00:00This is Kaya. She's one of the oldest dogs we've ever rescued and today we're going to be taking
00:05her on her first walk in years. But first we're picking up poo and before we get into our most
00:12chaotic morning ever we took Becca to the vets yesterday and we have some good news. She was
00:18able to get her bandage removed because the healing is going great. We also got her biopsy
00:23results back and apart from the damage around the toe there's nothing else wrong with her.
00:27But this does sadly mean she has to wear the cone of shame and she realistically needs to get her
00:32toe amputated at the cost of £1,500 or around $2,000. We'll have to see what happens with that
00:40but for now let's go back to this morning.
01:14Also it looks like a very, very wet day which is not going to be fun for being in the
01:22house because they're going to get so dirty.
01:22It looks like a very, very wet day which is not going to be fun for being in the house
01:22because they're going to get so dirty.
01:38We're going to show you how we start our most chaotic morning routine feeding nine dogs separately.
01:43Kobe come, come, come, come, come.
01:46Alright, Moki come. Sit. Sit. Wait. Sit. Wait. Yes. Okay, Kobe Moki done. We then need to barrier this off
01:58like that.
01:59Right, one dog. Maybe not you Bruno because you're very slow. Zaza, well done. No, go on.
02:03Right, Zaza always makes it nice and early.
02:05There you go.
02:07Realise that Ivy is outside literally by herself because they've got a celebratory shot.
02:11And so, come on Ivy.
02:12It's perfect time to feed her. This is where you've got to be able to adapt.
02:17Sometimes they just end up in places by themselves.
02:19Right, Ivy done. That is four down, five to go.
02:23Hello. Okay, so now this dog is done. She's got all submissive. Good girl. Come here.
02:27We are going to put her out and let one dog come in.
02:32Oh, sorry Zaza. Right, one dog, one dog, one dog.
02:35Okay, back up. One, one dog, one dog, one dog.
02:40And that is the chaos and annoyance of trying to feed one dog at a time.
02:47Right, come on Zaza. And then we've got to now get every other dog back into here.
02:51Go on Zaza. Come on Brida. Zaza, Zaza, no. Zaza, go on.
02:55And Kaya. Good girl. Yes, you escaped.
02:58Right, come on Kaya, out. Come on Kaya, come on, come on, out.
03:00Ah, Zaza. She's so small. She's so easy to get into places.
03:04Right, Kobi and Moki are done and I think Ivy's done.
03:07So we can now let one dog outside so they can eat by themselves.
03:10Oh my God, I'm out of breath. Go on Kaya. Go on Kaya, out. Kaya, come on.
03:14Good girl. Okay, Kaya's out.
03:16So she can now eat outside by herself. Good girl.
03:19Kobi and Moki are going to have to stay put there. They're being very good.
03:22Okay, we've got Kaya's food.
03:23We like to put hers in the corner so that if she pushes it, it's nice and easy for her
03:30to eat.
03:30All we've got left is Bruno, Louie and Jockey.
03:33Yeah.
03:33Getting there.
03:34Okay, so now we're going to get Becker out and Bruno in.
03:38Come on, Becker, mate. Go on, go on dogs. Go on, go on.
03:41Come on, Bruno.
03:42Bruno.
03:43Go on, boy. Go on, Bruno.
03:44Go on, Bruno.
03:46Come on, Bruno.
03:47Come on, Bruno.
03:48Come on, Bruno.
03:48Come on, Bruno.
03:49Go on, Bruno. Yes.
03:50Oh my God, he did it. Good boy.
03:53All right.
03:54We've got a nice big bowl for Bruno because he's a bit skinny.
03:56We put it in the corner so that when he pushes the bowl, he's not like sliding everywhere.
04:00So I think Kaya's done outside.
04:02Guys, this literally takes us like 15, 20 minutes every morning to just feed all these dogs.
04:07Kaya's done.
04:07Good girl, Kaya.
04:09Okay, so we're going to get Kaya back into the conservatory.
04:11Come on, Kaya.
04:12And we need to somehow get one dog out.
04:14That is Louie or Jockey.
04:16Oh my God, it works.
04:18So now we can feed Jockey.
04:19In fact, Jockey's a bit scared, so I'm just going to place this here for her.
04:22And there you go.
04:23I'm about to say she'll come and eat it pretty quick.
04:25And finally, once Jockey is done, we clear the conservatory out and Louie has got his
04:31one bowl.
04:32Louie's scared of Becca's cone.
04:34And Becca's chasing him.
04:37Bless him.
04:38So I've kind of got to hit, go ahead, guard Louie.
04:41Here you go.
04:42Good boy.
04:43Well done.
04:44And done.
04:46Louie, boy.
04:47No, he's a bit scared.
04:48That's okay.
04:48And that's how we start every single morning.
04:51Oh yeah.
04:52And now we clean all nine bowls.
04:54And then we fill up and give the dogs all fresh water in their three bowls.
04:59Very busy.
05:00Good boy, Bruno.
05:02Oh yeah.
05:03And by the way, our professional dog consultant behaviorist is coming to train Zaza today because
05:08she doesn't stop jumping.
05:09So let's go to that.
05:11So we're going to be working with Zaza's jumping because as you can see, it is just relentless.
05:17It is literally non-stop.
05:19And so the first thing that Dilnaz is going to do as always, learn eye contact with Zaza
05:23and then she can continue to show how to teach us to get her to stop jumping.
05:28Because also, sorry, last thing, even though she's a small dog, the jumping is still annoying
05:32and even small dogs shouldn't jump.
05:34Should I give her one on the floor?
05:35Yeah.
05:36Give her one on the floor so she knows you've got the truth.
05:38I'm just going to walk past.
05:40Mark.
05:41So I say yes.
05:42Yep.
05:42So say yes and reward.
05:43And I'm going to walk past again.
05:46Let her see me first.
05:48That's it.
05:49Mark.
05:49Yes.
05:50Yes.
05:50So always make sure she's spotted me.
05:53Yeah.
05:53Okay.
05:54And then the marking comes in.
05:56There.
05:56So mark.
05:57Yes.
05:58Beautiful.
05:58Nearly gave her a big chunk.
06:00And get ready.
06:01Make sure she notices me.
06:04Perfect.
06:06Yes.
06:07Perfect.
06:08That's okay.
06:09You've marked her.
06:10So get her attention.
06:11There we go.
06:11Nice.
06:12Let's do that again.
06:13So wait for her to look at me.
06:15There.
06:15Mark.
06:15Yes.
06:19Yes.
06:19She didn't jump.
06:20Good.
06:23Mark.
06:24Yes.
06:24Yes.
06:25Brilliant.
06:25Really good.
06:27So now Donaz is done training with Zaza.
06:29She did amazing.
06:30Let's update you on how all of the dogs are doing.
06:33So Becca is sulking a little bit because she has to wear the cone of shame.
06:38Ivy has got a potential meet and greet tomorrow with her potential forever family.
06:44Which makes us so sad.
06:46I don't want her to go.
06:48And then Zaza has got her potential meet and greet Saturday.
06:53Yeah.
06:54On Saturday.
06:56So she may also be gone on Saturday.
06:58Which makes us so sad.
07:00The smallest dogs were always going to get adopted first.
07:03Because you know it's a lot easier to adopt a small dog.
07:05More people want smaller dogs.
07:07But we don't want them to go.
07:08But at the same time it is going to make our life a lot easier.
07:11Going from nine to seven dogs.
07:13Our Granny Kaya has done really really good.
07:15She is amazing.
07:17She hasn't had much interest yet.
07:19Which makes us a little bit sad.
07:20Because she is the most adorable girl.
07:23I mean you can see from the videos.
07:25Like her personality.
07:26Bruno.
07:27We haven't put up for adoption just yet.
07:30Because we want to take them to the vets.
07:31To get like these little sores looked at and everything.
07:34Maybe see if we can get them a medical wash.
07:35And then Louie and Jockey has actually got some interest.
07:39They're both of them.
07:40But because of how they are.
07:41And we're still working on confidence building them.
07:43You know we're being very particular about who they go to.
07:46Like realistically they need to go to somebody who is experienced.
07:49What's great is they're both friendly with dogs.
07:51So if they had like another confident dog in the household.
07:55That isn't too overbearing.
07:56Like that would be perfect for them.
07:58And Kobe and Moki aren't going anywhere.
08:00But if Moki keeps annoying us.
08:01She might get put up for adoption.
08:02No she won't.
08:03That is a joke.
08:04That is a joke.
08:06When you're not going anywhere.
08:08Moki's like please no.
08:10You're very annoying but you're not going anywhere.
08:12Because we love you.
08:13So if you live in the UK.
08:15And you are interested in adopting any of these dogs.
08:18Then all of the links are down in the description.
08:20So now we're going to be taking Kaya.
08:22Kaya come on girl.
08:24On her first ever walk in probably years.
08:27We're going to take her with Kobe.
08:29Because we just feel like the seniors should go together.
08:31Kobe's 6.
08:32Kai's around like 12 or 13 or 14.
08:35Basically old for a dog.
08:36And so let's go and take you miss.
08:39On your first ever walk.
08:40In probably years.
08:41So she looks super excited.
08:43We've been told.
08:44She's really good on the lead.
08:46So let's see.
08:47Let's go.
08:47Oh we've got some building work going on.
08:49So.
08:50She is a very big girl.
08:52She looks huge.
08:53Look how amazing she is.
08:54Huh?
08:55Look how good she is.
08:56Wow.
08:57She's sort of pulling.
08:58She's a bit unsure.
08:59Yeah but she's not pulling.
09:00At all.
09:01No.
09:02Good girl.
09:02Wow.
09:03She's being so good.
09:05Good girl.
09:05So what we've heard about Kaya being great on the lead.
09:08Is so true.
09:08Yeah.
09:09It's very true.
09:09She's so good.
09:10Look at her.
09:11Well done Kaya.
09:13Right we're going to go onto the field.
09:14Cool.
09:14When she reaches her limit.
09:16She doesn't pull.
09:17Really?
09:17No look.
09:18Watch even when she feels it.
09:21Oh Kaya coming.
09:22It's alright.
09:22Did you see that?
09:23Yeah.
09:24Wow.
09:25Good girl.
09:26Right we're going to go here.
09:26We're going to let Koby off.
09:27Koby sit.
09:28Sit.
09:29Good boy.
09:30Sit.
09:31Good boy.
09:32Wait.
09:33Yes it's gone then.
09:34Yes it's gone then.
09:35Wow.
09:37Good girl.
09:38Aw she looks at you.
09:39Good shape.
09:40She looks at you for a bit of reassurance.
09:42So obviously at Happy Shelter because there's so many dogs.
09:44Like it is impossible to walk that many dogs and completely understandable.
09:48So they don't really leave the shelter.
09:50And like this could be her first walk in like years.
09:55Like years and years and years.
09:57And so all of these new smells will basically be completely new for her.
10:01She's loving it.
10:02She's having a sniffari.
10:04What is that?
10:05A sniff safari.
10:07Right.
10:07That was terrible.
10:09It makes us so happy to see our girl Kaya going on a walk for the first time in probably
10:14years.
10:15But now let's go to Happy Shelter and show you one of the oldest dogs they have.
10:20Hello.
10:21This is Archie.
10:22He's got his own little area here.
10:24Hello.
10:24He might be one of the oldest at the shelter.
10:26He's nine years old.
10:28He's not very friendly with other dogs so he might go for them.
10:31Good boy.
10:32Hence why he stays here.
10:33But he's super friendly with people.
10:36Hello.
10:37This one can't really get adopted because he's just too old.
10:40Not very friendly with dogs.
10:42I don't think he'll be able to travel.
10:43But what is really nice is that Happy Shelter still look after dogs like this.
10:48It's not just dogs that can get adopted.
10:50I think they've got a lot of favourite dogs as well.
10:53Archie.
10:53He's an old boy this one.
10:56He's just super chilled out.
10:58Can you see him?
10:58Yeah.
10:59Yeah.
11:00Good boy.
11:01And all fundraising and donations help support dogs just like Archie.
11:06I mean you can see now he's got like a bed and things like that.
11:09And right now it's pretty nice and hot.
11:11It's 30 degrees in Macedonia.
11:13But they have really cold winters.
11:16And so stuff like beds, blankets, all things like that will all be needed for these dogs.
11:22Especially as Archie is a long-term resident here.
11:26And so fundraising supports Happy Shelter to be able to help dogs just like Archie.
11:31Good boy.
11:32I find it absolutely adorable how Kaya is like the grandma of the group.
11:37But she still plays with all the dogs.
11:39We've also managed to take Becca's cone off temporarily.
11:42And she's definitely enjoying being able to move around more.
11:47Right, Kobe.
11:48These dogs just want to come in.
11:51As soon as we take Becca's cone off, absolute chaos.
11:56Come, come, come on Mokie.
11:57Come on Becca.
11:58Come on.
11:59Go on then.
11:59Oh, there comes Bruno.
12:01Oh my god.
12:04Oh, and Kaya's humping Jockey.
12:07Kaya!
12:08Kaya!
12:11Stop ganging up on Becca as well.
12:15Nicely.
12:21I think Mokie's getting out of my frustrations right now.
12:25Oh my god.
12:26Hey, hey, Mokie.
12:27Mokie enough.
12:28Alright, everyone stop ganging up on Becca.
12:30Oh my god.
12:31Okay.
12:31Okay.
12:32Oh, Bruno.
12:33Mokie out.
12:34Mokie.
12:34Okay.
12:35Mokie out.
12:37Mokie out.
12:43What is going on?
12:44So it's that time of the day where I'm going to be checking donations.
12:48Now, obviously, we already know from yesterday that we already hit 25,000 pounds.
12:52So all of these dogs are going to be getting a very special dinner tonight, which we have already got.
12:58So we're going to go into that afterwards.
12:59So let me have a look.
13:01We have raised 26 and a half thousand pounds.
13:05Like that is insane.
13:07We've had 775 donations.
13:10Thank you guys so much.
13:11Our next target is 30,000 pounds.
13:14If we could please try and hit that as soon as possible, because once we hit the 30,000 pound
13:20target, we're going to take all of these dogs into an enclosed field.
13:24So they can literally just be let off the lead and play and just have the time of their lives.
13:28And the reason I want to hit that ASAP is because obviously Ivy, Zaza, Becca's got a lot of interest.
13:34Like the ones that will probably enjoy this the most are all going soon.
13:37And so if we're able to hit that 30,000 pound donation target soon, then we can take all of
13:43the dogs here and take them to an enclosed field, which would be insane.
13:46You can scan the QR code to donate to the GoFundMe.
13:49I have just checked top donors.
13:50Everybody's the same.
13:51We have still got Kristen Bell with the three over three and a half thousand pounds.
13:56Shout out to you, Kristen.
13:57Thank you so much.
13:58If anybody wants to take her off top spot, feel free.
14:01Be our guest.
14:01And then we've got some honorable shout outs.
14:03We've got Amy with the five pounds, Tanya with the 22 pounds and Tristan with the 18 pounds.
14:08Thank you so much.
14:09Even the small donations make a massive difference.
14:11So let's go and show you what we got the dogs for their amazing premium luxury meal.
14:16Thanks to you guys.
14:17We have got nine steaks here.
14:20And when we said we're going to give the dogs a premium meal.
14:22Once we hit 25,000 pounds, you can see that we weren't joking because this is literally like a what's
14:28called butcher cut.
14:29These are literally butcher cut steaks.
14:30So we've got three steaks for the three smaller dogs.
14:34We've got six biggest steaks for the bigger dogs.
14:36And we have got some sweet potato and some broccoli because they need to get their veg in as well.
14:42So let's chef this up and then feed the dogs this amazing meal because you guys have helped us raise
14:4725,000 pounds.
14:49Woo.
14:50All right.
14:51So I've got the steaks cooking.
14:53Ella is cooking up the sweet potatoes to boil them.
14:55We have now cooked all of the steak.
14:58We are cutting them into like the tiniest pieces because we know these dogs will go feral for this steak.
15:06And so obviously we don't want anybody choking.
15:08So that's getting cut up.
15:09We've got the sweet potato and broccoli cooking.
15:11We have just looked and read that the dogs shouldn't have too much sweet potato in their diet.
15:16So we're just going to put a little bit of that.
15:19And so once this is all done, we're going to start preparing their bowls.
15:22Food is prepared.
15:23All nine meals.
15:25We have got the steak in there.
15:26I kind of covered it with all the broccoli and sweet potato, but it is all in there.
15:31Hitting the 25,000 pound donation target was one of my favorite ones.
15:35Like I'm not going to lie.
15:36I couldn't wait to feed these dogs like steak, sweet potato and broccoli.
15:39But honestly, our favorite one is going to be the 30,000 pound goal.
15:43Like taking the rescue dogs to like an enclosed field and letting them roam and explore.
15:47I'm looking forward to that if we could hit it.
15:49So let's feed all of the dogs their meals.
15:52First dogs to get their amazing meal is Kobe and Moki.
15:57Maybe a slight bias there, but just as a thank you for sharing their house and everything with all of
16:04these rescues.
16:05Right, come here.
16:05Sit.
16:06Sit.
16:07Wait.
16:08They are going to go feral for this.
16:10Sit.
16:11Oh my God.
16:12I'm so excited.
16:14Yes.
16:15Kobe's gone straight for the broccoli.
16:17That's right, boy.
16:18Eat your veg.
16:19Moki is going nuts.
16:20She's going for the sweet potato, the steak, the broccoli.
16:23She's having it all.
16:24Next dog to enjoy their steak meal is Jockey.
16:27She's scared right now, not knowing that she's got an amazing meal.
16:32So we're not going to get too close to Jockey.
16:34So she's the first rescuer.
16:36She's going straight for the steak and ignoring...
16:38Oh no, she went for the veg.
16:39And she's just realized the steak.
16:43She likes the steak.
16:44She likes the steak.
16:45Of course she likes the steak.
16:46So it's going to be really interesting to see like what rescues like what.
16:50Oh my God.
16:50She just spit out a bit of steak.
16:52Jockey at this rate.
16:53We're going to have to just have to give you a normal meal.
16:55Oh, no.
16:55She's going to feral for it now.
16:58Oh.
17:00Amazingly, she's...
17:01Oh, there.
17:02I was about to say.
17:03What dog does not like steak?
17:05Next is Zaza.
17:06We have got her a slow feeder because she literally houses food down.
17:10There is no tomorrow.
17:11Oh, the slow feeders done this thing.
17:13She's a lot, lot slower.
17:16Oh, she's loving it.
17:17This is great because she can't house it down.
17:19She's forced to eat slowly.
17:20Okay.
17:20Let's go feed Louie.
17:21Lovable, shy boy Louie.
17:23There you go.
17:25So what's funny is obviously the steak is like covered by the sweet potato and broccoli.
17:30And so I'm guessing what they want is the steak.
17:33So this is, I'm sure without a doubt, going to be their first time ever trying steak.
17:37He's a big boy.
17:39So wouldn't be surprised to be housed down the whole thing.
17:42Zaza is done.
17:43Ivy.
17:45Ivy's turn.
17:47So this steak is covered by sweet potato and broccoli.
17:51All the dog's reaction to the sweet potato is hilarious.
17:54They're like, I'm not sure about that.
17:56But to get to this steak, she's got to make her way through the sweet potato.
17:59We have got the old girl Kaya.
18:02Oh, what is that?
18:04So it's really good that we cut up all the steak for her because she's only got about two teeth.
18:08Bless her.
18:09She's enjoying it.
18:10I mean, is it a surprise that all the dogs have gone straight to the steak?
18:15So we have got our special boy, Bruno.
18:19Let's see how he gets on.
18:21He's gone straight for the broccoli.
18:24Oh, he's looking very confused.
18:27He's a bit scared of the new food, I think.
18:29I'm not sure why he's leaning like that.
18:31He's leaning like that because he's scared.
18:33He looks like he's doing a press-up.
18:34Yeah, the new food is scaring him.
18:36Oh, he prefers the broccoli on the floor.
18:38I think he's a bit confused.
18:41Let's see how we get some now.
18:42Oh, yes.
18:43For the steak.
18:45So that leaves only one dog left to feed.
18:48We have got Becca.
18:49I'm going to hold it for her because of her cone.
18:52Oh, she went to house and then she was like, wait, what's this?
18:56Oh, she's going for it.
19:00She's gone straight for the steak.
19:02I feel like the sweet potato and the broccoli was a good idea, but most of the dogs didn't eat
19:06it.
19:07Oh, she's eating it, I think.
19:09Is she?
19:09Yeah, I think she is.
19:10So, guys, that is nine dogs fed their premium luxury meals.
19:14Thank you so much to everybody that has donated.
19:17£25,000 is an insane amount of money.
19:20Tomorrow, we are going to be doing some work with Louis and Dilnaz to help build his confidence.
19:25It's going to be a good one.
19:26So, we'll see you guys.
19:28Bye.
