Television station WPTV NBC Channel 5 of West Palm Beach, Florida did a piece in 2019 which investigated Doctor Scott Katzman of Orthopedic And Laser Spine Surgery of Florida. WPTV found through state records, that Katzman's insurance has paid out more than $1.6 million involving seven malpractice cases and two patient deaths in Florida.

I had my own dealings with Dr. Katzman in 2022 in which he waited 5 months before appointing a junior MD to speak to me about my case and tried to convince me no injuries appeared in MRI which showed 6 inches diameter of infection surrounding a fracture in the bottom of my skull that had gone mistreated and unrecognized for about a year. When I asked the first name of Dr. Wayne J. Broth MD he refused to give it and abruptly ended our recorded telephone call (you can hear it in hours of videos documenting my dealings with these doctors). Strangely, the state of Florida refused to investigate my complaint regarding the practice of a several-times reprimanded doctor.

In August, 2022 I filed a complaint with The State Of Florida Department Of Health VS Dr. Wayne Broth of Florida and New Jersey.

Dr. Wayne Broth also called me from a 908 area code although a person licensed to practice medicine by that name does not show up on the New Jersey license look up page.

After nearly 5 months I am finally put in contact with Dr. Wayne J. Broth, OLSS spinal consultant. I sent my MRI images which were misread by other doctors to New Jersey & Florida based Dr. Scott Katzman's office (Orthopedic & Laser Spine Surgery). His website advertises a free MRI Review. I sent in images and records from many of my MRI and CT scans, showing a very serious head injury which has slowly healed from 2018. I had broken the underside of my skull and had parasites and infection develop over several months. These injuries are clearly visible in the images presented, not noted by the original reading radiologists. In March, 2022, after a request was sent to me for insurance information from past medical visits (I have no insurance), communication from this office ceased (I tried to call back, but was only able to leave a message on their machine).

Then in June I started receiving emails from Jenny, the office receptionist and once again called but was never contacted until July 29th. I was given a number to a Doctor Broth and recorded my telephone conversation with him which can be heard in part 2 of this video. Dr. Broth spends much of the video asking me repeatedly "what doctor told me I have an injury present". Real doctors practicing medicine don't ask such questions, they use their own experience to independently assess scientific and medical data. My experience is doctors who are trying to cover for another MD's error as such questions repeatedly. The broken bone injury, the infection injuries and 3 inch long insects that grew in the wound are clearly visible in the MRI and CT images I emailed them.

00:00All right, as always, you can go to YouTube channel My Medical Nightmare and see 40 plus
00:07hours video on everything that happened to me. All right, Dr. Scott Katzman. You can see several
00:14hours documentation on my interaction with this doctor based in the state of Florida and New
00:21Jersey and his associate, Dr. Wayne J. Broth, MD. I've got scanned records, emails, as well
00:33as recorded telephone exchanges that you can listen to between myself and the offices
00:40of these doctors. They're up on my YouTube channel. I sent images of a very serious broken
00:48skull based injury to these doctors. They stated as such in email and telephone calls that they
00:57reviewed these images and that no injuries appeared. And this was not true. I had a lot of strange
01:04problems crop up in the process of getting my free MRI analysis from these doctors. Sent the pictures
01:14in, in early 2022, there was a brief period of back and forth email exchange between myself and
01:23the office of this doctor. Then in an email, I was asked about insurance information. I, of course,
01:29have no insurance. I have no source of income. And despite them offering a free MRI review,
01:35at this point, five months of silence set in. So they lost interest in helping me out despite their free
01:44surgery service. Finally, five months later, I was contacted and told that Dr. Wayne J. Broth,
01:52who works with Orthopedic Laser Spine Surgery of Florida, had reviewed my records that I sent in
01:59and wanted to do the consultation all of a sudden, out of the blue, really. Yeah, go up there to
02:05YouTube
02:05and listen to that telephone call with Dr. Broth. And you'll hear he tries to convince me for most of
02:11the
02:12call that I have no injury present. Finally, I asked for this doctor's first name and he all of a
02:17sudden
02:17wanted to get off the telephone. So this is very suspicious. All right, WPTV, NBC Channel 5 of
02:26West Palm Beach, Florida, USA, did an investigation news piece in 2019, which mentions Dr. Scott Katzman.
02:36And hundreds of Florida doctors with multiple malpractice payouts still seeing patients.
02:44And they write here, hundreds of Florida doctors who have paid out multiple malpractice claims
02:52are still seeing patients 15 years after voters passed a law that was supposed to take away their
03:01licenses. They mentioned a patient here who Dr. Scott Katzman performed surgery on only to die
03:10apparently from complications involving that surgery days later. And WPTV looked into Dr. Katzman's
03:20medical license online and mentions that he had been disciplined one time by the state of Florida
03:28medical board for performing at least three surgeries at centers that had not been licensed yet to
03:35provide that surgery. He was fined and given a written reprimand. According to a check of state of
03:42Florida records, WPTV Channel 5 found that Dr. Katzman's insurance paid out more than $1.6 million
03:52involving seven malpractice cases and two patient deaths in the state of Florida as of 2019.
04:01They mentioned problems here with having the Florida Board of Medicine and concerns that they are not
04:07doing enough to regulate the activities of doctors named in malpractice situations.
04:16I filed complaints against orthopedic and laser spine surgery. Dr. Scott Katzman and Dr. Wayne J.
04:25Broth with the Florida Department of Health in 2022. I had a lot of problems with the Department of Health
04:35not looking into my case. They stalled the investigation for four months. At one point,
04:44they told me that my records that I provided were not complete. I argued that they had more than
04:51enough material to go on. They weren't interested in the emails which contained IP addresses which the
05:00state of Florida could have traced back to Dr. Katzman's computers, for example. They weren't
05:06interested in the recorded telephone calls between myself and Dr. Wayne Broth. They could have
05:14easily called the doctor's number and spoke to him. You can hear my recorded telephone calls with the
05:21representatives of the Florida Department of Health on my YouTube channel. And eventually,
05:27they simply would not investigate my case and my complaints, despite the fact that there are these
05:34numerous judgments, disciplinary actions, as well as these news reports in the media detailing the actions
05:43of this doctor. I think the state of Florida is simply lazy. The Florida Department of Health, Dr.
05:50Scott Katzman, Wayne J. Broth, in orthopedic laser spine surgery in the state of Florida. These are all
05:57very untrustworthy outfits. And prospective patients out there, do your research before you seek health
06:05treatment in the state of Florida.
