00:00Let me go over to Seattle there and go up to the Pacific Northwest.
00:03What's happened to the Mariners this year?
00:08So, and we say what's happened to them this year, but in this, I mean,
00:12it's a little worse this year because I think the division's down,
00:16the Rangers are not good.
00:17The Astros are not good.
00:18And there's a huge opening for the Mariners to fill that spot,
00:21to be the best team in the division.
00:22So I think we might be expecting more out of them, but really,
00:25is this anything new for the Mariners or is this what they do every year?
00:29Because for me, since I've really, you know,
00:32dove into the capping part of baseball,
00:34I feel like the Mariners every single season have a team that's got the
00:37pitching staff, not just the pitching staff,
00:39one of the best pitching staffs in baseball.
00:42You know, they've got the hitters in their lineup, but they can't hit,
00:46they can't produce runs when they're needed, right?
00:48They might go out there and win an eight to 10 ball game,
00:51but when it's a, when it's a two to one ball game,
00:53they don't get the runs that they need.
00:55They lose those one run ball games year in year out.
00:59It's a culture thing, Dan.
01:00That's my answer is it's a culture thing.
01:02It's a culture thing in the clubhouse.
01:03And no,
01:04I'm not in that clubhouse to give you exactly what the,
01:06what the temperature of the room is.
01:08But I can tell you this,
01:09when you have something that we see season over season,
01:13over season,
01:14that turns me into looking at the culture of the,
01:17of the Mariners here.
01:18And then another thing,
01:19you can't see the baseball at T-Mobile park.
01:22That's why they have such good pitching numbers and such bad hitting
01:24numbers.
01:24It's like the Cowboys stadium with the glare, fix it, do something.
01:28Everybody says they can't see the baseball at T-Mobile park.
01:30And you just keep playing baseball at T-Mobile park.
01:34Okay.
01:34So since you're capping baseball games and baseball teams,
01:39dude, do I put money on the white socks?
01:41Every time I'm waiting for that thing to turn into a pumpkin, you know,
01:45Cinderella went out, you know, it struck midnight.
01:49And that thing turned back into a pumpkin.
01:51Are they going to be a pumpkin or are they going to be somebody at the end
01:54of the year?
01:58I think they might be somebody.
02:00I think they might, you know,
02:01you've seen some of the teams that I was hoping would turn out that turned
02:04into that pumpkin.
02:05You're talking about like the pirates and some of these other teams that I
02:08was really hoping could push through.
02:10I think the white socks can, can,
02:12I know there are only three games above 500 right now,
02:14but their culture and their clubhouse,
02:16which is what I come back to.
02:17They've got, they've got good,
02:18they've got good energy right now around this team.
02:22And the Astros too, right?
02:24Making a pushback to try to get back in this thing a little bit, right?
02:29I mean, they don't got to do much if they can just, you know,
02:32stay above all they, all they got to do is stay above 500.
02:36You'd be a 500 baseball team.
02:37You get to win that division.
02:38Boy, Rangers dropped six in a row, losing three straight to the Astros.
02:42It's tough for me to watch because I kind of root for the Rangers,
02:45but I have money on the Astros.
02:47So go Astros.
