00:00This is Peggy. She was terrified when we first rescued her.
00:07But eventually Peggy became the most confident little girl and got adopted by my partner Ella's
00:13parents and today she's going to be reunited with Kobe, Moki and the four rescues we have.
00:20But we're starting off our day picking up dog poo. We have a lot of dogs and a lot of
00:25rescues
00:25so it has to be done. We're now also in a great routine for feeding all of them.
00:31Jockey goes to the conservatory, Ivy now knows to go in the crate, Lola also now knows to go in
00:37the
00:37other crate and Becca knows to wait outside the crates and get fed in the lounge. We fed the
00:42dogs quickly because Dilnaz, our dog behaviour consultant is coming to do more training with
00:47Jockey. We did some confidence building training with Jockey on Friday. She's one of our more
00:52terrified rescues and it seemed to really work. So today we're going to try and progress this.
00:58Dilnaz has once again laid out some items for Jockey but this time she has a box and a high
01:04-vis
01:04jacket. The high-vis jacket is there so that Jockey associates it with something positive
01:09as scared dogs like Jockey can be wary of builders. Jockey showed some curiosity which was great but it
01:15definitely looked like she was a bit more reserved than yesterday. So Dilnaz had an idea. We brought our
01:21other rescue dog Becca in and hoped that Jockey would see how Becca reacts to everything and copy
01:26her. This was the best idea because you could instantly see how much Jockey grew in confidence.
01:32She was staying around us a lot more. This was a great idea from Dilnaz and we'll try and progress
01:38this later on. Dilnaz then did some treat training with all the dogs. Basically just trying to get all
01:43the dogs to take one treat at a time. Moki really showed us up here. She was terrible.
01:49As cute as you are. Moki. Becca. Lola.
02:05Lola. Bless her. I think she got a little too excited. And then you have Kobe of course,
02:10who is the golden child in the back waiting patiently.
02:17So here's how the dogs are getting on today. Lola went for Moki. I think she may be guarding
02:22the sofa so that's the last time we let her up there. Jockey, although she's timid, she is very
02:32curious. She decides to be like a goat and climb the crates just to look outside. And Becca, well,
02:38this is Becca. She's got a leaf like stuck on her head. I think from a spine away. I am
02:45going to take
02:45it off her because she wants it off. But she looks absolutely adorable. There you go. Look,
02:55this is what was stuck. You know, you can't eat it now. Oh, I love Becca. She's so cheeky.
03:02I think her poor is starting to feel better too, because she's even getting involved with playing
03:08with Kobe. And Kobe is very choosy with what rescues he plays with. And because the weekend has just gone,
03:15me and Ella actually managed to go for a meal together. Okay, so me and Ella have come to Pho,
03:21which is a Vietnamese place. And we're actually going to be going to a restaurant once a week
03:27to basically spend some time away from the dog so that we don't die. And we have got Jordan and
03:33Leticia who are our dog carers during the series that are going to be looking after the dogs whilst
03:38we're away for, I mean, it's only going to be a couple of hours, but we haven't had the dogs
03:43be
03:43left alone yet. So we're like anxious parents. So I got a hot and spicy fur. I think that's how
03:51it's
03:51pronounced. Ella got, what did you get? I got the curry fur with chicken. And it looks good.
03:59We've decided during the series, we're going to try and go for a meal, just the two of us,
04:04every Saturday. It'll be nice to spend some quality time together without the dogs,
04:09even if it's only for a couple of hours. We're going to rate that meal out of 10. I'm going
04:13to say
04:13three, two, one, and then we're both going to say a number out of 10, what we thought the meal
04:18was.
04:18Ready? Three, two, one, eight. 10. 10. 10. All the dogs are getting on really well.
04:28We've had them all for a week now and it helps remind us why we do this. When we first
04:33rescued Peggy,
04:34she was terrified of other dogs. She was a UK surrender who needed urgent rescuing. We eventually
04:40built her confidence back up and it's just really nice to now be going through that same process
04:45with all of these dogs. I honestly cannot wait for Peggy to meet all of them later on today.
04:51So the reason why we have all of these dogs is because we're doing a fundraising series for Happy
04:57Shelter. Now I know that not everybody can afford to donate money and that's why we've come up with a
05:01way to be able to donate without actually spending any money. If you click that subscribe button,
05:06we'll personally donate a penny for every single subscriber to our YouTube channel. We'll donate
05:12another penny to everybody that follows our Instagram. We'll be posting every single day on
05:17there and we've made it easy for you. You can just scan the QR code and we'll donate a third
05:22penny
05:22for everybody that adds us on Snapchat. Again, you can just scan the QR code. Trust me when I say
05:28it's all
05:28going to add up. If a million people follow us, that's probably a bit unrealistic, but you never know.
05:34If a million people follow us across all social platforms, we'll personally donate £10,000 to
05:40Happy Shelter and that is a lot of money. So I also wanted to just give you some thoughts on
05:45how it's
05:46all going. Jockey is the most terrified rescue that we've had out of all of them, but we're really
05:52grateful for Dilnaz because the training that she's doing is making a big difference. We obviously don't
05:57manage to capture every single moment of the dogs, but even when we're doing little things like going
06:02into the kitchen, she's now coming in. She's definitely coming into the lounge a lot more too.
06:06And we think she is a shoo-in to win this trophy. We got this trophy, which we're going to
06:11award to
06:12a dog at the end of the series. It says on it, most improved rescue, 30 dogs in 30 days.
06:17Moki,
06:18you're definitely not getting this. And so Jockey really is a shoo-in to win this. But of course,
06:24we have got another four dogs coming next week. We had a lot of messages about Bruno,
06:30who was a foster that we showed on the second day, I believe. I am happy to say that Bruno
06:37is
06:38coming onto the Happy Bus and we will be fostering him. So we cannot wait for that. We made sure
06:43to
06:43listen to you guys. So we cannot wait to rehabilitate Bruno because he is a little bit slow,
06:48unfortunately. And then I'm also super excited. I don't know why I'm holding like all of this stuff.
06:54I'm also super excited for Peggy to come to the house today because it's going to be the first time
07:00that Kobe Moki has ever reunited with one of the rescues they've helped. And it will be really nice
07:06for all these rescues to also meet her because eventually they will be in her position and will
07:11go to their loving forever homes. So we're now going to go to Happy Shelter where there was a super
07:16scared dog. But in the short time we were there, I did manage to do some bonding with her. Okay,
07:22so this is Dolly. Can I pay you, Dolly? Oh, good girl. So Dolly's between five, no, six to seven
07:33years old.
07:38So Dolly came from what was basically a kill shelter. They didn't actually kill the dogs,
07:45but the shelter ended up getting shut down because the dogs didn't have simple things like food.
07:51They weren't being taken care of. The dogs had no fur and essentially it's called a kill shelter
07:57because the dogs ended up killing each other for food, water, trying to figure out who was in the
08:02pack, et cetera. So she comes from there. Oh, look at her. Look at her ears. So the fact that
08:08she's so
08:09trusting now is amazing. She can be a little bit shy, but you can see she's super loving. And so
08:15what was
08:15amazing? A lot of these dogs did come from this bad shelter, but Happy Shelter and Kamal, Kamal's the
08:21owner, Happy Shelter and Kamal took all of them in. I think there was around like 200 of those dogs
08:26and they took them all in. And now look at them. Like you'd never guess she was from something like
08:31that. She's a happy girl now, aren't you? She's very happy. So all donations help support dogs just like
08:37Dolly because she deserves a second chance. And it's not her fault that she was put in that terrible
08:42shelter before, but now she's here just waiting for her forever home. And she's a good girl.
08:47She is. She's a full-time good girl. She's shy. She's shy. I think I got a good time. Look,
08:56I guess that's where you can see that, you know, she can still be shy. She's very patient. I know.
09:02As you say that, that's just a warning. Yeah, it is. Dolly is the cutest dog, but now we're going
09:08to go
09:09back to the house and work on some confidence building for Jockey. Okay, so we have got Becca
09:14and Jockey in the conservatory again. We've decided to do it in here because this is kind of Jockey's
09:20safe space. And we're going to see how we get on. We are doing this with Becca. What's different here
09:26is we're actually in here. We're sort of like not too far away from Jockey. We know that obviously
09:32Becca is going to be fine. Let's see how Jockey gets on. You can see she's already exploring much more,
09:36which is great. Wow. That is so good. I think maybe from earlier where she saw Becca doing all of
09:45this, she's got a lot more confidence. Look at that. Becca moving the trophy. She's not scared.
09:49Wow, this is already an improvement. What's amazing with these is the fact that there's no food
09:54aggression and they're both just hunting for treats. Yeah, we really want Jockey to go into the
09:58box because she was a bit scared last time. Wow, that's really good. Oh my god, there we go.
10:05Well done Jockey. So this is the part of the day where I'm going to be checking donations to see
10:11how we're getting on. Wow, we have raised £4,922, which means we are so close to hitting our first
10:19target of £5,000. Thank you so much to everybody that has donated. Once we hit that £5,000 target,
10:27we're then going to give each dog a long lasting chew, which they can enjoy. And we've got donation
10:33targets to hit. And you can see all of them here. If you want more information about them,
10:38you can see them in the description. Thank you so much to everybody who has donated so far.
10:43We've also got a new person to hit our top donation spots, which is Lee. So massive thank you to
10:49him as
10:50well. If you would like to donate to our GoFundMe, you can either scan the QR code on screen now,
10:55or you can see the link in the description or in a pinned comment as well. Now finally,
11:00Peggy's going to come over and she's finally going to reunite with Kobe,
11:06Moki, and she's also going to meet all of our other rescues as well. Oh yeah, if you live in
11:11the UK
11:12and are interested in adopting any of our dogs, then you can see all of their links in the description
11:17too.

11:59Come on, Becca.
12:02Also, Becca has an engine port, so she didn't.
