00:10I thought it might be fun to find out what the best sellers are at different retailers,
00:15try them out, and see if they're actually worth all the hype.

00:25So we are starting today with Amazon.
00:27I reached out to Amazon earlier this week and got a definitive list of all of their best-selling makeup.
00:33So obviously we're going to start with foundation.
00:35The best-selling foundation is the Maybelline Matte and Poreless Foundation.
00:41Doesn't have a ton of coverage, but the actual application of it feels really nice.
00:48It's interesting because on my cheeks it looks really natural, and then near my nose it's starting to look a
00:54little cakey.
00:56That might have been an application mistake on my part.
00:58Looking at this side by side, it did a very good job of smoothing over my pores.
01:04So I definitely think that my pores are much more visible on the side that I'm not wearing foundation.
01:13Moving right along.
01:13The best-selling concealer on Amazon is the LA Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer.
01:19So it comes out in like a brush applicator.
01:22I really like the texture of that.
01:24Good coverage.
01:25I think it like slides onto the skin really nicely.
01:29I like it.
01:30Alright, so to set my face I'm going to use the Dermablend Loose Setting Powder.
01:34I've like never put powder on with a puff before.
01:37I feel so Mary Antoinette.
01:39That's what happens when you use a puff that's so fun.
01:42You just like go on and on and on and you just...
01:43I'm baking it.
01:45I put a lot of powder on my face just now, but it doesn't look cakey.
01:48It actually looks really nice.
01:49Alright, so moving on to blush.
01:52The best-selling blush on Amazon is, drumroll, Milani Baked Blush.
01:59This is a very popular item.
02:01I have the shade Luminoso, which is arguably the most popular shade.
02:05Ooh!
02:06So pigmented.
02:08It has like a really pretty luminous...
02:10Well, it is called Luminoso.
02:12But it has like a really pretty iridescence running through it
02:15that I think is actually a very welcome addition to this look
02:18considering that I just really powdered my face.
02:21Like it's so matte right now.
02:23So next up is bronzer and the best-selling bronzer on Amazon
02:26is the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer, which I dropped and broke.
02:31So you could probably see it.
02:33Ooh!
02:34It'll still work.
02:35It smells like sunscreen.
02:44It smells really good.
02:46There are a few other shades that are in this lineup,
02:48but this one is nice because it's kind of a more cooler toned bronzer
02:52so you can kind of sculpt with it.
02:53Although I will say it's a pretty sheer formula.
02:56Alright, so next up is highlighter.
02:57And this Maybelline strobing stick is the shade Light.
03:03And this is a very, very pretty highlighter.
03:05Like look at it.
03:06It's so almost metallic.
03:09Unlike a lot of cream highlighters that have a very dewy, almost wet look,
03:13this one, it almost feels cream to powder.
03:16Like it doesn't have that slickness that others have.
03:18So I think a lot of the products that I just used,
03:22I wasn't all that surprised that they were the popular best sellers on Amazon.
03:27But this product, the Wonder 2 One Step Brow Gel, I was a little bit like,
03:32oh, that's surprising.
03:34Very hard to describe this.
03:35It comes with a separate spoolie.
03:37And then the actual applicator is like a weird nubby brush.
03:43I don't think I'm going to apply this straight onto my eyebrows.
03:47I actually have an angled brush here that I'll probably use.
03:50Alright, so it says to fill in sparse areas.
03:53This is actually a lot sheerer than I thought it would be.
03:55So it's a little bit more, it's a little easier to work with because of that.
03:58Like it's not like you're going to go into your brow and it's going to be a huge hit of
04:01color.
04:02Alright, I'm not going to go too much with this,
04:04but I'm going to brush through my brow with a spoolie.
04:07And I'm going to get the product a little bit more in the sparse spots.
04:12And apparently this stuff is really easy to remove with just like an oil-based makeup remover.
04:19I'm going to let those dry and move along.
04:22Another interesting product is this Shani, Shani Eye and Lip Primer.
04:29I think I took a lot of product there.
04:33This is interesting.
04:34I'm very curious to see if this keeps my eyeshadow on.
04:37This is the LA Girl Eyeshadow Collection in the Nudes palette.
04:41I'm going to go into the brown shade just like sort of smack dab in the middle of the palette.
04:45They're a lot sheerer than I expected them to be.
04:49I actually might use a different brush, something a little bit more dense.
04:54Not a lot of fallout right now, which is nice.
04:56I'm going to use this kind of purply shade on the outer corner of that eye just to add a
05:04little bit of fun color.
05:06I'm going to attempt to do this with the brush that comes with the kit actually.
05:10It's a little better.
05:11I actually like these little spongy applicator things.
05:14Sometimes they do the job kind of like a finger would.
05:17Alright, so I've got my bronze on my lid.
05:19I've got my little kind of lilac-y shade.
05:21I'm going to blend.
05:22I'm going to use my good ol' spongy thing to bring the lilac and mix it with this matte shade
05:27under my eye.
05:29I feel like this lilac eye is nice with my hair.
05:33Alright, so that is the eyeshadow done.
05:35I'm going to move on to the other eye now.
05:38Magic!
05:39The next product on the list is this one from CoverGirl.
05:42It is an eyeliner.
05:43It's called the Perfect Point Plus.
05:45I have the black shade.
05:47And because I'm wearing so much eyeshadow, I think I'm going to stick to wearing this eyeliner just like in
05:53my tightline.
05:54Maybe a little bit on the like diffuse on my lash line, but nothing too crazy because I don't want
05:58it to be too intense.
05:59Alright, so I'm letting that dry.
06:02In the meantime, I'm going to take what got into my eyelashes and kind of blend it out.
06:08The eyeliner from my top lash line is already transferring down here, so we'll see.
06:13By the end of the day, I might have a very smoky eye.
06:15But, oh my gosh, this blended so well.
06:19Alright, so the best-selling waterproof mascara.
06:22It's the Colossal Volume Express mascara.
06:24Not going to lie, I'm not surprised by this one.
06:26Maybelline makes amazing mascaras.
06:28I've loved so many over the years.
06:30I like this one.
06:30And it has a nice little big brush.
06:36Good mascara.
06:38Good amount of volume.
06:39No complaints.
06:41Eyes.
06:42Done.
06:42And I'm moving on to lips.
06:43So I have two options.
06:45The ELF Moisturizing Lipstick.
06:47And the Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink.
06:51This is like kind of orangey-red shade.
06:52I'm going to go with this Ravishing Rose ELF Lipstick.
06:55So I actually love this ELF Moisturizing Lipstick formula.
06:59They are pigmented.
07:00They feel good.
07:02They're just very, very nice.
07:04So if you're looking...
07:04And they're $3.
07:05So you really can't go wrong.
07:11And that's it.
07:13My soft kind of lavender-y, pinky look today.
07:20I think the skin looks great.
07:22The foundation looks really nice.
07:24I think the eyes, I'm hoping, will last.
07:26But all in all, I'm quite pleased with these Amazon Best Sellers.
07:30So I'm going to wear this for the rest of the day.

07:38So it is 11pm.
07:41I've been wearing this makeup for like over 12 hours.
07:43I gotta say that the makeup did hold up for the first, I want to say, eight hours.
07:49And then it started to take a downhill turn.
07:52As you can see, the eyeshadow is really creasing.
07:55My eyes are very oily, really ate through that.
07:58I got some smudging under my eye.
08:00My skin looks really oily.
08:02I didn't powder again.
08:03But I will say the highlighter looks great.
08:05The lipstick was beautiful.
08:06It's definitely one you have to keep reapplying.
08:08But it's lovely.
08:09It's hydrating.
08:10The foundation still looks fine.
08:13It's starting to wear around my nose.
08:15Bronzer is still kind of there.
08:16Highlighter, boom.
08:19Mascara seems alright as well.
08:21Oh, and the brows.
08:23The brows stays.
08:25The brows are great.
