00:05racetrack which she's told to by the official and we'll be ready to go so are you ready for

00:12sx1 here at the australian gp let's drop the gate

00:17a random with a great start on the 20 goes wide but cevache tries to come up the inside and joey

00:31is going to get the lead early on that number 17 quad lock honda

00:36man a random is right after him and look at eli tomac and coming with tomac as roxson

00:43and also in the mix is the 28 of christian craig and the other quad lock honda

00:48roxson with a bit of a bobble that's going to cost him at least three spots through there

00:56wow i'll tell you what the sound of 450s off that gate gives me absolute chills and i can only imagine

01:04what joey cevache felt in that first quarter when he made the move to the lead gets up front backing

01:09up superpole what a feeling yeah he's going to get a whole nother feeling here too as he's getting

01:13hounded by eli tomac on that red bull ktm oh wow roxson tried to get to the inside on craig

01:20and it didn't work out and you can see craig look back over his shoulder at him as he squirts away

01:25but this is ken roxson's mo he likes to attack early make moves so i like the aggression he just

01:31wasn't able to make two of those moves work but he better hurry because if tomac gets by savache

01:36gets that open track good luck in an eight lap sprint but like joey look at what he's doing here

01:42playing great defense leading the way and look at christian craig as well craig on the other quad

01:47lock honda is all over the backside of tomac so they've got him bookended for now and here's cooper

01:53webb webb is up to six and he's trying to close up on the backside of roxson right now yeah he's

02:00opening that roxson and a ram that inside on tomac and christian craig makes a great move to put the quad

02:07lock racing honda's one and two oh then he bobbles and hands it right back to tomac and the ktm you

02:14know what roxson now gets inside of the 20 of aranda and that'll move him up a spot give him fourth for

02:20now i think the fans are loving this action early in this race we've got battles all over the place

02:28and if you're christian craig do it again i mean that should be a confidence lifter to follow up

02:33with the way you rode in practice today you passed eli tomac he's sitting right there get him again and

02:38you better hurry because here comes kenny yeah well tomac's getting a little aggressive too looks like

02:42he's tired of waiting he fended off craig and now he's thinking i better just get around this 17 and

02:49there it is tomac makes the move and the red bull ktm goes into the lead the thrill and the applause of

02:56the crowd here in australia so much he tries to attack back at the 17 can't get it done inside he

03:02goes tomac cuts it up oh and he almost t-bones so much and roxson gets around so much on the outside

03:09that great racing action here at the australian gp incredible an incredible race craft so much

03:15is he looking inside on roxson but kenny gets away kenny was so sneaky through all that he made

03:20the move by craig and joey and he's so good in those moments and now we get it again vancouver 2.0

03:26it's tomac and roxson let's go tomac trying to find his line get his rhythm going he knows roxson's

03:34there and roxson ready to battle his old nemesis here they fight a pair of world champions tomac

03:42the reigning world champ roxson a two-time world champion and here they come through the

03:48whoops look how quick they two are oh roxson squares it up and can't get it at the finish line jump

03:53tomac goes inside roxson takes the highlight to the next corner roxson on the outside again can

04:01he get it done yes ken roxson to the lead 15 years of this these boys go back to their youth they've

04:09been battling since the 250 days even mini bike days and here they are in their 30s pushing

04:15the limit and for this moment ken roxson makes the move and gets the better of the number one

04:20of eli tomac great work kenny and this is exactly why we have a sold out stadium here on the gold

04:25coast these australian fans have been so anxious to see these top level legends battling it out just

04:32like they are here tonight and these racers are delivering in the australian gp and think back

04:38to those mistakes oh roxson oh man tapping into the top blocks he was so close to the edge of the

04:43track through the woods ralph a first lap mistake a second lap mistake he recovers he regroups and that

04:48race cap comes into play he gets craig gets the bocce nice and slick and then one-on-one with the

04:53legend tomac this is an incredible moment and ride by ken roxson not only did he get around him

05:01he's pulling away from him the gap right now is a second and a half

05:06what an answer from vancouver i mean and this is almost done we're already up to last six here

05:15of the scheduled eight and roxson looking for 10 points here

05:19it's just a perfect balance of aggression and craft and throttle control on a slick track i mean

05:28kenny is at the top of his game right now as a battle heats up between them teammates it ain't over

05:33with them tomac still getting through the top of the whoops as good as anybody ever has

05:39and craig and savanchi this is a bit of a blow i got to believe that joey savanchi

05:46daniel not only has he lost the leaves and second but he's lost third to his teammate yeah tough go

05:53after winning the super bowl hey jason anderson got smacked pretty good by a ronda there took him

05:59out in the corner before the finish line jumped you're going to see his name drop yeah down to

06:0310th now but good ride by christian craig he needs to build off of what he did in those early laps

06:08joey savanchi fast and super pole but tough first race for him and cooper webb oh to fifth

06:14the closing big problems here that was savanchi on the and guess what webb goes by savanchi with a

06:22huge problem webb gets around him and joey loses another spot you don't often see teammate on

06:29teammate crime right there for christian craig he keeps it together goes wide looks back savanchi

06:34he loses the spot wow there might be some words back in the quad lock honda truck after that one that

06:39was pretty aggressive after that quad and unfortunately team owner yurif konski not here tonight

06:45to keep things cool if it does get elevated passion wise yeah this is sprint race one i mean

06:51what we're seeing so far i think we're just getting started in the night but this man

06:56is so impressive and again it's hard to lose a supercross race and then bounce back to next

07:01weekend on a legend like eli tomac but kenny put his head down in that one i mean he was perfect

07:07from lap three on and that's great recovery too because those two big mistakes could have cost him

07:12and shook him up a little bit it did nothing of the source on to the final lap here ken roxson out front

07:18and leading the points leader coming to the checkered flag ken roxson will win sx race one sx one race one
