00:00Saud the truthful God with the name of Allah the most gracious the ever merciful Saud Allah is the truthful
00:12as proof of this fact the Quran which exalts humankind to eminence bears witness
00:19there is nothing wrong with the prophet the only thing is that the disbelievers are suffering from a sense of
00:25false pride and are hostile to him do they not see that we have destroyed so many generations before them
00:34they did not care to listen to the warnings at first then later they cried for help but the time
00:41for escape had passed
00:44they wonder that there should come to them a warner from among themselves and the disbelievers say he is a
00:53sorcerer a great liar in his claim has he turned the whole lot of gods we worshipped into one god
01:03very strange indeed is this thing
01:33is it that this reminder
01:36the Quran has been revealed only to him in preference to all of us
01:42the thing is they have doubts about my reminder itself
01:46as a matter of fact they have not yet suffered the agony of my punishment
01:54do they possess the treasures of the mercy of your lord the almighty the great bestower
01:59or does the kingdom of the heavens and the earth
02:02and all that lies between them belong to them
02:06if so then let them rise higher with the means at their disposal and stop the onward march of islam
02:16but bear in mind the prophecy
02:19there will be several hosts of the confederates
02:23which shall be completely routed here at medina
02:27the people of noah the tribe of ad and pharaoh lord of mighty host treated their apostles before them as
02:35liars
02:36so did the tribe of thamud and the people of lot and the dwellers of the thicket
02:43these were all routed groups of people
02:46each one had cried lies to the messengers
02:49so my punishment rightly became due
03:00they say our lord hurry up with our portion of punishment in this very life before the day of reckoning
03:08bear with patience what they say and remember the event of the life of our servant david the possessor of
03:16might
03:17verily he was ever turning to god
03:21indeed we made the people of the mountains
03:24subservient to him
03:25and they celebrated our praises at nightfall and at sunrise
03:31and we made the birds and the people who were full of dislike for habitations to flock together to him
03:38all of them were always turning in obedience to god on his account
03:43and we strengthened his kingdom
03:45and we granted him wisdom and decisive judgment
03:50have you heard the news of the adversaries of david
03:53who scaled the rampart of the fortress to take david unawares in his chamber
04:00when they intruded upon david
04:02and found that he had become alert on account of them
04:05they said by way of an excuse
04:08have no fear
04:10we are two parties litigants
04:13one of us has transgressed against the other
04:16therefore judge between us as justice demands
04:20and delay not by giving the date of decision
04:23and guide us in our litigation to the fairway
04:28the case of the litigation is that
04:30this is my brother
04:32he has ninety-nine yous while i have one you
04:36still he says
04:38make it over to me
04:39and he has been prevailing by his arguments upon me
04:45david said
04:46he has certainly been unjust to you
04:49in demanding your you to be added to his own yous
04:53and surely many partners transgress against one another
04:57except those who believe in god
04:59and do deeds of righteousness
05:00yet how few are these
05:03while saying this
05:05david realized that we had tried him
05:09therefore he sought protection of his lord
05:12and fell down bowing in worship
05:14and turned to his lord in repentance
05:18so we gave him that protection
05:20sought for by him from that danger he felt
05:23and verily he enjoyed our close proximity
05:27and an excellent status
05:30we said
05:31o david
05:33verily we have made you the ruler in this land
05:36so rule among the people according to the tenets of justice
05:40and do not follow their vain desires
05:43for if you do
05:45it will lead you astray from the path leading to allah
05:48behold
05:50a severe punishment awaits those who go astray from allah's way
05:54because they have forgotten the day of reckoning
05:59and we have not created the heavens and the earth
06:02and all that lies between them in vain
06:05that is the view of the disbelievers only
06:09therefore
06:10woe to those who disbelieve because of the punishment by means of the fire that awaits them
06:18are we to treat those who believe and do deeds of righteousness
06:21in the same way as the creators of disorder in the land
06:26or are we to treat those who guard against evil
06:29in the same way as the wicked and impious
06:34behold
06:34this quran is a great book
06:38which we have revealed to you
06:40full of excellencies
06:42so that these people may ponder over its verses
06:45and so that those gifted with pure understanding may take heed
06:51and we gave a pious son like solomon to david
06:55how excellent a servant of ours he was
06:58for he turned to us in obedience and repentance
07:02again and again
07:05think of the time when towards the close of the day
07:09steeds of the noblest breed
07:12and swift of foot
07:14were brought before him
07:15he said
07:17i prefer the love of good things because they make me remember god my lord
07:23and he remained busy in his devotion and prayer
07:27when these horses disappeared while passing by behind the veil of distance
07:32he said
07:34bring them back to me
07:36then as they were brought
07:38he began to stroke their hind legs and necks with kindness
07:43behold
07:44we tried to solomon too
07:47and we placed on his throne of kingdom
07:49a mere body without any spirit or faith
07:53then he turned to god seeking his mercy
07:57he said
07:58bring
07:59my lord
08:00grant me protection
08:02and bestow on me a kingdom that belongs to none by inheritance after me
08:07you indeed are the great bestower
08:11so we accepted his prayer
08:13and we subjected to him a gentle wind
08:16it blew gently according to his requirements in the direction he desired to go
08:23and we also subjugated to him
08:25the rebellious people
08:27all their builders and divers
08:30and others among them who were bound in chains
08:35we said to him
08:36this is our gift that knows no measure
08:39so give it freely or withhold it
08:42from whomsoever you deem fit
08:44without reckoning
08:46behold
08:47there is for him solomon
08:49our close proximity
08:51and an excellent resort
08:55and recall our servant job
08:57when he called to his lord saying
09:00the devil of the desert thirst
09:02has afflicted me with weariness and torment
09:06we directed him
09:08urge your riding beast
09:10with your foot
09:11and depart swiftly
09:12there lies yonder a cool bathing place
09:15and a refreshing drink
09:17not only that
09:19but rather we gave him his own family
09:22and the followers he had before
09:24and as many more with them in the form of new adherents
09:28by way of mercy from ourselves
09:30the lesson thus taught
09:32will serve as a means to attain eminence
09:35for those gifted with pure and clear understanding
09:40and we commanded him
09:42take in your hand a handful of twigs
09:45and strike the riding beast therewith
09:47and do not ever incline towards falseness
09:51indeed
09:52we found him steadfast
09:55an excellent servant was he
09:57he was always turning towards God in obedience
10:04we call our servants
10:06Abraham
10:06Isaac
10:07and Jacob
10:09all endowed with power for action and insight
10:12we had indeed chosen them for one special purpose
10:16for reminding people of the abode of the hereafter
10:21and of course they are in our sight
10:24among the elect and the select
10:27and recall Ismael
10:30Elisha
10:31and Lul Kifl
10:32Ezekiel
10:33they were all of our chosen ones
10:36this narrative is the way to eminence
10:39behold
10:41there awaits the righteous
10:43a beautiful and excellent resort
10:45gardens of eternity
10:48with their gates thrown open to receive them
10:52there they will be reclining comfortably
10:55on couches
10:56and there will be order at pleasure
10:59for many sorts of fruits and drinks
11:02and they will have by their sides
11:04chaste mates
11:06with downcast and restrained looks
11:09and of suitable age
11:11and matching in every aspect
11:15this is what you are promised
11:17for the day of reckoning
11:20verily this is our provision
11:22which knows no end
11:23this is the reward for the righteous only
11:27as for the rebellious
11:29surely evil is their end
11:32Jehanna
11:33wherein they will enter
11:35and it shall be an evil cradling
11:38for nursing them to spiritual growth
11:40this is what the disbelievers will have
11:44so let them suffer from it
11:46a burning despair
11:47and intensely cold and stinking drink
11:51and other various torments
11:54of similar nature
11:56it will be said to their leaders of mischief
11:59this is a whole army of yours
12:03which is rushing headlong with you into hell
12:06there is no welcome for them
12:08they are bound to enter the fire
12:11they their followers will say to their leaders
12:14nay it is rather you who deserve hell
12:17there is no welcome for you either
12:20in truth
12:22it was you that brought about this evil punishment for us
12:25by leading us astray
12:27what an evil resting place it is
12:31they will then say
12:33our lord
12:34whoso brought about this evil end for us
12:39increase for him
12:40more and more agony in the fire
12:44and these inmates of hell will say
12:47what is the matter with us
12:49that we do not see here
12:51the men whom we used to count among the wicked
12:55is it because we unjustly held them in scorn
12:58or is it that our eyes have missed them
13:02behold
13:03this is an invariable fact
13:06that the inmates of the fire will be disputing together
13:11say
13:11I am only a warner
13:14there is no other
13:16cannot be
13:17and will never be one worthy of worship but Allah
13:20the one
13:22the subduer of all
13:24the lord of the heavens and the earth
13:27and all that lies between the two
13:30the almighty
13:31the great protector
13:34say
13:35this is a very important announcement
13:38yet you are turning away from this
13:42I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly
13:45comprising of the angels in the upper zones
13:47when they discussed the matter among themselves
13:51but all that has been revealed to me
13:53is that I am a warner
13:55telling the right from the wrong
13:58call to mind when your lord said to the angels
14:00I am about to create a human being from clay
14:05and when I have fashioned him in perfection
14:07and I have inspired into him of my revelation
14:11then fall down submitting to him
14:14so when he inspired into him his revelation
14:17the angels submitted
14:19one and all
14:21but Iblis did not
14:23he behaved arrogantly
14:25for he was of the disbelievers
14:29God said
14:30O Iblis
14:32what prevented you from submitting to him
14:35whom I have created with my own special powers
14:38bestowing him with the maximum attributes
14:41is it that you seek to be great
14:44or is it that you are really of the highly proud ones
14:48above obeying my command
14:51Iblis said
14:52I am better than he
14:55you created me from fire
14:57while you created him from clay
15:01God said
15:02then get out of this state
15:04you are surely driven away from my mercy
15:07and surely upon you shall be my disapproval
15:11till the day of judgment
15:13Iblis said
15:14my lord
15:16reprieve me
15:17till the day when the people are raised
15:19to life
15:21God said
15:22you are of course of the reprieved ones
15:25till the day
15:27of which the time is known and fixed
15:32Iblis said
15:33I swear by your might
15:35I will surely seduce them all
15:38except your servants from among them
15:41the true and purified ones
15:43who are out of my powers
15:46God said
15:47truth has dawned
15:49and I speak the truth
15:51that I will fill Jehenna
15:54with the like of you
15:56and with all those from among them
15:58who follow you
16:00say O prophet
16:01I ask no reward from you for it
16:05nor am I of those
16:06who are given to affectation
16:08and are impostors
16:10this Quran is nothing but a means
16:13to rise to eminence for the peoples
16:15and you shall surely know
16:17the truth of the news
16:18thereof before long
16:20have a point of that
16:20and I'm just going care
16:21to o for the push
16:21and if you want to
16:21and I will see you
16:21it as part of
