00:00We take a look at wind at this point now Minneapolis specifically the last time
00:05that the data refreshed here did not register a wind gust. However, I can tell
00:09you we've had 10 to 20 mile per hour sustained wind speeds the last couple
00:13of hours in the area. So St. Paul certainly seeing the wind and we have
00:18started to see some stronger gusts working their way in. Earlier we had a
00:2223 mile per hour gusts registered in Minneapolis. We have 28 in Sioux
00:26Falls. So certainly the strong wind gusts working their way to the east like
00:29we've been saying is going to be a problem. Now here's the precipitation
00:33side of things zooming in on radar and clouds looping over the last six
00:38hours here. You can see the snow. It's been moving into the area here into the
00:42Twin Cities, but it's been that mix right on the line between snow and freezing
00:47rain or sleet. None of that is a good situation. That's for sure no matter what
00:52form of precipitation you do have. Now overall today and tomorrow we're
00:57racking up, well depending on where you are, 1 to 3 up to 15 inches of snow. So
01:04where do things stand right now? Let's go to our storm reports, take you through
01:08some of the snow reports that we have gotten already. Well right around
01:12Minneapolis, if we click on some of these snow reports here, if they will populate
01:17for me, see if any of them populate for me. Further to the north we have an inch
01:21report coming in from last night, just a couple tenths of an inch further to the
01:26east. We get into central northern Wisconsin. We get 1.1 inch report, a one
01:32inch report. Some of these are a little bit higher, but I just happen to be
01:35clicking on all the one inch reports. There's the 2.3. The point is some of you
01:39already measured one to three inches of snow for the most part, and some of you
01:42are going to add on a little bit more. Others, you get a little bit of a break
01:46until the next system moves in. So taking a look at future radar, here's how
01:49this system plays out as it works its way to the east. Overnight, Chicago, Green
01:55Bay, Detroit, you're seeing either rain or snow, depending on where you are. We go
01:59into tomorrow morning. I mean, it takes its time here, Detroit, Chicago, into Iowa.
02:04You're still going to have some precipitation, whether it's snow, freezing
02:07rain or rain, for your morning commute. Keep that in mind. You might want to give
02:11yourself some extra time. This works its way into the northeast. We're left
02:15tomorrow evening with lake effect snow showers in the Great Lakes areas, but
02:19also look to the west. Our next system already moving in. It's going to be a
02:23Thursday, Friday clipper, very similar to this last one in the amount of snow, but
02:27you can see it has more of a southern track. We'll take a closer look at that
02:31coming up in the big three, but just want to show you the lake effect snow, what
02:34to expect here. Not a lot of snow. It's inches, not feet this time, but again, the
02:39wind is the concern here as we take a quick look at the wind map. 40, 50, even up to 70
02:44mile per hour gusts that can create blowing snow, rapidly dropping visibility.
02:49Then we'll make this 치료elace 채소 — at on really another case of snow.
02:53So this is where the window, the kipers are kind of, before this thing we'll
02:54take intoaster. So we're going to use something like this.
02:56So put it in the video encima on the coordinator, close out on a
02:59new piano you'll see. So this is where we're from the internet to
03:01go, and then go. Sorry, but you're not getting out.
03:04So that's not going to let us just be in place.
03:07So it's按ers. This is the project that we've loaded on grey
03:10that I think we'll try to ruin this video before.
03:13I think I'm afraid we can push them down later to the
03:14area. So we won't have to wait, bub derived from powdery.
