03:13Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago, and to our global audience as well.
03:17This is Beyond the Tape.
03:19I'm your host, Whitney Husbands.
03:20Now, I hope that you all had an enjoyable and safe weekend.
03:24And as we enter into the new week, we are back here on a Monday.
03:27And the one gentleman that we have been missing for almost a week is back with us
03:32because he was doing what he does best, which is trying his best to bring closure back to families
03:36along with his team.
03:38We like to welcome Captain Rambarat back with us safely and in one piece.
03:41Good evening to you, sir.
03:42A pleasant good evening, Whitney, and a pleasant good evening to our viewers on Beyond the Tape.
03:48And by extension, TV6, it's a pleasure to be back.
03:53I want to say thanks to Desi Simon for holding on for me twice in the month of May, I
03:59believe.
03:59One day I was in the Carcassonne, of course, I was in Tobago.
04:03And Whitney, I cannot imagine when last Fernando Bego had an emotional roller coaster like this
04:14that lasted beyond 10 days.
04:15I'm trying in my memory.
04:18I know Andrea Barrett was one.
04:20And then we came upon this, a two-year-old boy who went missing from his home in Cambridge Road
04:27in Goodwood.
04:29And last Monday night is when the alarm was raised that the two-year-old was missing.
04:35And by Tuesday, when I realized, you know, you would expect a little to walk around and find them within
04:42a couple of hours or so.
04:44But when was Tuesday, we began to mobilize to go.
04:48And this is Angelo Tobias Plaza.
04:52And we began mobilizing.
04:54And I just want to start today with the house.
04:58If you could, that's a view of the house.
05:00And this is the track here.
05:02We did a nice video of the house on the hill there.
05:06Not a very high hill.
05:07And then there was, there's the track to go down to the beach.
05:10And you see the beach there where the vehicle is parked, right?
05:13Yes.
05:13And at the end of the beach there, there's a basin, a rocky area where the beach meets a rocky
05:20outcropped.
05:21And it's referred to in the village as the washing machine.
05:24Very turbulent waters.
05:27And there you could see us there descending with ropes to get closer to the washing machine to peer into
05:33all those areas to see what we could have found.
05:38But it's an area that is, the waters are turbulent and it spins continuously, 24-7, every single day.
05:50Now, on my arrival in Tobago, I was briefed by Tima.
05:55And Whitney, I would have seen a written report of three confirmed sightings of a body in that washing machine
06:03on the Tuesday morning.
06:05One was by a cert person that those are associated with Tima.
06:10The next one was from a firefighter.
06:16And the third one was from an inspector of police.
06:19And they saw the body.
06:21It is reported.
06:22It was written in the report, documented that they saw a body there at 6.10 a.m. the morning,
06:31the Tuesday morning.
06:33Tima arrived with their high-power drone at 6.15 a.m.
06:39And at 6.29 a.m., the drone was raised and there was no further sighting of the body.
06:46Now, upon our arrival in Tobago, we had to take those things into consideration.
06:54And we immediately took the task and informed the authorities that we are going to search every inch of those
07:03rocky cliffs that move southwards from Goodwood.
07:07Now, we were correct with the current because, you know, a few days after, a couple of days after, we
07:13went to retrieve our body in Blemen.
07:16And so that, the way, how that body moved was correct in terms of our gauge of how the currents
07:23were moving.
07:23And so this is us searching every part of that coastline.
07:29Every cliff was a tough area to search.
07:31We searched all inside those rocks there.
07:35But if everybody was placed there, Captain, what are the possibilities of it still being there?
07:45Well, the Coast Guard went down, I believe, on Tuesday.
07:48And they found that the waters were not, there was a low visibility.
07:52There was a high presence of the sagasome seaweed on that particular morning.
07:57And that the seas were too roughed.
08:00And so they were not able to clearly see.
08:02There was nothing in that water.
08:05They did return.
08:07And visibility was improved.
08:10But they did not find anything.
08:12How we looked at it is that it's spinning like this all the time.
08:19Like a tornado in the water.
08:21And at some point in time, it would have pushed out the sea and headed down the areas of cliffs.
08:26And that is why we focused on searching every rock, every single rock in that area for three kilometers.
08:34It was our daily task.
08:36But, you know, apart from searching the rocky cliffs, you know, we were pulled to and fro.
08:44And I know the Commissioner described it as a roller coaster.
08:48A wild goose chase.
08:50So we were called.
08:51We went to the landfill.
08:53We went to check below a dog kennel.
08:55We went to check a cassava field.
08:58We went to check a pig farm.
09:00We went to check a cemetery.
09:02Do you think the said suspects in that timing was just doing the mojas to get persons?
09:09Just to get persons.
09:12And you have to factor that in.
09:13Because we're in a small community and word gets around.
09:17I saw also that the THC's chief secretary in a release or some, he was speaking to the media today.
09:28And he indicated that he felt that the Trinidad and Tobago police service would have gotten onto the case later.
09:34And I guess he's speaking about the tension of the two persons.
09:37Yes, immediate.
09:38I think that's the conversation that persons are saying.
09:42The lane which they, you know, at least apprehended them.
09:45The TTPs box, it's broad.
09:49But I could identify with not having that clarity in terms of what happened in those few moments on Monday
09:57night.
09:57And, you know, I could identify with that.
10:03But at the end of the day, they detained the individuals and they would have gotten, they would have charged
10:10one individual.
10:11Well, speaking of being detained, a 24-year-old Goodwood Tobago man charged with murder in the disappearance of two
10:18-year-old Angelo Plaza.
10:20The Trinidad and Tobago police service advised that the following ongoing investigations into the disappearance of two-year-old Angelo
10:28Plaza, a 24-year-old man of Goodwood, has been formally charged with the offense of murder.
10:33Following a thorough review of the evidence gathered, legal advice was provided that there is sufficient evidence to proceed with
10:42criminal charges.
10:43As a result, Shannon Miller, 24, of Cambridge Trace, Goodwood, has been formally charged with the offense of murder.
10:52Yes, so I think that that would have eased the burden of some, but, you know, there are those who
10:57still no clarity and no closure for the family.
11:02But if it's out in that ocean, we do expect to find it again.
11:08Really?
11:10Yeah, based on our experience.
11:12Normally, you would find within the first three to four to five days.
11:16But at this stage, the likelihood of finding anything, if the body is in the ocean, is almost nil.
11:24Yes.
11:24Our next mission, I understand.
11:25Yeah, and we had little rest because we arrived Thursday into Friday morning.
11:31And what happened was that we got a report of Simon Baguat that he went missing.
11:39He and his speaker is missing, Simon Baguat from Whiteland, and he's missing.
11:47Whitney, the story behind this case is one where he was involved with a Venezuelan national female.
11:54And he would have gone on, he would have moved in with her.
11:59It's a three-month relationship in the last month he moved in with her.
12:02But he returned home last Sunday and spoke to his father in a frank way and told the father that
12:09he was being extorted for money.
12:12He was being extorted.
12:14He would have paid to an establishment in San Fernando $3,500 as well as $1,800.
12:21And they demanded another $1,800, which he couldn't pay.
12:25For what?
12:27Just for being in this establishment where he and his girlfriend visited regularly.
12:34Is that an apartment complex?
12:36No, it's an entertainment area.
12:38Bar, right, that he visited regularly.
12:41And he was threatened and he was told he would be given a trunk ride if he didn't pay this
12:48next $1,800.
12:49He went home to his father, told the father, and the father decided to take him to the Gasparilla Police
12:55Station to make a report.
12:57He made the report and he was told to come back on Wednesday to give a full written report.
13:03He went there and he never returned home after giving the report.
13:08He did tell his father after giving the report he would go and apply his car for hire, which he
13:13did, right?
13:13That was his job, a PH car.
13:16And he never returned home.
13:19And so we launched a search yesterday and today as well in various parts of Trinidad and Tobago.
13:30And in these situations, we try to get the vehicle first and we have an idea of the areas we
13:39should search after five years of experience.
13:42And we look at areas also where bodies are dumped.
13:48And so the team had just went out on Sunday and they were out today as well searching.
13:54One thing I am bothered by is that the gentleman needs to go back to the station to give a
14:01full report.
14:02A full statement, normally you make an initial report, they will take note of it, you will get your receipt.
14:08But then you need to get in there and give a detailed statement to them.
14:13And so we are asking persons, if you have information on Simon Bagwat and his car, a white AD wagon,
14:28yes, a white AD wagon, PDR 2070.
14:32Please get in contact with the police at 800-TIPS-555-999 or you can call us at 799-1453.
14:42We need to find this gentleman.
14:44Thus far, it has been five days and no information has been forthcoming.
14:49All right.
14:50I hope that we could gather some information again to bring closure to the families.
14:54Right now, let's take a look at our SOE update as of May 25th, 2026.
15:00Number of operations, 6,233.
15:04Number of targets prior to offenders, 1,858.
15:09Searches conducted, 2,908.
15:12Traffic operations, 3,645.
15:15Total persons arrested, 2,774.
15:21Total persons charged, 586.
15:25Firearms recovered, we're seeing an increase with pistols, giving us a total of 164.
15:30Ammunition recovered, we're seeing an increase with the 9mm, the 12 gauge and the 5.56, giving us a total
15:37of 3,294.
15:40And dangerous drug seized, we are seeing an increase with cannabis and cocaine once again.
15:45Captain?
15:46Yeah, and the increase in the sidearms, excellent work by the police that have recovered 164 firearms during the SOE.
15:58This is sparking violent crime in Trinidad and Tobago, the use of firearms.
16:04And therefore, every effort must be made to get these weapons off the streets.
16:09Yes.
16:10Right now, it's time to look at what's making today's headlines.
16:43And those are your stories making today's headlines.
16:45Remember, you can give us a call at 623-1711, extension 1996 and 1997.
16:52We take that break.
16:53We'll be back.
17:05Question, how much does our funeral go for these days?
17:08I guarantee the figure you're thinking is way smaller than the actual cost.
17:13Because even though life is priceless, death is real expensive.
17:18But CUNA Caribbean's Family Indemnity Plan can help.
17:21For things like sudden funeral costs, plus the other bills left behind that could threaten your finances.
17:28And imagine, for a monthly payment of less than $70, you could cover up to nine family members.
17:34And you don't have to take a medical exam to sign up.
17:37So don't stick.
17:39Get the Family Indemnity Plan.
17:41Why?
17:41Because it's a good thing.
17:44Trust me.
17:50After 40, we need skin care that works as hard as we do.
17:54New Triple Power Serum with peptides, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin C.
17:58Visibly reduces wrinkles, firms, and evens tone.
18:02New Triple Power Serum by L'Oreal Paris.
18:05We're worth it.
18:06In every room, vision sets the standard.
18:08For a limited time only, get your progressive transition lenses with an anti-reflective coating,
18:13designer frames, and eye exams starting at $1,650.

18:21For the investigations that matter most to TNT, turn to the team you trust.
18:25The TV6 News.
18:26We do the work to uncover the facts, ask the important questions,
18:30and report on the issues that impact your community and the nation at large.
18:33This is more than just news.
18:35It's accountability.
18:37The undisputed number one program in Trinidad and Tobago.
18:40Delivering the hard-hitting investigations you rely on.
18:43The TV6 News.
18:44Revealing facts.
18:45Provoking opinions.
18:49So you have big plans for the end.
18:52A trip in July, birthday in November, and fat after fat this carnival.
18:59But you know what is the plans?
19:00A $22,500 fine.
19:06You know what else could really stop your plans?
19:09Five years imprisonment and suspension on your license for three years.
19:14Don't drink and drive.
19:33And we are back.
19:34And of course, Captain is back with us, Captain Rambert.
19:37And I'm so happy that he's here to officially start our week as usual.
19:40And apart from that, we have to update the people with the missing persons.
19:45All right.
19:46So Whitney, for the month of May thus far, we've had 20 reports of missing persons.
19:50And we still have five outstanding.
19:53For the period we were in Tobago, there were some reports, but they were resolved.
19:59And sometimes, I would tell you this, when you're in a marine environment as harsh as we were, you have
20:06to put away your phone.
20:07Yes.
20:07You have to secure your phone.
20:08You're unable to take calls.
20:10But you know, in the night then, when you come back in at 10, 11, it's hard to return calls
20:15because people are asleep.
20:16But we've had 20 reports thus far and five persons still outstanding.
20:22We still have Stephen McKee.
20:24Now, Stephen, we know that Stephen is alive and in and around Port of Spain.
20:29I have to follow up on him in tomorrow's business.
20:34He's age 81, from Woodbrook, and he has been wandering through Port of Spain.
20:40If you see Stephen McKee, please call us at 799-1453 or the Woodbrook Police Station.
20:49No word thus far on Israel and Bertrand.
20:52So if you have information on Israel, Bertrand from Matilda Road in Princess Town, please call us.
20:59He's age 30.
21:01And we're still trying to get some additional information.
21:05We got some information on him, but we still have to verify it.
21:09Now, Peter Isaac's family, they were calling me constantly while I was in Tobago.
21:15If you recall, I think with Desi Simon, we would have updated and we would have gone on searches just
21:21prior to our departure to Tobago.
21:24He's from Chase Village, Choguanas, and we're in constant contact with his family.
21:30And so sometime this week we have to go back or we have to return to see if we can
21:35locate Peter Isaac.
21:36So if you have information on Peter, please call 799-1453 or the police at 800-TIPS-999-5555 or
21:49the Choguanas Police Station.
21:51Because Angelo's body has not been recovered, and I have to use the word recovered, we still will have to
22:01post him as missing.
22:03And so if you have, I can't say information, but you know we're still asking you to be vigilant.
22:10Yeah, let's see what we can get, because his body is yet to be found.
22:18We have one missing person report that came in today.
22:22And on my way up with me, I received a call from the Trinidad-Tabigo Police Service.
22:27And they have information on his whereabouts, he's alive.
22:32I have to communicate that information to his family as soon as the program is finished.
22:38So we need not pay attention to Romano Roberts.
22:43As we move, we have a caller on the line.
22:46Caller, good evening.
22:48Good evening.
22:49Good evening to you, sir.
22:51Good evening.
22:53Hello?
22:54Good afternoon.
22:55Good evening.
22:56Good evening.
22:57Good afternoon.
22:59Good afternoon, Mr. Robert.
23:02Good afternoon.
23:02This is a caller here from the court that's been here, right?
23:06It's how I was actually going to stop him a lot.
23:09So I was going to say, go on.
23:11How is this going to go?
23:13Oh, God, what is this?
23:16And I want to ask the public service.
23:19How is this, that mother, how is this, how is this going to go free?
23:24What is this?
23:24What's going to go on?
23:26I understand that.
23:28I get this eye out to me because that's the mother of the child.
23:34You understand?
23:35Oh, God.
23:36That's your nation.
23:37And what is this?
23:39What is this now?
23:40The next thing now, where are you starting?
23:42It's starting to message us.
23:44I want to ask you, right?
23:46And with this video now, you see him fully shooting.
23:49You see him fully shooting.
23:52You see him fully shooting.
23:53You see him fully shooting over it.
23:55I know that she's already dealing with my brother.
24:00And with he was going my, I don't know what it is doing.
24:03So I can't stop or check the language.
24:05No, I don't know what it is doing.
24:07But this is actually, it's hurting everybody.
24:11Even as he comes on, we see it is trouble.
24:21yeah the pain and I think I spoke of that at the start of the program we've
24:25been going to an emotional rollercoaster you know we left Tobago emotionally
24:31dream I said it publicly well we saw you when you were right it was it was and
24:39caller we can go into details of the what transfer into big ways no sub judici the
24:47gentleman has been charged but the fact remains was let me tell you what happened
24:53on the ground when we got to goodwood this community was in an uproar right they were
24:59pointing fingers at the gentleman what was concerning caller was in fact that the
25:05mother remained expressionless and it remained she didn't display any signs
25:10of emotion now the thing is the police would have conducted their
25:17investigations and they would have deemed that she was not culpable in any regard
25:23so we have to look and see what takes place from now with respect to the
25:29ongoing murder charge but here it is yes in the dump and you know people ask me
25:35what it is like being in the dump needy yeah did the landfill the study parcel
25:41landfill it is it smells of rubbish of course but any foul stench able to pick it
25:49up so I picked up one stench there I needed to go and check that but I knew what I
25:54was
25:54looking for all right and we have several others who descended on the sides of the landfill that
26:01landfill is a well-organized landfill so if there's a structure inside of the idea several pits but you
26:08know this thing is this is what you were telling me during the break yeah captain yeah
26:15I mean it's not easy it was not anyone to be looking for a two-year-old child yeah let's
26:23start day it is disturbing I've been through it all in a dump and and this is the second two
26:30-year-old boy
26:31yes that I've searched for and first one was Kimani Francis some point fought it his his he was found
26:38in a river and his post-mortem said that it was
26:42drowning and when this one came up I said Kimani Francis all over I have I had to go we
26:49had to go
26:49yes but we know that it's just now really and truly y'all are still trying to figure out where
26:56to search
26:56because it's like a wild hunt yeah we were all over you know pig farm as I said earlier all
27:03over
27:03all over I mean I was trying to us also and we had a search area but I was telling
27:09you guys we need
27:09when we take lunch we spare five minutes run up to the cemetery take our video post it they kept
27:16saying
27:16the door kennel the door kennel we were through that the PD around the house twice once with the police
27:24of the door kennel everything every possible thing that was said online we double checked everything
27:31the septic tank was small but it was properly sealed we check every um Whitney there's nothing
27:39could escape us you know even when the persons were asking for the sniffer dogs where the sniffer dogs
27:46I had to ask PC hands I said listen you know when we were the police we don't take pictures
27:50and videos
27:51right you have to respect them and their jobs I said to PC hands and allow me just to do
27:58a video
27:59with you and one of the dogs if people they wanted one to do nine adults and they even battered
28:06us well
28:06how come we are hunting group and we do have hunting dogs on the scene hunting dogs are there to
28:12chase
28:13living animals sniffer cadaver dogs human dogs that could sniff for human remains as a special
28:21as field and they were there on the ground with us captain i am i'm letting you know this is
28:29something where this roller coaster ride is literally riding at almost 200 kilometers per hour it was
28:37because it's like it's not ending you're not coming and there wasn't there was no way for us to isolate
28:44ourselves to to keep away from what the residents was telling us to keep up with the our page a
28:52small page
28:53we had 11 million interactions in a 10-day period we i there was one person who was with us
29:03was just
29:04monitoring the page and the comments the comments in particular this guy that interests not only within
29:12trinidad and tobago but obviously regionally and internationally well captain i mean everyone
29:19was saying which is going to happen hopefully that once you all show up something you'll get some
29:23information we have another caller caller good evening good evening sir good evening
29:53sir what area were you in because i only saw a glimpse of it on social media what area are
29:59you from
30:02you're from point point okay and you saw clairs v yeah yeah so caller it was a spacex
30:17aircraft i'm not an aircraft a spacex spacex spacecraft that was being on a tested flight the flight path was
30:28announced prior to it being visible and so immediately i saw it and i saw the notice
30:35when it was going to be launched and when it was expected to go down in the seas of san
30:41diego so it
30:42was a target it was a prescribed um flight pass so immediately i saw the videos going up i knew
30:50what
30:51what it was and i went back on the live tracker and um it doesn't mean to say it passed
30:56over 0.40 because
30:57it's a spacecraft it's far out yeah so you can see it but anyway anyway so um it did pass
31:05through our region
31:06and where it was a spacex spacecraft being tested interesting we take that break we'll be back

33:23it's not a thrill when your speed can't kill
33:41and welcome back now captain we must continue to keep our viewers sharp when it comes to your road
33:47safety so let's sharpen those lens by heading back to basic let's take a look
34:00i'm sergeant batson the police strategic road safety project coordinator
34:05today the ttps will be embarking on a little project to help educate road users and we wish to
34:11remind motorists the importance of obeying road traffic regulations to help keep the road safer
34:17whether you're a pedestrian a driver a motorcyclist or a cyclist we all have our part to play today we
34:24are
34:24dealing with road safety everyone believe that they are safe driver but how can you obey the law if you
34:31don't know the regulations so today we are testing your knowledge of the regulations and taking you back to basics
34:41so i have a question please how about if i ask you two questions and give you one
34:47sign sign signal or sign all right go ahead all right yeah right so number one if the signal light
34:55changes from green to amber lights as you approach the intersection what must you do a stop if a stop
35:02cannot be made safely proceed with caution b sung the horn to warn the pedestrians and other drivers c continue
35:10through the intersection without slowing or stopping d speed up to clear the intersections as quickly as
35:17possible so which answer is number one a little bit right so question two right which of the following
35:25actions when performed while driving is considered distracted driving texting talking on the phone adjusting
35:34the radio focusing on the family but sir i don't even know why i wouldn't pull you over for because
35:41you look like listening man you are right and this is the last one easy one easy one easy one
35:46right
35:47this nice big red dot here with the dash in the middle here what does that sign means
36:12one way and nobody can't go down there they're going left they're going
36:21one way so there's no entry no entry
36:27but you ain't no bad yeah yeah yeah right these are good things a little bit but here i want
36:32to do
36:32right i wanted to just take a little shop you know on the regulations right no problem and also
36:38encourage others to do so especially the younger drivers right i do that i will do that i appreciate
36:43that so sir even though you get two out of three you're going to take that right yeah so you
36:49have a good day
36:50thank you and thank you for participating right well all right that was one of the drivers we stopped
36:54here and being there too bad two out of three not that bad but we're looking to get a three
37:02out of
37:03three because road signs are very important and road signs could save lives so we're going to try again
37:09and let me see if we can get somebody to get three out of three
37:20it's always good to go back to basic captain i'm sure you know all these things you're constantly on the
37:26road and um it's it's important it's very important and um what pc bearbell and the team is doing is
37:34an
37:34excellent job i read today where the new ministry of transport said they're going to revisit and come
37:40up with a new comprehensive road safety plan and that is needed because um there are some many persons
37:48who still feel that you don't have to make hand signals and so they drive with your air conditioning and
37:54glass you know in any vehicle with a glass up but sometimes you know those hand signals are important
38:00and um so they need to to revisit and and and come up with with new ways of educating the
38:09public in terms
38:10of what's what what is required from the motoring public you know in canada um you have to appreciate
38:18that almost every citizen who is driving obese every single traffic captain when we leave trinidad and
38:27tobago and we head to as we say america yeah we all all of a sudden we know if the
38:34laws and we know
38:35more than the citizens who live there correct you absolutely correct so we have it in us right
38:42just do the right thing yeah we have another call on the line call a good evening
38:48hello hello hello good evening good evening fine thank you all right quickly um boy
38:57i really hope i'll find this assignment boy good um but i just find these kind of things so terrible
39:08i don't know you know you know i don't know what experience going through but i i really hope we're
39:12not excited please go ahead
39:13the other thing i want sorry sorry all right i wanted to use the platform to highlight something

40:03the two of trump tobago thank you so very much thank you i think we'll have to pass that on
40:09to
40:09marlon yes morning edition but i would tell you this sir we went to report without tickets
40:16well i mean captain and we were given priority treatment you know why and i want to say thanks
40:25to report people but the first the caller first spoke about simon there's a guy with the car who
40:31is missing call i spent one hour with his father on the phone this morning six o'clock sorry seven
40:38o'clock to eight o'clock this morning and that father that father is really really um concerned for
40:47his son and i just had to try and counsel him because that is what i end up doing anyway
40:52but you know with
40:53day five since he is missing and there has been absolutely no information forthcoming on either
41:00him or his car it is it is cause for concern um and we report issue i was online the
41:08team we plan in
41:10advance so whitney we were planning we the team has to go to big of our three day training august
41:18uh i've been monitoring this if august schedule come in um come out as yet and he's concerned about
41:24right yes so you know it's a cause for concern but you should email the port authority um the entire
41:32land ferry and see they will probably indicate to you what's the problem or go by air oh yeah that's

46:10thank you thank you yes i said thank you so much for you know acknowledging i receive it so you're
46:18good
46:27yes yes it did no but captain i mean you um continue to work with so many
46:48people in this case the topic of discussion is finding two-year-old angelo and you were able to
46:54work with one of the major agencies teamwork yeah how was that like it was excellent because once i got
47:00her to be go i contacted um the director day alan stewart i had the opportunity to tell alan that
47:07he's one
47:08of my personal role models and he's excellent he was well prepared for us listen the radios were fantastic
47:18they could have covered the hillside the rocks and everything and they also gave us um these trackers
47:25so they were able to track our movements we had the best drone in the trinidad and tobago with us
47:32and it was they did they did they're an excellent team and i asked um chief secretary farley to please
47:40cherish that gem polish it and keep alan well he's excellent you see those maps there yes you see that
47:47dark circle there um jackie that was the area of focus there so we would go every morning at 7
47:5515 a.m
47:57alan does make joke as his briefings and he would go on the interactive map and he would say captain
48:03you
48:03come up tell me where you're going today what is the task for today of course on any given day
48:09that
48:10would go haywire and we would still have to return even if it's dark to try to complete our task
48:16so alan
48:17stewart and lloy thomas and john and the crew there they stuck with us right through um providing us with
48:25meals making sure we had cold drinks and ensuring that our communication and logistical support was
48:32there at all times i also wanted to say thanks i didn't have any um photos to bring to the
48:37tobago
48:38house of assembly and to thank chief secretary um valley augustine for the support um the deputy
48:47uh chief secretary dr fitz brebner as well as um assistant secretary um from tobago uh your two team
48:57members oh yes i will come to them in a while and then th we want to say thanks to
49:02you you guys who
49:03supported us well and then i want to thank our team they they the the the team from trinidad and
49:11our two
49:12members in tobago they did an excellent job and i want to make mention of um hulk um tunga who
49:20is here
49:20with me in the studio today and then we had um jami rican chingham as they ascended and descended those
49:29cliffs like crabs they dangled from ropes and those teamer guys said they never saw anything like that in
49:39their lives they were swift they were up and down and they were just getting the job done so to
49:45our
49:45team i want to say thank you you all did an excellent job and especially to our two tobago members
49:52kester
49:53jerry and verena heart you all did a uh supported us tremendously so we had a good team of 10
50:02in tobago
50:03and this is verena that she she she she worked with us well in tobago and then you had kester
50:10jerry
50:11who is the other tobago member but had soft agree team yes commanding each and everyone and everyone
50:18who was a part of this is kester jerry here yes right and he performed well and he brought his
50:23dog as well
50:24one boy he's a good sniffer dog and um he used utilized and supported us throughout our stay in tobago
50:34and we may have you back into bigger once again we never know you have a call on the line
50:38call
50:39good evening hello caller
50:46hello hello all right i think the caller may be of left but at this time you remember you also
50:54have
50:54the opportunity to continue giving us a call at six two three 17 11 extension 1996 and 1997 now captain
51:03dealing with a situation like this where you usually when you show up on a search you gather some sort
51:11of
51:11results and we bring closure you are now back into that how are you feeling but we feel we we
51:18didn't it
51:19wasn't a good feeling knowing that we didn't um get to find our target um we we we but we
51:28did search
51:29goodwood thoroughly um everywhere in goodwood we switched and um there was either two things is either
51:39he was transported angelo's body on foot or by vehicle vehicle but we also noticed that those who were other
51:51five who were detained those who were
51:54concerning uh mobile transport vehicle or transport and so they were freed so we came to the conclusion that he
52:02had to do it on foot
52:04okay and so it limited so no one saw anything anything i wonder before i go before i go dealing
52:11with
52:11with the question yes he he he would be disappointed if i didn't mention his name mr francis rubley yes
52:20from
52:20goodwood i want to say shout out to you and your wife who is in canada he made coffee for
52:25us every evening we
52:27are coffee loving team so after about 5 pm we'll go to his house and he would prepare coffee for
52:33all of
52:33us but francis rubley yeah this is our team i want just to say um hats off to them we
52:42have starting from
52:43left to right quickly we have jamie rakan johnny miraj myself the incredible hulk who is who likes to wear
52:50this
52:51come over here to protect his jersey casraj tunga sooktan and neil sukram and glenn um the glenn glenn glenn
53:00glenn robinson now that is glenn robinson's house okay now we stayed at this is a three-story house with
53:06a
53:06swimming pool advertising for glenn it's just high up um it's in lambo and um it's an excellent place to
53:14stay and i want to say thanks to glenn for affording us accommodation during our stay in tobago but um
53:22francis
53:23rubley he lived right next door yes and he said anything that moved there people were outside right
53:31they would have seen right and um so that d d d d d saying about him being moved from
53:43the house to the sea
53:44really became high probability high probability now you know there are so many questions captain that
53:54i really want to ask yeah but i know i am unable to do so because of yeah where the
54:01case is no sub gdc
54:03but i'll tell you this in in a toddler in a watery environment is difficult it's almost difficult to find
54:11of course um an adult because of the stomach contents and the biogas that will develop will cause it to
54:18float like the gentleman in blemen but not with that size yeah but he's a smaller depend on the amount
54:24of
54:25contents he had in his stomach and the stomach's ability to bloat and keep him afloat and then he
54:31if it is that as it was said that he was thrown into the washing machine the chances of recovery
54:38would
54:39have been minimal we left disappointed but we left understanding the science behind the marine
54:46and for mine i mean just repeat to the public especially person to me yeah i've just tuned
54:51and i don't want anybody to say when you get he was the child was placed in the washing machine
54:56thinking
54:57the child was actually placed in a washing machine and yeah why we use yeah so the washing machine is
55:02israel israeli the it's it's it's it's called the washing machine by the people in goodwood it's an
55:08area where long beach meets a rocky cliff in like this so when the wave comes in it spins like
55:16this on
55:16this corner here and i don't know jackie could be able to get out and the house is right here
55:21and there's
55:21a track but because of this rocky cliff here yes the the the water spins like that and there are
55:28rocks all
55:29around all around spins there continuously for 24 seven right this is the what is referred to as the
55:37the uh the washing machine in goodwood i just want it's a difficulty because when some people may now
55:44tune in they'll go up and say captain said the child was placed in a washing machine and so we
55:48want to
55:49clear that out of the water movement in this rocky area being shown there and you know one person approached
55:58me and said the gentleman is was calculated yeah i believe that and therefore i think it's also
56:04calculated if he chose that side all over yeah to find a child but if he chose there if he
56:10chose there
56:11it was total i could say that i could say that yeah yeah okay let's make ensure i don't want
56:18to get a
56:19letter stating you know otherwise but or being halted yes i don't have the court clues i don't have the
56:24court clues captain we have a few seconds like less than 60 seconds you could speak to the public as
56:30we
56:30close off yeah um throughout throughout the goodwood area um in tobago when we got there the community
56:38raised its voice with respect of domestic violence to females and children we had this situation in tobago
56:50yeah yet still it was yeah yet still we didn't bring it to the attention of anybody please just pay
56:59attention to our children and women in our communities thank you so much captain guys we'll be back
57:05tomorrow's same time same place news is up next at seven god bless we're out
