00:18Allah, the Almighty, the
00:20All-Knowing
00:21grantor of protection against all sins
00:24and acceptor of repentance
00:26severe in respect
00:28of punishment and the Lord of
00:30beneficence. There is no
00:32other, cannot be, and
00:34will never be one worthy of worship
00:36but he. Towards him
00:38is the eventual return
00:41None
00:42disputes with regard to the commandments
00:44of Allah except those who
00:46choose disbelief
00:48Therefore do not let their
00:50moving about and control
00:52in the land create misgivings in you
00:55The
00:56people of Noah cried lies
00:58to our messages before these
01:00disbelievers and so did
01:02various other groups after them
01:03And every community
01:06strove to seize their
01:07messengers of God
01:08with a mind to destroy
01:10his mission
01:11And they had begun
01:13arguing with him
01:14by means of false
01:16reasoning that they might
01:17thereby refute the truth
01:19At this
01:21I seized them with my
01:23punishment
01:24Behold
01:25how terrible was my
01:27retribution
01:28as a sequel to their
01:29evil deeds
01:30And it was in this way
01:33that the verdict of your
01:34Lord
01:35that they shall be
01:36inmates of the fire
01:37was confirmed against
01:39those who persisted in
01:40disbelief
01:42Those who bear the
01:43throne of power
01:45the angels and the
01:46prophets
01:47and those who are
01:48around it
01:49declare the glory of their
01:51Lord
01:51along with extolling his
01:53name and praises
01:55They believe in him
01:57and seek protection for
01:58those who believe
01:59saying
02:00Our Lord
02:01you embrace each and
02:03everything in your
02:03mercy and knowledge
02:05so grant protection to
02:06those who repent
02:07and follow the way
02:09shown by you
02:10and protect them from
02:11the torment of hell
02:14Our Lord
02:15admit them together
02:17with such of their
02:18fathers
02:18their spouses
02:19and their children
02:20as are righteous
02:22and so worthy
02:23to the gardens
02:24of eternity
02:25which you have
02:26promised them
02:27You indeed
02:29are the almighty
02:30the all-wise
02:32and save them
02:33from all types
02:34of evils
02:35Indeed

02:38whom on that day

03:20Is then
03:21there a way
03:22out of the
03:22torment

03:27when Allah
03:28alone was
03:29called upon
03:29as one worthy
03:30to be worshipped
03:31you rejected
03:32but when
03:33partners were
03:34associated
03:35with him
03:35you accepted
03:37So the fact
03:38is established
03:39beyond doubt
03:40that this day
03:41sovereignty
03:43belongs only
03:44to Allah
03:44the most
03:45sublime
03:46the incomparably
03:47great
03:48It is he
03:49who shows
03:50you signs
03:51and sends
03:52down for you
03:53provision
03:54from above
03:55for your
03:56physical
03:56and spiritual
03:57well-being
03:57yet none
03:59heed his
03:59revelations
04:00except one
04:01who turns
04:01to him
04:02again and
04:02again
04:03Therefore
04:04call upon
04:05Allah
04:05being sincere
04:07to him
04:07in obedience
04:08though the
04:09disbelievers
04:10and polytheists
04:11may be
04:12averse to it
04:14he it is
04:15who exhausts
04:16the people
04:16in ranks
04:17lord of the
04:18throne of power
04:19he sends
04:20his revelation
04:21by his own
04:22command
04:23to such
04:24of his
04:24servants
04:24as he will
04:25that he may
04:27warn humankind
04:28of the day
04:29of meeting
04:30with the lord
04:32the day
04:33when they
04:33will all
04:34appear in
04:34their true
04:35light
04:35and nothing
04:36about them
04:37is ever
04:37hidden
04:38from Allah
04:38on that
04:40day
04:40they will
04:41be asked
04:41to whom
04:42belongs
04:43the sovereignty
04:43this day
04:44they will
04:45reply
04:45it belongs
04:47only to
04:47Allah
04:47the one
04:48the all
04:50dominant
04:52this day
04:53every soul
04:53shall be
04:54requited
04:54for
04:55deeds
04:56it has
04:56accomplished
04:57no injustice
04:59will be done

05:01reckoning
05:02will be
05:02swift
05:03indeed
05:04and warn
05:06these people
05:06of the day
05:07drawing nigh
05:08day by day

05:10hearts will
05:11leap to their
05:12throats

05:13the unjust
05:15will have
05:16no warm

05:17nor any
05:19intercessor
05:19who will be

05:22prevail for
05:23them on
05:24that day
05:25he knows
05:26the treachery
05:27of the eyes
05:28even when
05:29they commit
05:30sinful acts
05:31secretly
05:31and what
05:33the hearts
05:33conceal
05:36and Allah
05:37judges in
05:38all fairness
05:39but those
05:40idols whom
05:41they call upon
05:42apart from
05:43Allah
05:43can judge
05:44nothing at
05:45all
05:45it is
05:46Allah
05:47who is
05:47the all
05:48hearing
05:48the all
05:50seeing
05:52have they
05:53never
05:54traveled
05:54in the
05:54land
05:55that they
05:56could see

05:57end of

05:58predecessors

06:00mightier
06:00than these
06:01in power
06:01and in
06:02respect
06:02of leaving

06:04monuments

06:10destroyed

06:13savior

08:29I only point out to you
08:31that which I see
08:32and understand myself
08:34and I guide you only
08:35to the path of rectitude

08:40believed in the faith
08:41brought by Moses said
08:42O my people
08:44I fear lest you should
08:46encounter the like
08:47of the day of disaster
08:48which befell other parties
08:50of people of the past
08:52and I fear lest you should
08:54meet the like of fate
08:55which followed the ways
08:57of the people of Noah
08:58and Ad
08:59and the people of Thamud
09:01and those who came after them
09:02and Allah does not want
09:05his servants to go wrong
09:08my people
09:09I fear lest you should
09:11have to suffer on the day
09:12of calling one another
09:14for help in frightful distress
09:16a day when you will retreat
09:18turning your backs
09:20no defender shall you have
09:23against the punishment of Allah
09:24yet none can guide him
09:26to success
09:27whom Allah forsakes
09:29and adjudges to be astray
09:32and Joseph did come to you
09:34before this
09:35with clear proofs
09:36but you continue to be in doubt
09:39about that which he brought to you
09:40till when he died you said
09:42Allah will never raise
09:44a messenger after him
09:46that is how Allah forsakes
09:48and adjudges him
09:49as having gone astray
09:51who is a transgressor
09:53and doubter
09:54those who dispute
09:56concerning the messages
09:58of Allah
09:58without any proof
10:00and authority
10:00having come to them
10:01from Allah to support them
10:04this attitude of theirs
10:05is extremely abhorring
10:07to Allah
10:08and to those who believe
10:11that is how it is
10:13Allah sets a seal
10:15upon the heart
10:15of every arrogant
10:17and haughty person
10:19and Pharaoh said
10:20O Haman
10:22build for me
10:23a lofty tower
10:24that I may find
10:25access to the means
10:28the means of access
10:29to the heavens
10:30so that I may have a look
10:32at the God of Moses
10:34indeed
10:35I consider him
10:37to be a liar
10:39and in this way
10:40his own evil conduct
10:42was made fair seeming
10:43to Pharaoh
10:44and so he was prevented
10:46from following
10:46the right way
10:47yet all the schemes
10:49of Pharaoh
10:50resulted only in ruin
10:53and he who had believed
10:55in Moses
10:56from the people
10:56of Pharaoh
10:57said
10:57O my people
10:59follow me
11:01and I will guide you
11:02in the way
11:03of rectitude
11:04O my people
11:06the life of this world
11:08is but a provision
11:09of a passing nature
11:11and the hereafter
11:13alone
11:13is the permanent home
11:15those who do evil
11:17will be recompensed
11:19in proportion
11:19thereto
11:20to their evil deeds
11:21but the men
11:23and women
11:24who believe
11:24and at the same time
11:26do righteous deeds
11:27it is they
11:29who will enter paradise
11:30where they will be
11:31provided for
11:32without measure
11:33O my people
11:35how strange it is
11:36with me
11:37that I call you
11:37to salvation
11:39whereas you call me
11:41to the fire
11:43you call me
11:44to renounce
11:45Allah
11:45and to associate
11:46with him
11:46that of which
11:47I have no knowledge
11:48while I call you
11:50to the almighty
11:51the great protector
11:54no doubt
11:55that what you call me
11:56to has no title
11:57to be called upon
11:58in this world
11:59nor in the hereafter
12:01there is no doubt
12:03that we shall
12:04all return
12:05to Allah
12:05and that the transgressors
12:07will be the inmates
12:08of the fire
12:10so you will soon
12:12remember
12:12what I say to you
12:13by way of advice
12:14I entrust
12:16my cause
12:17to Allah
12:17indeed
12:19Allah keeps
12:20a keen watch
12:21over his servants
12:24thereupon
12:25Allah saved him
12:26from the evil
12:27of their plans
12:28against him
12:29and the severest
12:30of punishment
12:31befell the people
12:32of Pharaoh
12:34their abode
12:35is the fire
12:37they are presented
12:38to it
12:39morning and evening
12:41and on the day
12:42when the appointed
12:43hour comes to pass
12:44the angels
12:45will be commanded
12:46put Pharaoh's people
12:48into the severest
12:49torment
12:51and think
12:52of the time
12:53when these
12:53disbelievers
12:54will argue
12:55one with another
12:56in the fire
12:56and the humble
12:58will say to those
12:59who sought
12:59to be great
13:00verily
13:01we were your followers
13:03will you not
13:04then relieve us
13:05of a portion
13:06of the punishment
13:06of the fire
13:08those who sought
13:09to be great
13:10will say
13:10now we are all
13:12a judge
13:13to suffer in it
13:14verily
13:15Allah has already
13:16passed his true
13:17judgment
13:17between his servants
13:20and those
13:20in the fire
13:21will say
13:21to the keepers
13:22of Jehanna
13:23call to your Lord
13:25that he may
13:26relieve us
13:27of our agony
13:28for a while
13:29these keepers
13:30will say
13:32did not
13:32your messengers
13:33of God
13:34come to you
13:35with clear signs
13:36they will answer
13:38yes indeed
13:40they
13:41the keepers
13:42of Jehanna
13:42will say
13:43then call yourselves
13:45and your false
13:46deities
13:47but the call
13:48of the disbelievers
13:49will be of
13:50no avail
13:53be assured
13:54that we do
13:55help our messengers
13:56and those
13:58who believe in them
13:58in the present life
14:00and shall help them
14:01on the day
14:02when witnesses
14:03will stand forth
14:04to give evidence
14:06the day
14:07when their apologies
14:08will not avail
14:09the wrongdoers
14:10and they shall have
14:11the disapproval
14:12of Allah
14:12and the evil
14:13abode
14:14will be their lot
14:16and indeed
14:17we gave Moses
14:18our guidance
14:19and made the children
14:20of Israel
14:20inherit the scripture
14:23it was a source
14:24of guidance
14:25and served
14:26as a reminder
14:27for the possessors
14:28of pure
14:29and clear
14:30understanding
14:31so patiently
14:33persevere
14:34the promise
14:35of Allah
14:36is true
14:36ask his protection
14:39for those
14:39who committed
14:40offense against you
14:41and declare
14:42the holiness
14:43of your Lord
14:44along with his praise
14:45at nightfall
14:47and in the early
14:48hours of the morning
14:51those who dispute
14:53regarding the messages
14:54of Allah
14:54without any
14:56authoritative proof
14:57having come to them
14:58from God
14:58in their support
14:59there is nothing
15:01in their minds
15:02but an ambition
15:03for greatness
15:04to which goal
15:05they can never attain
15:06so do not bother
15:08about them
15:09rather go on
15:10seeking refuge
15:11in Allah
15:12against their mischiefs
15:13surely he alone
15:15is the all hearing
15:16the all seeing
15:19of course
15:20the creation
15:21of the heavens
15:22and the earth
15:23is a greater performance
15:24than the creation
15:26of humankind
15:27but most people
15:29do not know it
15:30the blind
15:31and the seeing
15:32are not alike
15:33nor are those
15:35who believe
15:36and do deeds
15:37of righteousness
15:37like the evildoers
15:38yet little is
15:40the heed
15:42you give
15:43oh disbelievers
15:45the hour
15:46of your destruction
15:47is about to come
15:48there is no doubt
15:50about it
15:51yet most people
15:53do not believe
15:54and your lord
15:56says
15:57call on me
15:58I will answer
16:00your prayer
16:01but those
16:02who wax
16:03too proud
16:03to worship me
16:04will surely
16:05enter jehenna
16:06humbled
16:07and despised
16:11it is Allah
16:12who made
16:13for your benefit
16:14the night
16:15so that you
16:16may repose
16:17in it
16:17and the day
16:19giving light
16:20enabling you
16:21to see
16:22verily
16:23Allah
16:23is full of grace
16:25to humankind
16:25but most people
16:27do not
16:28give thanks
16:29such gracious
16:30being
16:31is Allah
16:32your lord
16:33the creator
16:34of everything
16:35there is no other
16:36cannot be
16:37and will never
16:38be one worthy
16:39of worship
16:40but he
16:40whither then
16:42are you being
16:43turned away
16:45thus indeed
16:46were turned away
16:47those who
16:48persistently

16:49the messages
16:50of Allah
16:50it is Allah

16:53for you
16:53the earth
16:54a resting place
16:55and the heaven
16:56a means of protection

17:01with special
17:02faculties
17:03of reasoning
17:03and wisdom
17:05and perfected
17:06your shapes
17:07and faculties
17:08making them
17:09excellent
17:09in every respect
17:10and provided
17:12you with good
17:12and pure things
17:14such is
17:15Allah
17:15your lord
17:16so blessed
17:18be Allah
17:18lord of the worlds
17:21he alone
17:23is the ever living
17:23and the fountain
17:24head of all life
17:26there is no other
17:27cannot be
17:28and will never
17:29be one worthy
17:30of worship
17:30but he
17:31so pray to him
17:33being sincere
17:34to him
17:35in obedience
17:35saying
17:36all true
17:37and perfect
17:38praise belongs
17:39to Allah
17:39the lord
17:40of all the worlds
17:43say
17:43I have of course
17:45been forbidden
17:46to worship
17:46those whom you
17:47call upon
17:48apart from Allah
17:49how can I
17:50since there
17:51have come to me
17:52clear proofs
17:53of their worthlessness
17:54from my lord
17:55and I have been
17:56justly commanded
17:58to submit myself
17:59solely to the will
18:00of the lord
18:01of the worlds
18:02it is he
18:03who created
18:04you from dust
18:05then from a sperm
18:06drop
18:07then from a blood
18:08clot
18:09then he brings
18:10you forth
18:11as an infant
18:11then he lets you
18:13live and grow
18:14with the result
18:16that you attain
18:17to your young age
18:18a full strength
18:20afterwards
18:20it so happens
18:22that you become
18:22old
18:24though there are
18:25some of you
18:25who are called
18:26to death
18:27earlier
18:28indeed
18:29he lets you
18:30live
18:31that you may
18:31reach and
18:32complete
18:32your appointed
18:33term
18:33and that you
18:35may refrain
18:35from evil
18:37he it is
18:38who gives
18:39life and
18:40causes death
18:41and when
18:42he decides
18:43a thing
18:43to be
18:44he says
18:45to it only
18:46be
18:46and it comes
18:48to be
18:48in due course
18:51have you not
18:52considered the
18:53case of those
18:53who dispute
18:54about the
18:54teachings of
18:55Allah
18:56how they are
18:57being turned
18:57away from
18:58the right
18:58course
19:00those who
19:01cried lies
19:02to the book
19:02and to that
19:04message
19:04with which
19:05we sent
19:05our messengers
19:06shall soon
19:07come to know
19:08the consequences
19:09of their denial
19:11when the shackles
19:13and the chains
19:13are put
19:14round their
19:14necks
19:15and they shall
19:16be dragged
19:17into boiling
19:19water
19:19then they shall
19:20be burnt
19:21in the fire
19:22it will be
19:23said to them
19:24then
19:24where are
19:25those false
19:26deities
19:26whom you
19:27associated
19:27with him
19:28and worshipped
19:30them apart
19:30from Allah
19:31they will
19:32say
19:32they are
19:34lost to
19:34us
19:35in fact
19:36we never
19:37prayed
19:37to anything
19:38beside Allah
19:39before this
19:40thus
19:41does Allah
19:42adjudge
19:43the disbelievers
19:44to be lost
19:47it will be
19:48said to them
19:48that is
19:50because
19:50you exalted
19:51in the land
19:52without any
19:53justification
19:54and because
19:55you behaved
19:56with vanity
19:58now enter
19:59the gates
20:00of Jehenna
20:01to abide
20:02therein
20:02for long
20:03so you see
20:05how evil
20:05will be the
20:06resort
20:06of the arrogant
20:08patiently
20:08persevere
20:09then
20:10verily
20:11the promise
20:12of Allah
20:12is bound

20:19we have promised
20:20them
20:21or whether
20:22we cause
20:22you to die
20:23before
20:23to us
20:25they will
20:25be brought
20:26back
20:28and indeed
20:29we have
20:30already sent
20:31our messengers
20:32before you
20:32there are
20:34some of them
20:34whom we have
20:35mentioned to you
20:35and of them
20:37there are some
20:37whom we have
20:38not mentioned
20:39to you
20:39and it is
20:40not given
20:41to a messenger
20:42to bring
20:43a message
20:43by himself
20:44except by
20:45the leave
20:45of Allah
20:46but when
20:47the judgment
20:48of Allah
20:49comes to
20:49pass
20:50the issues
20:51are settled
20:51in all
20:53fairness
20:53and it is
20:54then
20:55those who
20:56endeavor
20:56to nullify
20:57the truth
20:57suffer the loss
21:00it is
21:01Allah
21:01who made
21:02for you
21:02the cattle
21:03so that
21:04you may
21:04ride on
21:05some of them
21:05and you
21:06obtain your
21:07food
21:07through some
21:08of them
21:08and indeed
21:09these cattle
21:10are of much
21:11use to you
21:11and through
21:12them you
21:13satisfy other
21:14desires
21:14which rest
21:15in your
21:15hearts
21:16you are
21:17born on
21:17them by
21:18land
21:18and on
21:19the ships
21:19by sea
21:21and he
21:21is showing
21:22you his
21:23signs
21:24which of
21:25the signs
21:25of Allah
21:26will you
21:27then deny
21:29have they
21:29never traveled
21:30in the land
21:31so that they
21:32could see how
21:32miserable the
21:33end of their
21:34predecessors
21:34was
21:35they were
21:36superior to
21:37them in
21:37numbers
21:38mightier in
21:39force
21:39and stronger
21:40in respect
21:41of the firm
21:42marks in the
21:43land
21:43yet all their
21:45acquisitions
21:45were of no
21:46avail to
21:47them
21:48and when
21:48their
21:49messengers
21:49of God
21:50came to
21:50them with
21:51clear proofs
21:52they vainly
21:53boasted of
21:53their own
21:54partial knowledge
21:55but they
21:56were caught
21:57by the
21:57very thing
21:58which they
21:59used to
21:59treat
21:59very lightly
22:01so when
22:02they saw
22:02our punishment
22:03they said
22:04we believe
22:05in Allah
22:05alone
22:06and we
22:07reject all
22:08that we
22:08used to
22:09associate
22:09with him
22:10but their
22:12belief
22:12was of
22:13little
22:13use
22:13to
22:14them
22:14when
22:15they
22:15have
22:15actually
22:16seen
22:16our
22:16calamity
22:17such as
22:19the law
22:19of Allah
22:20that has
22:21ever been
22:21in vogue
22:22in respect
22:22of his
22:23servants
22:23it is at
22:25such times
22:26that the
22:27disbelievers
22:28suffer a
22:29loss
22:29and are
22:30reminded
22:31it
