00:00She's the fluffiest and maybe the cutest dog we've ever rescued but when she met our dogs
00:05she wasn't so sure.
00:07Overbear her.
00:09Yes.
00:10No don't say yes to sure.
00:11This is Elsa, a 13 week old chow chow.
00:14To understand why she needed rescuing and how she's going to integrate with our pack
00:18of four dogs, we need to start at the very beginning, the moment we first picked her
00:24up.
00:25So this is Elsa, we have just rescued her and she literally looks like a real life
00:29teddy bear.
00:30She is the cutest thing.
00:33I think we keep her.
00:34Yeah, Ella wants to keep every single dog that we get.
00:37So we've literally just picked up Elsa, we're going to drive home with her and let her get
00:41used to her new surroundings.
00:44So we have arrived home with Elsa, we're going to bring her in and put her straight into the
00:49garden in case she needs the toilet.
00:51We've got our two rescues, Louis and Jockey in the lounge.
00:54And our two dogs, Kovia and Moki, waiting patiently upstairs, so Elsa has some time to herself
00:59before meeting all of them.
01:01Okay.
01:03And put her down.
01:06Good girl, Elsa.
01:07Oh, she's a bit scared.
01:10How's your little toes going?
01:12You can explore, you are tiny.
01:16Good girl, yeah, well done, brave girl.
01:19Although Elsa is still young, it's important to remember she's just met us and this is
01:24an entirely new home for her.
01:27So we don't expect her to be brave, but she surprised us.
01:30Welcome to our very muddy garden.
01:32She's having a good explore, not very scared, which is good.
01:35She needs a bit of a wash, as you can see.
01:38Oh, a bit close and personal there.
01:41So we're just going to let her explore the garden first, get used to all of the smells
01:45before she meets our two rescues first.
01:47And then she'll meet Moki and Kobe.
01:51It'll be interesting to see how our two rescues, Louis and Jockey are, because they're quite
01:55scared themselves.
01:57So Jockey is really unsure of everything and so is Louis.
02:00So it'll be interesting to see how they react to a new dog.
02:03So we've never had a Chow Chow before, but Chow Chows are one of the oldest dog breeds
02:10around.
02:10So they originated in Northern China more than 2000 years ago, which is insane.
02:16Apparently they're often compared to cats.
02:18They're independent, proud and selective about affection.
02:21We'll have to see about that.
02:22It's quite interesting when you read up about a dog's breed traits, because you know, they
02:27can be like completely different to what they actually say.
02:29So she's starting to look a lot more comfortable now.
02:32So we are going to go and get our two scared rescues, Louis and Jockey.
02:38They're really good with dogs.
02:39Hopefully this all goes okay.
02:45All right.
02:46So she's growling.
02:48What's that?
02:49Elsa?
02:49Yeah.
02:50Oh, so Louis's scared.
02:53Jockey's.
02:54And look at Louis.
02:55Hi, Jockey.
02:56Go to Louis, look.
02:56I think Louis wants to say hello, but he's like not so sure.
03:00Good girl, Elsa.
03:01Well done.
03:02Come on, Jockey girl.
03:04Come on, have a sniff.
03:05Good girl.
03:06Elsa, look.
03:08Good girl, Jockey.
03:12Oh, that is adorable.
03:14Well done, Jockey.
03:16Jockey's being really good with her.
03:17I think this is probably the perfect first two dogs for her to meet.
03:20Louis, bless him, just keeps running away.
03:23And then Jockey just isn't that interested.
03:25Obviously, Kobe and Moki are going to be a bit more intense than this.
03:29So this is a perfect start for her.
03:31Louis hasn't even had a sniff yet.
03:33Louis's a bit stressed, bless him, but he loves his pets.
03:35Come on, girl.
03:37Good girl.
03:38Come on, girl.
03:39Good girl.
03:40You want to say hello, Louis?
03:42Look.
03:44Oh, look.
03:47Whoa.
03:48Oh, my God.
03:49I'm getting old, my niece.
03:50Okay, we are going to go get our crazy doberman with Moki.
03:54She's going to be a lot more intense than these two.
03:56So let's see how that goes.
03:58Oh, my God.
03:59All right.
04:00Here's the crazy one.
04:01Oh, look at Elsa.
04:02Elsa's sitting nice and chilled out.
04:04Oh, look.
04:07Moki, sit.
04:08Sit.
04:09Good girl.
04:10Elsa's obviously quite scared.
04:12So we don't want Moki to overbear her.
04:15Moki, chill out.
04:17Elsa.
04:18Just leave her.
04:19I was going to pet her.
04:22It's okay.
04:23You're trying to pet her with a giant dog.
04:25I don't think she's sure.
04:27She wants to say hello.
04:29And let Moki go.
04:30Okay.
04:30All right.
04:31I'm going to let her go.
04:32Gently.
04:34Gently.
04:36Oh.
04:37I've never seen her frozen before.
04:39Go, Moki.
04:41Gently.
04:42Yes.
04:42No, don't say yes because she'll, yeah.
04:44Yeah, she just wants to, she was waiting for you.
04:47Good girl.
04:48Being super gentle because I think she can tell that Elsa doesn't want to be pet.
04:52I'd be pet.
04:54She can tell that Elsa doesn't want to meet her yet.
04:57Wow, I'm really surprised.
04:59So we want to take this meeting nice and slow because Elsa's obviously unsure.
05:05Well done, Mokes.
05:07That's good, isn't it?
05:08Oh, there we go.
05:10Wow, she's doing so good, isn't she?
05:12Even Jockey, yeah.
05:13Yeah.
05:14Oh, look at Elsa.
05:14Elsa just did a little tail wag to her.
05:17Don't be overbearing, Moki.
05:19Good girl.
05:19Well done.
05:21Elsa's doing really good.
05:22You've got to remember, she's only 13 weeks.
05:24So this is quite overbearing for her.
05:25And she's still got one more dog to meet.
05:27Good girl, Moki.
05:28Well done.
05:29Wow.
05:29Can't believe how good she's been.
05:30It'll be interesting to see what she's like in the house because obviously she hasn't even
05:34gone into the house yet.
05:35Yeah.
05:35And so, of course, it's all the new smells.
05:37It's where she'll be settling down.
05:38So, the Moki meeting, I couldn't believe how well behaved she was.
05:42So we are now going to go and get our lovable but jealous golden retriever, Kobe.
05:48Go on, Kobe.
06:09Kobe's a bit of an expert at this now.
06:11She doesn't care.
06:17Kobe doesn't really know how to read her yet.
06:19He's a bit confused because she's just not reacting.
06:24She's 13.
06:26She's 13.
06:27Oh, you're scaring her.
06:2913 weeks, Kobe.
06:30You're scaring her, Kobe.
06:32She's 13 weeks.
06:34Oh.
06:35Oh.
06:36Oh.
06:36Did she like you?
06:38Oh.
06:39She's very confident.
06:40Yeah, isn't she?
06:41I was just about to say that.
06:42For a 13-week puppy.
06:44I know.
06:4413-week puppy surrounded by a bunch of dogs.
06:47So we're going to let Elsa get to know her new pack before trying to show her inside the house.
06:53Jocky's being really good.
06:54Jocky's a gentle soul.
06:56Louie's still a bit unsure, bless him.
06:58I swear it feels like we've always just got so many dogs.
07:01It's basically a farm.
07:02I know.
07:03Wow.
07:04We've literally got so many rescues now.
07:07That's because we're on a mission to rescue as many dogs as possible.
07:10Hitting that subscribe button helps us continue with our mission.
07:14I think Ella's bonded with this one.
07:16Do you know what?
07:16We've been doing this for such a long time.
07:18You'd think giving them up would be easier.
07:20No.
07:21And it gets harder every single time.
07:23So now Elsa has met all the dogs and that went as good as it probably could have possibly gone.
07:28We are now going to transition her into going into the house for the very first time.
07:34We are going to open the conservatory first and basically just let her come in in her own time.
07:39We won't force her to do anything and we'll open the door to the lounge as well.
07:44By the way, our house is an absolute mess.
07:47The cleaning is coming tomorrow.
07:48We've got so many dogs.
07:49It's embarrassing showing you guys the house in this state, but it is what it is.
07:53Sorry.
07:54So what's interesting is this is just like a completely new environment and obviously she's comfortable in the garden, but
07:59she's not comfortable to come into here yet.
08:00We opened the conservatory assuming she'd come in with all the dogs, but she's too scared.
08:07So all of the dogs are currently in.
08:11But poor little Elsa.
08:13Still outside.
08:14Granted, it is a completely new place.
08:16We rescued Elsa from a home here in the UK.
08:19Unfortunately, their housing situation changed, so they had to give her up.
08:23Although she seems super brave, she is still a young pup and this is her third home.
08:27But we did manage to get her inside, so let's see how she does.
08:31So she is in.
08:32Let's see how she reacts to everything.
08:35Good girl.
08:36She's a bit unsure at the moment.
08:38A little bit scared.
08:41Why don't you go sit with her because she likes you?
08:44Wow, look at Louis being brave.
08:46Oh, Moki did not like that smell.
08:48Now it's time to try and get Elsa into the house.
08:52Is she going to be brave enough?
08:54There she goes.
08:56Good girl.
08:56She likes Ella.
08:57She's a brave girl.
08:58So she is in the house.
09:00She's having a good explore.
09:02First time in the house.
09:03She finally made it.
09:04I think she's a little bit scared of me still.
09:06There you go.
09:07Hello, Fluffy.
09:08Look at her fluffy tail.
09:10I think she probably likes Louis and Jockey more because they're more chilled out, which
09:13isn't a surprise.
09:13But I'm sure she'll come out of her shell a bit and feel more confident with these two.
09:19So now Elsa's starting to settle in.
09:21It's time to feed all five dogs.
09:23So we have Kobe and Moki outside.
09:26Yes.
09:26We have got Louis and Jockey in the conservatory.
09:30And then we have got little Elsa here.
09:33I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't eat.
09:36Is she actually going to eat it?
09:38No, I didn't think so.
09:39So probably the reason she's not eating is because she's quite stressed, quite scared.
09:43So it's not a massive surprise, to be honest.
09:45It's normal for puppies to not eat for a few days.
09:48Elsa definitely needs some time to settle in, bless her.
09:51So her first day was coming to an end.
09:53We took her upstairs with us, bought her a bunch of toys and a new bed, gave her a chew,
09:58and she did eventually settle for the night.
10:00But to help Elsa feel more comfortable here, we rescued another puppy.
10:04This adorable boy called King, who's going to prove all the scary looking dog haters wrong.
10:09Be sure to subscribe to see King meet Elsa.
10:12Hope you enjoyed the video.
10:14Elsa was literally the fluffiest dog ever.
