00:00hello there welcome to your Thursday morning weather update from the Met
00:04office it's wet across southern counties through today showers across the
00:08northwest in between some drier weather this feature here then brings some heavy
00:12downpours as we head through today you can see this warning zone covering
00:16southern counties it will eventually clear through this evening as well a bit
00:20of a chilly one into Friday morning with a frost before more showers move in
00:24notice low pressure still dominating our weather the air remains unstable through
00:29Friday further showers likely this morning if you're stepping out some rain
00:33across the far east of Scotland northeast Scotland Aberdeenshire showers further
00:38west some hill snow likely few showers also further south across the northwest of
00:43England clipping the far north of Northern Ireland but some dry skies
00:45generally a few across Irish sea coast down towards the west country and then
00:50we look at this feature here this is where the rain is through this morning
00:53with clouds spilling ahead of it it will intensify through the morning causing
00:57problems through this morning Russia as well as evening rush hour expect some
01:02heavy downpours the winds will be very gusty as well some spray as well as the
01:07risk of flooding on roads extending towards East Anglia the Midlands as well as
01:13East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire so through this morning lots of different
01:17types of weather around so we'll see that rain clear the east of Scotland showers
01:22continue across the west of Scotland clipping the far north of Northern Ireland a
01:26few running in across these Irish sea coast through the morning into the
01:30afternoon but with some brighter skies as well this rain then gradually extends
01:35across the Midlands towards the Humber wash area it will be heavy through the
01:41afternoon causing problems on the roads through evening rush hour yet again with
01:45some clearance coming in from the southwest temperatures then a bit chilly
01:49across the north five or six degrees Celsius at least there you'll see some dry
01:52weather away from the northwest of Scotland through the day and up to
01:56around 10 with that gusty wind for the south and east and that wind will be with
02:00us across East Anglia with that rain clearing as we head through evening time
02:04frost returns across central and eastern areas of the country with a rash of
02:08showers extending from the southwest and pushing north eastwards into the
02:12early hours of a Friday morning and yet again we could see some snow over the
02:17higher ground cloud will build through the day on Friday some brighter breaks but
02:21showers never too far away particularly towards more western areas as well as the
02:25northwest so that's the picture on Friday now into the weekend things that
02:30rather murky a little rain drizzle around I watch out for some fog as well and
02:36rather chilly under those thickening cloud skies and that's how we see Sunday as
02:41well more details of our 10 10 day trend check out our YouTube channel and this
