00:04hey guys it's me and and this is beauty with me this is our second live stream ever and it's

00:13kind of a special one because today is Amazon Prime Day which is a huge yearly sale that Amazon

00:19does where a bunch of products are super super discounted it's going on from this moment right

00:25now 3 p.m. Eastern Standard Time for the next 36 hours so I'm gonna be trying on some different

00:32products that are included in the sale some things that I really love already and some things that I've

00:37never tried before in hopes that it'll help you in terms of you informing your beauty product

00:42purchasing needs so I have a bunch of stuff here let me know in the comments if you have any

00:47questions

00:47on my beauty routine that sort of thing I see we already have a question you guys are so fast

00:52what's

00:53my favorite beauty product that's really hard I don't think that I could answer that question

00:57it changes so often what am I loving right now though I love em cosmetics which is the brand

01:04that Michelle Fawn launch it launched they just launched a lip gloss line and it is really good

01:10they're beautiful but we'll start with foundation this is the wonder to last and foundation it's a 24

01:19hour flawless coverage base I've never used it before but I have used a couple of items from

01:24this brand called wonder to before and I really liked them so I was excited to try this out especially

01:30because it's supposed to last for so long this is not my and between these two shades so we'll see

01:35how this goes this is the shade sand I'm just gonna squeeze a bit onto my hand I think I

01:44got a little bit too

01:46much but I'm just going to take a little bit this texture is nice very liquidy and slap that on

01:55the

01:55face and when I wear full coverage foundation I actually like to not use concealer just because

02:03I want things to look a little fresher hi Holly thanks for watching my video I got a little confused

02:15for a

02:15second because I have also have a camera woman named Holly so this foundation I really like already you

02:24know how full full coverage foundations can kind of have this cakey and drying effect this one doesn't

02:33actually I wouldn't say I wouldn't say it has absolutely full coverage like it's but it is

02:40covering really well I think it's minimizing my redness this is definitely a foundation that

02:45you can build up if you guys are wondering what I'm going to be using today just check out the

02:51description bar I'm going to list everything that I'm using today in the down bar and then I'm also

02:56going to list a bunch of like my other favorite products that are also available through the prime

03:00discount that I wasn't able to use in this video because there would just be way too many and some

03:05of them are like body gels and you guys just I'm just gonna say you don't want to see me

03:09taking a

03:10shower another question biggest makeup pet peeve when people put foundation on with their fingers on

03:19the subway I saw this literally two days ago and I'm just like I put makeup on the subway sometimes

03:25too

03:27but doing it with your fingers and then it's really just like it's all over the fingers it gets all

03:33over like the products you're using and then they like touch the subway pole and I'm just like so I'm

03:41just

03:41gonna put a little bit more under my eyes and I'm gonna stop there because I actually think that I

03:47got enough

03:48with enough coverage out of this I don't think I need anymore this actually was a really good color for

03:53me if you guys are wondering the color is

03:5820 sand and I like this because I think it covers really well but it also doesn't have a super

04:04matte finish I

04:04would say it's like kind of a satin finish and it doesn't make my skin look dry at all so

04:10like and

04:11another one best drugstore skincare I love CeraVe their CeraVe PM lotion is very lightweight it has ceramides

04:22niacinamide like a bunch of really good hydrating ingredients hyaluronic acid all those things are

04:27going to make your skin super hydrate and plump it's really good I think it's like $15 it's great

04:32so I'm going to set my makeup now using another wonder 2 product this is the wonder 2 perfect selfie

04:38and I actually have used this product before again link down below and it is a very nice you know

04:45classic setting powder I'm going to use this brush just to set the areas that I need it so I

04:53do this

04:54foundation is supposed to last for 24 hours so I'm not going to over set it

05:02we'll see how this makeup lasts sadly you're not going to be able to see how it lasts in this

05:12looks another question what color will you dye your hair next oh that's a good question I think I want

05:19to go blue like more of like a pastel II like light blue undecided I want to stay like purple

05:27the next few months and then I want to work with my colorist Madison that spoken wheel in terms of

05:32figuring out the next stage of my hair care journey so moving right along powder is done I really liked

05:40this one it's nice it doesn't make your skin look um crusty it doesn't like cling to dry patches so

05:47I'm going to move on to blush so this is the nyx sweet cheeks blush palette and I love nyx

05:56blushes

05:57I've used I've had so many of their like single blushes over the years and they're so good and this

06:02is a palette that comes with like eight of the different shades I've actually never used the palette

06:06version but I love their blush formula so I'm sure I will like this as well a ton of different

06:11ones

06:11I don't really know what I'm going to do on the eyes today because I'm just kind of winging it

06:15so I'm going to go with something neutral maybe this kind of peachy shade

06:20another one Fave Beauty Guru that also changes a lot I love Estée Lalonde she is amazing I love

06:30her I love her style her apartment's really cute too and I also really like um the Anna edit I

06:37don't

06:37know what her last name is Anna something I really like her like recipe videos but she also does like

06:41lifestyle and beauty too but there's a ton that I love there's just so many I love Claire Marshall

06:46it goes there on forever favorite primer I don't use primer that often I wouldn't say that I'm a

06:51daily primer wearer but in the summer when it's really hot I will wear primer and I really like the

06:58Jouer matte primer so it's silicone free I prefer to use silicone free primers look at that I love

07:04this blush this is the color for me it doesn't say it's this one

07:15this is a really pretty blush

07:20someone in the comments of my video recently in a video like a few weeks ago recently told me

07:25that I should wear more blush and I've been doing that and I actually really like it

07:31all right so that is the blush on again this is really pretty I love that there are a bunch

07:36of

07:36shades and I think that a lot of these shades would look pretty on the eyes too

07:42so going on I'm going to skip bronzer today just because I don't feel like wearing it

07:48although I did list bronzers that I like from covergirl in the con in the down bar

08:00I feel like I talk about celebrity crushes all the time to everyone that I sit around

08:04but now that I'm being asked I don't know I really like Matthew Gay Goobler you know that guy in

08:09criminal

08:09minds I saw him I saw him when I was like walking eating dinner with my friends we were walking

08:17in

08:17the west village and I saw him eating outside with his friend a lady friend at waverly inn

08:23I think he saw me looking at him okay so this is the physician's formula butter highlighter in the shade

08:32champagne I've used this in a couple of videos before

08:36I really like it the texture well it smells really good all the butter products if there's

08:42some formulas smell really sunscreeny might not be a cup of tea but I think it smells really good

08:48what's cool about this highlighter though is that it has a really nice like

08:52it's a powder but it has this like spongy cream consistency I don't know if you can tell that at

08:56all but it's a very similar texture to if you guys have tried the color pop highlighters

09:02it's like a soft powder so I'm just going to get that on my finger and I find that products

09:06like

09:06this that are very tactile are best applied with fingers so I'm going to tap that on to my cheeks

09:14blending out as needed favorite foundation also changes a lot I really like this foundation guys

09:24this foundation really impressed me this wonder too foundation but I also really like

09:30tinted moisturizers the NARS tinted radiant tinted moisturizer is amazing also has SPF in it this

09:36one doesn't have SPF in it I don't think so you're gonna have to wear something underneath this and I

09:41also really like Kat Von D Lockett that's a great foundation if you're looking for something a little

09:47more folk oh this is like very intense um brushes or beauty blenders can I say both or is that

09:55not

09:56allowed I like them both I think that they have um if I wanted something really fast I'm gonna use

10:02a

10:03brush just because a beauty blender you need to wet it you need to like really like tap it in

10:06but if I

10:07want my foundation to look like really natural and air like beautiful like soft I'd use the beauty

10:12blender but I think blush brushes are great too um I'm gonna go with a I'm gonna choose both on

10:20that

10:20question favorite smell whenever people ask that question I'm reminded of you know that part in

10:27in Harry Potter where Hermione says that she loves that she loves like peppermint toothpaste and grass

10:33I actually really like the smell of grass too like freshly mown grass it's a great great scent joe malone

10:38has a whole collection of um perfumes that are like garden inspired and that's like a very great range

10:46dewy or matte okay I'm like answering so many questions I'm like what's next okay

10:53eyes I'm gonna do eyes I've already primed so I have two palettes here also by NYX also included in

11:01the

11:01prime deal and what's great is these palettes aren't

11:05that cheap in terms of drugstore makeup these I think these are like 20 bucks so you're definitely

11:11going to want to check out the link and see what the discount is going to be I think it's

11:14going to

11:15it's 40 off so this is the sugar high palette so it's more neutral and then this is the bright

11:22palette

11:22that has all these fun shades I'm not sure what I want to do today but to answer your question

11:27on do your

11:28matte I would default to matte just because I'm very oily I have combination kind of oily skin

11:34so after a few hours I end up looking dewy anyway but if I do like matte foundation sometimes I'll

11:40use

11:41a cream highlighter to give my cheekbones a little bit of dewiness but I wouldn't do dewy all over

11:45that's just my personal preference okay what am I going to do I don't want to do like a completely

11:52neutral look today I think I'm going to try I want to play with these brights we'll see how they

11:56go

11:56I'll do let's do a little swatching and see see what we think look at this pink whoa do you

12:04see

12:04that let's look at this purple wow these are really pigmented I'm not surprised next good shadows let's

12:13swatch a few of these neutral shades so that palette the brights palette this one all matte all matte colors

12:24these this one has four shimmers let's take a look at that ooh that's really pretty ooh that peach is

12:31really pretty

12:32it's kind of like the blush I wore oh I don't know what I want to do I want to

12:35do a fun like pink

12:38electric pink eye just why not why not Fenty beauty yes or no yes I like Fenty she has a

12:46Rihanna makes a highlighter the unicorn highlighter it's kind of like purpley really pretty gorgeous shade

12:52eyelash extensions I've actually never gotten eyelash extensions so I don't think I'm the best

12:57person to answer this but I have friends who have and they look gorgeous just make sure you're going

13:03to a good artist so this is the the electric pink shade and I'm going to put that all over

13:10my lid

13:14whoa

13:19there's going to be a lot going on with this look it's going to be like a pink eye and

13:22like purple hair and like orange dress

13:34favorite foods

13:40pasta

13:42cacio e pepe the most simple pasta there is

13:47how do you like keep my skin clear so I

13:50used to have pretty congested skin especially in high school I went to a dermatologist and I got on

13:56retin-a which is a prescription um retinoids a form of vitamin a it like basically speeds up cellular

14:01turnover and that really helped my skin it really like got all that stuff out and since then my skin

14:08has been much better but what I do to maintain that is I have a very strict skincare rich routine

14:14so I

14:15wash my face morning and night I use a cleansing oil to take off my makeup and then I think

14:19that

14:19I really like using exfoliating serums so something like drunk elephants tlc night serum it's expensive

14:27but it's very good Renee Rouleau I'm an esthetician that I love she has a poor and wrinkle serum that's

14:32also an exfoliating serum and I think that really helps with acne things like alpha hydroxy acids and

14:37glycolic acid can be really great for acne

14:40yeah so if you guys are just tuning in I might look a little weird because I have

14:44one eye on but I am doing a full face of products that are available in the amazon prime day

14:51sale

14:51that's going on right now for the next 36 hours all these products are like super super discounted

14:57and the amazon website not gonna lie it's a little bit hard to navigate so I went through the whole

15:01all

15:02of it picked these products and I also listed a bunch of other products that I wasn't able to try

15:07in

15:07this video down below in case you're looking for things like body lotions or something like that

15:14so I'm gonna pack more of this pink shade onto my lid and I think what I want to do

15:24here

15:25is make a little wing with this it's something that I do a lot um when it when I just

15:33like want

15:33to play with like fun graphic shapes

15:45tia it's your birthday happy birthday it was my birthday yesterday

15:51do you match your eyes to your hair sometimes I definitely do that sometimes I don't do it all

15:57do it a ton but I've definitely put like a lilac shadow on my lids with to match my lilac

16:04hair and

16:05then proceed to wear like a purple lipstick so I definitely have done that I'm really into monochrome

16:12makeup in general so I'm all about it but again guy I know you guys are are utilizing that comment

16:22section

17:05and I wear it like all over my face like all over just like sometimes as a foundation there I

17:10have a

17:10bunch of tutorials on my instagram of me using that if you guys want to look

17:16favorite bronzer that's hard um for like in terms of like contouring serrat beauty

17:26which is a company that's created by troy serrat who's like an amazing makeup artist he has a I think

17:32it's actually a blush but it's in the color grisaille and it's an amazing bronze contour color

17:36um in terms of bronzers themselves I like the makeup forever profusion bronzer

17:43I love like the classic rimmel bronzer that like everyone has it's a good bronzer

17:48favorite lipstick shade like if I could only wear one shade of lipstick for the rest of my life

17:56probably a berry because you can cheer it out and you can go kind of like more intense with it

18:06so I'm using an angle this is a very very very pigmented palette I'm using an angled brush

18:11and I'm just like creating a graphic kind of wing on my eyes I this look is not for everyone

18:17but I

18:18like it I like I like like one color graphic shapes on the eyes sometimes

18:33but for those of you who are just tuning in I am doing a full face using all these products

19:01favorite highlight color champagne it's a nice like classic shade you really can't go wrong

19:35eyeshadow tips for beginners

19:39i think that it's i mean this is i i hate when people tell me this but really it's about

19:44practice

19:45i think that in the beginning you might not love how it turns out but there are a lot of

19:49tips that you

19:49can get that you can glean through practicing something so for example a palette like this if it

19:55wasn't as pigmented as i would have liked i could have wet my brush you can you can dip into

20:01the product

20:01and it'll make the pigment so much stronger i think that making sure you have a couple of basic

20:06eye brushes so an angled brush like this really good to have in your arsenal a kind of flat shader

20:15brush something like this that you can use to pack on eyeshadow and then last but not least a fluffy

20:24blending brush that you can use to blend things out i think those are like the three main brushes you

20:29should use and then once you get more familiar with like what you like and what your eye shape is

20:33you can get other brushes like a smudger brush something like this to um do like more intense

20:42looks all right so i'm going to continue with the eyes again everything down below description box

20:58ascent i mean this is pretty simple look guys i mean it looks kind of intense because i'm wearing

21:02like hot pink eyeshadow but if i wasn't talking so much i'd be done already

21:20this is a really nice palette guys i mean you guys saw how it swatched it was so it's so

21:26pigmented

21:27and what i'm gonna do here because i think i want a little more definition on my lid on my

21:33eyes you know

21:34i already have this like elongated cat eye like shape but i want a little bit more

21:40what do i say to bullies that criticize my makeup don't listen to them who care they they they need

21:48to

21:48shut up at the end of the day i think you guys have to realize that you're not gonna

21:57be able to please everyone you know like i was just talking to a really sweet kid named max today

22:03and

22:03he was saying that a lot of people have been bullying him about um tweezing his unibrow and

22:08he was like i'm not going to do it though because i like it and i was like you should

22:12like it and at

22:12the end of the day even if you do even if you were to tweeze your unibrow people are still

22:17going to say

22:17oh i liked it more when you had your unibrow you're never going to please people and i think that

22:24overwhelming yourself and worrying yourself we're going into this negative space thinking about what

22:28other people are thinking about you is just not healthy i know that's a lot easier that's so much

22:33easier said than done but if you like it go for it and there are people out there that probably

22:37like it too

22:45how would i describe my style

22:50someone asked me this question someone described myself to me in high school in terms of like fashion

22:58and they said comfy vintage and i was like yeah so that's what i say now i think i like

23:07comfortable

23:07things in terms of makeup i think my style is very i like to keep things minimal on the face

23:13and then i

23:14like to splice things up in terms of the eyes and the lips so i'll use i'll wear like a

23:18black lipstick

23:19one day or i'll wear like a pink eye i like to just kind of play around with it i

23:24don't really practice

23:24my looks very often i just kind of go for it and see what comes out like today

23:29i'm going to use a little bit of this other palette so this is the nyx ultimate palette in the

23:35shade sugar high and i'm going to take this really dark espresso shade and i'm just going to push

23:42that into my lash line for a little bit more definition again these are both linked below and these are

23:48particularly good deals with in terms of the discounts today because these are kind of pricey

23:55without a discount what harry potter house are you in well when i did the pottermore test you know

24:02back when it was in beta and in order to get an account you had to go through a bunch

24:06of different

24:06questions and trials i did that with my friend and i got placed in ravenclaw but i think i'm somewhere

24:12between gryffindor and ravenclaw in terms of how i identify which we all know you can choose favorite

24:21color blue i like blue okay so i'm just pushing that into my lash line just because i want a

24:31little

24:31bit more definition focusing more on the outer third of my eye because i want the overall shape of my

24:40eye to

24:40be an kind of like this kind of motion like a cat eye wing up and out

24:50okay pushing that in you could also if you want use a black eyeliner and tight line under your eye

24:57here and get a similar effect amazing

25:05all right so i'm just going to put a little more pink cover that up and then i'm going to

25:09move on

25:09mascara i really like this eyeshadow i was a little nervous when i saw this palette because i'd never

25:21used it before even though i've used like a bunch of different nyx palettes before um i did i didn't

25:29know i haven't used a lot of brights from the brand so pleasantly surprised that is my graphic eye

25:36on i'm going to curl my eyelashes and use this covergirl lash flash volume mascara this is a very popular

25:44mascara also linked down below and is on sale i think 40 off as well and this is the waterproof

25:50version

25:51because i have very very straight short eyelashes and if i don't use a waterproof formula my eyelashes do not

26:00hold a curl i kind of like to think of it as hairspray for my eyelashes

26:08favorite eyeshadow color that's again a really hard question because i do so many different things

26:14i think that i gravitate a lot right now toward colors like this which i know seem really out there

26:21and weird but i love like bright yellow like bright yellow all over the lid with a cat eye pink

26:27all over

26:27the lid with a cat eye purple i mean i like these like graphic fun colors but i also really

26:34like like

26:35shimmery soft tones like soft lilacs or like pinks favorite book that's a hard question

26:45i'm reading crazy rich asians right now which is a book is a book by kevin kwan that a movie

26:52is coming

26:53out in august and my family is from singapore so i've been very curious to see what this book is

26:58about

26:59and i'm excited to see the movie i don't think i have a favorite book to be honest i'm sorry

27:07so i'm curling my eyelashes

27:12and then i'm going to put on this covergirl lash blast and

27:18i really like the brush on this mascara because it has these like very

27:22small silicone bristles that really like hug your lashes i think that the big brush also helps

27:30just slap that mascara on fast you know

27:43how long does it take for me to do my makeup on it on like a normal day where i'm

27:49just like going

27:49to work or not really doing anything fancy i can get my makeup on in 15 15 minutes if i

27:57really need

27:58to get out the door i can do it in 10. there's a video if you want to look at

28:04with me video like from a year ago where i did that boyd hi

28:15a little bit of fallout that i'm noticing on the pink shadow underneath your eye but i just wiped it

28:19away and it doesn't seem to have been have caused any trouble but that's something to note if you

28:24guys are interested in this palette all right i'm going to leave it there i'm probably going to go in

28:35for another coat after i do the other side of my eyes favorite summer jam

29:22i love a makeup artist who's based in new york her name is katie jane hughes i actually did a

29:33with her i did a video um on how to get like that glossier look because she's done a ton

29:40of makeup for

29:40a couple of the campaigns for glossier she's amazing she's great at dewy skin so if you're interested in

29:45getting that kind of look definitely check her out um because she has she's really really good i just

29:52got mascara on my eye lid where's my outfit from this is from zara like two years ago and then

30:04i think it's from brandy melville that my sister got me because she's so nice

30:15okay i'm gonna fix this little mishap

30:20summer vacation plan i'm not really going on any any fun ones i just came back from portugal

30:29with my boyfriend and his family because his cousin was getting married in portugal and that was

30:35very fun i'm probably gonna go with one of my best friends carly to her house in martha's

30:43veneer this summer but that's pretty much it my grandpa and my uncle or my two uncles and my

30:47grandpa are coming to visit me from singapore at the end of july so that'll be fun

30:53olivia you look thank you for saying that i'm gonna put a little more mascara on and then i'm gonna

30:59move on to lips and then that's it guys i hope you guys like this look i know it's kind

31:04of crazy

31:06crazy but it's fun you know i started to realize like a year ago that i just had

31:17so many neutral makeup items in my collection and i had like an ikea alex like a nine drawer unit

31:24full of makeup and it was all like neutral makeup that i frankly didn't need and i was like you

31:32what i don't use enough of the color and fun stuff that i really should be and so i started

31:36bunch more stuff and now i do it all the time my producer maigle does like really fun looks like

31:42this too so i feel like we both kind of egg each other on in that way how old were

31:47you when you first

31:47started wearing makeup i think i first started wearing makeup in eighth grade so i think i must have

31:53been like 14 but how old are you you are when you're in eighth grade i think i was i

31:57well for i was

31:58wearing like bottom eyeliner because i was going through my like shop at hot topic every week at

32:03the mall phase so i wore a lot of bottom eyeliner and then i like graduated to a cat eye

32:08and when i

32:09graduated middle school and went to high school so that is it i got a little bit of mascara under

32:17my eyes

32:18which quite frankly always happens

32:24all right so i'm going to move on to lips and brows so let's do brows first this is the

32:30wonder brow

32:33um eyebrow gel it's an interesting product because it kind of it's supposed to tint your eyebrows in

32:38a way but i like to use it as a brow gel that has a bit of color in it

32:44i'm going to grab

32:49huh do i even have something like that for that now uh-huh i'm gonna grab a little spoolie

32:55and put it on again all the products are down below and for you guys who might who may be

33:01in toward the tail end of this tutorial um i am doing a full face using a bunch of these

33:14discounted and i sorted through them all found ones that i like i'm trying them today and there are a

33:21few more down below that i didn't get to try today that i'm gonna that i'm gonna leave there just

33:33is there an editorial look you want to try but it isn't really wearable

33:38yes actually there's this really cool look that i've been seeing on instagram a lot where like

33:45the people will put a bunch of like rainbow dots on their face like almost like sort of like rainbow

33:53freckles but not necessarily um i just think it's really cool are people putting like different um 3d

34:013d jewels on their face like rhinestones or pearls i think those look really cool i don't know where

34:07i would ever wear something like that but they look really awesome after this live i'll go through and

34:17link some if you guys don't know what i'm talking about because i realized that my description probably

34:21was subpar sarah hi okay so i just put that through my brows i will say that the way that

34:35i use it is

34:36i'll dip a spoolie into it it's not the most mess free way to apply this um but you can

34:43use a little

34:44brush that comes with it and go straight into your eyebrows and then brush it out i do find that

34:47can get

34:47a little bit intense of a look but it's really how you prefer to use this product okay last but

34:53not

34:53least lipstick so i have these two lipsticks they're by revlon these super lustrous lipsticks i have

35:00the shade of rose velvet and love is on i'll swatch them both again they're both listed um the whole

35:07line is listed in the comment section sorry not the comment section they're listed in the description bar

35:11so this is the love is on lipstick i really love this lipstick i've worn it before when it

35:17first came out i want to say a year ago and it is so comfortable it is an amazing red

35:22i still have

35:23it this is a new bottle but i have my old really grubby bottle um at home it's a beautiful

35:29blue toned

35:30red fatten finish feels really comfortable on highly recommend probably not going to go for this one

35:36today just because i am going for such a crazy eye look this is rose velvet i've actually never worn

35:42this shade before but i thought it would be a nice little nude to wear a nice kind of brownie

35:48rosy

35:49shade so i'm just going to go straight and i'm going to take my lip balm off and go in

36:16i really like it i like the tone i like the texture i mean i knew i liked the texture

36:24because i love the

36:25love is on lipstick um what i like about them is they're just so comfortable and it's not a liquid

36:32lipstick it's not going to stay on for 12 hours it's not going to stay on through a burger but

36:36you know

36:36sometimes you want a lipstick that you can do you can reapply after you have a coffee

36:39um and that feel comfortable and almost feel like lip balm so that is the look

36:48i probably if i wasn't talking i think i could do this in 15 minutes

36:52well 15 give or take 15 minutes um and that's it i liked it a lot so again if you
