00:11Valentine's Day is just around the corner,
00:13and today I have a very fun 12-hour wear test planned for you.
00:17I'm going to wear an entire face of NARS products.
00:20I'm going to test it all day.
00:22I'm going to The Lion King later with Colin, my boyfriend.
00:25It's going to be a nice little pre-Valentine's Day date.
00:27So I'm going to start with foundation naturally,
00:29and I have a very exciting new launch from NARS.
00:33This is the brand new Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation.
00:37It's supposed to last a purported 16 hours.
00:41We shall see.
00:43Pretty pricey, it comes in at $49,
00:45but I tend to really like NARS face products,
00:48so I'm pretty excited to try this one.
00:50In all of NARS foundations, I'm Fiji.
00:54It is catching a little bit on the dry patches on my nose.
00:59On my cheeks and chin and forehead, it looks really great.
01:03Alright, so on the skin, I think it applies really well.
01:06I think it looks really natural in most of the places of my face.
01:09Again, the only place I think it's catching is around my nose,
01:12but I just got over being pretty sick,
01:15so my skin on my nose is still kind of healing.
01:18I think One Pump really did a good job of evening out my skin tone.
01:23Concealer-wise, I have the classic NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer.
01:26This is the little mini version, which is really great for travel.
01:29And I'm just going to put that around my eyes and on top of some blemishes.
01:33So I love this concealer for under the eyes because it just blends so beautifully,
01:37especially when you use a beauty blender with it.
01:39So moving along into bronzer, and I have this really cute mini of NARS Laguna and Orgasm.
01:47So NARS Laguna over here is NARS' iconic bronzer,
01:52and then Orgasm is the brand's iconic blush.
01:54So I'm going to use Laguna because I do really love this shade as a bronzer and just a very
01:59subtle contour.
02:00I'm brushing this in the classic three motion onto my cheekbone, on my forehead, under my jaw.
02:09Bronzer always patchier on my left side! I don't understand!
02:13Will you guys let me know in the comments, again, even though I've asked you this before,
02:18if you have a better cheek when it comes to applying bronzer?
02:22Because I just don't know how to fix it.
02:25Like, this left side's always patchier.
02:28I'm going to go into blush now.
02:30This is my beloved NARS Dual Intensity Blush in the shade Sexual Content.
02:35This was a limited edition shade, but it is my favorite NARS. Please bring it back!
02:40It is a well-loved product.
02:42Now this is limited edition, as I said.
02:44There are a few other shades of Dual Intensity Blushes that I think can give you a similar effect.
02:49One of which is Fervor, and the second of which is Panic.
02:52The way that I like to use these is swirl the two shades together.
02:55And I usually try to hit the apple of my cheek and then sweep up.
02:59When I think about, like, a little bit from within glow, I think of this blush.
03:04I have a very exciting highlighter here.
03:07This is NARS Albatross.
03:10Right off the bat, I'm seeing it, but it's not super, like, in your face.
03:15And actually, on the cheek, it looks much more warm.
03:19In the pan, it looks so almost white on the cheek.
03:22It's, like, gold.
03:23It's really picking up the light really, really beautifully.
03:27Ooh!
03:30So I'm going to, as per usual, prime one eye and not prime the other eye,
03:35so that we can see how the products wear on their own and how they wear with a primer.
03:38Putting that onto my lid.
03:42Eyeshadow-wise, I have an eyeshadow duo that I really like.
03:46Like, I actually travel with this one a lot if I don't want to bring a full palette.
03:49This is the NARS eyeshadow duo in Hamamet.
03:53And sadly, this is also limited edition.
03:56I don't know why all of my favorite NARS products are limited edition, but it is beautiful.
04:01It has this, on the left side, there's a beautiful kind of rosy bronze.
04:06And then on the right side, there's this really pretty pale peachy brown cream.
04:13It's gorgeous.
04:14These are colors that are actually really similar to NARS Silk Road, so if you want to find that one.
04:19It looks kind of like Bor-Bor in the pan, but I just really love it to build it up
04:25and create a very natural crease.
04:26So you can do this to define your eyes and then just put a lot of mascara, and sometimes I'll
04:30just do that.
04:31But I'm going to do a little bit more, and I'm going to put this shade on the left all
04:36over my lid.
04:37Eyeliner time.
04:38I usually go for a liquid eyeliner, but I was thinking of going with something a little bit softer today.
04:43So I am going to be using the NARS Larger Than Life Longwear Eyeliners.
04:48So I think I'm going to go with a mixture of this matte brown and this bronze.
04:56All right, and this is as good as it's going to get.
04:59As you can see, I am not using a NARS mascara right now.
05:01This is a Shiseido waterproof mascara.
05:03NARS actually doesn't have a true waterproof mascara in the line.
05:08I'm going to let my lashes dry before I move on to anything else because I am one of those
05:11people.
05:12I will not let my mascara dry.
05:14I'll close my eye or something and there will be mascara all over my face.
05:17So it's less dry.
05:18And now on to, in my opinion, the best part, the cap to any makeup look, the lips.
05:26So I have two lipsticks here from NARS.
05:28These are the Velvet Matte Lip Pencils.
05:31Classic lipsticks from the line.
05:32They are supposed to be very long-wearing.
05:34So let's go with Never Say Never, this lilac-y pink.
05:38So I love these lipsticks.
05:39Because I have so many of the shades at home.
05:41But the one thing that I do think is a little bit of a hindrance is the way that it's
05:46packaged.
05:46This cap, if you don't secure it very tightly, it can fall off in your bag.
05:52And that's it!
05:57I'm a big fan of the makeup so far.
05:59We'll just see how it wears.

06:02I just had my lunch.
06:04So we'll see how this goes, how this works throughout the day.
06:08I'm going to go to the show, as you know.
06:10I'm probably going to have a few snacks in between.
06:12I'm going to carry the lipstick with me, just because I have to do any touch-ups.
06:15But everything else, we're going for it with the makeup.

06:28And we are about to enter the theater to watch The Lion King.
06:35Makeup is looking, skin-wise, looking really good.
06:38It was getting a little bit oily toward the end of the day.
06:40It's around 6 o'clock now.
06:42I just left work.
06:43The side with the primer is holding up really well.
06:46Shadow-wise, it's still there.
06:48On the side that I didn't prime, the shadow is creasing a lot.
06:53But the eyeliner actually is holding up on both sides.
06:56So 12-hour wear, pretty good.
06:59I think that the bronzer is fading a little bit.
07:02I think that this foundation is not matte and my skin is very oily.
07:08I think it would benefit from a little bit of powder right after application.
07:11But otherwise, I think the makeup still looks pretty good.

07:16We are back from the show.
07:17My face, you know, foundation-wise, I think that it's covering pretty well still.
07:23It's starting to show a little bit around my jawline.
07:27But otherwise, I think the coverage held up.
07:30It's starting to look a little bit oily.
07:32Like, I would definitely blot.
07:33If you're not oily, I think you'll love it.
07:34The finish is beautiful.
07:35It gives you a really dewy look.
07:38But personally, for me, toward the end of the day, I did get a little bit too oily.
07:42So I'd give it a little blot.
07:43So as you guys know, I wore primer on the left side and I didn't wear primer on the right
07:46side.
07:47But I think that they both held up pretty much equally as well.
07:50I think that the wing might be a little bit more crisp on the side that I wore primer.
07:54But other than that, it's not creasing the eyeliner.
07:56It still looks very, like, opaque.
08:00It still looks good.
08:01I'm getting a little bit of smudging on the bottom of my lids.
08:03But that's because at the end of The Lion King, I kind of cheered up a little bit.
08:06When they did the reprise of Circle of Life.
08:10But anyway, the eyeshadow is pretty nice still on the side that I primed.
08:16It's starting to crease just a touch toward the inner tear duct.
08:18But on the side that I didn't prime, it's creasing quite a bit.
08:23But what can you do?
08:25Not much when you have eyelids as oily as I do.
08:29Lipstick, in love.
08:30I love the color.
08:32I love how it feels.
08:33It doesn't feel dying.
08:34It didn't catch on any, like, dry patches on my lips.
08:38It stains so beautifully.
08:40Like, so nicely that I actually didn't even feel like I had to reapply earlier today.
08:45But I did just to see how it applied over itself.
08:48Which it did really well, by the way.
08:50The Laguna is still there.
08:52The blush, I think, has diffused quite a bit.
08:54Highlighter, I still think, is pretty popping.
08:57But other than that, it was good.
08:59Good.
