00:02I don't know about you, but my routine changes a little bit from season to season.
00:06So I'm going to be showing you my summer skincare and my summer makeup routine.
00:12Obviously, my makeup changes from day to day. I'm obsessed with makeup.
00:15I have like a whole drawer unit full of it.
00:19But this is a look that I've been wearing a lot lately.
00:22But before we get into it, please make sure you are subscribed.
00:25Little red button down below. You know the drill.
00:27Enough rambling. Let's start.
00:29So depending on how my skin is feeling that day, I will use one of two toners.
00:33The first of which is this Trader Joe's Rose Water Toner.
00:37I like it because it has a nice fine spray.
00:43It smells really good. It feels very, very nice, light hydrating.
00:47And then I follow up with a serum. It's from The Ordinary.
00:50It's the Niacinamide and Zinc Serum.
00:52So what's good about this is it doesn't pill or feel weird under makeup.
00:56I use this pretty much every morning.
01:02And then I will follow up with a moisturizer.
01:05From Ursa Major. It's the Daily Defense Lotion.
01:07It has SPF 18. It's a mineral sunscreen.
01:10I'm all about getting that SPF protection in your moisturizer and then following up with more as needed.
01:20So once my skincare is on, I go into what I consider like a makeup slash skincare step.
01:27This is the Jouer Anti-Blemish Matte Primer.
01:30And this has been my favorite summer primer for over two years now.
01:36Like all these products, very lightweight. It's cooling on the skin.
01:39And I will apply that focusing it on my T-zone.
01:43So on my nose, on my chin, in this area where I tend to get very oily.
01:48And then I'll take the excess and just rub it all over.
01:53Okay, moving right along to base.
01:56So in the summer, I don't like to wear a lot of face makeup.
01:59I will often just use concealer all over my face or I'll use some sort of like tinted moisturizer.
02:04And this is another Jouer product. It is the Matte Moisture Tint.
02:08It has SPF 15 and I am in the shade Linen.
02:17So that is coverage on.
02:20I powder every day. I cannot not powder. I have quite oily skin.
02:24So I'm using the Laura Mercier translucent powder, which is honestly like my favorite powder.
02:29It's so, it's, I mean, everyone and their mother talks about this.
02:33Everyone and their mother uses this, but it's for good reason.
02:35It is a beautiful, finely milled, loose setting powder.
02:39I will focus the powder on my T-zone.
02:42So on my nose, especially because I get very oily.
02:46And then I'll bring the rest of the powder out to the rest of my face.
02:49I'm going to do some blush.
02:51This is the Burt's Bees blush in the shade Bare Peach.
02:56I love that it's like this, wait, what is it?
03:03Hexagonal.
03:03I like that it's a hexagonal, like honeycomb-y shape.
03:07I don't like to wear a lot of blush.
03:09I feel like sometimes it can look a little bit intense on me,
03:12but I do find that the touch of it makes my face look a little bit more alive.
03:16So bronzer.
03:17This is another product I've had for a really long time.
03:21It's super beat up.
03:23It's called the Makeup Forever Pro Fusion Bronzer.
03:26It doesn't feel like normal powder.
03:28It has this creamy-ness to it.
03:30And when you put it on, it actually almost just like fuses into your skin.
03:34On the day-to-day, I don't want anything like super contoured.
03:37I don't want it to be very super chiseled.
03:39I just want a little bit of glow and a little bit of whatever.
03:41Oh, it's also waterproof.
03:43I'm going to move on to highlighter.
03:45So this is the Nudestix Nudies All Over Face Color in the shade Hey Honey.
03:51The texture of the highlighter itself is almost tacky.
03:57I like to use a highlighter that is like a cream or has a bit more of a wet effect
04:03to it.
04:04So this is the Urban Day Primer Potion.
04:06I've been using it since high school, back when the tube was like a squeezy tube instead of a doe
04:11foot.
04:13Not going to lie, I prefer the squeezy tube.
04:15It's a classic.
04:16Nothing more to say.
04:18So, eyeshadow.
04:19This is the Huda Beauty Gemstone Obsessions Palette.
04:22It is one that I've been using a lot.
04:23It's super tiny and you can just throw it in a bag.
04:26It's so pretty.
04:27What I've been liking is kind of like a haze, like an eye glow.
04:32So what I use is this Sigma Blending E25 brush.
04:37Sort of looks like a MAC 217, like, you know, has a bit of a flat edit to it, but
04:41still is fluffy.
04:42I'm still fine with it.
04:43I'm going to stick my little brush into this lighter purple shade.
04:47No names.
04:48Sorry.
04:54You know, for the day to day, I kind of like that like softer, glowy look.
04:59I kind of like to think of it as like I'm tickling my eyelid.
05:02With the color.
05:05And then, I put a little bit of this pink shade on the center.
05:11Just for funsies.
05:18I'm going to move on to mascara.
05:20This is a Tweezerman eyelash curler.
05:23They're good, affordable options.
05:25I'm using this waterproof Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara, which I've used in another video.
05:33And it has quickly become one of my favorites.
05:36I mean, look at the diff.
05:40All right, then I move on to eyebrows.
05:42I have had my eyebrows microbladed.
05:45It's been maybe two years since I got them microbladed, so they are fading a little bit.
05:51So what I'll do is I will put a little bit of a tinted brow gel in.
05:54It's the Hourglass Arch Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel.
05:58I have barely really any eyebrow hair.
06:01So I have to be very careful not to get it all over the place.
06:05And then the final part.
06:07So I have a few options here.
06:09Two of these are the NARS Velvet Lip Glides.
06:14And then I also have the Pat McGrath Lip Gloss.
06:18I'm actually going to use this because I really like wearing this because I think it matches the eyes really
06:22well.
06:23And that's it.
06:25If I need something to last a little bit longer, I'll switch the lipstick out for like a matte lipstick
06:29or a liquid lipstick or something.
06:31But that's the look.
06:34Lasts all day.
06:35Haven't had a problem with it yet.
