Great-looking colors,
10:27though, on Rudy.
10:27I love the head sculpt
10:28on this one.
10:29For me, at least,
10:30it's my favorite
10:31of what Trick-or-Treat Studios
10:32has done so far
10:33with the Killer Clowns franchise.
10:34And that's not just,
10:35I mean, we're not near
10:36the end of this at all.
10:37I mean, for the rest
10:38of this week, too,
10:39thanks to Trick-or-Treat Studios,
10:40we'll also be looking
10:41at the Killer Clowns
10:42from Outer Space,
10:42Jumbo and Spikey.
10:44But what do you guys
10:45think of Rudy?
10:45Let me know down below
10:46in the comments section
10:47if this is one that you guys
10:48would like to get.
10:48A clown for Christmas,
10:50this one is available right now
10:51on Trick-or-Treat Studios
10:52website for $39.99.
10:55Again, a big thank you
10:55to the folks over
10:56at Trick-or-Treat Studios
10:57that did provide this sample.
10:58What do you guys think of Rudy?
10:59And what's your favorite
11:00Killer Clowns
11:01from the Killer Clowns
11:01from Outer Space film?
11:02If you guys did also
11:03enjoy this video,
11:04you can do it a solid
11:05throw to like.
11:05You guys want to stick around
11:06for more so?
11:07I hope so.
11:08Yeah, we're going to be

11:12reviews for the rest of this week.

11:15are going to be coming back
11:15for those.
11:16As always,
