00:12is he who revealed al-furqan to his servant that he may be a warner to all the peoples
00:20it is he to whom the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth belongs and he has begotten nor taken
00:27to himself a son nor is there any associate with him in the sovereignty he has created everything and has
00:35determined its proper measure
00:36yet people worship apart from him gods who rather than create anything are themselves created and who have no power
00:47of averting harm or doing good to themselves
00:49nor have they any control over death or life or resurrection but those who believe say this quran is nothing
00:58but a big lie which he the false claimant to prophethood has forged
01:04and other people have helped him in this
01:08by so saying they have perpetrated a great injustice and a big falsehood
01:17they also say this quran consists of fables of the ancients that he has got written down and now they
01:26are read out to him morning and evening
01:30say he who knows every secret of the heavens and the earth has revealed this quran verily he is great
01:39protector ever merciful
01:41they say what sort of a messenger is this that he even eats food and also goes about in the
01:49marketplaces
01:50why has no angel been sent down to him that he may help him and be a warner along with
01:57him
01:58or a treasure should have been sent to him or there should have been a garden from which he might
02:03eat
02:03not only that these unjust people say you follow none but a mere man who is given food
02:12look what fantastic stories they concoct with regard to you
02:16it is therefore that they have gone astray and are unable to find a way
02:23blessed is he who is pleased to assign to you better than that
02:30gardens served with running streams
02:32and will also assign to you palaces
02:37nay the real fact is they the disbelievers cry lies to the hour of the evil doom of the disbelievers
02:45and final victory of the Muslims
02:47and we have in store a blazing hell for him who cries lies to the hour
02:54when it the blazing fire sees them from afar they will hear its raging and roaring
03:03and when they are thrown into some narrow place of it chained in fetters
03:08they will call out for total destruction there and then
03:13it will be said to them this is no time to call out for a single death
03:17you had better call out for a series of deaths
03:22say
03:23is this end better
03:25or the everlasting paradise which is promised to those who guard against evil
03:30and which is their due reward and ultimate resort
03:34they shall have there
03:36all that they desire
03:38and they will abide in this state of bliss forever
03:41it is a promise
03:43binding on your Lord
03:45and to be always earnestly prayed for from him
03:49beware of the day
03:51when he will gather them together
03:52and the things they worship
03:54apart from Allah
03:56he will ask
03:57was it you who led these servants of mine astray or did they themselves stray away from the right path
04:05they will say
04:06holy is your name
04:08it did not behove us to take patrons apart from you
04:11but you bestowed on them and their fathers
04:14the good things of life to such an extent that they gave up remembrance of you
04:19and became a ruined people
04:22then we shall say to the idol worshippers
04:24now these deities have given you the lie
04:27and contradict you with regard to what you said
04:30so today you have
04:32no power to avert the penalty
04:34or get help of any sort for yourselves
04:38remember
04:40whosoever of you acts unjustly
04:42and goes wrong
04:43we shall make him suffer a great punishment
04:48and we sent
04:49no messengers before you
04:51but they surely ate food
04:53and walked in the marketplaces
04:54and were human models for you to follow
04:57in every walk of life
04:58and we try you one with another
05:01to show if you
05:03will then patiently persevere
05:05and your Lord is
05:07ever all seeing
05:13those who entertain no fear
05:15about being present before us
05:17nor do they expect it say
05:19why should not the angels be sent down to us
05:22for we see our Lord
05:24they have indeed thought very highly of themselves
05:27and have exceeded all limits of transgression
05:32do they not realize
05:33that the day when they will see the angels
05:36there will be no good tidings that day
05:38for those who cut off their ties with God
05:41and they will say in distress
05:44would that there were some strong barrier
05:47between us and this punishment
05:50and we have turned our attention
05:52to whatever attempt they have made against Islam
05:55and so we will render this attempt
05:57like thin dust particles
05:59scattered about as it was in the battle of Badr
06:03only the owners of paradise
06:05will be better off
06:06with regard to their abode
06:08and happier still
06:09in respect of their place of repose
06:13call to mind
06:14the day when the
06:15heaven shall burst
06:17and melt into raining clouds
06:19and the angels
06:20shall be made to descend
06:22in large numbers
06:24the true sovereignty that day
06:26shall belong only to the most gracious God
06:28and it shall be really
06:30a very hard day for the disbelievers
06:32on that day
06:34the unjust
06:36shall bite his hands in regret
06:38he will say
06:40if only I had followed
06:42the same path
06:43along with the messenger
06:45ah
06:46woe is me
06:47would that I had not
06:50made friends with so and so
06:53he indeed
06:54led me astray from this source
06:56of rising to eminence
06:57after it had come to me
06:58and satan
07:00is ever a deserter
07:01of human being
07:02in the hour of need
07:04and on that day
07:06the messenger will say
07:07my lord
07:08my people
07:10treated
07:10even this Quran
07:11as a thing
07:12abandoned
07:14just as we have
07:15turned them into
07:16your enemies
07:17so do we make
07:18those who cut off
07:19their ties with
07:20Allah
07:20as the enemies
07:22of each and every prophet
07:23yet your lord
07:25is sufficient to guide
07:26and enough
07:27in respect of rendering help
07:30and those who disbelieve
07:32say
07:32why has not the whole
07:34of the Quran
07:34been revealed to him
07:36all at once
07:37but we have revealed it
07:39in this manner
07:40piece by piece
07:41out of necessity
07:42and in spite of the fact
07:44that it has not been revealed
07:45all at once
07:46we have arranged it
07:48in an excellent form
07:49and order of arrangement
07:50and free of all
07:52contradictions
07:52so that we may thereby
07:54lend strength
07:55to your heart
07:57and they bring you
07:58no parable
07:59by way of an objection
08:00but we have provided you
08:02with the true fact
08:03and perfect interpretation
08:05of it
08:05in answer to the objection
08:07beforehand
08:09and those who shall be
08:10brought to Jehenna
08:11dragged on their faces
08:13and along with their leaders
08:15are the worst placed
08:17and they have completely
08:18lost the straight path
08:21and we gave Moses
08:23the scripture
08:23and made with him
08:25his brother Aaron
08:26a sharer of his burden
08:28we said
08:29go both of you
08:31to the people
08:31who have cried lies
08:33to our commandments
08:35then
08:35when they had accomplished
08:37their mission
08:37of conveying the message
08:39and were again rejected
08:40we destroyed
08:42these disbelievers
08:43with an utter destruction
08:45and we destroyed
08:47the people of Noah
08:48too
08:48when they treated
08:49our messengers
08:50as liars
08:51we drowned them
08:53and made them
08:54a sign for people
08:55indeed
08:56we have in store
08:57a woeful punishment
08:59for such
08:59of the wrongdoers
09:02and tribes
09:03of Ad
09:04and Thamud
09:04and the people
09:06of the Ras
09:06and many
09:08a generation
09:09in between them
09:10were all destroyed
09:13and for the guidance
09:14of each one of them
09:15we quoted
09:16excellent pieces
09:17of advice
09:18and when they still
09:20persisted in refusal
09:21we ruined
09:22each one of them
09:23a complete
09:24ruination
09:27and certainly
09:29these
09:30Meccan
09:31disbelievers
09:32passed by
09:32the ruined
09:33townships
09:34which suffered
09:35a painful
09:35rain of stone
09:36have they not
09:38been seeing
09:38the ruins of this
09:39of course
09:41they have
09:41they do not
09:43and expect not
09:45to be resurrected
09:46after death
09:47and to be called
09:48to account
09:49for their deeds
09:50and whenever
09:52they see you
09:52they treat you
09:54disdainfully
09:54saying
09:55what
09:56is this
09:58the man
09:58whom allah
09:59has raised
09:59for a messenger
10:02he indeed
10:03had well
10:03nigh
10:04led us
10:04astray
10:05from our
10:05gods
10:05if
10:06we
10:06had
10:06not
10:07adhered
10:07to them
10:07steadfastly
10:08and they
10:09shall soon
10:10know for certain
10:11when they see
10:12the punishment

10:15path

10:19taken

11:50take heed

12:01have raised

12:02prophethood

12:10hard against
12:11them with
12:12the help
12:12of this
12:12Quran
12:13a mighty
12:14striving
12:14it is
12:16he who
12:16has let
12:17the two
12:17spans of
12:18water
12:18loose
12:18to flow
12:20one of
12:21them
12:21a river
12:22sweet
12:22and thirst
12:23quenching
12:23while the
12:24other
12:25a sea
12:25saltish
12:26and bitter
12:27and he
12:28has set
12:29a barrier
12:30and an
12:31insurmountable
12:32partition
12:32between them
12:33still
12:34both exist
12:35side by
12:36side in
12:37the world
12:37and would
12:38continue
12:39and it
12:40is he
12:41who created
12:41human being
12:42from water
12:43and has
12:44given him
12:44relations
12:45by descent
12:47and kinship
12:48by marriage
12:49and thus
12:50sought to
12:50establish a
12:51civilization
12:52and social
12:53life based
12:53on oneness
12:54of humanity
12:55under oneness
12:55of God
12:56and your
12:57Lord is
12:58all powerful
13:00yet they
13:01the
13:01disbelievers
13:02worship
13:03apart from
13:04Allah
13:04the things
13:05which can
13:06neither do
13:06them good
13:07nor avert
13:08harm from
13:08them
13:09and the
13:10disbeliever
13:11is ever a
13:11helper of the
13:12upholders of
13:13the cause of
13:14untruth
13:14against his
13:15Lord
13:17but we have
13:18sent you
13:18only as a
13:19bearer of
13:20happy tidings
13:21to the
13:21doers of
13:22good
13:22and as a
13:23warner to
13:24the wicked
13:24and the
13:25unjust
13:26say
13:27I ask of
13:28you no
13:29recompense
13:30for it
13:30all that I
13:32ask
13:32is that
13:33whoever
13:34chooses
13:34may follow
13:35the path
13:36that leads
13:36to his
13:37Lord
13:38hence
13:39put your
13:40trust in
13:41the ever
13:41living God
13:42who is

13:44and glorify

14:16when it

17:12but listen to them

17:15eyes open

17:17reminded of them
17:18so that their
17:19belief is based
17:20on convictions
17:21and not
17:21on mere
17:22hearsay
17:23and who
17:24in their
17:25prayers
17:25say
17:26O
17:26our
17:27Lord
17:27grant
17:28that
17:28our
17:29spouses
17:29and our
17:30children
17:31be a source
17:31of comfort
17:32for our
17:32eyes
17:33and make
17:34us a model
17:35for those
17:35who guard
17:35against evil
17:36it is such
17:38of those
17:38who will
17:39be rewarded
17:39the highest
17:40place in
17:41paradise
17:41for their
17:42fortitude
17:42and they
17:43will be
17:43received
17:44therein
17:45with greeting
17:46of salutation
17:47of peace
17:49they will
17:50abide therein
17:50forever
17:51how excellent
17:53it is
17:53as a lodging
17:54place to rest
17:55and how noble
17:57as an abode
