00:00For all the details on what happened to me regarding my injury, we're pushing 100 hours
00:05plus of video now. YouTube channel My Medical Nightmare. Alright, some big news out here at
00:12the end of the first week of January 2026 about the relocation of the corporate headquarters
00:20for radiology group Vulcan Imaging Associates. Viewers to my channel know of the many troubles
00:29that I and other patients and customers had dealing with this company. I'll share more on
00:36my story later in the video. So first of all, the new location is only about one mile away
00:44from their old address at 2204 Lakeshore Drive, Suite 140, Birmingham, Alabama 35209. So the new
00:55corporate headquarters is listed as 3300 Cahaba Road in the Shades Brook office building. And
01:04this is just off Highway 280 and Shades Creek Parkway, Lakeshore Drive. Yeah, some of the features
01:12of this property are worth noting. The compound has easy access via an off and own ramp, which
01:21are literally a couple feet from the actual address. As you'll read in my own case and some of the
01:29experiences of others, Vulcan Imaging is primarily about generating revenue. And the way they do that
01:38is through the doctors that they represent. So my analysis is this location, it lets the doctors
01:46swoop in from the big highway 280, coordinate, collaborate, pick up their paycheck, etc. And
01:55then they pop right out. This news was posted to Instagram via Harbor Retail on January 8th,
02:032026. And they mentioned here, Mr. Philip Curie and Grace Adams of J.H. Berry, a real estate company
02:12who represented the landlord. I think it a worthy investment of your time and money if you have any
02:20dealings or responsibility to this property to immediately look into your new tenants, Vulcan Imaging
02:29Associates. Because in my experience, they generate revenue in business through surreptitious tactics.
02:37There are many patients and customers in the Birmingham, Alabama area who have been trying to
02:42get in touch with Vulcan Imaging because of billing and service issues. And they're routinely hung up on,
02:51met with rude representatives, etc. If you only had to deal with Vulcan Imaging Associates
02:58and had a billing matter, you might have made off pretty good as a customer and patient because what
03:06happened in my case is I was misdiagnosed and I almost died because other doctors told me that I
03:14had no injuries present despite the fact that I did. Yeah, my experience dealing with Vulcan Imaging
03:21associates and reading about others' experience is they will do and say anything to get your money.
03:29And once they got it, they will not speak to you. Their tactics involve targeting affluent communities,
03:37subdivisions, neighborhoods around Birmingham, Alabama. They'll go into an area such as Mountain Brook
03:45or around the vicinity of the Greystone neighborhood up on Highway 280. They'll sponsor events in these areas.
03:56They're interested in a clientele who have exemplary insurance like a lot of corrupt doctors.
04:04Once they find security in well-paid insurance, they'll leach on Vulcan Imaging.
04:12They regularly reply to reviews and complaints, but the reality is this is simply a token or a procedural
04:22issue. Whenever you call the number or attempt to communicate with Vulcan Imaging Associates and the
04:30discussion starts to lean toward culpability, liability, or responsibility on the part of Vulcan Imaging
04:39and their doctors. As you'll hear in my own recorded call at the end of this video, they'll start making up
04:47lame excuses and eventually hang up on you. I was a patient customer of a Vulcan Imaging Associates doctor
04:55and I'll go into my own situation with what happened to me. I had an MRI of my head handled by Vulcan Imaging
05:04Associates and St. Vincent's in Trustville, now UAB in 2019. In my own scan, I was told I had no injuries.
05:14I knew better because I was close to death. Almost died from this. Went and got those pictures. I'll put
05:19the pictures up here in this video. As you can see in this MRI, I've got about six inches diameter
05:26infection inside my head. Vulcan Imaging Associates Neuroradiological Specialist doctor, Michael
05:34Brant Ruff, MD, went to school for 10 years to do his job. He wrote in my records and report, which you
05:43can see in this video also, I scanned these in, he said I had no injury present. This created a very
05:50uh, uncomfortable situation that has yet to be resolved and is outstanding as of this recording
05:58April 4th, 2025. Uh, took these issues to basically all concerned and uh, they all refused to correct
06:09their error, admit their mistake, uh, do a reread. Oh yeah. And they sent me a bill for this MRI and it
06:16was uh, somewhere north of $600. Interestingly, Vulcan was working with St. Vincent's Ascension,
06:24who did the scan for me. On November 1st, 2024, Ascension sold this location and five other
06:32hospitals to University of Alabama at Birmingham and this whole system has been rebranded UAB St.
06:40Vincent's. Why did Ascension sell and leave the area? My story is definitely something that the public
06:46needs to be aware of because the practices that were allowed to occur in the St. Vincent's
06:53hospitals and medical facilities were probably enough to shut this place down. Just a personal
06:58perspective, my injury and all the complications, my own issue is worth several million dollars.
07:05Alright, so today we're trying to follow up on the Michael Brandt Ruff MRI that I had done in 2019. I was
07:12referred to this scan by Northside Medical Associates, uh, nurse, James Frankie Crum. Uh,
07:19uh, this is now Complete Health, uh, owned by Pharaoh's Capital. This is located off of Happy
07:26Hall Road, Trustville, Alabama, uh, headquarters in Pell City. Michael Brandt Ruff is a doctor who read
07:34the MRI for St. Vincent's Ambulatory Healthcare Network, LLC. That's Ascension. If you're following
07:46my documentation, uh, you'll note here, uh, that in Birmingham, Alabama, uh, we got a real big problem,
07:53uh, with, uh, responsibility, uh, accountability, and, uh, radiology. And this week I talked to the two
08:02main radiology companies in Birmingham, Alabama. And I recently spoke with
08:10Doyle Stewart, CEO of Birmingham Radiological Group. According to their website, they have 38
08:17radiologists who work with them. And, uh, here in this call, you'll hear me speaking with Kim Mooney.
08:24She is the administrative coordinator at Vulcan Imaging Associates. And, uh, she states that they
08:32have, uh, 37 radiologists who work with them. So if you got, uh, radiology issues, you go in to a
08:43medical practice or hospital doctor, you have an x-ray, MRI, CT scan. Uh, these are the types of doctors,
08:50uh, and these may be the actual doctors who will be looking at your scan in, uh, the Birmingham area.
08:59And, uh, yeah, according to my findings here, uh, not very, uh, reassuring. Uh, if your scan is misread,
09:06you discover this and you try to seek, uh, redress on these misdiagnosis issues. Uh,
09:16not encouraging, uh, my experience here.
09:18You have reached Vulcan Imaging. Vulcan Imaging, Ms. Kim.
09:24Yes, ma'am. I called last week. I was trying to get in touch with one of your radiologists, Dr. Michael
09:30Brant Ruff. Uh, I had an, I had an MRI scan, uh, that was looked at by this doctor in 2019. Uh, got a
09:39report, uh, with his signature on it, saying I don't have injuries. Uh, however, in the MRI images
09:47themselves, I have evidence of a very, uh, serious, uh, head trauma-based injury. And yeah,
09:53I, I was told last week, uh, that you guys were trying to have this doctor, uh, get in touch with
09:58me. So it's been about a week and I just wanted to see, uh, what the status of that was.
10:03Okay. So, um, I did, uh, look into this and based on, um, I mean, there's not anything else we can
10:12do. So there's not anything that, that Dr. Ruff can do to assist you with that since the
10:17report's already been read. Okay. So there's not anything we can do. Well, I, I beg to differ. Uh,
10:23this was a $700 MRI scan. This doctor, uh, was paid to have this scan looked at and he, uh, did not
10:30note the injuries. So he is at fault. And so is, uh, Vulcan Imaging. We stand by that report,
10:37a hundred percent. Okay. Well, the report is an error, a hundred percent, ma'am. Can I speak to
10:42somebody in management? Uh, yes sir. I am the practice administrator. Okay. Can I speak to the
10:50head of the company? Um, let's see. Who's above you? Um, the chairman of the board. Okay. Well,
11:00I need to speak to somebody in authority because, uh, you're an error with your statement, ma'am.
11:04Not professional. I am so sorry you feel that way, but when you stand by. Well, it's not how,
11:11it's not how I feel. It's the facts, ma'am. Well, now what you, if that's, if you're, what you're
11:18stating, I would, I mean, we would respond, you know, maybe if you consult an attorney to have. Well,
11:25I mean, if I can't, if I can't speak to somebody on the telephone about this,
11:29I'd be happy to come clear it up in person. You're more than welcome to come up here, um,
11:36and talk to whoever you need to talk to. Um, uh, this is a serious issue. I, I understand that
11:46from your perspective. Yeah. Your, your excuses aren't going to cut it either, ma'am. It's not,
11:52it's not excuse, sir. I really don't know how to help. Um, what you should do is, okay, you're in
11:57business. All right. Well, you have a doctors who went to school for 10 years. They're millionaires.
12:02Okay. They're reading, uh, radiology reports for hospitals and other doctors. Okay. What you need
12:09to do is you need to have them do their job correctly. And if they miss major injuries in
12:14patients that they almost died from, such as myself, you need to simply, uh, make an attempt
12:19to correct this error. Now I could get in touch with Dr. Michael Brant Ruff. I could supply my records.
12:25He could look at these images again. We can clear this up in a few minutes. Could I please
12:29talk to him? No, sir. You're, you're, I can't reach out to Dr. Ruff. Um, we, we don't consult
12:36with patients. Um, that's a, that's a very sorry excuse, ma'am. I'm so sorry. That's our
12:42policy. Um, let's see. What can I do to help you? Let's see. Um, let's see. Uh, Eric Blackman
12:52is my CEO. Well, I mean, why, why are you mentioning his name? Why don't you just connect
12:58me to him? He's not in the office. Oh, that's pretty convenient, huh? Well, it's the truth.
13:06Um, I don't believe you. I'm so sorry about that. Um, yeah, me too. Uh, let's see. What
13:15I can do is I can give you, let's see. His direct number is? How many radiologists work
13:25for your company, ma'am? Um, I have, uh, 37. So you have 37. Um, why don't you take this
13:34scan, call somebody right now and have them look at this scan and correct this issue for
13:38me. But that is not how radiology works. We can understand. Yeah, you're not professional.
13:44So we've already established that.
13:45So we've already established that.
