00:02Today we are doing another 12-hour wear test.
00:05Last time we did this, we tested metallic lipsticks,
00:08but this time we are testing cult makeup products.
00:12It is very, very, very cold in New York today,
00:15and we're going to be doing some fun seasonal activities
00:17to put these products through the ringer to see if
00:20A, they hold up to their reputation,
00:22and B, if they hold up to their claims.
00:24So I've got three products to wear today,
00:27the first of which is this foundation from Estee Lauder.
00:30It is the Double Wear Foundation.
00:32Very, very popular item.
00:34It's supposed to stay on for 24 hours,
00:37so we'll see about that.
00:38And then eyeshadow-wise, I'm going to use this beautiful eyeshadow from Bastila.
00:43It's from the Magnificent Metals Collection.
00:45It's super glittery.
00:46I'm going to wear this all over my eyes.
00:48It is a long wearing.
00:48It has the most beautiful glitter going through it.
00:52And then to complement this,
00:54I'm going to be wearing Sephora's Cream Lip Stain in the shade Always Red.
00:58I got it because everyone I watched on YouTube was obsessed with this lipstick.
01:04It's like the perfect red.
01:05There you go.
01:06And we're going to see if it holds up.
01:08First things first, foundation.
01:12We got a match, people.
01:14So if you couldn't tell from my voice, I'm a little bit sick right now.
01:19I have a feeling this foundation is going to rub off my nose because I've been blowing my nose like
01:2420 times a day.
01:25I'm in that place when you're sick where your nose is literally like flaking off.
01:31So I mix a little bit of moisturizer into the formula.
01:35I'm putting that on my nose right now.
01:36And it already looks way better.
01:39It actually looks, dare I say, natural with this full coverage foundation, but it does.
01:43Alright, so this is the best it's going to be.
01:46Nose wise, it's pretty dry.
01:48The rest of my face looks great in my opinion.
01:50But I guess this is what happens when you go through an entire box of tissues in two and a
01:55half days.
01:56Moving right along to eyeshadow.
01:58This is smoldering satin.
02:00I almost said smoldering satin.
02:03This is so beautiful.
02:05It's so glittery.
02:06I'm going to put this all over my lid and blend it out.
02:10So I'm going to put this one onto my lid without primer, just straight on, see how it wears that
02:16way.
02:16And then on this eye I'm going to wear primer so we can see if there's a difference.
02:21So I diffuse that line a little and I'm going to use a little bit of my Modern Renaissance palette
02:26from Anastasia at Beverly Hills.
02:28I want the shadow to be the center of the eye look so I'm not going to do much more.
02:35I'm going to go in with another layer of the Stila so that the color really pops.
02:40It's so glittery!
02:41Alright, so this is the primerless eye and I'm going to do a very thin cat eye to complete the
02:45look.
02:46This is a really good eyeshadow for people who want to wear glitter but they don't want to mess with
02:50loose glitter.
02:51So this is the eye look done on the right side.
02:53I'm going to move on to the left side and I'm going to put a little bit of this Lorac
02:56primer onto my lid to see if using eyelid primer makes a difference.
03:00Back in with the glitter.
03:06Finishing off with a little bit of mascara and moving on to the lips.
03:13The foot applicator is pretty standard but it's a perfect size for getting around your lip line without a lip
03:18liner.
03:18It goes on in such a beautiful, comfortable way.
03:21It doesn't feel dry at all.
03:23It is a beautiful red.
03:24This is like a very good classic red shade.
03:28Nothing.
03:29I'm going to have a little bit of tea.
03:31A little bit.
03:32So this is the makeup done.
03:34Not to toot my own horn but I think I did a pretty good job.
03:38Eyeshadow I think is lovely.
03:40It's so glittery.
03:42The lipstick feels really good right now.
03:44We'll see how it holds up to more food and drinks later.
03:46Foundation wise, around my nose now, it doesn't actually look that bad.
03:51It doesn't look too dry.
03:53I think that mixing it with the moisturizer definitely helped.
03:55I didn't powder it because I want to see how it wears throughout the day without powder.
03:59So right now it is 9am.
04:00So far so good on the makeup front.
04:02I'm going to wear this makeup for 12 hours.
04:04I'm going to be doing some fun seasonal activities and you guys are going to come with me.
04:08So let's get started.
04:09Hey guys, it is 1pm and I just had a very slippery bowl of ramen and I gotta say the
04:16lipstick looks great.
04:18It is wearing a little bit just in the center of my lips which is like honestly not surprising but
04:24it did hold up.
04:25It still feels really good.
04:27It doesn't feel drying at all.
04:29It's not getting crusty.
04:30My skin looks good I think.
04:32I did blow my nose a few times.
04:34My nose is definitely a little red.
04:36So the foundation is coming off a little bit there but there's not really much you can do.
04:39So I'm going to reapply a little bit of my lipstick now.
04:42Really I only need to reapply it in the center of my lips.
04:45Still looks really good.
04:47Feels really good.
04:48Layered over itself beautifully.
04:49Didn't get crusty or cakey or thick.
04:51I'm going to brave the snow.
04:52I'm going to get a hot chocolate.
04:54I'm going to get the wind and the snow all over my face.
04:57And hopefully the makeup will stay on.
05:03It's so cold.
05:04I was not made for this weather.
05:07Hot chocolate time.
05:14Staying warm.
05:15That was quite an adventure.
05:17It was actually kind of fun.
05:18I'm all warm and toasty now so it's okay.
05:19It's around five o'clock.
05:21I had my hot chocolate.
05:23I did a snow angel.
05:25It's so windy.
05:26I was reading the news.
05:27I think it said up to 50 miles per hour of wind.
05:29I don't think I was out there during that part.
05:31But it was still pretty gnarly.
05:33I tried to lick a pole.
05:35But makeup wise the lipstick is starting to come off a little.
05:39It still feels really good despite it being really cold outside and very hot in the office.
05:45The foundation looks alright.
05:48Usually at this time by five o'clock I would have blotted my face with an oil blatter like twice.
05:52Eyeshadow wise the side that I didn't prime is definitely creasing.
05:56The side that I did put primer on isn't creasing at all.
05:59But after all like the winds there's definitely glitter like under my eyes.
06:03But other than that I'm really curious to see if I'll even have to blot like at all until nine.
06:09So I'll let you guys know how it's faring at 9pm.
06:11I just had some dinner lipstick wise.
06:15Staying on for the most part.
06:17But again wearing a lot in the center.
06:20Makeup wise it's starting to look a little dry.
06:23Not gonna lie.
06:24Especially around my nose.
06:26But I didn't have to blot my face a single time.
06:29And usually I'm like a two time at least blotter.
06:32So foundation definitely controls oil.
06:35It was like nuts.
06:37So really impressed with that.
06:39Eyeshadow wise creasing on the side that I didn't prime.
06:43On the side that I did prime it looks great.
06:44So definitely wear a primer.
06:46I think overall I think it did hold up.
06:47I think that I would do certain things differently next time.
06:51Definitely prime both eyelids.
06:52I would definitely you know add a little bit more moisturizer into the foundation next time I use it.
