00:02Sometime in the very cold, cold winter, my friend Michelle and I decided to book a spontaneous girl's trip to
00:10Tulum.
00:11I thought it would be a good opportunity to share with you guys what I'm going to be bringing with
00:14me in terms of long-wearing, kind of like summer-proof makeup.
00:18Let's get into this.
00:20So first things first, let's talk about skin prep.
00:22I'm going to be wearing the Pharmacy Green Screen Daily Sunscreen.
00:26This has SPF 30.
00:27I'm also going to be bringing a body sunscreen to wear all over, so do not worry.
00:34I will be protected.
00:36So on top of my sunscreen, I actually enjoy applying a couple drops of facial oil before I put on
00:42my concealer.
00:43This is the Meow Meow Tweet Juniper Carrot Seed Face Oil, which is actually refillable at a place called Package
00:50Free here in New York.
00:51If you guys watch my Zero Waste video, y'all know.
00:54And then I just press that onto my skin.
01:00So after that, I'll go in with the Fenty Beauty Pro Filter Concealer, and because I have the oil on
01:05it, it's going to give my skin a much fresher appearance.
01:07So I'm going to wear this all over my face, and then I'm going to blend it out with a
01:13damp sponge.
01:16A lot of people ask me why I do concealer all over my face in lieu of just wearing foundation,
01:24and this is just something that I really like.
01:26It's, A, so much more travel-friendly because it's so tiny.
01:29It covers everything.
01:31If you apply it right, it's not going to look cakey.
01:34And honestly, it just kind of saves me a step, and I'm lazy.
01:37So I'm obviously going to powder my skin because it's going to be very, very warm in Tulum.
01:41So this is the Milani Translucent Powder.
01:43Tap that, focusing on my T-zone, where I get the most oily, but then also just bringing out the
01:49product to the rest of my face.
01:50So next up is blush, and this is the CoverGirl True Blend Baked Blush.
01:54So I'm just going to take that on this Real Techniques blush brush, sweep that onto the apples of my
01:59cheeks, and blend up.
02:01So moving on to highlighter.
02:02This is the Milk Little Teeny Tiny Cream Highlighter in the shade...
02:08I don't even know.
02:10Turnt.
02:11These are so great because they're so travel-friendly, and honestly, it's going to take me forever to get through
02:19this mini highlight.
02:20So I'm just going to tap it on a cheekbones.
02:24It has, like, some chunky glitter pieces, so it does have this really cool, like, shimmery sheen to it.
02:32Let me know if you guys feel this way too, but when I'm wearing a lot of matte makeup, I
02:36love the way my skin looks, like, three or four hours into the day,
02:39when some of my natural oils have kind of seeped through, and my skin just looks super fresh and, like,
02:44juicy.
02:46Boom.
02:46Highlighter on.
02:47Okay, so moving on to eyes, and I always, always, always prime my eyes.
02:51This is my new favorite eyelid primer.
02:53It's by CoverGirl.
02:54It's called the Lid Lockup.
02:56It creates a really nice base for makeup, and it keeps my eyeshadows on a really long time.
03:03So I'm going to be using this C'est Moi pencil.
03:06It is in the shade Tangerine.
03:10It's gorgeous, kind of, like, marigold yellow.
03:12I'm just going to wear this yellow shade all over my lid and blend it out, and this is a
03:17look that I've been wearing a lot recently.
03:19I'm also going to tap in my fingers just to speed it along, and it sets and really doesn't move.
03:26I'm going to tightline with a liquid liner, which I know some people are going to be freaked out by
03:32this, but it is the longest wearing.
03:35Like, you can use a pencil, but liquid liner lasts the longest.
03:39I pull up my eyelid, and I brush on the color onto my tightline and kind of into my eyelashes.
03:44All right, so moving on to mascara.
03:45This is the CoverGirl Exhibitionist Waterproof Mascara.
03:56Got it on my eyelid.
04:01All right, so this is the eyes done.
04:02Very, very, very, very simple, but impactful.
04:06I'm going to put on a little bit of eyebrow gel.
04:07This is the Thrive Cosmetics Instant Brow Fix, and I'm really into this because of the very thin brush.
04:17It's super easy to brush through your eyebrows with it.
04:19It's a great color.
04:20And last but not least, we have lipstick.
04:22This is the Cosas lipstick in the shade Phoenix.
04:27Beautiful red.
04:28I've been wearing this nonstop, super comfortable, super hydrating.
04:32I think of this yellow, I would look beautiful with a pink lipstick too or a nude, so obviously do
04:37whatever suits you.
04:44I always, always, always take my ring finger and blend the edges just to create a softer effect to the
04:50lipstick.
04:51So this is the finished look.
04:52I'm obviously going to be bringing other makeup with me to Tulum, but this is definitely going to be a
04:56look that I will wear while I'm there.
04:58While I'm there, I'm going to vlog so you guys can see the makeup in action, see how it wears,
05:03see a little bit of the vacation too.

05:12I just put the makeup on.
05:14It's like 84 degrees.
05:15It's really, really, really hot.
05:17Right now, I think the makeup is looking really good.

05:23So we are biking around on this very, very warm 80 degree plus day.

05:42check-in on the makeup.
05:43I mean, I'm very dewy right now because I'm so sweaty, but here's a closer look.
05:49The eyeshadow looks like it's holding up really well, so is the tightline.
05:53A little bit of smudging here, I think was the eyeliner that I had in my tightline, but it looks
05:58pretty good.
05:58Lipstick looks great.
05:59I think my skin actually looks really nice and the Fenty concealer is holding up really well.
06:03I'm going to go have a smoothie now.
06:08I'm going to re-up my sunscreen with this cool powder from Supergoop and it has SPF 45.
06:16Hey guys, so it is a little past five o'clock.
06:18I've been wearing this makeup for eight hours now and I'm going to sign off here just because Michelle and
06:23I are going to go to dinner and I just want to be present at the dinner.
06:26I will say that I think makeup has held up really well.
06:29I think that the face makeup has essentially melted off.
06:32I cannot overemphasize how much I was sweating, so I'm pretty amazed that it's even a little bit there.
06:38Eyes have held up ridiculously well.
06:40I think it's just creasing just a little bit in the inner corner.
06:43Lipstick, I wasn't expecting to be very long wearing, so I've been applying it throughout the day.
