00:07The time has come again to test some makeup.
00:11Now, last year I tested some long wear makeup at the beach,
00:15but this year I'm upping the ante.
00:17I'm going to do all waterproof makeup.
00:20I'm going to go to the beach.
00:21I'm going to go in the water.
00:22I'm telling you it's going to be cold
00:24because it's not that warm in New York yet,
00:26but I'm doing it for you guys.

00:33You guys probably know this,

00:39So starting off with some sunscreen.
00:41This is the Babbo Botanicals Clear Zinc sunscreen.
00:44It doesn't contain any coral killing sunscreen ingredients.
00:48If you don't know about the dangers of chemical sunscreens,
00:51I will link my story down below.
00:53So foundation first.
00:54This is the Catrice Prime and Fine Makeup Transformer Drops.
00:59They basically turn any foundation into a waterproof formula.
01:03So I'm actually going to use a NARS foundation with this.
01:05I'm using the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation.
01:11So I just pumped about, you know,
01:13about the amount that I would use for my whole face.
01:15And I am going to mix it with, it says three drops.
01:19Oh, it comes out like a cream.
01:22So I don't really know how many...
01:23Okay, I guess like maybe that's enough.
01:25Huh?
01:28This waterproof transformer drop thing makes the foundation much more matte.
01:33I love that foundation because of the dewiness that it has.
01:37It definitely doesn't have that dewiness anymore,
01:39but I still think it looks fine.
01:41Moving on to concealer,
01:42and I have this Smashbox Studio Skin 24 Hour Waterproof Concealer.
01:47Nice coverage.
01:49This blends really nicely.
01:51Moving on to powder.
01:53Now I have this Essence All About Matte Powder.
01:56I've never used a waterproof powder before,
01:58so I'm very curious.
02:00Kind of focusing it more on the T-zone,
02:03where I get the most oily.
02:05So on my nose, forehead, chin.
02:10So bronzer time.
02:12I'm going to use this bronzer from Tarte.
02:14It's the Park Avenue Princess Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof Bronzer.
02:19My skin looks super matte right now, guys.
02:22It's so matte.
02:23I am into this bronzer so far.
02:26I want to look like beachy,
02:27but I don't want to look like Oompa Loompa.
02:30You know, it's a fine line.
02:31And the next thing I have is a water-resistant blush from Cargo.
02:37It's in the shade Bali.
02:38Pat and dust it onto my cheeks.
02:41I'm going to move on to highlighter.
02:43I couldn't actually find a waterproof formula,
02:45so I'm actually going to mix this
02:47with these liquid highlighter drops from Wet n Wild.
02:51If you guys know of any waterproof highlighters,
02:53let me know in the comments,
02:54because I'd love to try them.
02:56I have the shade Halo Goodbye.
02:58It's a really pretty pink pearly shade.
03:01It actually has a lot more dew, which I'm loving,
03:04because I think my skin needs a little bit more dew right now.
03:06Do you see it with the highlighter bobble?
03:09I like that highlighter a lot.
03:11So I don't usually do eyebrows, but I found this one.
03:15It's a Sephora Retractable Brow Pencil.
03:18I'm wearing the shade Natural Grey Brown.
03:19I remember in high school and middle school,
03:22I had super thin, like barely there eyebrows,
03:26so I'd wear eyebrow pencil to school,
03:28and it always made me really anxious having to go to the pool,
03:31because my eyebrows would come off.
03:32I wish I had this product back then.
03:34So the brow pencil itself was really nice.
03:36It was waxy.
03:37I'm not a huge fan of this comb.
03:39I think that it's kind of pushing my brow hairs in a nice direction,
03:42but it doesn't really do what a traditional spoolie would.
03:46For my eyes, I have this Nudestix Magnetic Eye Color,
03:51a crayon cream eyeshadow in the shade Queen Olive.
03:55I'm going to use this shade on my lash line,
03:57and kind of blend up for some definition.
03:59But I'm realizing now you have to work fast to blend these.
04:03Like, this is like pretty much already set.
04:07Next up, I have eyeliner,
04:08and this is the Pat McGrath Perma Precision Liquid Eyeliner.
04:12I just saw Pat McGrath yesterday,
04:14so I told her that we were going to use her eyeliner in this video,
04:17and she was so excited.
04:18It's always nice to see mother.
04:22I was like, that's what she doesn't call her!
04:25So anyway, this eyeliner is waterproof.
04:27It resists humidity.
04:29It lasts for 24 hours.
04:32Lots of claims on this fella.
04:34Pretty standard, thin, felt tip.
04:37So I have the Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara.
04:40It is in the waterproof formulation.
04:42The name of this always reminds me of Sex and the City.
04:45I think it does a really good job of making it look like I do have eyelashes.
04:49I actually have a waterproof lip liner from Laura Geller.
04:53It's called the Palette Perfection Waterproof Lip Liner in the shade Cabernet.
04:57And I'm going to put it all over my lips and wear it kind of like a lipstick.
05:00This color is so pretty.
05:01Okay, that was really easy to apply.
05:03And that's it.
05:04My whole face is waterproofed, guys.
05:06Well, in theory.
05:07We'll see how it goes.
05:09I'm going to go to the beach, probably have some food.
05:11We'll test this makeup out for the rest of the day,
05:14and you'll see if it truly lives up to its waterproof claims.

05:34So, I am back from the beach, and today was quite a day.
05:39We went all the way to Coney Island, had some pizza at Totono's,
05:43which is a 93-year-old OG pizza spot.
05:48It was so good.
05:51We just had some Totono's pizza.
05:53Honestly, the lip looks good, too.
05:55It just faded a little bit in the center.
05:56Then I put some lip liner back on so I could look fashionable at the beach.
06:00Are you filming me?
06:01Yep.
06:01And I went to go frolic around with my cameraman, Anthony's dog, named Pepper.
06:06And we played with a little frisbee, worked up a little sweat,
06:08and then I finally got into the water.
06:11Not gonna lie, it was very, very cold.
06:14I was a super wimp.
06:17Oh my god, it's so cold!
06:21No, I can't do this!
06:26I'm not doing this anymore!
06:28I can't!
06:29So I just got out of the water.
06:31It was freezing.
06:33Let's take a look at the makeup.
06:34The foundation's a little bit dry, so it looks a little bit cakier on my nose.
06:38The bronzer looks like it's washed away a little bit, but you can still see it.
06:41The eyebrows, eyes, all of that, lips, looks exactly the same.
06:45A little bit of smudging just here.
06:46I think that the makeup held up pretty well.
06:50The eyes, honestly, they look close to perfect.
06:54Eyebrows still look like they're on, faded just slightly.
06:57The lip stayed on, but it is starting to fade just a little bit.
07:02The base is where things were fading a little bit more.
07:04The foundation is still on, for the most part, on my cheeks, around my chin,
07:09but around my nose, it's starting to kind of come off in an almost patchy way.
07:15Highlighter is still there, so the Catrice Drops definitely kept the highlighter on.
07:19I can still see a bit of the bronzer, I can still see a bit of the blush, but they've
07:22definitely faded.
07:23I'm impressed. I could go out and go on with my regular day like this,
07:28and I don't think anyone would really be able to tell much of a difference.
07:31So all in all, honestly, this was a very, very fun video to shoot.
07:34It was cold for a moment, and it was very fun going into the water,
07:39but the whole day was really fun.
07:40We got to hang out, we got to play with a puppy.
