00:00Hello there. Tomorrow, Wednesday, will be the warmest day of the week for some. We could see 20 degrees across
00:06western parts of Wales.
00:08We do have a weather front though through this evening, producing some rain. The winds have been gusty through the
00:14day.
00:15But this weather front will weaken all the while as high pressure exerts itself across the country.
00:21It will get stuck across Scotland and northern England though through the next few days, a lot of cloud.
00:25Winds will be light. We could see some chilly nights. Fine by day where you catch some sunshine.
00:31And Friday again is looking like a fine day with some sunshine coming through.
00:36Let's take a look at the detail. Well, here's that weather front.
00:39Outbreaks of mostly sporadic rain just pushing in across northern Ireland, central and northern areas of Scotland.
00:45Some showers which will be blustery across western Scotland filing in.
00:49Clearer skies across England and Wales and western parts of northern Ireland into the early hours of the morning.
00:55And where the winds are lighter, particularly for mid Wales, down towards the west country, you could see some mist
01:00and fog patches forming.
01:02The rain just comes and goes. A bit damp in places, borders down towards Belfast and Newry into Wednesday morning.
01:09Chilly to start the day across northern Scotland as well as the south there.
01:12In rural spots, temperatures dipping down to low single figures.
01:15And one or two showers just clipping the northwest of Scotland.
01:18So through tomorrow, you can see where this weather front is.
01:21It's going to whack some way in across this zone here in northern Ireland, southern Scotland.
01:27Perhaps northern England through the morning as it gradually nudges northwards.
01:31Taking the rain with it across northern Ireland.
01:33So some dry skies coming through through the day.
01:35But notice, particularly for Argyle and Buttes, you could see a little rain through the afternoon.
01:40Fine towards the south.
01:42England and Wales seeing temperatures rise very nicely after a chilly morning.
01:46We'll see values coming in, probably the high teens spot value of 20 degrees west Wales.
01:52And across eastern Scotland as well, where you catch some sunshine not too bad.
01:56The winds will have eased, which is good news.
01:58Temperatures rising into the teens.
02:00And 12, possibly for Northern Ireland.
02:03But this is that stubborn weather front.
02:05It's not very active.
02:06Even so, the cloud will come and go as we head through Wednesday.
02:10And in fact, into Thursday as well.
02:13So let's pick up on some detail through Wednesday evening.
02:16Here's the weather front.
02:17Here's the cloud.
02:18Particularly across Scotland and Northern Ireland.
02:20A little rain just coming and going.
02:22Clearer skies across England and Wales.
02:24A bit of a breeze down towards the southwest peninsula along this south coast as well.
02:30Inland though, we can't rule out some mist and fog.
02:33And even a touch of frost into Thursday morning under some clearer skies.
02:37So a chilly start to the day.
02:39But as the sun rises, it will really get to work.
02:41And we'll see some fine weather coming through.
02:44Let's pick up on that cloud though.
02:45This is Aberdeenshire's central belt borders.
02:48A little rain again associated with it.
02:51The cloud just spreads across through the day.
02:53But brighter skies towards northern parts of Scotland, northwest Scotland, Northern Ireland as well.
02:59And across England and Wales.
03:00Although places such as Tyne and Weir in Northumberland, you may get caught under the cloud through the afternoon.
03:06Temperatures under the cloud then 11 to 14 Celsius.
03:09And we'll see a 17 towards west Wales, sheltered from the breeze.
03:13High pressure remains in charge through Thursday into Friday.
03:16On Friday, we could see 16 across northeast Scotland help with some sunshine.
03:21Notice winds are light.
03:23And then this weather front attempts to push in through the weekend.
03:26A slow process but certainly more cloud across the far northwest.
03:29Elsewhere, some fine weather on Saturday.
03:31And we'll see the weather change through Sunday and into the beginning of next week.
03:36Take care and I'll see you again soon.
