00:05With the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Ever Merciful
00:11Cited as witness are those who range themselves in close ranks in various fields of life
00:18And those who drive away the forces of evil vigorously
00:24And those who recite and follow the reminder, the Qur'an
00:30Verily your God is one
00:32Lord of the heavens and the earth
00:35And all that lies between them
00:38And the Lord of the places of the rising and spreading of light
00:43Verily we have beautified and embellished the nearer space
00:49The heaven visible to you
00:51With an excellent embellishment
00:54The stars and planets
00:57And we have placed therein an effective safeguard against every insolently disobedient Satan
01:06They, having no access to the source of prophecy
01:10Cannot listen to what goes on in the exalted assembly of the archangels
01:17They are reproached for their false conjectures
01:21From every side
01:22They are repulsed
01:25A perpetual punishment awaits them
01:29Yet if any one of them snatches away but wants to find out something
01:34He is pursued by a bright shining flame
01:39Therefore ask them, your opponents
01:42Whether it is they, the worldly people
01:45Who are harder in creation
01:49Or those spiritual beings whom we have created
01:54Them we have created out of adhesive sticking clay
01:58So of firm and strong character
02:02Whereas you marvel at this mighty spiritual revelation
02:06They hold you in low estimation
02:11When they are admonished
02:13They pay no heed
02:15And when they see a sign
02:18They seek to scoff at it
02:20And they say
02:22This is nothing but an enchantment
02:24A device causing a split among the people
02:28Well, can it be possible that
02:31When we are dead and reduced to dust and bones
02:36We shall be raised to life again
02:39And shall all forefathers of earlier times be also
02:44Say, yes
02:46And you shall then be disgraced
02:49Then there shall be but a single driving shout
02:53And behold
02:53They will be up and looking on
02:56And they will say
02:59Oh, woe be on us
03:01This is the day of requital
03:05They will be told
03:06This is the day of the last judgment
03:10Yes
03:11The very day you used to cry lies to
03:16Angels will be commanded
03:18Round up those who acted unjustly
03:21And their companions
03:23And the things they used to worship
03:26Besides Allah
03:27Then lead them towards the way of hell
03:31And hold them up for a while
03:34For they have to be questioned
03:37They will be asked
03:38What is the matter with you
03:40That you do not help one another
03:43This day
03:45Rather they will
03:46On that day
03:47Being ashamed
03:48Be completely submissive
03:51Bending their heads low
03:53Some of them will turn to the others
03:56Questioning to one another reproachingly

04:00The seduced ones
04:02Will say to the seducers
04:04Surely you used to approach us
04:07With great force
04:08Swearing your sincerity
04:10To guide us aright

04:13The seducers will reply
04:15It was not so
04:17Rather
04:18Rather you yourselves
04:19Were not inclined
04:21To be the believers
04:24And we had no authority over you
04:27To seduce you
04:28The truth is that
04:30You yourselves
04:31Were an unrestrained people
04:33And given to excesses
04:35So today we all deserve
04:37The judgment of our Lord
04:39We are the sufferers
04:41Of the punishment
04:42For our own evil deeds
04:46So it is we
04:47Who led you astray
04:48For we ourselves
04:50Had indeed gone astray

04:54All of them shall surely
