00:02Today we have a fun little makeup tutorial try-on type video featuring all best-selling makeup from Ulta.
00:10I reached out to some representatives from Ulta and they shared a list of their top performing products.
00:16I have them all here. I'm going to try them on. I'm going to show you.

00:24As you know, Beauty With Me comes out every Monday at 11 a.m.
00:27So first up is Naturally Foundation and I have the Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation.
00:34I have the shade Light Sand.
00:36This foundation has 6,000 reviews on Ulta and a rating of 4.5.
00:46I think that if you have very oily skin, you would love this foundation.
00:51But I think for my skin, it's a little bit too matte.
00:56So I'm going to stop there. I don't want to go too crazy with it.
00:59I'm going to move on to concealer.
01:00I've got some concealer here and NARS Creamy Radiant Concealer is one of the best sellers at Ulta.
01:05No surprise.
01:06I have the shade Cafe Con Leche.
01:08And I'm just going to dot this under my eyes and on any dark spots, blemishes.
01:14I think it has a very natural satiny finish that you can definitely build up.
01:19It definitely isn't like super dewy like you might think.
01:22So that's something to keep in mind.
01:24So next up is powder and I have this really weird powder.
01:27It's by Becca.
01:28It's called the Hydra Mist Setting Powder and it is a loose powder.
01:32It says keep close to keep me cool because it is the weirdest feeling powder.
01:37It feels wet.
01:40So if you have drier skin, it's great.
01:42But if you have very oily skin, you will get oily.
01:45Because I'm wearing such a matte foundation though that's like so long wearing,
01:50I think that this powder is actually a good thing to layer over top.
01:53Next up we have blush.
01:55This is the shade Impassioned.
01:56So I'm going to go in with this brush on the apples of my cheeks.
01:59I love the NARS matte blushes.
02:02It's just a good one.
02:04Bronzer.
02:04It's Benefit Hoola.
02:05I have this little mini one.
02:07It's so cute.
02:08It's great for travel.
02:09It's just a great matte bronzer that you can kind of use for bronzing and contouring.
02:13Nice and versatile.
02:14Base is on.
02:15So I'm going to move on to highlighter and I have a ColourPop product.
02:18So this is ColourPop Wisp.
02:20This is a Super Shock highlighter.
02:21It has the coolest like bouncy texture.
02:25I find best applied with fingers.
02:27Wisp is a very cool, interesting color because it's kind of champagne.
02:31It's kind of taupe.
02:32I think that it would look good on a lot of different skin tones.
02:34I always, always, always prime my eyes because they are so greasy.
02:39And I've got the Urban Decay Primer Potion right here.
02:42I'm just going to slap this onto my eyelids and move on.
02:48This is the Jaclyn Hill Morphe palette.
02:51It has a ton of different shades.
02:55Boop, boop, boop, boop, boop.
02:57So I'm going to go into this shade.
02:59It's like a matte burgundy.
03:01We're going to go for like a graphic wing situation.
03:06We'll see how it goes.
03:07I'm going in with this matte shadow and I'm going to create the shape of my wing first.
03:10So I'm going to start on the outer corner.
03:14Ooh, pigmented.
03:20Because I went in wet, shadow's getting a little patchy.
03:24Okay, I'll tell you what I should have done.
03:25I should have gone in wet to make the shape and then I should have, when I was filling it
03:29in, gone and dry.
03:31Going back to the palette.
03:32So I'm going to do this in the outer corner, this in the center, and I think a little bit
03:36of this in the inner corner.
03:38So I'm going to start with this one.
03:40So you usually do light, light to dark.
03:42I think I'm going to do dark to light.
03:46All right, that one was really pigmented.
03:48Let's see what that one's called.
03:49It's called Crayon Apple.
03:50So I'm going to go in with this one.
03:53Ooh.
03:56Ooh.
03:59Let's try this little fella right here.
04:04I really like this copper one.
04:08So I think this is as good as it's going to get.
04:10The shadows are very pigmented.
04:12They are very creamy.
04:13I think they apply really well with fingers.
04:15I think they apply nicely wet.
04:17I need to work with this palette more.
04:19I think that I need to practice this kind of look because I've never done it before.
04:23But I'm not going to bore you with the minutia.
04:25And I'm going to...
04:26Left eye?
04:27It's on.
04:28And gotta say it went much better.
04:31I think the ombres are a little bit more apparent.
04:33The eyeshadows are much more easy to work with.
04:35I think that, you know, for the first attempt on ombre wing, it's not too bad.
04:40So I'm going in with a little bit of eyeliner.
04:43Just...
04:43I'm thinking about a tight line only because the eye look is kind of a lot.
04:46So I have the Ulta Gel Eyeliner in the shade Blackout.
04:49This product has 2,910 reviews and like 4.5 stars.
04:55People really like this stuff.
04:56When I tight line like straight on the water line of my eye up on the top, it never stays.
05:02So what I do instead is I go underneath and I tight line under my eye but kind of more
05:08into the lash line.
05:09That way I'm kind of intensifying my upper lash line without going directly onto the water line where it's just
05:15going to slide right off.
05:16Very creamy.
05:17Nice. We'll see how it holds up for the rest of the day.
05:21Mascara time.
05:22And I have the L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise in Waterproof.
05:26So it has a really nice big like chunky wand.
05:30I think it's good for volume.
05:31It has like hair like bristles rather than like the silicone ones.
05:34Growing my eyelashes with my Tweezerman eyelash curler.
05:37So that is the eyelash situation done.
05:41A few of the best selling lipsticks are these from Lipstick Queen.
05:44I have the shades The Truth, The Whole Truth, and Nothing But The Truth.
05:48So this is the first one.
05:49It's called Nothing But The Truth.
05:52This one is The Truth.
05:54Ooh, much more like on the bubble gummy side.
05:57And this one's called The Whole Truth.
05:59Super similar.
06:01Hopefully The Truth will be the true for me.
06:04That didn't even make sense.
06:08This can't be The Truth.
06:09This kind of color would look fine if I didn't have such a warm eye.
06:13But you know what?
06:14I'm very impressed with the actual formula of the lipstick.
06:16So maybe go to the store and swatch it before you buy.

06:22I think that for an unplanned look kind of went into it like,

06:26And I think it turned out okay.

06:37Hey guys, so I am back home and it is 8.30.
06:40I've been wearing this makeup for eight and a half hours and the sun's about to set.
06:44So I thought I would just finish off the episode now while I still have light
06:47and you guys can still see the makeup of my face.
06:49The foundation, like I said, was pretty matte when I first put it on.
06:52But now my natural oils have kind of seeped through it and it looks really natural
06:57and kind of nice and like dewy in some areas.
06:59I'm pretty oily because it's been very humid outside.
07:01Highlighter is still popping.
07:02The concealer looks great still under my eyes.
07:04I have a little bit of wear underneath around my nose because I was blowing my nose earlier
07:09because I had curry for dinner.
07:10Lipstick wise, you know, I didn't expect much wear from that.
07:13It was a normal lipstick.
07:14The eyes held up amazing.
07:16The shadow is still so pigmented and so nice.
07:19The primer held on.
07:21The shadow didn't like fall underneath my eye.
07:23The mascara was great.
07:24But the eyeliner, that's what I was so impressed with.
07:27I don't have any smudging underneath my eye.
07:30Very small amounts, like a little bit here.
07:32Nothing too crazy.
07:33But eyeliners never stay in my tight line, but this one did.
07:35So good on you Ulta.
