00:00This is Zaza. She's possibly the cutest dog we've ever rescued and today she's going on probably her first ever

00:07But we have to start picking up poo and whilst we do that

00:12I need to show you guys what our two terrified dogs Louie and Jockey were like this morning

00:19Because it's just insane how different they are as soon as you wake up

00:31Hello Bruno, oh good boy, hello Louie boy

00:36So what's interesting is every morning is the best time to catch the dogs that are stressed

00:41Because they've, oh are you smiling

00:44Because they've just had a whole night of good sleep, desensitisation

00:48As you can see this is the least stressed they will be the entire day

00:52I mean look at Jockey, what a difference, even Louie

00:55Hello, Louie smiles, look at him

01:02You can tell from their body language just how different they are

01:06Sorry every single dog has gone to the toilet

01:08So the dogs have had a great morning

01:11But now let me give you an update on how our two scared rescues Jockey and Bagel

01:16Formerly known as Louie, are doing

01:18So you can see Jockey and Bagel were already doing really well this morning

01:22But you can also see here how much Jockey has come on

01:26She's getting pecked from Ella and loving it

01:29She's even doing these little like play bites, it is adorable

01:32You can even see Bagel coming over too

01:35Their progression is coming along really well

01:38And then we have our slow boy Bruno

01:41Bruno is very confused

01:42Oh

01:43But I think he's a bit scared of it

01:47She's had it on for like three days, I'm not sure

01:50I hope he's only just noticed

01:52He's only just noticed Becca's code and tries to eat it

01:57Bruno, it's not a toy

01:59Bruno, you're gonna like pull her head off

02:00He then nearly falls off of the chair

02:03Please don't fall off the sofa

02:05The way he's like sitting on it, it's just so strange

02:10And all of the dogs go absolutely nuts

02:13Moki's getting absolutely attacked by Becca in the cove

02:20Moki has got the teamies

02:25And Becca is absolutely attacking her with a cone

02:29Moki that's very confused

02:30They're all ganging up on her

02:31Now we're going to bring in

02:33Our professional dog behaviorist consultant

02:35Dilnaz to do some training with Zaza

02:39So we're training Zaza to put her head into a cone

02:42Why?

02:43Well because once Jockey and Bagel get adopted

02:45We need to find a way to transport them safely

02:48To their forever home

02:50This is a great way to start training the dogs

02:52To have some positive association with a muzzle

02:54And we thought Zaza would be the best dog to start with this

02:58So we could learn how to do it with Jockey and Bagel in the future

05:28She's really thriving

05:30Being an only dog

05:31And getting all the attention

05:32And Ivy is already getting on with her new pug siblings

05:36Even sleeping next to them after their first day together

05:39It makes us so sad to see the dogs leave

05:41But it makes us so happy seeing updates on how they're doing

05:44So we still have got eight dogs here

05:46And the reason we have so many dogs

07:22I just wanted to give you an update on how everything is going so far

07:25So obviously we now have got eight dogs and it's made things a bit easier

07:31When Lola left like you didn't really tell the difference going from ten to nine dogs

07:37Going from ten to eight like you start to feel a bit of a difference

07:41What doesn't help is I don't know if you can sound from my voice but I am starting to get

07:45ill

07:45Ella is also ill

07:46And it's kind of just made this entire series just that little bit more harder

07:51But we're going to get through it

07:53Like the craziest thing for us is like seeing how much we have raised so far

07:58And seeing that donation amount just going up every single day

08:01Like it gives us so much energy

08:03It's the reason obviously that we're doing all of this

08:06A hundred percent of the profits does go to happy shelter

08:09And just seeing those donations going up and up

08:11It makes us feel good

08:12It's um

08:13It's an amazing feeling

08:15So much to everybody that has donated so far

08:17So now let's go to happy shelter and introduce you to Mehdi

08:21So this is Mehdi

08:22I don't want to get too close to her even though she's in a crate

08:25She is from a kill shelter

08:28That if you've watched any of the other videos

08:30A lot of these dogs sadly are

08:32And happy shelter were telling me

08:35That it actually took a year to be able to pet her

08:37And so to be honest I think

08:38The fact that right now that she's even

08:40Like not running away is probably a good thing

08:43Apparently she's just really really scared of people

08:45It looks like she's got a playmate

08:46I think these two are like best friends

08:48Okay guys well I just wanted to say that we've come here for the last three days

08:53And every time we've come in here she's been in this little hole

08:56She does not move from this hole

08:58It's like a little comfort zone

09:01And even volunteer even goes in here and shows us like she's happy to be touched or whatever

09:06And she just still won't move

09:07This is her little comfort zone

09:08We just thought this was really cute

09:10Donations help to feed chunky monkeys like this little girl here

09:15And also just provide them a safe space

09:17To be able to have someone come and clean out their homes

09:21Provide them blankets, water, toys, great food

09:27And also all of this space

09:29Mehdi is adorable but now we're going back to the house

09:32And we're going to be taking Zaza on her first ever walk

09:35All right then Zazie let's do it

09:37Oh there she goes

09:38So we have got Kobe and Moki with us

09:41To hopefully give her some confidence on the walk

09:44But she seems good

09:45She seems very confident

09:46Whenever we take these dogs on like potentially their first ever walk

09:50This is like one of the best moments

09:52Because you can just see how much they're enjoying it

09:58There goes Kobe and Moki

10:00And Zaza she wants to play with them

10:03Look at her

10:05Confident as anything

10:06Oh Kobe's doing his happy rolls

10:08Come on Zaza

10:09Woo there she goes

10:10Oh Ella's made like an extra long lead

10:12So Zaza is doing amazing on her walk

10:15And we have got so many applications for the dogs that we have already

10:20Which is amazing

10:21But we get them to fill in a Google form

10:24Whenever they want to apply for the dogs

10:26And one of the questions of the Google form is something like

10:29Is there any reason why you would ever give the dog back up for adoption

10:32Or it's word is something like that

10:34And a lot of people are putting aggression

10:37So you know there's people with kids and stuff like that

10:40And you know they're saying if the dog is aggressive towards our kids

10:44Then you know we'd put them up for adoption

10:46And I think it's

10:49First I think it's great that they're being honest

10:51Because it means that we can have a discussion with them

10:54But I think what people don't realize

10:56And we spoke to Dylan Az about this

10:58Is that if a dog is aggressive

11:01Like there's a reason for it

11:02So say take Becca for example

11:04She doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body

11:06But if say her paw is hurting

11:08And one of the children maybe accidentally sit on her paw and it hurts

11:11She could do a little growl or a little air snap or something like that

11:15It doesn't mean that she's aggressive

11:16It's just you did something that hurt her

11:18So the point that I'm trying to get across is that

11:20It's important to remember that when you do get a dog into your family

11:24They are part of the family

11:25The way that I see it is

11:26Let's say you have two boys, two young boys

11:29One of them starts fighting with the other

11:31And they just they keep fighting, they keep fighting

11:33You don't give one of the boys up for adoption do you?

11:36You work through it

11:37And that's how it needs to be with a dog

11:39Whether you buy a dog or whether you adopt a rescue

11:43That aggression can happen

11:44It doesn't matter that they're a rescue

11:46And so what I just want to remind you is that

11:48If you're willing to take a dog into your family

11:51Anything bad can happen

11:52I'm not saying it will

11:53And you can't always be scared of the bad things that are going to happen

11:56Odds are it's going to be something

11:57You know, you're going to have an amazing time

11:59An amazing family dog

12:00But you just have to be prepared

12:02For something wrong to happen

12:03And to be able to work through it

12:05That's why so many dogs need to be rescued

12:06Because people simply just don't want to work through it

12:09But they're part of the family

12:10You can't just give a dog up

12:12All right, enough of that now

12:14Let's just enjoy the walk with Zaza

12:28So the walk went really well

12:30Let's now take Zaza back to the other dogs

12:34So it's gotten to that time of day

12:35Where we are going to be checking donations

12:37And we have hit 32,000 pounds

12:41A little over actually

12:42Like that is incredible

12:45We're now starting to get towards our next target of 40,000 pounds

12:50Now once we hit that target

12:52We're going to create like a silhouette

12:54With every single person's name

13:07And we're going to place that in our lounge

13:14But even if you can only afford to donate a small amount

13:17That's completely fine

13:18Because you're still going to be in the city where

13:22Like we're going to hang it up in the lounge

13:23And basically every time we film a video
