02:16and Hunter Lawrence, because honestly
02:18all three of the riders between Prado

02:23had terrible first moto, so the overall
02:25is practically assured
02:26if he just stays toward the front, so how will
02:28he play it? Yeah, and I think if you're Hunter Lawrence
02:31obviously you wanna win, but
02:32what you can't do, that three points that separates
02:34first to second, as long as Jet
02:37isn't winning and you end up to that point
02:39it helps you out, so it's
02:41yeah, he doesn't want anybody to win, but
02:42Jorge might not be a bad thing to
02:44Hunter Lawrence out front
02:46considering the weighted points in the map
02:51and you can see at the moment
02:52it'd be an eight point lead, and a title

03:14it's something that he's gonna have to get used to
03:15and he took it off today, so it is a change
03:18probably a pretty big change for him

03:22he'll realize he has that support on that ankle
03:24maybe it'll allow him to be able to charge
03:25and see if he can start pushing back up towards the 96
03:28to get us more comfortable

03:36putting some better lap times together
03:38this could get spicy, Deegan

03:42of Hunter Lawrence

03:46and we don't want to forget
03:48the emotions at some point, if Hunter
03:50stays where he's at, then you got that

03:59it's gonna be the first time he's in this position

04:32you don't want to deal with Deegan for sure
04:33and then second of all, Jet's not that far back
04:36and this, these riders are the buffer
04:38that Jet would need if he could somehow ramp this up
04:41yeah that's why I go back to even with Hunter
04:43what he kind of wants is
04:44he's gonna get passed
04:46you almost don't want to hold up Hayden Deegan
04:48and I know at the end of the day
04:51who knows with this dynamic with the family
04:53but you almost want Hayden to go around you
04:55and keep pulling away
04:56and then you just stay
04:57either ahead or behind Jet Lawrence
04:59yeah
05:00problem becomes if Jet catches these guys
05:02and then they're all closed
05:03then you got a map problem
05:04but nonetheless

07:25but again more mistakes from him

07:30but you can only expect that

07:38to when you don't have pressure

14:28I don't think he's going to do anything
14:30to really try to attack his brother
14:32by taking him out
14:34so Hunter's pretty confident on that
14:37yes and that is perhaps the biggest difference
14:39in seeing brothers battling for this title
14:41you don't even expect that they're going to try to do anything
14:43to knock each other down
14:45and that might be the only major difference

16:12now this one point even if Tomac were to get to

16:17I do not believe that would be enough
16:19because first of all
16:20that would only be one point
16:21that would move the gap back down to one
16:23and Hunter would also hold the tiebreaker
16:25so he's going to need a disaster here
16:27yeah but you got to believe
16:29somehow Eli's able to catch Hunter
16:31which I do believe
16:32we talk about it every
16:33every race
16:34and the guys out front
16:35the next few laps
16:36or the next you know
16:37lap and a half is really important
16:38well I think that same thing applies to Hunter Lawrence
16:40where he's at
16:41he's got to keep that gap from Eli
16:43because if Eli catches him
16:44he's got RJ right behind him
16:45and he's got Cooper Webb
16:46it doesn't stop there
16:48so you got to assume
16:50Eli's catching him
16:51these guys are coming with him
16:52which then that changes a lot of things here
16:55yeah if it starts putting it in range
16:58which it would
16:59that is a pack there for sure
17:01well we don't really know the extent of the injury
17:04I guess we can say we know it's enough of an injury to credit him
17:07for coming back out
17:08and giving you everything he's got
17:11and honestly there's been so much focus on the heartbreak for Hunter
17:14in these championships
17:15to think of how far Jett has come
17:18working through the injury
17:19trying to deal with it all year
17:21only to have it go south on him again
17:23with the title on the line
17:27this is probably an underrated
17:28pretty effort by him right here
17:30no it is
17:31but I think at the end of the day
17:32Jett actually looks a lot better
17:34right now
17:35maybe the ankle and that support
17:36as I said he's feeling good
17:38but yeah
17:38I'm sure he'll be disappointed to get hurt
17:41at the last race
17:42considering you just came back from all that
17:43but I can tell you the emotions
17:45it won't nearly hit as hard for Jett
17:48as it would for Hunter to be in this spot
17:50I think this summer even though he might not win his championship
17:54depending on what happens
17:55Jett that is
17:55it's still a great summer
17:57he's back
17:58we know he's healthy
17:59we know he's still at the Jett Lawrence
18:01and he'll only get better
18:02they got a new motorcycle coming out
18:03so all the things look good for Jett
18:05so emotionally
18:06he'll be just as happy for his brother
18:08but we know the champ is here
18:10whether he wins this thing or not
18:11if he goes after Deegan
18:13and he does look better now
18:14than he has earlier in the race
18:16that would be two points to the good
18:18if he could somehow get there
18:19that's a long way up the track
18:21that will put them in a tie
18:22but Hunter holds the tiebreaker
18:24he's won more

18:28and Hunter's closing back to him
18:30yeah but truly the pressure is on Hunter
18:33at the moment
18:34because he knows
18:35yeah they actually are catching Hayden at the moment
18:39but if Hunter goes down

18:43and we've seen the mistakes that's happened
18:45this track is getting really tricky
18:47out there
18:48slippery
18:49pressure's on Hunter Lawrence to rod this thing off

18:54there's only about 8 seconds
18:55between 5th and 8th
18:57so if the dam were to burst
19:00they'd come flooding through

19:08I just want to pass Jett

19:13I think what you're going to see
19:14if Hunter if he gets close to him
19:16he's going to pass him
19:17and normally in the championship
19:18you would just let him
19:19we saw Cole Davies
19:21and most of these guys
19:21they don't want to get around
19:22especially the only thing with Hunter
19:24he's got the championship
19:25he doesn't need this pass
19:26but I think that momentum
19:28would make him feel a lot more comfortable
19:29he's headed to one
19:31and continue to move forward
19:33if he'll try to make this pass
19:34if he can
19:35and they're no longer closing on Deegan
19:37now it's between the two of them
19:38this is the battle we expected to see
19:40and maybe we thought it would look like this
19:41but it is totally different
19:43because they're in 3rd and 4th
19:45neither one having a great day
19:47you could argue
19:47probably both having their worst days of the season
19:49right here
19:51but they're still battling for position
19:53oh they almost collide

20:00versus just sitting here in this position
20:03and as long as Tomac doesn't close down
20:05which they're pulling away from Tomac now

20:12well I think by pushing forward
20:14and getting around Jett
20:15I think it keeps you focused on
20:17what's happening at the moment
20:18he sticks behind him
20:20I do feel like Hunter's faster than Jett
20:22so being stuck behind him
20:24is going to slow his pace up
20:26I think allowing him to be able to get ahead of Jett
20:28and being more comfortable to know
20:30I have a little bit of buffer
20:31if something happens
20:32I go down
20:33I'm ahead of my brother
20:34I'll have a chance
20:35so I think it just helps him
20:37be more focused on this race
20:40and finishing this thing off
20:41if he stays where he's at
20:42it's going to be difficult for him
20:44but as the time goes on
20:46a couple more laps
20:47this gap stays between him and Hunter
20:49that stays the same
20:50Hunter and Eli
20:52then I think Hunter would just stick back here
20:54and just ride this championship out
21:00and then a few more mistakes from Hunter
21:03and Jett pulls a gap on him

21:06potentially separating Hunter Lawrence

21:13not the way anyone thought it would play out today
21:18but it still might play out in favor of the 96

21:26uncharacteristic
21:27like for him
21:28making the mistakes
21:28but then he'll close
21:29right back in on Jett
21:31so that's why going back
