An orthopedic doctor I consulted who gave me a huge run around (eventually wasting a lot of my time and attempting to mislead me) has been censured and reprimanded in the state of New York in Sept., 2024. Additionally, The MD's NY profile mentions he recently paid out on another out of court settlement in Passaic County, NJ & the disposition of recent disciplinary action in The State Of Michigan resulted in a sanction & $500 fine.

Florida State records indicate Doctor Scott Katzman of Orthopedic And Laser Spine Surgery of Florida was finally fined & disciplined for an offense in 2023 after many complaints, lawsuits by patients and customers. A TV news report in 2019 also pointed out that despite the public outcry & outstanding claims, the state was not doing enough to reprimand the MD and allowed him to continue to operate.

Television station WPTV NBC Channel 5 of West Palm Beach, Florida did a piece in 2019 which investigated Doctor Scott Katzman of Orthopedic And Laser Spine Surgery of Florida. WPTV found through state records, that Katzman's insurance has paid out more than $1.6 million involving seven malpractice cases and two patient deaths in Florida.

I had my own dealings with Dr. Katzman in 2022 in which he waited 5 months before appointing a junior MD to speak to me about my case and tried to convince me no injuries appeared in MRI which showed 6 inches diameter of infection surrounding a fracture in the bottom of my skull that had gone mistreated and unrecognized for about a year. When I asked the first name of Dr. Wayne J. Broth MD he refused to give it and abruptly ended our recorded telephone call (you can hear it in hours of videos documenting my dealings with these doctors). Strangely, the state of Florida refused to investigate my complaint regarding the practice of a several-times reprimanded doctor.

In August, 2022 I filed a complaint with The State Of Florida Department Of Health VS Dr. Wayne Broth of Florida and New Jersey.

Dr. Wayne Broth also called me from a 908 area code although a person licensed to practice medicine by that name does not show up on the New Jersey license look up page.

After nearly 5 months I am finally put in contact with Dr. Wayne J. Broth, OLSS spinal consultant. I sent my MRI images which were misread by other doctors to New Jersey & Florida based Dr. Scott Katzman's office (Orthopedic & Laser Spine Surgery). His website advertises a free MRI Review. I sent in images and records from many of my MRI and CT scans, showing a very serious head injury which has slowly healed from 2018. I had broken the underside of my skull and had parasites and infection develop over several months.

00:00All right, as always, you can go to YouTube channel My Medical Nightmare and see 40 plus
00:07hours video on everything that happened to me. All right, update on disciplinary actions
00:13against orthopedic Dr. Scott Katzman. And stay tuned, I'll go into the details of my own patient
00:21experience with this doctor and his associates. Very shady, and these are not very well thought
00:29out scams that they're running. This can be found on the New York State Department of Health website.
00:38And I'll give the exact link to the documents. As of November 2024, this link shows up at about the
00:47fourth position on Google when you type in and search the name Scott Katzman, MD. Some interesting
00:55new items about this doctor can be seen here. He has a new settlement he's paying in Passaic County.
01:04And in a previous video, I mentioned where Katzman was up for disciplinary action in the state of
01:13Michigan. The New York profile for Katzman mentions the outcome of this sanctioned $500 fine. Notice of
01:22sanction for him to be sent to licensing authorities. And then the main topic of this video, in the state
01:27of New York, in October 2024, Dr. Katzman has been censured and reprimanded. And it says here he must
01:36fully comply with the July 10th, 2023 Florida Board of Medicine order. And this is related to the earlier
01:45incident in the state of Florida. There are many complaints against this doctor from patients and
01:53customers. Television broadcaster, WPTV, NBC Channel 5, out of West Palm Beach, Florida, did a piece on
02:02Katzman in 2019. And they looked at his medical practice, orthopedic and laser spine surgery.
02:11WPTV found through state records that Katzman's insurance had paid out more than $1.6 million
02:18in seven malpractice cases. They also found he was linked to two patient deaths through his procedures
02:26in the state of Florida. And they mentioned problems here with having the Florida Board of Medicine
02:33and concerns that they are not doing enough to regulate the activities of doctors named in
02:41malpractice situations. However, despite the number of complaints that exist on the internet
02:49and the coverage in the media, the state of Florida Department of Health has been somewhat
02:56sluggish in holding this medical doctor accountable. You can search Katzman's medical license to operate
03:05at the Florida Department of Health website. And under final disciplinary actions reported
03:12by the Department of Health within the last 10 years, you can find this entry in September 2023.
03:22The allegation is that the doctor made deceptive, untrue, or fraudulent representations
03:29in their operative report, fined $5,000 with additional costs of $7,500. And according to the report
03:40here, Dr. Katzman was credited as leading an operation in 2016, which was in fact performed by another doctor.
03:53And the documents claim Katzman only assisted in this operation. You can see several hours documentation
04:03on my interaction with this doctor based in the state of Florida in New Jersey, and his associate,
04:12Dr. Wayne J. Broth, MD, have got scanned records, emails, as well as recorded telephone
04:23exchanges that you can listen to between myself and the offices of these doctors. They're up on my
04:32YouTube channel. I sent images of a very serious broken skull based injury to these doctors. They
04:41stated as such in email and telephone calls that they reviewed these images and that no injuries
04:48appeared. And this was not true. I had a lot of strange problems crop up in the process of getting
04:56my free MRI analysis from these doctors. Sent the pictures in early 2022. There was a brief period of
05:08back and forth email exchange between myself and the office of this doctor. Then in an email, I was asked
05:14about insurance information. I, of course, have no insurance. I have no source of income. And despite
05:21them offering a free MRI review, at this point, five months of silence set in. So they lost interest
05:29in helping me out despite their free service. Finally, five months later, I was contacted and told that
05:38Dr. Wayne J. Broth, who works with orthopedic laser spine surgery of Florida, had reviewed my records
05:46that I sent in and wanted to do the consultation all of a sudden out of the blue, really. Yeah, go up
05:52there to YouTube and listen to that telephone call with Dr. Broth. And you'll hear he tries to convince
05:58me for most of the call that I have no injury present. Finally, I asked for this doctor's first name
06:04and he all of a sudden wanted to get off the telephone. So this is very suspicious. I filed
06:10complaints against orthopedic and laser spine surgery. Dr. Scott Katzman and Dr. Wayne J. Broth with the
06:18Florida Department of Health in 2022. I had a lot of problems with the Department of Health not looking
06:28into my case. They stalled the investigation for four months. At one point, they told me that my
06:38records that I provided were not complete. I argued that they had more than enough material to go on.
06:46They weren't interested in the emails, which contained IP addresses, which the state of Florida could have
06:53traced back to Dr. Katzman's computers, for example. They weren't interested in the recorded telephone
07:01calls between myself and Dr. Wayne Broth. They could have easily called the doctor's number and spoke to
07:09him. You can hear my recorded telephone calls with the representatives of the Florida Department of
07:15Health on my YouTube channel. And eventually, they simply would not investigate my case and my
07:23complaints, despite the fact that there are these numerous judgments, disciplinary actions, as well
07:31as these news reports in the media detailing the actions of this doctor. I think the state of Florida
07:38is simply lazy. The Florida Department of Health, Dr. Scott Katzman, Wayne J. Broth, and orthopedic laser
07:45spine surgery in the state of Florida. These are all very untrustworthy outfits. And prospective patients
07:54out there, do your research before you seek health treatment in the state of Florida. I believe there's
08:02a possibility of conspiracy in my dealings with Scott Katzman's office as it relates to the other
08:11documentation that you'll see in my videos. There's a curious several month lapse between when I submitted
08:20my MRI and CT images to this doctor and when he finally decided to do the consultation. And I believe
08:30he contacted the original radiologists and doctors involved. Dr. Julian Patrick Druhan, MD,
08:39Donald Shane Kelly, MD, Michael Brandt Ruff, MD, and Angus Baird, MD. These doctors were associated with
08:50Birmingham Radiological Group, Vulcan Imaging Associates, and Ascension St. Vincent's Hospital
08:56in Birmingham, Alabama.
08:59Dr. Broth, I receive your voicemail. I'll give you a shout back whenever you get a chance. 908.
09:03Can you tell me what state you're calling from?
09:06Uh, we're in Florida. Florida and New Jersey.
09:09So did you have a chance to look at these images?
09:12I do, I do. I said, yeah. I looked at the images. You had a lot of scans in the past. What was the reason for that?
09:20Are you a doctor? I am. Okay. If you look at the scans, uh, the issue is pretty obvious.
09:28Okay. Which is what? Okay. Well, you're the doctor. Uh, you didn't see the massive injury?
09:36I didn't. You didn't. Okay. Uh, can you tell me your, your background? Uh, what's your, what's your specialty?
09:44Sure. So I'm internal medicine.
09:46Internal medicine. Okay. Uh, now I contacted, uh, Dr. Katzman, uh, laser spine surgery.
09:53Do you have those images in front of you now?
09:55I do.
09:56All right. So I called, uh, Dr. Scott Katzman, laser spine surgery.
10:00So what do you do in regards to, uh, you know, like, like bone issues, orthopedic issues to relate to the spine?
10:08Yeah. It all depends on what the issue is. We do multiple different procedures, multiple different surgeries. So it all depends on what the problem is, what the symptoms are, what the imaging findings are.
10:19Okay. Are you a radiologist?
10:22I'm not.
10:23Okay. So when you look at these pictures, you, you can, uh, identify injuries necessarily?
10:29Uh, I typically can, but I don't see an injury on yours.
10:33Okay. Uh, so do you have all these images in front of you now?
10:36Um, what do you mean by all? All I have is a, uh, an MRI, a couple, a couple pictures of the MRI.
10:44Okay. I've got an image here and it's, uh, numbered, uh, 34. Screenshot 34. Can you pull that up?
10:52Mm, that I don't have.
10:54Okay. Well, uh, is there any way I could get these, uh, pictures to you so you can send them?
10:59Because I have a very, uh, serious injury. I broke the underside of my skull.
11:04How did you do that?
11:07Uh, how did I do that? That's a good question. I don't know.
11:10But, uh, yeah, anyways, in these pictures you can see, uh, my injury very clearly.
11:15So I had a, uh, infection grow and it grew out to about six inches in diameter that's present in the, the MRR pictures.
11:22So you didn't see that? Six inches diameter of an infection in my skull?
11:26I didn't. Who, no. Who told, did the radiologist tell you that you have an infection in the skull?
11:32Okay. Well, you're, you're the doctor, so I was going to ask you what you thought about it.
11:38Uh, yeah, I don't see any evidence of infection. How do you know that you had an infection there in the skull?
11:43Okay. I will direct you to those images. If you can access them, the evidence is present in the pictures.
11:48So you don't know how you, you said that you broke the base of your skull. You don't know how you did that?
11:54Yeah, I don't. But, uh, almost died from this injury in 2019.
11:59And, uh, I went around to several, uh, hospitals, uh, doctors at that time and had these images, uh, taken.
12:06And they told me I had no injury. I knew better because I was dying.
12:11And then after several months, the infection and, uh, parasites said, and I had three inch long insects grow in this wound.
12:19The upper area of my neck beneath the crack in my skull.
12:23Alright, so who told you that you had parasites growing there?
12:25Okay, you're, you're the doctor, so I'm going to direct you to those images, please, and you'll see the evidence in the pictures.
12:31Yeah, you, you, you don't have any, I don't see any evidence of parasites in, in, in.
12:37Okay, see, see, what, could you give me your name, please? Your doctor, Dr. Broth? What's your first name?
12:44Yeah, I, I, I, it's best that we don't, that, that we probably don't, uh, speak further because I don't think that we're going to be a match for you.
12:51Okay, you, you're, you're not a real doctor, are you?
12:55Oh, yep, you're right. I'm not a real doctor. Yep, exactly.
12:57Okay. Um, yeah, I think it's.
13:00You need to get some glasses and, um, go to, uh, go to medical school and you'll see what happened to me.
13:06And this is not a trivial matter at all, sir. Have a nice day.
