00:00We're the Golden Kobe family.
00:01In this series, we're going to attempt to rescue 30 dogs in 30 days with your help.
00:07But we have to be quick because the first dogs we will rescue are going to be at our house
00:11soon.
00:12Who's the first one?
00:14Hello.
00:14Becca!
00:17Gosh, she's so much bigger than what I remember.
00:19I know.
00:20JJ, here's your next one.
00:22Oh, next one.
00:22Hey, sweet girl.
00:24Hello, Ivy girl.
00:26Oh, look at her tail.
00:28Good girl.
00:30It's okay.
00:31Hello.
00:32Good girl.
00:33Here's her mum.
00:35Take a pair around your wrist.
00:37As soon as she notices, look.
00:39Come on, girls.
00:40In you come.
00:41Come on, Ivy.
00:41Come on, Ivy.
00:42Oh, Jockey.
00:44Jockey.
00:45So we're having a bit of trouble getting Jockey out of the van because she's scared, bless her.
00:49Good girl.
00:52In she goes.
00:53Thank you so much.
00:55Oh, she's wearing the pine.
00:57Come on, Jockey.
00:58Oh, yeah.
01:00Okay, so we have got all four dogs safely into the garden.
01:05This is Becca, right?
01:07She's around one years old, so she's still a puppy.
01:11Clearly very brave.
01:12This is Ivy?
01:14Yep.
01:15This is Ivy.
01:16She's about nine months old.
01:17And as you can see, super, super brave.
01:20Super, super affectionate.
01:22Yeah, this is Lola.
01:23And what's amazing is Lola is actually Ivy's mum.
01:27And so what's really nice about that is that, you know, they're obviously like really, really
01:31comfortable together.
01:32And then lastly, this one here is Jockey.
01:35Jockey is a little bit scared, a lot more cautious than these because they're a puppy.
01:39Jockey, I think, is about three or four years old.
01:42Ivy's eight months old.
01:43Lola, the mum, is about one and a half, two years old.
01:46And then Becca around one.
01:47We've kept the leads on them at the moment, just in case they escape.
01:51When you first rescue dogs, they're huge flight risks.
01:53Good girl.
01:54Oh, she's scared.
01:55And so we're just going to let them explore the garden before we introduce them to Kobe and Moki.
02:01Oh, Ivy.
02:08They're all having a good explore of the garden.
02:11Hi, mama.
02:12Hi, puppy.
02:12Ivy and mum.
02:13Oh, and Becca.
02:15They're all doing their business, going to the toilet.
02:17Nice.
02:18We'll give you some privacy, Jockey.
02:20These three younger ones are exploring.
02:24You all right there, Jockey?
02:26So in the next 30 days, we're going to be uploading five videos a week, Monday to Friday.
02:31And with your help, we're going to rescue 30 dogs.
02:34I'll explain later on in the video how we're actually going to get to that 30 number.
02:38Before they meet our crazy Doberman Moki and our jealous golden retriever, Kobe,
02:42let me just show you.
02:44Let me just show you everything we've done in the house to make sure the dog's welfare is our number
02:49one priority because we've got another two dogs upstairs.
02:52So six dogs in one home that isn't big is quite a lot.
02:55Okay.
02:56So we have water bowl number one.
02:57We have got water bowl number two and we have got water bowl number three.
03:01So we've set up these crates and Jockey is going to have her own to be able to give us
03:06some space to
03:06decompress.
03:07Becca, Ivy and Lola are going to have a crate here and you can see they're kind of like connected.
03:11So they've essentially just got like two crates together.
03:14We figured since they're from the same shelter, they're probably going to want to be together
03:17in their full sofa.
03:18We have got a cover on the sofa because it's going to get crazy.
03:21Also put one of our other sofas back here just to give us more space.
03:25You can see here, we've actually got some baby gates, which we can kind of like section the house
03:29off in case dogs disagree.
03:31We've got an air purifier just because it might stink in here with all the dogs.
03:36And we've also got camera number one, camera number two and camera number three.
03:43So that basically we can keep an eye on the dogs to make sure they're okay.
03:45Bunch of food bowls, bunch of food and that's what we have so far.
03:49So let me explain how this is actually going to work.
03:52We're not going to be rescuing 30 dogs because in all honesty, that would be irresponsible.
03:56Given the size of the house and the space that we have, the welfare of 30 dogs together
04:02just wouldn't be very good.
04:03We've already rescued four dogs and we'll be rescuing another four dogs in two weeks time.
04:08So that's eight dogs.
04:10But we've also gone to Happy Shelter, which is the charity that we're going to be working with
04:14more on them in a little bit.
04:15And we filmed with dogs that need your help and need your support.
04:18And you guessed it, we did this with 22 dogs.
04:21So if my math is correct, that means we have 30 dogs that we have the opportunity to all help
04:26out.
04:27More on how we can do this a little bit later.
04:30Okay. So, oh, Jockey. Okay.
04:34Well, we had this, okay.
04:36We had this little thing set up so we could put all the dogs in there to meet one by
04:40one,
04:41but not surprisingly, they figured out how to escape and now they're going nuts.
04:47So we did have a fence set up behind us to try and get Jockey behind it,
04:51but she doesn't want to go there and we don't want to force her.
04:54Good girl.
04:55She's very submissive and I'm sure she'll be fine.
04:59So what we're going to do now is we're going to go and get our crazy Dobber Momokey
05:03and get her to just meet one-on-one.
05:10Oh, appeasement licks.
05:16I'm going to shut this for a second.
05:18Good girl, Jockey.
05:21Good girl.
05:24Oh, wow. I thought she'd be good.
05:28Oh, she keeps giving like appeasement licks to her.
05:31That's adorable.
05:32Well done.
05:33Yeah, she's going to be your best friend.
05:35Moki's getting a good sniff.
05:36Oh, bless. That is so cute.
05:39Also, interesting how they're not barking.
05:41Good girl, Moki. Well done.
05:44Well, to be honest, because she's fine with her,
05:46I'm just going to go and get our jealous, very jealous,
05:49God of Achiever Kobi.
05:55Oh, the appeasement licks are adorable.
05:59Oh, bless her.
06:00She's so submissive.
06:02Isn't she?
06:02Oh, Kobi likes her, doesn't he?
06:05I reckon Kobi might fancier.
06:06Look at him. He's gone all shy.
06:07So, the plan was to get them to all meet one by one,
06:10because they're all from the same shelter.
06:12Obviously, we didn't want them gagging up on Kobi and Moki,
06:15but after seeing what they're like, oh.
06:18He said you made a jump.
06:20But after seeing what they're like,
06:21I think we could just get them all to meet.
06:23I think so.
06:24At the same time.
06:25Yeah.
06:25Ready, dogs?
06:26Come on.
06:26Come on, Moki out.
06:27Moki, come.
06:28Moki, come.
06:28Moki, come out.
06:29Come on, Moki out.
06:30Come on, come on, Becca.
06:34What's good about this?
06:36Becca's not sure.
06:37Aw, she's gone all shy.
06:38Right, we're going to keep Kobi and Moki away from here.
06:40And we'll just let others go.
06:41Oh, there you go.
06:41I was about to say,
06:42we'll let Becca come out with her own time.
06:46I'm really surprised that Becca's gone all scared.
06:48Look at her, bless her.
06:49Aw, she's wagging her tail, though.
06:51Aw, look at the tail.
06:52She's tucked her tail under.
06:55Aw, bless her.
06:57Well done.
06:58Aw.
06:59These two are just, look.
07:00They really act like mum and daughter, don't they?
07:02Yeah.
07:03I wonder how long until this one starts to come out of show
07:05and get a bit more comfortable.
07:06I'm really surprised because of how she was before they came.
07:10Her little tail wags with her tail tucked is the cutest thing.
07:14Well, what's great about this is the fact that we're going to be uploading every single day.
07:19Well, Monday to Friday for the next 30 days.
07:22So you'll be able to see the progression literally as it happens with Becca.
07:25Aw, bless her.
07:27Because she's now decided she's a bit scared of all the dogs.
07:29I'm very confident that at the end of the 30 days, she's going to be out of her shell a
07:34lot more.
07:34Honestly, I'd probably give her four or five days.
07:37Come on, yeah.
07:40Oh, brave girl.
07:43Wow.
07:45Feeling braver.
07:48Look at Kobe.
07:49Kobe's like, remember me?
07:50Oh, look, you both getting bum rubs.
07:52Oh, that's good.
07:53Look.
07:54Oh, well done.
07:57No jockey.
07:58Oh, Kobe, come on.
08:00Yes, we know you're jealous.
08:01Kobe, come here.
08:03Okay.
08:03I'm still your dad.
08:05Hmm?
08:06Don't get all jealous now.
08:08Good boy.
08:09Hello, Beck.
08:10Hello, Ivy.
08:12What's wrong?
08:14He's getting rough for jealousy.
08:16Yeah, so I didn't know what?
08:17I shouldn't pet you because the jealous Gordon Grasby is so cute.
08:20Good boy.
08:23Oh, no.
08:24That's jealous, boy.
08:25Oh, Beck is feeling unsure.
08:26Oh, look at him.
08:30Her ears go up.
08:33Good boy.
08:34Oh, he likes that.
08:36Oh, good, look.
08:38She's having a good sniff.
08:39Okay, so now all the dogs have met, we're going to progress them into the house
08:42and they can explore everything for the first time.
08:45So, what we're going to do is just open this up again so the dogs can come into here.
08:51Because a lot of the time, for some reason, dogs are scared of this conservatory.
08:54I think they just don't know what it is.
08:55And then we're going to open this door into the house and they can basically just come in
08:58in their own time.
08:59Oh, they're coming in.
09:01Oh, my God.
09:07Welcome, dogs.
09:09To your new home.
09:11Oh, my God.
09:13Jockey's scared.
09:13Becca's being really good.
09:15Oh, Jockey's a bit scared.
09:16Bless her.
09:21She just hit her head.
09:23Oh, Jockey.
09:24So, it looks like we've got one dog that is a bit scared to come in.
09:28We've got Moki, who's being an absolute crackhead and is getting way too excited.
09:34Hey, off.
09:35Go on.
09:35This is why we put the cover on here.
09:39Oh, Jockey's scared.
09:40Becca's being really good.
09:42She's being brave.
09:43Oh, look at Jockey.
09:44Oh, the boyfriend came.
09:47Moki's trying to play.
09:48Moki's so excited to have this many dogs here.
09:50Look at her.
09:51Moki, no.
09:52She's trying to pour her.
09:53Moki, no.
09:54Stop trying to pour her.
09:55Moki, no.
09:56Okay, Moki's getting a bit too excited.
09:58Moki, enough.
09:59Jockey.
10:00Well, I'm glad we put a cover on the sofa.
10:02Come on, Jockey.
10:03Moki, no.
10:04No, no.
10:04Come on, Jockey, off.
10:05Come on.
10:06Come on, off.
10:06Come on.
10:08Moki, out.
10:09Becca?
10:11Where's Becca?
10:14Whoops.
10:15Come on.
10:17I accidentally closed the door and this one's come upstairs.
10:21Oh my god.
10:23I locked her upstairs.
10:24Jockey.
10:25I'm sorry.
10:26I've just stepped on Jockey's poor Max and now she's really scared.
10:29I feel so sad.
10:31I'm not going to follow her.
10:32Jockey's found our safe space behind her.
10:35Okay, we have put something on the sofa to try and stop them jumping up all the time.
10:40Kobe's chilling out with his girlfriend.
10:41Okay, so the whole reason we're doing this and the goal for this entire series
10:47is to try and raise £30,000 for Happy Shelter.
10:50So we've got donation rewards every time we hit a target and you can see what that reward is.
10:56We're going to put them in the description for you.
10:58If we hit our £30,000 target, then we're going to take all of these dogs.
11:02And by the end of the series, trust me, there's going to be even more dogs than this.
11:06And we're going to try and rent like a van or something.
11:09We're going to have to figure out what we can put them in.
11:11And we're going to take them to like an enclosed field where we can basically all just let them off.
11:16And they can just run free and I'm sure probably have the time of their lives.
11:20The link is in the description to donate to Happy Shelter.
11:24And if you can't afford to donate to Happy Shelter, that's fine.
11:27Because you can donate a penny by clicking that subscribe button and subscribing to us on YouTube.
11:33You can donate another penny by following us on Instagram.
11:37We're going to be posting every single day there.
11:39And then you can donate another penny by adding us on Snapchat.
11:44So that's three pennies that you can donate just by clicking buttons.
11:48We've rescued most of our dogs from Happy Shelter.
11:51They're an amazing charity.
11:53And you'll be seeing a lot more of their dogs throughout the series as well.
11:57So let's go to Happy Shelter.
11:58And we're going to show you one of the craziest transformations in a dog that we've ever seen.
12:03Okay, so this is the first dog.
12:07His name ironically is Happy, even though he isn't massively happy today.
12:11Oh, his food's in there.
12:13Yeah, don't go near it.
12:13So I think he's protecting it a little bit.
12:15What is Happy is between four to five years old, his transformation is absolutely insane.
12:20Because he used to look like this.
12:27And now is completely unrecognisable.
12:30Every donation helps support dogs just like Happy.
12:32Helps give him food and also Helho.
12:35Also helps Happy Shelter transform other dogs that have been through things just like him.
12:39Because what he looks like now is just amazing.
12:42And look how happy he is.
12:44Happy, come on.
12:44Come on, Happy.
12:45Oh, there he is.
12:49Good boy, hello.
12:51Come on, hello.
12:52There he is.
12:54And this is why he's called Happy.
12:58Good boy, yes.
12:59He proper leans on you.
13:00Good boy, yes.
13:03She's like, Andy.
13:04Yes, Andy.
13:05Good boy.
13:07He makes Mokey look tiny.
13:08I know, you're a big boy.
13:10Oh, big boy.
13:11He's not even doing his full stretch.
13:15Hello, Happy.
13:16He's gorgeous.
13:17Hello.
13:18Oh, look at him.
13:25Oh, look at him.
13:27Oh, look at him.
13:31Oh, look at him.
13:32Look at him.
13:33Look at him.
13:33Wait for him, Mokey.
13:34Look out.
13:38He wants to play.
13:40Kobe and Mokey are going absolutely nuts.
13:42And Jocky is just completely unbothered.
13:45You all right, Jocky?
13:48Mokey, not into her.
13:50Oh, she didn't even tell her off.
13:52Poor thing.
13:53Oh, she really likes you, doesn't she?
13:55Yeah.
13:56Wants to trust.
13:57Yeah.
13:58And all of these dogs are just going nuts.
14:01Becca wants to get involved in their playing, I think.
14:03She's feeling a bit shy.
14:04Yeah, she's not too sure how yet.
14:06Oh, she hurt.
14:07Oh, look at her.
14:08Go on, Mokey.
14:08Get her.
14:10Becca, mate, you're going in the wrong direction.
14:12Oh, there they go.
14:17Oh, my God.
14:19Mokey, slow it down.
14:21Oh, my God.
14:23Oh, my God.
14:24Mokey's going nuts.
14:25Slow it down.
14:26What we want to do is give them a bit of positive association with their crate.
14:30So to be honest, I'm just going to get in it.
14:32I think they'll follow me.
14:34Come on, dogs.
14:35I feel like maybe you should have done this.
14:36Yeah.
14:37Either way, they're in there.
14:40Hello.
14:41It's working.
14:43So we're going to try our best to actually get them in here tonight.
14:46Hello, Ivy.
14:48Mum and daughter are the cutest thing.
14:50Oh, she's got all tired.
14:54Good girl.
14:55Well, this is exactly why we wanted them to share a crate.
14:58Come on, Becca.
14:58Becca.
15:00Oh, Becca.
15:01Good girl.
15:03Oh, my God.
15:03This actually worked.
15:05Even Jocky's excited.
15:08She keeps looking.
15:11Is it funny?
15:14So you can see Jocky is still a little bit unsure of me.
15:18I'm not going to force it, obviously.
15:19Come on, Jocky.
15:22Which is fine.
15:23Obviously, they've literally been here for like two, three hours.
15:25And they can't all be as crazy as them two.
15:31Can I put this on you?
15:32Yeah?
15:34Yeah?
15:35Oh, you're not sure.
15:36All right.
15:37Use a petter and then try and yeah.
15:39Good girl.
15:40Oh, well done.
15:41Oh.
15:42She's very submissive.
15:44She seemed a bit uncomfortable with the harness.
15:45So we are going to take it off.
15:49Oh.
15:49Becca.
15:50Becca.
15:50Hey, hey.
15:52Ah, Ella.
15:53No, no, no, no, no.
15:55Out.
15:56No, no, no, no.
15:57Out.
15:58How's the chat?
15:59No.
15:59She prowls up.
16:00Right, you.
16:02They're all loving having multiple water bowls, which is great.
16:06They're probably quite thirsty because they've spent the last two days in the back of the van
16:09coming from Macedonia.
16:11So when they're in the van, it's obviously quite distressing for them because they're in a crate,
16:15but they do get stop offs to go to the toilet and stuff.
16:18But because they're quite stressed, they don't think they drink and eat much,
16:21which is why we wanted multiple water bowls.
16:23Okay, so me and Ella are going to be eating our dinner for the first time.
16:27And I've got no idea how this is going to go with the dogs.
16:30No.
16:31Nah.
16:32We're saying nah because they're from Macedonia and that's how you say no in that country.
16:36They haven't actually had dinner yet because we're waiting for their stomachs to settle
16:39after being in the back of a van for a couple of days because they have come from Macedonia.
16:44So to be fair, they probably are a bit hungry, but they're not doing too bad.
16:48Oh, no.
16:50Nah.
16:51I mean, cheers.
16:52Cheers gently.
16:55Mm-mm.
16:57Nah.
16:58Nah.
16:59Nah.
17:00Okay, so we've got all of the dogs' bowls laid out.
17:03But it's time to actually feed them.
17:05It's going to be fun trying to figure out where to put six different dogs so they don't fight
17:09when they eat their food.
17:10So I'm going to fill all these bowls up.
17:12But the beauty about YouTube is all I need to do is click
17:15and all the bowls are going to be full with their food.
17:18How good was that?
17:19Did that turn out good, do you reckon?
17:21Yeah.
17:22Oh, good.
17:22Okay, this crazy contraption that we have right now.
17:25So we've got these two crates because we're going to be putting these two small dogs in there.
17:30We're going to put Jockey and Becca in one of these and then Kobe and Moki go outside.
17:34So we're trying to put food into their crate basically to just give them some positive
17:38association with the crate.
17:39But with this many dogs, it's just hard.
17:41So let's see how this goes.
17:43I think we start with these two.
17:44Yeah.
17:45Okay, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to put dog in the crate.
17:48Good girl.
17:49Dog in the crate.
17:51Good girl.
17:52Right, wait.
17:52There you go.
17:55There you go.
17:58All right.
17:58And that's the positive.
17:59Oh, Becca's come, which is good.
18:01Come on, Becca.
18:03Good girl.
18:04Let's get your bum in.
18:05Get your bum in.
18:06Be gentle.
18:07Good girl.
18:08Let me try and get Jockey.
18:11What am I saying with an accent?
18:12Jockey.
18:13Jockey.
18:14Come on, Jockey.
18:15Jockey.
18:16I think you do it because she likes you.
18:18All right.
18:19Put her in the conservatory, maybe.
18:21Ella's found a way to transport her.
18:23Good girl.
18:24Come on, good girl.
18:25Good girl.
18:27Come on.
18:28Come on, Jockey.
18:28No, Moki, out.
18:30Oh, Moki's being so annoying.
18:32Maybe put it on the floor yet.
18:34There, that's good.
18:35You've got to remember, she's used to be fed outside.
18:37Yeah.
18:37On the grass.
18:37Good girl.
18:38All right, can you go and shut the conservatory?
18:39Yeah.
18:40Okay, we're not going to try and train Jockey right now because it's a bit hard to do.
18:44So, last but not least, Kobe and Moki can eat outside together.
18:51Sit.
18:52Good boy.
18:53Wait.
18:54Now, Kobe, go.
18:55Yes.
18:57Good dogs.
18:58And that is how you feed six dogs.
19:02Kobe and Moki are playing and Becca really wants to get involved.
19:08She finds them really funny.
19:10Oh, she's got little barks.
19:14We're getting into the evening time and the dogs are finally starting to feel
19:18how tired they are from their two days of traveling.
19:22Ah, Jockey's literally falling asleep.
19:26She is the cutest thing.
19:29So, we're getting towards the end of the day.
19:31And although you probably shouldn't have favorites with dogs,
19:34I think my favorite so far is Jockey.
19:37She's so tired, bless her.
19:38And although Jockey is obviously quite scared,
19:41it's because before she came to Happy Shelter,
19:44she was actually at a shelter where sadly she was abused by the people that worked there.
19:49So, that kind of explains why she's the way that she is.
19:53Of course, these two are just super, super friendly,
19:55but the dogs that you can really transform are always my favorite
20:00because I'm sure by the end of this 30-day series,
20:03she's going to be a completely different dog.
20:06Hello, yes.
20:07You don't need much work, do you?
20:08Me and Ella are already super, super tired,
20:12and it's going to be a very long 30 days.
20:15But, of course, we are doing this for a really, really good cause.
20:19And tomorrow, we're going to be bringing in a professional dog trainer
20:21who's going to be helping us all throughout the series.
20:24Oh, tomorrow is going to be fun.
20:26I'll see you then.
