00:10Now, police have arrested a newlywed woman and her alleged lover.
00:14The accused, identified as Hasina Nadaf, had married Sharif from Hoscote village just two months ago.
00:22But according to police, she was already in a relationship with Hanumanth Marapur before the marriage
00:27and the affair allegedly continued afterward.
00:30Police say Hasina allegedly planned to elope with her lover and stole around 154 grams of gold ornaments
00:36worth nearly 21 lakh, along with silver jewellery when no family members were at home.
00:41After a complaint was filed at Katakol Police Station, police launched an investigation
00:46and tracked down both accused within 48 hours.
00:50The stolen ornaments have been recovered and both accused have now been sent to judicial custody.
