00:04thompson and this is the place where making mornings matter the most hope everyone's having
00:09a great morning out there uh today everyone's morning is good um once again like i said this
00:16is the morning roaster podcast man today we're gonna have a good episode for you i'm gonna give
00:20you three talk points as i usually do but this episode is called choosing your energy before
00:25the world chooses for you so if you are just now tuning into this podcast or this is your first
00:31time listening to this particular podcast we have three other podcasts that we're uh that we're on
00:37uh but this one in particular this one is about uh just like uh discipline uh manifestation uh you
00:47know dealing with emotional intelligence so this is the morning roasted podcast and this is where
00:51we uh roast uh good good talks and good ideas uh about starting your morning building a routine
00:58uh becoming disciplined and just getting your morning started uh with structure so uh man we're
01:04glad you guys can tune in man welcome uh everyone that's tuned in want you to like share and to
01:09subscribe to this channel this channel is on uh daily motion so this is the daily motion platform
01:16it's rarely used but we will start uploading to youtube and other platforms shortly so uh just
01:23you know uh listen to this man when you're driving to work uh when you're working out man and hopefully
01:27we can give you some information or we can give you something that can empower your day okay so like
01:33i
01:33said before man this particular message uh episode is about choosing your energy before the world chooses
01:40for you um no we're not going to get too i want to go kind of uh deep into this
01:46but we're never going
01:46to leave it surface level and maybe another another episode then we'll we'll be able to dig a little bit
01:53deeper into this topic but i want to highlight the importance of you having um a uh outlook or having
02:03some
02:03type of willpower to uh control your own thoughts and to control your own trajectory of life to a
02:12certain degree now there's a time in life where you have to uh roll with the the punches things have
02:17to just go but you have to go with the flow but there's also another time that you need to
02:21resist
02:22going with the flow because the flow is going to lead you somewhere that you it takes away from your
02:27goals and from things that you would like to do in your own your own life and what you want
02:32to
02:32accomplish so there needs to be a balance but you all you need to be able to discern when and
02:38when
02:38not to do certain things but this is the start of it uh choosing your energy before the world chooses
02:46for you so uh our first thought point is i set my energy before external influences take over uh this
02:54now i can't stress this enough but make a conscious decision each morning about how you want to feel
03:01before you check your phone or engage with the world see sometimes man i wake up and it seems like
03:07i slept all all night but i still wake up kind of groggy you know and uh before i even
03:13get out of bed
03:13before i touch my phone man sometimes i sit there to myself and i start to uh program my day
03:20while just
03:20sitting on the bed sometimes you don't have to wait till you get up you don't have to wait till
03:25you know you turn on the tv and allow these external influences sometimes you don't have to
03:29wake up and say oh man it's friday man what know what are we going to do today you know
03:33always have
03:34a uh trajectory of what's going on whether there's a routine or something set in place of what i'm going
03:39to accomplish for that day so that's not the problem the problem is making sure that your mindset
03:44matches up with what you're trying to accomplish yeah you can need to go to the grocery store but
03:49if your mindset you're that's something you need to do but if your mindset is telling you man your
03:55emotions are taking over your mindset or is your own willpower or your discipline taking over your
04:02mindset and saying man i don't care how i feel this is going to get accomplished one way or another
04:06and
04:06that's just this is how you have to think you have to think that no matter how i feel no
04:12matter what's
04:12going on no matter the resistance no matter who's who's talking about me who's hating on me who's trying
04:18even if people are trying to help you no matter who's helping me if someone helps me or not i'm
04:23still going to accomplish what i'm trying to accomplish today regardless of the external
04:28influences so that is something that you need to remind yourself of but you need to make that your
04:34primary mindset when you wake up in the morning don't before you get out of bed before you your feet
04:40hit the floor you need to already make up in your mind while you're sitting there uh half sleep you
04:48need to start uh to set your mind uh towards the victory for the day so some people say man
04:54that
04:54sounds just so uh cliche man you know when people wake up man they have real problems man when people
04:59wake up man they have other things that they're thinking about and i'm telling you i'm gonna tell
05:03you something the other things that you have to think about are probably 99 problems so i'm saying
05:09before you those problems are not going anywhere but what you need to do is you need to program your
05:15mind
05:15and tune your mind and your frequency to being able to be the person that can take care of those
05:21problems and still have the right mindset you know sometimes man you know uh i've you know been a part
05:27of groups and i've been a part of a lot of uh corporate settings where you know some people that
05:32are even
05:33empowered they will now let me put it like this they do not know how to handle pressure when pressure
05:40comes they blame it on someone else you know these are people in leadership when pressure comes or
05:44sudden situations hit the fan they blame it on the team or they blame it on someone else and that's
05:49something that you cannot do so you as being the leader of your household people think of leadership
05:53is just in a fortune 500 company leadership is just uh on the captain of the football team people
05:59think leadership is just leadership starts right there where you are in your home if you uh have a lease
06:05or you are the owner of a property or you own a business or whatever or you are a mother
06:11or a father
06:12you that's where leadership starts leadership starts right there uh in your home and it also
06:18starts within yourself don't you know that you have two voices in your head one voice is saying you need
06:23to go into beast mode another voice is saying man i'm tired man i want to lay in for today
06:27and so
06:28you you have to lead your own other voice there is there's always uh like they have the two angels
06:35so there's always two voices wrestling to have control of your body to at first they want to have
06:41control of your mind and then the body follows but you there is you your yourself who is your spiritual
06:48nature of who you truly are and there's another voice that tries to creep in and control your mindset
06:55and who you truly are and wants your real self to bow down and uh act and operate off of
07:01your emotions
07:02you have to silence those emotions and you have to choose your own trajectory and set your own energy
07:10before those external influences take over or before you allow your emotions to take over
07:15so you need to remind yourself to um uh don't choose uh your mindset uh well remind i remind myself
07:23let me
07:24put it like this i remind myself let me talk about myself i want to keep it personal a lot
07:28of times i like
07:28to keep it personal because people feel like man you just you can't identify with what i'm i'm talking
07:33about so everything that i'm telling you i'm going to tell you i either experienced it or uh i would
07:39say
07:40i experienced it i experienced so much so i really don't talk about anything that i really haven't
07:44experienced myself or went through i haven't run around it under it i haven't ran from it i've went
07:50through and it came out on the other side so that's why i feel like you know i can talk
07:54to and i can
07:54identify with a lot of people in a lot of different areas but i remind myself so i'm talking about
07:59myself i remind myself you know personally that if i don't choose my mindset outside of influences
08:06other people and other things will choose for me and there's been plenty of times man i know i had
08:11to
08:11do some marketing i know i had to make some calls i may have to go to wall street and
08:15meet meet a guy
08:15but you know you know what happens what gets in the way and what rives me of that opportunity
08:19sometimes there's another voice saying man i just man you yeah oh your leg is hurting or you
08:25you know you have an earache and none of that matters you're once you i'm going to tell you
08:31something i'm i want you to really listen to me and um i want you to listen to me clear
08:35everyone on
08:37this earth has the ability see we we can we can heal ourselves we can uh we can override the
08:46programming
08:47don't don't you know that uh i could get hurt right now i can hurt my arm i could burn
08:51my arm on the
08:52stove but if my mind is set towards something else it's that pain will go away your brain only your
08:59brain only highlights what's what uh it's focused on so yeah i can yeah i can break there's been there's
09:06been plenty of times i've hurt myself and i've kept working i worked at it as a chef for over
09:1113 or 13
09:12years working nationally cut i'll cut probably one of the tip of my fingers off i wrapped it up and
09:18i
09:18finished my shift and by me just continually to work you know uh work and do what what i was
09:25supposed to do i wrote the menus for the next day i went ahead and got on u.s foods
09:28and i ordered the
09:29inventory uh for the following week and just by me not paying attention to uh not really saying
09:35paying i'm not telling you not to uh be aware you know of certain injuries and things of that sort
09:39so
09:39you don't want things to get infected but what i'm saying is don't give it so much attention to
09:44the point where your feelings and your emotions override your primary setting or what you are
09:50trying to accomplish so i'm man i almost cut the tip of my finger to cut the tip of my
09:56finger off i had
09:57to get stitches and and everything probably the uh next day but that night i went ahead and took care
10:02of what i needed to take care of and i didn't even feel it the only reason i got stitches
10:05is just
10:06because it my i couldn't i couldn't heal fast at that current time now i heal heal a lot quicker
10:12you know what i mean because you know how to control your energy and you know how to direct
10:15your energy to certain pain points in your life and uh on your body and helps you to heal quicker
10:21but
10:21we'll talk about that another time but you need to choose your your own mindset outside the influences
10:28or they will choose for you so when you wake up in the morning you need to create a space
10:32in the
10:33morning to ground yourself in peace clarity and intention i don't i don't care man there's a lot
10:38of people say man i don't really have time to meditate man by the time i wake up in the
10:42morning
10:42i'm trying to catch the subway i'm trying to uh get in the car and go to work man sometimes
10:47i wake up a
10:47little bit late the thing is this the time that you're on the subway i don't care if you put
10:52headphones in use that time you can still make it to work but choose a time where that you can
10:57ground
10:57yourself before the world tries to take over there's many a times i've been on the subway and i'm
11:01zoned out as long as it's not some crazy person trying to you know what i mean trying to spit
11:07on
11:07me uh making ruckus but i i try to be aware of at the same time i use whatever time
11:12i have available
11:13to kind of zone out and focus on what i need to do despite who's around or despite the other
11:19conflicted energies uh that's around me at that time so if and sometimes man uh people's quiet time
11:25is when they get in the shower once you when you are in the in the uh just say in
11:30the whatever
11:31in the motion of doing what you regularly do so sometimes you may mop the floor or sweep the floor
11:37use that with you know to integrate that time that you can ground yourself you know that's therapeutic
11:44as well clean this therapeutic you know what i mean i like a clean house but i like to clean
11:47as
11:48well because it's therapeutic it it helps you to uh ground yourself as well some people's grounding
11:53times when they're in the shower these are things that you you know you have to do and you can
11:57also
11:58use those necessary and those uh times that you know that this is something that you have to do
12:04anyways and use it to integrate those times where you can ground yourself in the shower uh cleaning up
12:09washing dishes uh you know what i mean walking down the stairs when you in the car uh taking that
12:15time when you're driving to work instead of you know listening to music you're using it to ground
12:19yourself and get your uh get clarity of what you want to accomplish for the day and uh just go
12:24over
12:24those goals so talk point number two is uh become aware of what shifts your energy now i've talked about
12:31this a lot especially in our um our grief therapy sessions we had some grief uh therapy sessions when
12:37it came to a c-suite executives losing a loved one and uh we had therapy sessions and we also
12:42had
12:43their therapy sessions grief therapy sessions when it comes to uh running a high-end business uh with
12:50all of those pressures and having employees and having you know uh you know lots of staff uh bad
12:56customer reports uh you're dealing with uh mergers and acquisitions dealing with but you still go
13:02through grief you know losing a loved one and losing a child while trying to run a company at the
13:07same
13:07time that doesn't mean you cannot break away but there's another side to that
13:12if you are running a just say i went into franchise and i'm running the kennedy's fried chicken i'm
13:16running the kennedy's fried chicken i have stabbed but i i haven't uh uh generated the revenue where i
13:22can't be present i have to be present at least you know what i mean a couple hours a day
13:26i want you to
13:27know something that people don't care if you just lost your dog people don't care if you just lost your
13:32fish people don't care if you just lost your wife just lost your husband just lost your child people do
13:38not care they when they come into the store they want to know if i spend this 5.99 is
13:43the chicken
13:43going to be fresh and there's the macaroni and cheese going to be cheesy that's all they care
13:48about so i want you to understand something when you are in business there's a there's another level
13:53of emotional intelligence and another level mindset that you have to operate from and understand that
13:58i'm here for the customers and despite you have to put your own personal uh dealings on the back
14:04burner when it comes to your employees yeah you can just go through a savage divorce but you have
14:09an employee that needs to take off because he's about to have a baby you have an employee that needs
14:13to take off because you know something has something happening they need to pick their child up from
14:17daycare you know so and you have to step into those positions you're like man i'm going through a
14:22savage divorce i lost you know what i mean i lost 625 uh thousand you know what i mean going
14:28through uh
14:29uh uh property split none of that matters none of that matters when you have people who are
14:36uh working for you they are your priority when you have a team working for you we have people that
14:42uh show up for you to make sure that you can build your business you have to be good to
14:46those people
14:46you have to put your personal problems on the back burner so this is why we're talking about what
14:50we're talking about for the simple fact that you have to choose your energy before someone chooses for
14:55you and if you are a place of leadership and like we just talked about leadership leadership
14:59to be you being the head of the household where you live if you live by yourself you are still
15:04the
15:04head of the household you need to learn how to parent yourself and you set that alarm off to six
15:09o'clock you need to get up at six o'clock parent yourself when you just need to be at
15:13work on time
15:14you need to parent yourself so you know what i mean and then that starts with you setting that
15:18routine then you will be maybe responsible for others maybe your child maybe other people start to
15:24look up to you and stuff and you can be in a position where you can help people but also
15:28live a life by example so be uh be become aware of what shifts your energy and like we said
15:36we just
15:36uh talked about this and this is basically talking about your triggers now i told someone i told someone
15:42this the other day man i was just making analogy man and they were asking me they were asking me
15:47like
15:47you know uh i really love like my my brother or i love my uh my brother man even though
15:53man this
15:54happened and that happens and you know it was throwing me all this uh literature and all these
15:58bible verses about forgiving people and things like that so i was telling him yeah that's that's okay
16:02you can forgive individuals but don't be stupid and i told him man i said man if every time my
16:09brother
16:09comes over my house he steals peanut butter and i love him that means that okay he can still come
16:14over
16:15but if i know he's about to come over i need to hide the peanut butter before he gets here
16:19so you know what i mean so i'm just using that as an analogy for diamonds or anything else so
16:23you
16:24can you can insert what you want to insert but that was just something funny that came up so i
16:29didn't want to make it too serious one but i wanted them to understand that it's okay to still deal
16:34with
16:34people if you if you have a mother or a father or someone that's close to you and what they're
16:39doing
16:39is there you did yeah it's okay to have a support system but when it gets to the point where
16:43they
16:44try to control your life in a covert way you need to be able to discern those things and not
16:49let
16:49you know the information or not let that uh this is the most famous line that you know i'm i'm
16:55i just
16:56i i'm saying it because i care i just care about and you know you say man i know you're
17:00carrying this
17:00and that but you need to you need to be able to accept that type of information from your loved
17:04ones
17:05whether it's a grandmother whether it's a grandfather people that's been there for you all of your life
17:09but you still need to be able to have your own authenticity and and live as an individual you can
17:16take what what's your job is to take that information of your loved ones and filter it
17:21through what you're trying to do in life and where you're trying to go never let anyone live their life
17:26out through you take that information say man i know i know they told me i wasn't supposed to be
17:31with this person because they care they can kind of see some red flags but the truth is this
17:36what do i feel like within myself that uh that i'm not my heart is telling me but my discernment
17:42is telling me something that's telling me that yeah this person may have a couple flaws but i'm
17:46flawed as well this person may you know may make some mistakes but i make mistakes as well and they're
17:50able to bear with me when i'm when i'm going through those moments so it's not all about someone being
17:56perfect sometimes it's about you being able to be compatible with a person that where sometimes you're
18:02only at 20 they're at 80 and sometimes when you're you're at at uh when they're at 20 you're
18:09you're able to pick up that uh slack and you're able to be at 80 and help them to push
18:13through that
18:14day so it's not all about a person being completely perfect no one is going to be perfect so what
18:19i'm
18:19saying is this become aware of what shifts your energy man maybe you're having a good day man and
18:24things are going good and then maybe a family member might come to come around maybe a friend may
18:28call you or maybe someone it just shifts your energy man you was you were doing good everything
18:32was good and then you get some bad news or get some gossip and then you're just like man now
18:37now you went from man i finally had one good day at work man i finally had one good day
18:41at work it
18:42wasn't any bull crap that went on and then someone texts you with some information about johnny from
18:4763rd street and then you're like oh man johnny ass still fucking up to this so then you then your
18:53whole
18:53day goes from man i had a good day at work and your energy shifts and now you're at it
18:58now you're
18:59at a point where you're worried about what someone else is doing you're worried about something else
19:03that really doesn't concern you and it just robbed you of that feeling of joy from you just being
19:08grateful of having a great day so become aware of what shifts your energy pay attention to the things
19:14that drain you uh is it news social media stress uh negative conversations no you just pay attention
19:20to those things man everyone has their own day i know some people man i have a sister i have
19:25a
19:25sister man she hear negative news it makes it excites her you know what i'm saying so she so and
19:30then i
19:31have some people when they hear negative news you know it uh it drains them so negative news excites her
19:37but what i'm saying is this uh be be careful of that i'm not telling you what to do but
19:42i'm saying you
19:43within your own personal life you make sure that you find out what drains you and you make sure that
19:48you
19:48find out uh what gives you peace uh now now you know someone being hurt shouldn't give you peace
19:54but at the same time uh you know that's that's not me to to to tell you what to do
19:59about your life all
20:00i'm saying is this choose to protect your energy you know what i mean by setting boundaries around you
20:05uh what you will allow into your space man choose to uh set boundaries man if something is taking your
20:12peace if something is destroying your outlook on life now i don't mean destroying your outlook on
20:18life man as in uh someone is pushing you to do better and then you're you're annoyed by it that's
20:24different that's different that means that someone sees potential in you and someone wants you to hit
20:28your full potential but i also know as a business owner as well that you know i can have i
20:33had uh when
20:34i was uh i had a uh well that that place is still open so we do have a catering
20:39uh shop in uh oklahoma
20:41which is thompson square gardens restaurant company but we also have that same company here
20:45in uh new york city uh thompson square gardens restaurant company so the the staff that's there
20:50i i've noticed this because having to be in a business owner that um some people now you know you
20:56cannot push everyone to their greatness now there's greatness in everyone but everyone does not want to
21:02discover that greatness you know why because there are some people that want to come home
21:05or they want to come to work do their job and go home they're not trying to become the manager
21:10they're not trying to flip any extra pancakes they're not trying to outdo anyone else they're
21:14not trying to they're not trying to fold up any extra silverware what they're trying to do is do
21:19exactly what you told them to do uh knock everything off their list and go home so i do understand
21:25that
21:25so you cannot push everyone to their fullest potential because some people just want to come
21:29uh do their job get their paycheck and go home they're not trying to be the manager they're not
21:34trying to do double shifts they're not trying to do all these extra things to have all these extra
21:38responsibilities they want their money and they want to go home and they want to they want to live
21:42their own life so i do understand that but but what i'm saying is that sometimes man when people push
21:47you
21:48to that next uh state it's not to have you annoyed you know what i mean but be careful man
21:53and still
21:54live your own life man still live your own life and do what you want to do and uh live
21:58your life to the
21:58best your ability also stay mindful of you know how your uh thoughts and environment impact your
22:03emotional state you know uh you do have to stay uh mindful about your thoughts and also your
22:08environment but but the truth is as long as the environment within you uh the environment outside
22:15of you doesn't affect the environment in you uh you you'll be okay so you have to you have to
22:20you
22:21know uh build up that type of resistance uh to outside influences but become aware of what shifts your
22:27energy man anything man if you're having a good day and then you just get a bad text message or
22:32you
22:32get you know those things are intentionally happening uh to make sure that they can bring
22:37your spirit down so man just be aware of what shifts your day number three i intentionally maintain
22:42my energy throughout the day so you have to check in with yourself throughout the day to realign
22:47your mindset when needed you know sometimes man i'll i'll start my day off good man everything's
22:52be uh be going good or sometimes the day doesn't start off good i know i need to do certain
22:56things
22:57and i just don't feel like doing them but sometimes i have to check in with myself to get back
23:02on the
23:02horse you know like they said get back on the horse to get back on on track sometimes i have
23:06to check in
23:07with myself and i myself you know but sometimes i have to check in with myself that the country came
23:13out
23:13but sometimes i have to check in with myself and i have to tell myself man there's sometimes i i
23:19would
23:19tell myself i say man caleb man if you don't do it who's gonna do it man if you don't
23:24make it
23:24happen who's gonna make it happen you know some things don't depend on god you know some things
23:29don't depend on man i don't care what god you serve or what you do i don't care if you're
23:33from
23:33you're from hindu you are buddhist or whatever you do i don't care what what whatever you do
23:39or whatever god or deity sir i want to tell you something everything don't does not depend on
23:45uh people some things depend on yourself you can you cannot be mad at somebody else about
23:51them doing this or them doing that some things do not have to do with the manipulation of energy or
23:56you trying to bring someone down or you speaking positive into someone or trying to bring someone
24:01up some things are solely your fault some things are not going to be done unless you do them yeah
24:08you could yeah you can talk about you i'm supposed to get a check in the mail but you can
24:12never go
24:12out and open the mailbox and see if it's there some things is just not uh magic is not going
24:18to
24:18fix prayer is not going to fix some things some things you know your mom is not going to fix
24:22something is your father your friend it's not going to fix some things you have to do yourself and it
24:27has nothing to do with nothing else has nothing to do it has to do with either you're going to
24:31take
24:31the time to do it or you're not and you gotta stop blaming people yeah you're supposed to get a
24:36check in the mail yeah you're supposed to get a card in the mail yeah you're supposed to
24:40you're waiting on a piece of information you know what i mean you're waiting on that loan to get
24:44for the for the vehicle you're waiting on you know you're waiting on figuring out you know
24:48about this and that and waiting on the job offering all these but some things are not just
24:53not going to be done man you may sometimes you have to check up with that job sometimes you have
24:57to you know it's just not there's nothing you can do there's nothing god can do there's nothing
25:02prayer can do some things are just left up to you to make sure that you know what i mean
25:06that you
25:06can execute what you're what you're running after so you know i mean intentionally maintain
25:11maintain your energy throughout the day check with yourself and make sure that man you're doing what
25:15you're supposed to do okay how many times you pray your house is not going to clean itself
25:20those dishes i have dishes in the sink guess what i could say you know god i pray that you
25:25send the angels the sweet baby jesus to come clean you can say you can pray all you want to
25:30but i
25:31believe them dishes are still going to be dirty in the sink you can need to cut your grass and
25:35you can
25:35you can pray you can do what you can do a spell you can do whatever you want to do
25:40you can call
25:40your cousin and talk about it you can man i sure need to cut this this grass needs to be
25:45you can say
25:45whatever you want to say some things are not going to change unless you get up off your behind and
25:49you change them for yourself so this is some things that you can do uh besides action you know
25:54you can use things like breathing uh reflection uh short pauses and just try to do things to reset
26:00your energy man sometimes man i'm gonna sit at home and i love to be at home i have no
26:05problem
26:05being isolated i love myself you know i mean i love my own energy man i can kick it like
26:10people
26:10would be at a club with with 500 people having a good time man i can dance and have a
26:15good time at
26:16home by myself man i can kick it like i'm at the club with everybody by myself and just have
26:20a good
26:20time man at least i won't have to get a over to you know i mean drive me home if
26:26i get too lit
26:26but i can be at home kicking it by myself man and really enjoy myself and in my own energy
26:31for the simple fact that man sometimes you have to reset your energy and uh just being at home
26:38sometimes man also you might have to reset your energy by going outside experiencing a different
26:43atmosphere and then coming back home so that happened to me today man just sitting in the same
26:48place for too long man uh that those that energy uh of that atmosphere becomes too familiar with you so
26:55you have to uh experience something else to reset yourself so you know what i mean if you're always
27:01if you're always laying laying in in the bed and you you know and then you get up and when
27:05you get up
27:06it resets your energy when you uh when you're always in the house and you say man you know what
27:10man i've just been in the house man for a couple days man let me just walk through the park
27:14i don't
27:14even have nowhere to go sometimes man i'll walk to the post office uh just you know just because i
27:19know
27:19there's two parts there and just while walking through the park man i would just be grateful and
27:23and just sightsee man and enjoy enjoy life you know so there are certain things you need to do
27:28to reset your energy and do it you know i don't care some people man go through a rough day
27:32and they
27:32want to reset their energy by smoking or whatever they're doing now i'm not saying i condone these
27:37things i don't smoke and i believe those things are harmful but like i said i can't tell you what
27:41to
27:41do with your life but whatever you choose to reset your day or reset your energy i'm not giving you
27:46any
27:46bad suggestions but i'm saying people already have vices and things that they do and a lot of these
27:51things are right i wish everyone will would uh become clean and that way you'll be able to
27:56uh think clearer and you'll be able to you know what i mean uh operate and on a higher level
28:01and
28:01a higher frequency it's hard to really uh manifest things when your energy has been like thwarted with
28:07or it's where it has some spaces where it has been contaminated so you know what i mean but if
28:13you

29:41while all this stuff is going on around him so so what i'm saying is this that doesn't mean don't
29:46be aware of your surroundings but it means that you get to choose your energy at any moment man right
29:51now i can choose i can choose my energy and i can be angry i can be angry and furious

29:57mean with things happening or without things happening there's always something that can have you
30:01upset but you can choose your energy at any moment so stay committed to showing up man
