A fresh controversy has erupted in Noida after a viral video allegedly showed a pizza shop worker spitting while preparing food at a shop in Sector-22’s Chaura village.

The incident took place in the Sector-24 police station area and involved a pizza outlet named “Pizza Hunt.” The accused has been identified as Muzammil, who reportedly worked at the shop.

According to reports, a video circulating on social media allegedly shows the worker spitting while preparing pizza dough. The clip quickly went viral, triggering outrage among local residents and members of Hindu Raksha Dal.

The organisation’s local representatives claimed they received information about pizzas allegedly being prepared unhygienically and later examined CCTV footage from the shop.

On Sunday, activists reportedly confronted the accused, assaulted him, and later handed him over to police.

During questioning, Muzammil allegedly told police that he was blowing air to remove excess flour while preparing the pizza base and denied intentionally spitting on the food.

Police took preventive action and arrested the accused. Officials said further investigation into the viral video is underway.

The viral clip, reportedly around one minute and 22 seconds long, continues to circulate widely on social media, with claims that the accused repeated the act multiple times.

The incident has once again triggered debate online regarding food hygiene, public behaviour, and vigilantism.
