00:00Skeletor needed some more hired help, so Mondo sculpted him a sorceress.
00:04Here's your look at the new Mondo Mass Universe Evil Lin 1-6th Scale Timed Edition.
00:09DRAWING INSPIRATION
00:39For 10 days only, the Deluxe Evil Lin 1-6th Scale Figure Timed Edition comes complete with an array of swappable portraits, hands, and scepters, plus Screech, the barbarian bird.
00:48Well, we know that she's pure evil, but is she near perfect?
00:50We're going to answer that question in a second.
00:52First, I'd like to thank the folks over at Mondo that did provide this sample.
00:55The Mass Universe Evil Lin 1-6th Scale Timed Edition, unfortunately, has sold out since on their site.
01:00At the time that she was listed, she was listed for $260.
01:03Now, you can select the option on their site of notify me when available.
01:06So, putting in your details, putting in your email, you can be notified if they happen to stalk her again.
01:11Let's take those with a tape measure and see how tall the figure stands.
01:13Then we'll bring in other examples of other masters.
01:15The figure of Evil Lin is going to stand 11 1⁄2 inches in height.
01:19That's going to translate to a figure that's 29 centimeters tall.
01:23I guess it is a good day to be a bad guy, and such great examples of bad guys, too.
01:26Hey, look at the lay of the land.
01:27We've got ourselves, of course, Evil Lin's boss, Skeletor, and another release from Mondo, the menacing Trap Jaws.
01:32From a scaling standpoint, Evil Lin, yeah, I think she'd be a little bit shorter than Skeletor.
01:36She certainly is a lot shorter than Trap Jaw, too.
01:39As for another female example, here's what the figure looks like.
01:41Not with one that works for Skeletor, but then one that works for the king.
01:44Here's what the figure looks like, as well.
01:46With Tila, there really is a lot to cover.
01:48Why don't we look at the thing that her boots cover first?
01:50The figure does come in clue with an oval-shaped display stand, one that we've seen before.
01:54Cast tall, here really nicely, in shiny black plastic.
01:57The bottom of the base, though, isn't nearly as shiny, so I wonder if they actually put a coat over top of this.
02:01It is a much larger footprint space, too.
02:04I really like that they've gone away from moving further away from those M-shaped logo stands that they had done before.
02:09This gives you a much more larger footprint space and accommodates the figures much better.
02:13There is also, again, the adjustable neck that plugs in place.
02:16If you look at this, actually, there's a slot right here, and there's a slotted peg right here.
02:20Plug the two together, and you've got yourself instantly a display stand.
02:23The display stand does also have itself a clip.
02:25Now, the thing about the clip, though, by the sizing of this, it actually more accommodates fitting around her leg.
02:31I haven't actually used it yet, and part of me actually doesn't think I want to use it either.
02:35Sure, yes, it does have rubbery feet on the end of this, but just with the quarters being so small like this,
02:40my one real worry, though, especially with her having white plastic for her legs, is if that may potentially scrape it.
02:45I have tried it a couple of times, and it works still fine.
02:48But I think moving forward, though, with displaying Evil Lynn on the shelf, I'm probably going to do away with the idea of using the display stand,
02:53although I do appreciate the fact that they include it.
02:56As for including accessories, boy, does Evil Lynn do well for herself.
02:59The figure for the smaller accessories comes in clue with a dagger.
03:01There doesn't seem, though, to be a place where you could store the dagger on the figure's body,
03:05but likelihood, though, with the swappable hands that she has available as well, you can always have the dagger held in her hand instead.
03:10The dagger is cast very well here in plastic.
03:13The decorative details don't just stop with the sculpting alone.
03:16They have meticulously painted this in a really nice metallic blue.
03:20At the end of the hilt, you can see as well they've sculpted a skull.
03:23Boy, oh boy, that's a cool-looking dagger.
03:25Not to be overshadowed, though.
03:27The figure does also come in clue with both a scepter and as well a staff.
03:31The staff and scepter are very similar in design, not so similar in size.
03:37One is also more easier to carry just in her hand alone.
03:40One is one that she can certainly use more as a walking stick.
03:42You can see, like, the details still say somewhat of the same.
03:46One thing I really do like, though, is that the orb that they've added inside of this does have a translucency to it,
03:50so it does look like this could illuminate.
03:53Again, like, from a sizing standpoint, there's a lot more blue that goes, though, into the spear than it does to the scepter.
03:59The scepter has a little bit more of the black.
04:00Unfortunately, though, one thing I've noticed, getting this in her hand for the few times that I have,
04:05either some of the paint has been scraped off of the hand or probably the opposite.
04:08Some of the paint, though, has scraped off from the handle of the scepter.
04:12So when you are putting it into her hand, for example, let's just see an example here.
04:15Grab the hand and sort of just pry it open enough that you can get the scepter in there without feeling a need to kind of force it down from the top,
04:23because I think that's the likelihood where you're going to be scraping it.
04:25Again, just kind of pry the hand open.
04:27It sits a little on the loose side, but again, I'd rather probably this be looser than a super tight grip.
04:33The hands, again, we'll also look at as well.
04:36So the scepter, the spear, and the dagger.
04:38What else?
04:39The figure does also come with the shaping staff.
04:41How about that?
04:42The shaping staff, again, not quite the blue or the purple that we've looked at, but all done nicely here in gold.
04:47I do like that they've added darker colors of the gold in there as well, so it's not just all the same color.
04:52Again, just look at the detailing that they've done to the shaping staff.
04:55Just really a fun, included accessory.
04:58This is one thing I really like about Evil Lynn is that they threw in things like the shaping staff.
05:01They also threw in Screech.
05:03No, not the guy from Saved by the Bell.
05:05Screech!
05:06Ah!
05:06Does come include on top of his perch.
05:08You can actually detach the condor.
05:10Is it a condor?
05:11And it plugs in just to the top right here.
05:13There's a hole.
05:14There's a hole.
05:14And if you look on the bottom of Screech's talons, you can actually see that there's pegs right here.
05:19In the pictures that they've used actually on Mondo's site, they actually do have images of Evil Lynn with Screech sitting on her arm.
05:26Not the easiest thing, really, to pull off because the bird does have some weight to it.
05:30But if, again, you want to plug it onto the staff of the little perch, just plug it on like that.
05:35Does it survive the blizzard test?
05:37It does.
05:37I'm not going to do it very long, though.
05:39The detailing, though, done to the actual perch itself, again, cast here in a very bright kind of red plastic.
05:44You can see that some additional scrolling has been added also down below there as well.
05:48Let's just put that right over here.
05:50Grabbing again Screech.
05:51Screech does have some assembly that's required.
05:54Mainly, though, that the wings are separate from them.
05:56So when you get this bird out, let me just pull one of them off here so you guys can see.
06:01It's probably not the easiest thing to do now that I've done it once.
06:03There we go.
06:04When he comes out, he actually comes with just his base and his body.
06:07You can see, like, there's posts right here, and then the wings are separate pieces.
06:10The wings, all they really need to do is just be put onto the pegs.
06:13And when you put them onto the pegs, too, and you start to move the bird around,
06:17if you look at the back of this, I'm just going to move these back a bit,
06:20you can see that he's got these little cannons.
06:22It's funny, though, that he actually has missiles on the front, cannons on the back.
06:25But when you do put the wings down, just be careful, though.
06:28If you put the wings underneath, you're not going to be able to move the wing up.
06:31If you move the wing above, if you have it sitting above the back of the crest,
06:34you can then move the wings around.
06:36And there's, you know, there's posability.
06:38So you can actually bring the wings up, and you can bring them down,
06:41depending on, again, how you want to have this displayed.
06:43That looks so super cool.
06:45I love the colors, though, on Screech.
06:47Again, he's got the little missiles there on the sides that you can so shoot down if you want,
06:50if he's flying in the sky.
06:51It looks like he's also got himself like a laser gun on the bottom there and a laser on the top.
06:55There's a lot of good stuff going on here.
06:57My only one thing, though, is if looking at Screech,
07:00I would think, though, he would scorch the end of his tail off.
07:02If the thrusters are coming out the back, let's hope he never ends up having to use his thrusters.
07:06Does it balance, though, on Evil Lynn?
07:08It doesn't balance the greatest, though.
07:10I mean, you can kind of rest it onto her arm.
07:12I don't know if I would do this long term,
07:14because the thing about that, though, is it's also adding unnecessary weight.
07:18Now, you can see it balances, but again, by doing this,
07:21you're adding, then, stress to her shoulders.
07:23This isn't something, though, I would consider doing for a long period of time.
07:27So what we'll do then instead is we'll get Screech,
07:29just put him back onto the perch,
07:31and then we can move on to the rest of the figure's accessories.
07:34Again, just plug that in, plug that in,
07:36maybe bring his wings down just a little bit,
07:38and we'll move Screech right over here.
07:40Okay, so we looked at the scepter, the staff,
07:42we've looked at the dagger, we've looked at Screech.
07:44Ah!
07:45Let's maybe move our focus over, then, to her hands.
07:48Evelyn does have, on the ends of her forearms right now,
07:50a pair of relaxed hands
07:51that can so easily be swapped out with a pair of close fists instead.
07:55The figure does also come in clue with a couple of gripping hands,
07:58and we've already looked at this,
07:59well, we looked at this gripping hand that's currently holding the scepter,
08:01but she does also have the mirror flip of it
08:03that goes on the other side of the figure's body.
08:05These are really cool.
08:06The figure does also have a couple of spell-casting hands.
08:10Probably not a good idea to be in front of her.
08:12And she does also come in clue with a couple of dynamic or gestured hands there, too.
08:17One hand that you may not be able to see is right over here.
08:20The figure also comes in clue with a spell-casting hand.
08:22Now, this was clever on their part.
08:24They sculpted this energy construct around her hand,
08:27but it's actually attached onto her hand,
08:29so you don't have to worry about trying to feed that around.
08:32It's frustrating at times when you get yourself figures,
08:34and they have some energy effects,
08:36and then you have to kind of try to figure out,
08:37okay, well, which hand is it supposed to go with?
08:39And then do your best to kind of finagle it around the existing hands.
08:43This one just solves the problem already.
08:45The hands are already attached to it,
08:46so all you really then need to do is just take the hand that...
08:49Also follow, of course, the format of rule...
08:51The thumbs go in,
08:52so we're going to go on this side of the figure's body,
08:54unpeg the hand,
08:56then take the spell-cast hand.
08:58Did I have it on the wrong way?
08:59I did have...
08:59After all that, I did do it on the wrong side.
09:02Unplug the correct hand.
09:04There we go.
09:05And plug then on the spell-casting hand.
09:09So between that,
09:10and then we can go ahead and actually we'll remove this hand,
09:12seeing as we were doing something with it anyways.
09:14And then we can attach the scepter.
09:16Now that's a classic look for Evil Lynn just alone,
09:19without having to swap out anything else.
09:21And boy, boy, does she look fantastic.
09:23The figure does also have a few swappable additional clothing attire.
09:27She does have a skirting,
09:28and she does also have a cape.
09:31Let's go ahead and take the hands off right now,
09:33just because I know they're going to be getting in the way.
09:36We'll also take this one off also as well.
09:37Let's take maybe a couple of spell-casting hands,
09:40plug that on one side,
09:42and yeah, we'll do it on the other side there too.
09:44There we go.
09:45With Evil Lynn now free to do what she needs to do,
09:48let's look at her clothing here.
09:50So one clothing works a little bit better than the other.
09:52She has a skirt piece.
09:53Now the skirt does have some fraying on the bottom of this.
09:56I do really like the material that they've used.
09:58It's got a little bit of an elasticity to it.
10:00But it works by a clasp.
10:02So on the inside,
10:02you may see that there's a black clasp right here,
10:05and then there's a loop that loops onto that.
10:08And when you get this actually out of the packaging,
10:09it's already attached like this.
10:11I like that it's actually detachable.
10:14Instead of having to worry about feeding this upper legs,
10:16you simply just undetach this
10:19and just fit this around her waist
10:20and just clasp it back shut.
10:22She does also come and include
10:23with an additional skirting piece,
10:24which again does have some really nice detailing on that.
10:27For a second though, looking at this,
10:29I mean, obviously it's not red,
10:30but it looks a little bit like the horde symbol.
10:32And that just basically just fits around her waist.
10:34She technically does already have a belt.
10:36The belt is something if you want,
10:37you can leave it on her.
10:38But if you just spin this around,
10:40there is this larger piece,
10:41this larger part of the belt
10:43actually does unclasp.
10:45So there's a little loop right on the bottom here.
10:47We basically just pull this off.
10:49And then you can just have that separate.
10:52Or I'd rather just maybe just leave it on there.
10:54The one thing I really worry about though,
10:56is especially this little thinner bit of plastic.
10:58It's a rubbery plastic, sure,
11:00but it's still that kind of plastic.
11:02Pulling this off and reattaching it a couple of times,
11:05I worry if that may start to develop a fracture
11:07or stress marks to the plastic.
11:09What you can though do instead
11:10is just basically put the skirting over top of it.
11:12So again, the way the skirting works
11:14is just going to unclasp it like this.
11:18It's not the easiest thing, mind you, to do,
11:19but there we go.
11:21And then just fit this around the waist of Evil Lynn.
11:26The benefit of this, at least too,
11:27is that you can also decide
11:28which parts of Evil Lynn you want to maintain,
11:30which parts though you want to change.
11:32You just basically put the skirt on like that.
11:34Take the belt.
11:36Let's put her down here for a second.
11:37Take the belt.
11:38And the belt doesn't require any bit of disassembly.
11:41You don't have to unhook anything.
11:42And that basically just fits around her waist.
11:45What I'm doing right now are the easiest thing to do.
11:48I had a harder time, honestly though,
11:49changing and adding the cape.
11:51So again, we'll just kind of fit this around her waist like that.
11:54Somewhat like this.
11:56There we go.
11:57Again, you can probably fix that a little bit better
11:59than what I'm doing right now.
12:01And then she also comes included with a cape.
12:02So here's my one issue with a cape.
12:05See, there's a hole right here.
12:07And on the other side of that,
12:08there's also a hole right here.
12:09I've looked at images online for Evil Lynn.
12:12And from what I gather,
12:13at least from the pictures that they provide,
12:15is that she has spikes right here
12:17on the front of her bodice.
12:18That my guess is,
12:19that's where these cape pieces are supposed to go.
12:21So when you put this on her cape,
12:23first of all,
12:23she does have a faux fur collar piece.
12:26And in the images,
12:26it seems like the cape actually goes underneath it.
12:29So like this lifts up,
12:31and then you can just feed the cape underneath it.
12:33And for all intents and purposes,
12:35what's supposed to happen,
12:36you're supposed to take the hole
12:37and you're supposed to fit it onto the spike.
12:40But with not having a cap,
12:41something that can go then over top of it,
12:43even when you get the cape actually on there.
12:45So see, as you can see,
12:47it's been penetrated by the point.
12:49It doesn't stay on there very long.
12:50And the moment you actually seem to put the cape on,
12:53it falls right back off.
12:55And this isn't going to bother me
12:56because in the end,
12:57I'm not going to display Evil Lynn anyways
12:59with the cape on.
13:00But having this be something
13:02that attaches onto her body,
13:03I feel like there may have been
13:04probably something I was missing
13:06when it came to the designing of it.
13:07Sure, yes, it again goes onto the spike.
13:09But again, I probably would have taken
13:10like a little cap piece
13:11and put it on top of that
13:13to keep the cape in place.
13:15Now, I'm sure there may be other ways
13:17to affix this onto her body.
13:18But as you can again see,
13:20it just doesn't stay on there all that well.
13:23Let's take this off.
13:25Let's also unclasp the skirting.
13:28And we'll kind of move
13:28all the accessories then out of the way.
13:29And then what we'll do
13:30is we'll look at her head.
13:32So with that all off,
13:33let's get a closer look at Evil Lynn's head.
13:35Now, this is the stock head
13:36when you get her out of the box.
13:38Pretty looking portrait.
13:39Pretty looking Evil Lynn.
13:41I don't mind the fact
13:41that she's actually evil.
13:42She is quite the attractive character.
13:45Of the accessories though,
13:46head-wise that she comes included with,
13:47she comes with, first of all,
13:49a screaming face,
13:51which I think is so super cool.
13:53Still in all the cases,
13:54well, except for really one,
13:56she has the headdress piece
13:57and that's all sculpted
13:58with the helmet that she's wearing.
13:59So she's got a screaming face.
14:02Would it be a screaming face?
14:04Maybe she's just like,
14:05I don't know,
14:05maybe she's giving instructions
14:06to the rest of the Skeletor's cronies.
14:09And then she also has this head sculpt.
14:11I love this head.
14:13As you can see,
14:13a big smile on her face.
14:15She's looking so rather sinister.
14:17I love that they've also colored
14:18her eye shadow there
14:19in like a greenish color.
14:22Now, swapping out the heads
14:22is super easy to do.
14:23You're just going to hold on to the torso.
14:25Just pop off her provided head
14:26from the peg.
14:27There we go.
14:28And then swap it out
14:29with the head that you want to use.
14:31Now, one thing I did notice though
14:32with Evil Lynn
14:33is if you have her head
14:34all the way down,
14:35it does seem like
14:36she's got a little less neck.
14:38What I like to generally do
14:39is just kind of bring her head
14:40just up a little bit.
14:42So it's just,
14:43just sitting on the peg,
14:45not all the way down.
14:46And I find though,
14:47it actually just gives her
14:48a little bit more additional length
14:49and it helps give her
14:50a better proportion.
14:51Now there's this head sculpt
14:52and then there's also
14:54an unhelmeted head.
14:56I'm not generally one
14:58that kind of leans
14:58to the side of displaying her
14:59without a helmet.
15:01I mean, I know some people
15:01really like the look of that.
15:03I mean, the latest revelation,
15:05Master of the Universe
15:05did have her sort of
15:06sporting different hairstyles.
15:08I mean, it looks good,
15:09just not really something
15:11I would ever really display
15:11with Evil Lynn.
15:12I like my Evil Lynn
15:13to have a cool looking helmet
15:14and this one definitely does that.
15:17For the rest though
15:17of the figure's body,
15:18I'm just going to make sure
15:19that's all the way snapped
15:20just because it's going to be
15:21a little bit easier
15:21to look at the articulation.
15:22Should maybe we move
15:23Screech out of the way?
15:24Ah, let's put him off
15:25to the side for at least right now.
15:27For the rest though
15:28of Evil Lynn's body,
15:29and again, we've already
15:29established the fact
15:30that she does have
15:31a faux fur collar
15:32on the back.
15:33Now this does attach
15:34only here and on the other
15:36side right here.
15:37Again, images though,
15:38it looks almost as if
15:39the fur collar
15:40actually attaches
15:41onto the spikes.
15:42But as you can see though,
15:43they don't.
15:44They're a little bit
15:44further back from that.
15:46Got a nice little
15:47spiky collar there
15:48on the front.
15:49Love the decorative details
15:50to her again,
15:50her bodice on the front.
15:52Classic looking Evil Lynn.
15:54Again, some really nice
15:55additional sculpting
15:55that they've added
15:56to the front of that.
15:57The belt sits a little
15:58on the looser side,
15:59but again, if you're going
16:00to have it lower down
16:00on her hips,
16:01you're probably not going
16:02to notice that moving
16:03around as much.
16:04Nice detailing that
16:05they've also done there
16:06to her gauntlets,
16:07as well as the bicep ring
16:08that she has there as well.
16:10I don't know, again,
16:10if that has a correct term
16:11to it.
16:12But again, really nice
16:13looking figure.
16:14This is again why I probably
16:15wouldn't use the display stand,
16:16just even though
16:17they've added caps
16:18on the end of it.
16:19My worry again is
16:20with how good that looks
16:22and painted,
16:23I worry that that would
16:23maybe scrape the plastic.
16:25All in all,
16:25like you've got the fur trim
16:27there on the tops
16:27of the boots.
16:28I like the knee guards
16:29that have the skulls
16:30there on the front.
16:31The colors though
16:31of the blue look vibrant
16:33and just alive and rich.
16:35And again,
16:35she's also got some
16:35really nice bandaged up boots.
16:37I love the strapping
16:38that they've added
16:38in there as well.
16:39Even though,
16:40even if really,
16:41like you look on the
16:41backs of the heels,
16:42they've also added
16:43some additional silver.
16:44I don't think they need
16:45to add that at all
16:45with how much more
16:46that they've already done
16:47to the back of the figure.
16:48Even speaking of
16:48the back of the figure,
16:49there's what the back
16:50of the figure looks
16:50like as well.
16:51It's just,
16:52it's such a great
16:53looking evil Lynn
16:53with a lot of cool
16:54accessories going for her
16:55as well.
16:56For the figure's articulation,
16:57going back though
16:58to her head,
16:58do you want to go
16:58with this head?
16:59Do we want to maybe
16:59change out the heads?
17:01You know what,
17:01let's change out the heads.
17:03Let's kind of run
17:03through the gauntlet
17:04of the different head
17:05expressions that she has.
17:06We'll pop this one
17:07on instead.
17:09And again,
17:09all of them attached
17:10by ball joints.
17:10So again,
17:11we want to make sure
17:11that's all the way
17:12on there.
17:13There we go.
17:14For evil Lynn's
17:15articulation,
17:16we'll go back to her head
17:16again.
17:17Her head's going to be
17:17on a ball joint.
17:18It doesn't move though
17:19up and down all that much,
17:21but you can certainly
17:22rock it back and forth.
17:23You could in theory,
17:24I suppose,
17:24rotate it all the way around.
17:25The one thing though
17:26you can be running into
17:27though is the conflict
17:27of the collar.
17:28And again,
17:29she also has the little
17:30sections there
17:30on the side of her helmet.
17:31So you may want to just
17:33kind of make sure
17:33you don't hit those.
17:35But again,
17:35the head does have mobility,
17:37not a whole lot though.
17:38The upper torso though
17:39does have a lot more.
17:40You can move it
17:41forward and back.
17:42I just noticed though
17:42on mine,
17:43it's a little more
17:44on the tighter side.
17:45But again,
17:45you can rotate it
17:46forward and back.
17:47The figure does also have
17:48a little bit down below
17:49in her abdomen area too.
17:51The arms rotate
17:52all the way around.
17:53The one thing again
17:53you're going to kind of
17:54find yourself facing
17:55is again like the shoulder pads.
17:57The arms do go
17:58all the way around,
17:59but you're going to be
18:00feeling it like you're
18:01hitting that shoulder pad
18:02every single time
18:02that you do.
18:03The arms come out
18:04easily at 90 degrees
18:05or a T post.
18:07She does also have
18:07a bend in her elbow,
18:08which also serves
18:09to give the forearm
18:10a swivel back and forth.
18:11The hands rotate
18:12all the way around.
18:13You can hinge them
18:13back and forth
18:13if you want to use
18:14of course these hands
18:15or not.
18:16For her legs,
18:16the legs are on
18:17ball joints,
18:18but they're really
18:19tight on this figure.
18:20You can move them
18:21in and out.
18:22There is,
18:23seems to be again,
18:24by the way they sculpt
18:24the back of her body.
18:26I can see really
18:27why there's reasons
18:28why her legs
18:28are a little bit
18:29more limited.
18:29They move,
18:30sure enough,
18:31forward and back,
18:31no problems there.
18:32But moving them out,
18:34you can see
18:34they sort of hit
18:35the back of her,
18:36well sorry,
18:36the back of her behind.
18:38A little bit of a swivel
18:39there at the top of the thigh.
18:40The figure does also
18:40have a double hinge
18:41on the knee.
18:42There is articulation
18:42here as well
18:43so you can rotate
18:43the boots up and down
18:45the ankle goes.
18:45It's a little on
18:46the squeakier side,
18:47but it does give you
18:48some nice ankle articulation.
18:49You can also rock it
18:50back and forth as well.
18:51What a nice evil Lynn.
18:52Oh boy.
18:53There's a lot of good
18:54stuff going on
18:55for this figure.
18:55I mean,
18:56unfortunately though,
18:57the problem with it
18:58that she sold out
18:58so fast.
19:00And again,
19:00we'll bring back
19:01in Screech.
19:01Ah!
19:02Let's bring back in
19:03the other cronies
19:04of Skeletor.
19:05Let's bring in
19:06Trapjaw.
19:08I think at one point
19:09I had myself a faker.
19:10They did release a faker
19:11a long time ago,
19:12but since then though,
19:13Mondo has really
19:14kind of redesigned
19:15the Masters.
19:15So the newer stuff
19:16that we're getting now
19:17I think really is
19:18just trumping the stuff
19:20that they had done before.
19:21And of course,
19:21there's also Skeletor too.
19:24Evil Lynn's got a lot
19:25of stuff going good for her.
19:26I mean,
19:27again,
19:27like the one only
19:28real issue that I have
19:29is like the attaching
19:29of the cape.
19:30The cape does have
19:31in theory holes,
19:32but they don't really
19:33necessarily attach really well
19:34to the spikes
19:35on the front of her body.
19:36And then again,
19:37she has so much going for her.
19:38Some swappable heads.
19:39The hard thing really though
19:40is choosing which head
19:41is best for Evil Lynn.
19:43While I do like
19:43the neutral expression,
19:44I think they painted
19:45it really well.
19:46I think I'd probably gravitate
19:48either to having
19:48the smiling face
19:49for Evil Lynn
19:50or this head sculpt
19:51for Evil Lynn.
19:52And of course,
19:52there is also,
19:53if you prefer your Evil Lynn
19:54without the helmet,
19:55there's that as well.
19:56The shaping staff.
19:57She also comes included
19:58with again the staff
19:59and the scepter.
20:01Again,
20:01$260,
20:03I think probably
20:04is one of the reasons
20:04why these Mondo figure releases
20:06sell out so fast.
20:07Selling them at the price
20:08that they do,
20:09releasing again the quality
20:10and just the amount
20:11of craftsmanship
20:12that goes into these figures
20:13in the first place.
20:14Again,
20:14probably be all the reasons
20:15why these figures sell out
20:16as quickly as they do.
20:18I hope though,
20:19they do decide
20:20to re-release
20:20some of these figures
20:21for chances then
20:22that collectors
20:23who missed their mark
20:24didn't get the chance
20:25to get Evil Lynn
20:25the first time around
20:26can then go back
20:27to the site.
20:28Again,
20:28I would always really
20:28recommend this.
20:29Go to the site,
20:30select the option,
20:31notify me when available
20:32so that if Evil Lynn
20:33gets stalked again,
20:34you can pick her up
20:35and add her to your shelf.
20:36I spent nearly enough time
20:37showcasing the benefits
20:38of Screech
20:39and the fact that the figure
20:40does also have some
20:40posability on the tops
20:41of his legs.
20:42So you can move the wings,
20:43you can move its legs
20:44and Screech is good to go.
20:46You can either display
20:47the figure obviously
20:48on the forum of Evil Lynn
20:50or if you don't really
20:51like that idea,
20:52you have a perch
20:52available there as well.
20:53There's a lot of good stuff
20:54available here for Evil Lynn.
20:56First of all,
20:56four swappable heads,
20:58each unique
20:58from one another.
20:59The one that's
21:00the most unique
21:01is the fact that
21:01there is the one
21:02that has the unhelmeted
21:03head portrait.
21:04I mean,
21:04I'm not one that really
21:05generally likes Evil Lynn
21:06without the helmet
21:06but if you do,
21:07there's one available.
21:08The figure does come
21:09include with of course
21:10the staff,
21:10the scepter,
21:11the shaping staff
21:12and she comes include
21:13with a couple of
21:14spell casting hands.
21:15One specifically
21:15that has energy
21:16all around it.
21:17A smart touch though
21:18on Mondo's part
21:19that they actually
21:19added the energy
21:20to the hand
21:21so you don't have
21:21to worry,
21:22try to guess
21:22which hand
21:23is this supposed
21:24to go with
21:24and try your best
21:25to fit this around it.
21:26Everything is all
21:27good to go.
21:27The only thing
21:28that really isn't
21:28as good to go
21:29is that the cape
21:30doesn't really attach
21:31as securely
21:32as I would have liked.
21:33From at least
21:34what I'm seeing online,
21:35the images seem to show
21:37that the cape attaches
21:38onto the spikes
21:38that she has
21:39on the front of a bodice
21:40and while they fit
21:41on there,
21:42they don't stay
21:42sadly on there.
21:44Maybe if they had included
21:45even like a clear
21:47rubbery kind of clip piece
21:48like something on the back
21:50of like an earring
21:50for example,
21:51something that could have
21:52clipped onto that
21:53to hold the cape in place.
21:55I mean,
21:55it's a bit of a bummer though
21:56if you want to display
21:57the figure with the cape.
21:58My plan though
21:59is to be displaying
21:59Eva Lynn the way
22:00that you're seeing right now
22:01without the cape,
22:02without the skirt,
22:02as evil as she can be.
22:05A big thank you again
22:05to the folks over at Mondo
22:06that did provide this sample.
22:08Now again,
22:08like this one
22:09did unfortunately sell out
22:10on their site.
22:11Eva Lynn,
22:11the timed edition
22:12was at the time
22:12selling for $260.
22:14She sold out
22:15again super fast.
22:16Now what you can do though
22:18is when you go to the site
22:19and you see some of these figures
22:20that are currently sold out,
22:22select the option
22:23notify me when available.
22:24I think it works twofold.
22:25Not only does it tell Mondo
22:27first of all
22:28that there's collectors
22:28out there that are interested.
22:30So let's say
22:30if they were thinking,
22:31okay,
22:31do we need to make another run
22:32of Eva Lynn
22:33and then all of a sudden,
22:34bingo,
22:35200 people go and notify them.
22:37Well,
22:37they'll know right away
22:38that if they do a second run
22:39of the figure,
22:40there's collectors
22:40that are already
22:41going to be interested.
22:42But it's also your way too
22:43to keep track of these figures.
22:45So if there is the chance
22:46that Eva Lynn gets another run,
22:48that you will then be notified
22:50and you can pick her up
22:50that way as well.
22:52Again,
22:52let me know down below
22:53in the comments section
22:53which guys think of Eva Lynn,
22:55whether you've had the chance
22:56to pick this one up
22:56for yourself
22:57or if this is one
22:58that if it does go back
22:59in stock on Mondo's site,
23:01you would like to add this one
23:02to your shelf space.
23:03If you guys did enjoy this video,
23:04you can do it a solid
23:05and throw it a like.
23:06You guys want to stick around
23:06for more so?
23:07I certainly hope so.
23:09There's going to be more videos,
23:10by the way,
23:10coming your way
23:11if you need your fix
23:12for Mondo in the meantime.
23:13Just recently,
23:14we actually looked at
23:15the Batman animated series
23:16Clayface.
23:16We've also looked at
23:17Peter Venkman and Sam Hain.
23:19I know that's not really
23:20the name that he goes by,
23:21but if you guys are interested
23:22and would certainly like
23:23to check out the things
23:24that I've looked at
23:24in the past for Mondo
23:25popping up at the very end
23:27of this video
23:27will be a playlist.
23:28Feel free to give that a look.
23:30As always, guys,
23:30thanks for watching.
23:31See you guys next time.
23:33We'll see you next time.
