00:00This is Jockey. She's a terrified dog we rescued over three weeks ago and today we're going to
00:06attempt to walk her for the first time but we have to start our day picking up poo and it's
00:11raining. So I've got something hilarious to show you guys and it is Bruno. Just look at this,
00:19look at what Bruno did this morning. Bruno was in the garden and then decided to go absolutely nuts.
00:24He's literally by himself, bless him. You can really see how much he's loving being in a house.
00:29So today we're going to attempt to take Jockey outside for the first time but the biggest
00:34problem we're going to have is getting the harness on her. Dilnaz gives it a go trying to put the
00:39harness over her whilst giving her a treat but you can see Jockey knows exactly what she's trying to
00:44do and she isn't falling for it. So then Ella gave it a go. Jockey has really taken to Ella
00:50and although she's got closer she still wasn't able to put it on. The last thing we want to do
00:55is make Jockey real uncomfortable and traumatise her with walks. So we'll need to work on getting
01:00Jockey used to the harness and unfortunately she won't be going out today but that's fine,
01:05everything is at her own pace. This does mean though that we get to try and take Bruno out again.
01:10He went outside for the first time ever yesterday and had a bit of a scare so let's see how
01:15he does
01:16today. Dilnaz managed to get the harness on him completely fine but when we took him to the door
01:21you can see he was even more cautious today which is completely understandable but he was
01:26eventually brave enough to step outside and try to walk. He then spotted a cat and was super curious
01:40but then a woman was walking quite fast towards him and he got a bit scared. I didn't record the
01:45woman because I would have looked like a weirdo but once she passed he gained some confidence back.
01:50He didn't walk or move much today which is completely fine. He's gotten over what happened yesterday
01:55which is the most important thing and even being out here with cars, new smells and people will do him
02:00the world of good. Now let's go back to the house with all the dogs. Go on Becca, don't let
02:04her win.
02:06Go on Bex. Oh. Oh. Go on Becca. Oh Moki's getting you. Oh Becca don't let her win.
02:15But to be fair Moki I guess is. Oh she's giving it now look at her. So we're so close
02:21to ending our series
02:22and we've fundraised so much money which is amazing but if you cannot afford to fundraise
02:29you can subscribe to us on YouTube to donate a penny, follow us on Instagram to donate another penny
02:35and scan the QR code and donate a third penny by adding us on Snapchat. I honestly cannot believe
02:42that this is coming to an end tomorrow. Like this has been the most insane month of mine and Ella's
02:49lives. Like what we have um like the amount that we have fundraised for Happy Shelter to help all the
02:54dogs that they have there now and of course all the dogs in the future as well is just incredible.
02:59Like you guys are honestly amazing. Thank you all so so much. Me and Ella are literally exhausted.
03:06Like we're super run down not surprisingly. So we're looking forward to having a nice break after this.
03:12But now we're going to go to Happy Shelter to show you this adorable boy. His name is Teddy.
03:19Teddy unfortunately came from that terrible kill shelter that is obviously coming up quite a lot.
03:25So the kill shelter that he was at before was basically a shelter um still based in around here
03:32but they simply just weren't looking after the dogs. Dogs were fighting each other for food.
03:36They weren't getting enough water. The shelter was basically just pocketing all the donations for
03:41themselves and left the dogs to basically fight for their life. So sadly you can see like the markings
03:46on Teddy. You can see that his fur is like not on a lot of places on his body and
03:52sadly it looks like
03:52he's had to fight for his food. But this is exactly why we wanted to come here and why we're
03:56doing this
03:57fundraising series because it's not Teddy's fault that something like that happened to him. And so all
04:02donations will help dogs just like Teddy experience a better life. I'm not going to get too close to him
04:06because I'm not actually sure what he's like with people. You can even see it's kind of hard to see
04:10but like his teeth and everything and he's lived a really tough life lesson but through no fault of his
04:15own. Poor thing. So Dilnes has amazingly given us some huge chews for the dogs. So today is a great
04:24day
04:24for them. Here you go. Because they're going to get their very own chews. Kaya and Jockey are going to
04:32get the softer chews because they are sadly missing some teeth. And this is just going to be really nice
04:39for the dogs for their second to last day of the series. And so we've got Kobe here. Can you
04:45go Kobe?
04:46Moki's upstairs. She has got an upset stomach so unfortunately she's not going to have any of the
04:51shoes. Oh come in. We've got to show Bruno boy. Oh what's that Bruno? Oh good boy. We're now just
05:01going to give treats to Jockey and Louie. Jockey. Very brave. And then Louie I'm just going to leave
05:06this here for him because... Oh sorry Louie. Sorry mate. He will enjoy that hopefully. So thank you so much
05:15to
05:15everybody that has donated. I think it's time to actually look at donations. Louie is having a good
05:21look. He's going to chew it. I've got faith in him. So we've just seen. You can see that bit
05:26coming off
05:26of Bruno's head. That's his skin. There you go. We've got no idea how he's done that. He's like peeled
05:32some of his head off. Oh my god. We need to take him to the vet. You can see it.
05:37It is literally his
05:38skin coming off. How has he done that? Right. So the bit of skin has literally just come off his
05:44head.
05:44So it kind of looks like a scab now. We've called the vets and we've been able to get an
05:49emergency
05:49appointment. So we're going to take him there now. God this is not what we needed right now and it's
05:55the last thing Bruno needs. Like that looks like it's painful. He's literally got like a chunk of his
06:00head missing. Bless him. What's good is I think he had a scab there anyway. So I think that scab's
06:05just
06:05come off. But obviously we just don't want that to get affected. I think it looks worse than it
06:09actually is. But let's take him to the vet. Just to double check. So we've got Bruno in the car
06:14for the first time. You see he doesn't look too bad. Obviously this probably isn't going to be
06:19the most ideal experience for him. But this is an emergency. So unfortunately we just had to pick
06:25him up and put him in the back. To be fair he actually seems okay. Which is good. It's going
06:29to be
06:29interesting what he's like at the vet. This is not good. And not how we wanted to end our day.
06:35Poor dog. We've got Bruno. I'm picking him up because I'm not going to bother trying to
06:39walk him because he's quite scared obviously. He's heavy for his size. Hello. Good boy Bruno.
06:46Well done.
06:48I don't want to look at him too much. You know what he's like. He's got lean in and fall
06:51over.
06:55Good boy. He's being very brave.
06:57So we have just gotten back from the vets. Good point. And me and Ella may have overreacted a bit.
07:04So he had a scab on his head here before. And basically we think he knocked the scab like against
07:12his crate. And it came off basically. So now he's left with blessing. This scab on his head. But like
07:19it's nothing to worry about. It should basically just grow back. We have got some cream that we can
07:23get him to make sure that it grows back good. And he's going to live. When we saw the skin
07:30like
07:30obviously hanging off his face. We were like oh my god. Managed to book an emergency vet which was
07:35great. So we took him straight there. He was really good at the vets. We did also get his rear
07:39nails
07:41clipped because they were growing. And we had a muzzle on him just because he's obviously disabled and he
07:47can be super sensitive to something that hurts. The last thing he wanted was for him to get scared
07:51from them clipping his claws. And then obviously he maybe like air bites them. Obviously he didn't
07:56in the end. He was completely fine. And yeah basically he's going to live. Just right now he
08:00looks a bit like he's been through the wars blessing. But he's going to be completely fine.
08:03We just panicked a little bit. Now that that's done and that dilemma is over. What I was going to
08:08do
08:08was I was going to go over donations. So whilst I hold Bruno's head. Let's go over donations.
08:14We have hit 40,000 pounds. Dogs nicely. We have hit 40,000 pounds. That is insane. We did it.
08:24That
08:24was like our second target goal. Thank you guys so so much. I'm just going through. We just realized
08:30that we actually got messages as well when you guys donated. We've got one from Jennifer and Jennifer
08:35is her partner's called Rob. Rob and Jenny. And she adopted one of our rescues before called Sandy.
08:41She said, well done guys. You're doing such an incredible thing. The dogs are so lucky to have
08:45such devoted and compassionate people like you. Giving them a second chance at life. Without
08:50your amazing work we wouldn't have our Sandy. That's the dog that adopted. We hope every dog
08:54you rescue finds their own Rob and Jenny. A family to love them just as much as we love her.
08:59Thank you so much Jenny. That's so nice to hear. And thank you so much for donating 10 pounds as
09:03well.
09:04In the top spot we have got Samuel Ho with 600 pounds three days ago. I'm not sure if I
09:09missed that or not.
09:10But this person also donated another 520 pounds 10 hours ago. So they've donated like over a thousand
09:17pounds. So Samuel thank you so much. Please reach out to us on Instagram. We'd love to send you like
09:22a personal video. We've also got somebody here which is adorable. From Ellie S who donated 35 pounds.
09:28I admire you guys so much. You are so good. When I grow up I'm going to obviously work a
09:32job. I'm going
09:33to write books but I love dogs. I'm going to do the exact same thing you do. Turn my home
09:37into a dog
09:37shelter Ellie age 11. Bless her. Ellie thank you so much. And thank you so much I'm guessing Tony's
09:43parents because that 35 pound may have come out of their bank account. So thank you so much Ellie.
09:49We're glad that we can inspire you to help rescue dogs because dogs like Bruno deserve a second,
09:55third, fourth and fifth chance. As many chances as he needs. And every single dog here to find a
10:00forever home. So tomorrow is going to be the last episode of this series. I cannot believe
10:06it's coming to an end. As sad as it's going to be, me and Ella are looking forward to taking
10:11some
10:11time off because we are exhausted. So thank you so much guys and we'll see you tomorrow for the last
10:17episode.
