00:01fatir originator with the name of allah the most gracious the ever merciful all kind of true and perfect praise
00:12belongs to allah the originator of the heavens and the earth
00:16who employs as his messengers the angels having two or three or four pairs of wings and so possessed of
00:26powers speed and qualities in varying degrees
00:30he adds to the creation of these wings and thus to the powers and abilities of the angels as much
00:37as he will in accordance with the importance of the work entrusted to each one of them for allah is
00:44possessor of power over his every desired thing
00:49whatever blessings of mercy allah showers upon humankind there is none to withhold them and none can grant that which
00:58he withholds after it has once been withheld by him
01:02he is the almighty the all-wise
01:07o people remember the favor of allah that rests upon you
01:13is there any creator other than allah who provides all sorts of provisions for you from the heaven and the
01:21earth
01:21there is no other cannot be and will never be one worthy of worship but he
01:27whither are you then being led astray
01:32if they cry lies to you
01:34you need not bother because other messengers of god have already been cried lies to before you
01:41yet all matters stand referred to allah for his final judgment
01:47o people
01:49the promise of allah is undoubtedly true
01:52so do not let the present life deceive you
01:56and do not let the avowed seducer
01:59seduce you away from allah
02:03surely
02:04satan is an enemy to you
02:06so treat him as an enemy
02:08he calls his party only to follow him
02:13with the result that they become of the inmates of the blazing fire
02:18there awaits a severe punishment for those who disbelieve
02:23but there awaits his protection
02:26and a great reward
02:28for those who believe and also do deeds of righteousness
02:34can the person
02:35the evil of whose conduct is made to appear pleasing and regards it as good
02:41be in a position to discern the truth and so be rightly guided
02:46allah forsakes him who wishes to go astray
02:49and he guides him aright who wishes to get right guidance
02:54so do not fret yourself to death because of them
02:58surely allah knows what they do
03:02and allah is he who sends the winds which raise vapors in the form of clouds
03:09when the clouds rise
03:12we drive them towards a tract of land which has no sign of life
03:17and make thereby the barren land fertile
03:20green
03:21and flourishing
03:22that is how the quickening of the dead shall come to pass
03:28whoever seeks glory
03:29let him turn to god as all glory belongs to allah
03:34all good and pure words of faith go up to him
03:38and all the righteous deeds exalt that faith
03:41as for those who plan evil plots
03:44there awaits them an agony of a severe nature
03:48the evil planning of such is doomed to fail
03:52and allah created you out of dust
03:56and then from a drop of fluid
03:58and then made you pairs male and female
04:02and no female conceives a child
04:05nor does she give birth to it
04:08but it is in accordance with his
04:11the creator's knowledge
04:14and no one who is granted long life
04:17gets his life prolonged
04:18or gets it reduced
04:20but all this is in conformity with some law
04:24verily it is easy for allah to impose such laws
04:30the two great bodies of water are not alike
04:33this one is palatable
04:35sweet and pleasant to drink
04:38while the other is saltish and bitter
04:40yet in spite of all this
04:43you take for food
04:45fresh and wholesome meat of fish from them both
04:48and bring out from them
04:51pearl-like things used in ornaments for your wear
04:54and you can see the ships cleaving their way through it
04:58so that you may seek of his bounty
05:00by means of commercial navigation
05:03and so that you may give him thanks
05:06he causes the night to gain on the day
05:10and he causes the day to gain on the night
05:14and he has harnessed the sun and the moon into service
05:18each one of them will go on moving for a specified term
05:23such is the majesty of allah your lord
05:27all power belongs to him
05:30but those whom you call upon apart from him
05:33have no power at all
05:35not even equal to the husk of a date stone
05:40if you pray to them
05:42they do not hear your call
05:44and even if they could hear it
05:46they could make you no response
05:51and on the day of resurrection
05:53they will deny that you associated them as partners with God
05:57and none can inform you about the all-important truth
06:02like Allah who is all aware
06:06O people
06:07it is you who are dependent upon Allah
06:11for your physical and spiritual needs
06:14but Allah
06:15he is self-sufficient
06:17independent of all needs
06:19the praiseworthy in his own right
06:22if he please
06:24he may destroy you and replace you with another people
06:27and that is not at all difficult for Allah to do so
06:33and no soul that bears its own burden of responsibility
06:37can bear the burden of another
06:39and if a soul heavily laden with the weight of sins
06:44calls to be relieved of its burden
06:46not the least of its burden shall be borne by the other
06:50even though it calls its near kinsmen
06:55you can warn only those who hold their lord in awe
06:59in the heart of their hearts
07:01and observe prayer
07:03and one who purifies oneself
07:06shall do it only for the good of one's own soul
07:10for to Allah shall be the eternal return
07:14the blind person
07:16and the person who sees
07:18are not alike
07:19nor the thick darkness of ignorance
07:23and the light of Islam
07:25nor the shades of the heaven
07:28and the horrid heat of the hell fire
07:32the spiritually living
07:34and the spiritually dead
07:37are not alike
07:38Allah causes to hear whom he will
07:42but you cannot make those hear
07:45who are lying buried in the graves of ignorance and prejudice
07:50you are only a warner
07:54verily we have sent you with the lasting truth
07:57as a bearer of glad tidings
08:00and as a warner to them
08:03for there has been no people
08:05but have been warned by a warner from God
08:09and if they cry you lies
08:12remember their predecessors
08:14also cried lies to their messengers of God
08:17though their messengers had brought to them
08:19clear proofs
08:20the scriptures
08:21and the illuminating book
08:25then I took those who disbelieved to task
08:28then you saw how terrible was the result
08:31of my disapproval of them
08:33and how tremendous was the change I brought
08:38do you not see that Allah sends down water from above
08:42and brings forth therewith fruits of diverse varieties
08:46and there are white and red strata in the mountains
08:50they have various other colors also
08:54and some are jet black
08:58likewise
08:59there are some species of human beings
09:03beasts and cattle of colors
09:06varying one from another
09:09only those of his servants
09:11who are endowed with right guidance
09:13and who can visualize the unity of the creator
09:17by pondering over the diversity of the creation
09:21hold Allah in reverential awe
09:24mighty is Allah
09:26great protector
09:29surely
09:30only those who follow the book of Allah
09:33and observe prayer
09:35and spend for the cause of Allah
09:38privately and in public
09:40out of that which we have provided for them
09:43thereby hope to do a bargain
09:45which will never fail
09:48the result of it is that
09:50he will give them their full reward
09:52for their righteous deeds
09:53and even increase them
09:56out of his grace and bounty
09:58verily
09:59he is great protector
10:00most appreciating
10:02of their right endeavors
10:04and multiplier of reward
10:08and the perfect book
10:09which we have revealed to you
10:11is the lasting truth
10:12it confirms the truth
10:14of the prophecies
10:15about the advent of Islam
10:17contained in the revelations
10:19that preceded it
10:20verily
10:21Allah is all aware
10:22of his servants
10:23and a keen observer
10:25of them
10:27we always made
10:28only those
10:29whom we had chosen
10:30from among our servants
10:31the inheritors
10:32of our book
10:33some of them
10:35are hard upon themselves
10:36and so unjust
10:38to their souls
10:39for suppressing
10:40their egos sternly
10:42there are others
10:44among them
10:44who are moderate
10:45and are following
10:46the middle course
10:48there are yet
10:49others among them
10:50who by the leave of Allah
10:52are foremost
10:53in acts of goodness
10:55that indeed
10:56is the great distinction
11:00their reward
11:01will be gardens
11:02of eternity
11:03they shall enter them
11:05and there
11:06they shall be adorned
11:08with bracelets
11:08of gold
11:09and pearls
11:10and their robes
11:12therein
11:12will be made
11:13of silk
11:14and there
11:15they will say
11:16all true
11:18and perfect praise
11:19belongs to Allah
11:20who has rid us
11:22of all our sorrows
11:24surely
11:25our Lord
11:26is great protector
11:27most appreciating
11:30it is he
11:31who has lodged
11:33us in the lasting
11:34abode
11:34by his grace
11:35herein
11:37we know
11:37no toil
11:38herein
11:39we know
11:40no weariness
11:42but as to those
11:43who disbelieve
11:44there awaits them
11:46the fire
11:47of Jehanna
11:48it will not
11:49be the end
11:50of them
11:50so that they
11:52might die
11:53nor shall
11:54some part
11:55of his agony
11:56be reduced
11:56for them
11:57that is how
11:59we requite
12:00every ungrateful
12:01person
12:03and therein
12:04they will clamor
12:05for help
12:05saying
12:07our Lord
12:08take us
12:09out of hell
12:09we will do
12:11righteous deeds
12:12different from those
12:12we used to do
12:13in our previous life
12:14we shall say
12:16to them
12:16did we not
12:17give you life
12:18long enough
12:19so that
12:20he who might
12:21have liked
12:22to take heed
12:23could take heed
12:25during its course
12:26there came
12:27a warner
12:27to you
12:28as well
12:29so suffer
12:30now
12:30the agony
12:31of hell
12:32there is
12:33none
12:33to help
12:33the wrongdoers
12:34here
12:37verily
12:37Allah knows
12:38the hidden
12:39realities
12:40of the heavens
12:40and the earth
12:41he knows
12:42full well
12:43the innermost
12:44secrets
12:45of the minds
12:46of the people
12:48it is he
12:49who made you
12:50rulers on the earth
12:51so one
12:52who chooses
12:53to disbelieve
12:54now
12:54will suffer
12:55the consequences
12:56of his disbelief
12:57their faithlessness
12:59will win
13:00for the disbelievers
13:02nothing but
13:03increased
13:04displeasure
13:05of their lord
13:05indeed
13:07their faithlessness
13:08will only
13:09make worse
13:10the loss
13:11of the disbelievers
13:13say
13:14have you
13:16considered
13:17regarding
13:18your associate
13:19gods
13:19whom you
13:20call upon
13:20apart from
13:21Allah
13:22show me
13:23then
13:24what they
13:24have created
13:25of the earth
13:25or have they
13:27any partnership
13:28in the creation
13:29of the heavens
13:30or have we
13:31given these
13:32worshippers
13:33of false
13:34deities
13:34a book
13:35so that
13:36they are
13:37supported
13:37by some
13:38clear proofs
13:39mentioned
13:39therein
13:40nay
13:41not so
13:43at all
13:43but the truth
13:45is that
13:45the wrongdoers
13:47hold out
13:48vain promises
13:49one to another
13:50only to deceive
13:53verily
13:54Allah
13:55sustains
13:56the heavens
13:56and the earth
13:57lest
13:58they should
13:59swerve away
13:59from their course
14:00should they
14:02swerve away
14:03there is
14:04none to
14:05uphold them
14:05and save them
14:06from destruction
14:07but he
14:08verily
14:09he is
14:10ever forbearing
14:11great protector
14:14these people
14:15used to
14:16swear by
14:17Allah
14:17by their
14:18most ardent
14:19oaths
14:20that if
14:20ever a
14:21warner
14:21should
14:22come to
14:22them
14:22from
14:23Allah
14:23they would
14:24be more
14:24rightly
14:25guided
14:25than
14:25any one
14:26of the
14:26nations
14:28but when
14:29a warner
14:29did come
14:30to them
14:30this coming
14:31of his
14:32only increased
14:33them in
14:34aversion
14:35and made
14:36them behave
14:37arrogantly
14:38on the earth
14:39and devise
14:40evil schemes
14:41yet
14:42evil scheming
14:44recoils
14:44on none
14:45but its
14:46authors
14:47they are
14:48then
14:48only waiting
14:49that we
14:49should
14:50follow
14:50the same
14:50practice
14:51which we
14:51did in
14:52dealing
14:52with the
14:52peoples
14:53of old
14:54and you
14:55will find
14:55no change
14:56in that
14:56law of
14:57Allah
14:57nor will
14:59you ever
14:59find the
15:00law of
15:00Allah
15:01shifting
15:01from its
15:02course
15:04have
15:05they not
15:05traveled
15:05in the
15:06land
15:06and seen
15:08how evil
15:09was the
15:09end of
15:10their
15:10predecessors
15:10while those
15:12were a
15:13people superior
15:14to and
15:15stronger than
15:16these in
15:16might
15:17there is
15:19nothing in
15:19the heavens
15:20or on the
15:20earth
15:21that can
15:22render void
15:23the plans
15:24of Allah
15:25verily he
15:26is possessor
15:27of perfect
15:28knowledge
15:29all powerful
15:31if Allah
15:33were to
15:33take people
15:34to task
15:34for every
15:36little of
15:37their evil
15:38doings
15:39he would
15:40not leave
15:40on the
15:41surface of
15:41this earth
15:42a single
15:43living creature
15:45but he
15:47out of his
15:48all embracing
15:49mercy
15:49grants them
15:51respite
15:51till a
15:52stated term
15:53and when
15:54their appointed
15:55time comes
15:56they come
15:57to realize
15:57that Allah
15:58has his
15:59servants
15:59well
16:00under his
16:01eyes
16:01he deals
16:03with them
16:03according to
16:04the nature
16:05of their
16:05deeds
