00:00Radar and clouds. It's been very, very stormy. Some of the storm reports have been pretty dynamic with several tornadoes
00:05reported, but also damaging straight line winds plowing through eastern Iowa. And again, it's one concentrated zone of storms here
00:14that has been really aggressive that lands at the end of this loop in that circle. Additional thunderstorms are becoming
00:20strong and severe here up into the upper peninsula of Michigan and far northern Wisconsin. Two zones of concentrated storm
00:27threats. And again, as I showed you earlier, that severe thunderstorms
00:29watch graphic. We had the one in the northeast. We got another one in northern Wisconsin and upper peninsula of
00:35Michigan. Then another one that's been actually extended all the way into parts of the Quad Cities area. So severe
00:41thunderstorm watches in effect in some of these areas with wind, fierce wind, isolated tornadoes and hail all concerns. We're
00:48going to trade that nasty weather tonight in northern Wisconsin in for beautiful weather on Saturday. One thing to keep
00:55in mind, while Iowa during the day, we're kind of highlighting the middle of the day here into the afternoon,
00:59forecast. It looks good, but these storms will be rumbling east, pushing into Iowa tomorrow evening and tomorrow night. So
01:07while the daytime weather looks okay for central Iowa, we get back into thunderstorm zones here Saturday evening and Saturday
01:14night. And some of them will be severe with more wind and flash flooding in a similar area. Omaha, especially
01:21during the afternoon and then moving east. And then Sunday, we do it again. The same area just facing round
01:26after round in Iowa and then eventually pushing into northern Illinois and
01:29Indiana. So it's a very active pattern. These storms plowing through eastern Iowa. They're nasty. And as we move forward
01:36in time, a new episode will break out Saturday afternoon. Look out in Omaha. Could see some major delays there.
01:41And then into Sunday morning. This is late Saturday night, early Sunday morning. Overnight thunderstorms breaking out, fueled by the
01:47low level jet winds aloft, fueling these late night storms. And then into the day on Monday, we're going to
01:53do it again. Here we get into Monday. This whole stripe from
01:55around Chicago all the way down into Ohio, West Virginia, western Pennsylvania, Monday could face some strong storms. So here
02:03it is. Chicago, northern parts of Indiana, much of Ohio, southern Michigan, into western Pennsylvania, west Virginia, western Maryland, and
02:11western parts of Virginia. That's Monday and Monday evening severe risk map. And next week, I think the biggest story
02:17of the nation is going to be repetitive rounds of storms really rumbling through this area day after day. That's
02:22what we're focusing on with our forecast feed.
02:25Monday, we begin to step into this pattern. Minneapolis to Des Moines all the way to Pittsburgh. Gusty storms through
02:31Chicago. But flooding is going to become an increasing problem. Just the repetitive nature of these storms really begin to
02:39pile up. And we have a big number there for AccuWeather local storm acts. Worst case scenario, somebody next week
02:44could see up to a foot of rain. I do think there will be a lot of areas with three
02:48to five, three to six inches of rain over the course of the four-day window.
