00:00thoughts. I think we need to bring up the math. Anderson is mathematically in place to get the
00:07overall. He's only a couple down. Two down. Two down. So the math is there, but after race two,
00:12Broxton and Tomac really separated themselves from everybody, but you never know. The track's
00:17gnarly. We take a mistake, a bad start. Anderson is mathematically in contention for this. You see
00:22the line that Kenny has down to Carpe turn number one. How do you feel about that, Jeff? I like his
00:27gate pick, and he was just making sure that he's lined up properly on that metal starting gate.
00:33Look at the bottom of your screen. You can see it's about the width of the foot pegs, just wide
00:38enough for the riders to get their boots down and to be level and be touching metal and not dirt.
00:44Tomac, I believe, is a couple of gates over to the right of Ken Rockson closer to the doghouse.
00:52There's Vince Friese, the 7-19 on the start. Who has not had a great night here tonight.
00:57Well, he got a good start in race one. He was second, I believe, and then he got shuffled back pretty quickly.
01:06One minute to go here as we get set for this final gate. Drop of the night.
01:14There you can see Rockson in the center and two riders between him and Tomac.
01:21And I will say, looking around BC Place here, this place is packed and the fans, this is it, the final race.
01:29And do not count out Justin Cooper just on the opposite side of the doghouse from Tomac.
01:34He's been great on the starts. We said at the beginning of the night, the first challenge for these riders coming into Canada
01:42is to get the gate drop hole shot.
01:47That's the first challenge of the night. Let's see who can get it here in the third and final race.
01:5432nd board is away. Here come the Rebs. One bite finally entering and we're underway in Vancouver.
02:01Tomac with a great start. He's going to get the hole shot of that Red Bull KTM.
02:05Wow. Massive hole shot. And Rockson's mid-pack.
02:09Yes, he is. He's back in about 10th position. There he is right there jumping into your screen.
02:15But out front, it's the Red Bull KTM of Eli Tomac with Justin Cooper right behind him on the 32 in second place.
02:23We all know that Eli Tomac loves power, wants power.
02:27I talked to Ian Harrison today after practice and he said, we're giving him everything we got.
02:31He used all of it there.
02:32And look who just moved into third on the Suzuki. That's Anderson.
02:36But look at how fast Rockson has gotten into the top five.
02:40And here he comes trying to get inside of Christian Craig. That'll put him in fourth.
02:43He's got it done now. He's on his teammate's backside.
02:47Yeah, Rockson made a really aggressive pass. He knows that Tomac's out front.
02:51Can he not waste any time? Anderson knows he's there.
02:53Now Obre allows his teammate to go by. Rockson's up to third, closing on Cooper.
02:58Clashes of Millville. Ken Rockson goes through the field so good on opening laps.
03:04He sees the track different. He talks about the fast twitch muscles that he uses.
03:08Perfect example of it there. He wastes no time on anybody on the opening laps.
03:14Ken Rockson on that progressive PMG Suzuki going after him.
03:19He's got his teammate behind him holding down third.
03:23And he's got his arch nemesis up in front of him.
03:26All right. So here's the challenge for Ken Rockson.
03:29He needs to get past Justin Cooper.
03:32But he's also 3.1 seconds behind Tomac.
03:36So he can't lose any more time.
03:38And he has to make the move and then try to reel in Tomac.
03:41Last time around, Tomac was a 54.1 and Rockson was a 55.
03:47Rockson is right there on Cooper.
03:48He's got him to the outside.
03:50Into the whoops they go.
03:52And you've got a new rider in second place.
03:54His name is Ken Rockson, a two-time World Supercross champ.
03:57Well, and this was my comment before the race started.
04:00I feel like the only two riders that are going to be able to make some passes
04:04if they don't get the start is going to be Tomac or Rockson.
04:08Well, Tomac didn't need it.
04:10Rockson just proved that point right.
04:12But now does he have the speed to catch Eli Tomac?
04:16Okay, a 55.2 for Tomac, a 54.6 for Rockson.
04:21The gap over the finish line jump, 2.7 seconds on that last lap.
04:25We're a fourth of the way through this one.
04:27Let's see how it plays out.
04:29Well, he's got the speed.
04:30He's proven that.
04:31Now, can he sustain it?
04:33Because this track is the toughest it's been all night long.
04:36The track has done their best, but this thing is rutted up.
04:39We're not even halfway through.
04:40Points as we run Tomac up by four.
04:43That's how they would finish.
04:44The overall would go to Tomac, and he would break the tie with Rockson.
04:50Tomac once again at the end of that whoops section.
04:53That Red Bull KTM was a little bit side to side with that rear wheel.
04:57Rockson better through the whoops that time around.
05:00Look at him cutting the turn right there, cutting down early,
05:02and staying out of all of those nasty ruts, it was a half a second quicker than Tomac.
05:09Yeah, he ran a 54.3 to a 54.8, and he shaved off a few tenths.
05:15The gap is now 2.2 between the top two as we get into lap five here.
05:20Different rhythms before that triple.
05:22Tomac doing the big line.
05:24Kenny staying low and doing that tap off the tabletop.
05:26So I love that about this track.
05:28You don't have to take the same line.
05:30A lot of different things are working.
05:32These two are using different options.
05:34That might be the key as we close this thing down and this track tears apart.
05:38Rockson was 3 1⁄2 seconds behind Tomac when he made the pass on Justin Cooper.
05:44Now it's 1 1⁄2 seconds.
05:46He's chopped it in half, and we have about half of the race left to go.
05:51One thing we know that is not going to come into play here with these two athletes is fitness.
05:57They are both at the top of their game when it comes to fitness.
06:00You see the two different lines.
06:07Tomac going over those breaking bumps, going to the outside.
06:10Rockson trying to draw, you know, take the shorter line to the inside.
06:16And I like what Rockson does right here.
06:18Doubles up onto the berm.
06:20Watch how he cuts down to a clean line.
06:23Look at this, the ultimate lap so far tonight.
06:25Tomac has put together the quickest sectors in all four here tonight.
06:31He would have the ultimate lap if you could piece the perfect lap together.
06:36He is really ripping on that Red Bull KTM.
06:40Hammering those whoops.
06:41Dropped in with a little 3 out.
06:43They found that line.
06:44Cody Schock was doing it earlier.
06:45Kenny's done it in this race as well.
06:47Guys, as he crosses the finish line, jump.
06:51Eli Tomac is halfway home here in race number three from the checkered flag.
06:55Well, the gap was one and a half seconds.
06:58Now it's almost three seconds.
07:00Yeah, 2.8.
07:01Just like that, Tomac drops the hammer.
07:04He's found his lines.
07:05He's found the groove and the focus.
07:08He had the pressure of Rockson.
07:10And that intensity back there just has spurred him on.
07:14Oh, and Rockson clips a tough block.
07:17That's not going to help him at all.
07:22He's still working at the Suzuki, the number 94.
07:25He's got a lot of time left, plenty of time.
07:28But Justin Cooper hasn't fallen off the back that much either.
07:33He's still in third.
07:34Anderson has continued to hold off Christian Craig on the 28.
07:38And behind them is Joey Savace running in sixth.
07:44Throw some respect out to those boys.
07:46He's still blitzing those whoops all the way through as beat up as they are.
07:50Two of your taller riders known for their whoop speed late in this race,
07:54late in this night, still blitzing through in their battle for fourth.
07:58We have a shout out to Henry Miller at 7th and Politelli in 8th.
08:05Zaragoza, the first start in the race there in ninth.
08:13Anderson.
08:14He's going to put together another good night here.
08:17He's keeping himself in championship point contention as we get ready to head to Australia.
08:24Well, and these two riders on screen right now with Anderson and Craig are two of the riders that people really hadn't paid to be the championship contenders,
08:34like the favorites to win this SX-1 World Championship.
08:41Kristen, what can you tell us?
08:43Watching Ken Roxxon and Eli Tomac in these final laps, there's so much I'm noticing, guys.
08:49We are watching two Titans of this sport battle it out.
08:53And I'm noticing a lot about their riding styles.
08:56Ken Roxxon just so loose, so flowy.
08:58And then you look at Eli Tomac, structured, just pure perfection and emotion.
09:03What are you guys noticing about these two Titans in this race?
09:07Tomac, the 33-year-old out of Colorado, out front and leading here in race number three as we continue to watch Anderson and Craig fighting over fourth.
09:18Yeah, Craig's been right there.
09:19Just, I was going to say he's been peppering Anderson with, but I think it's the other way around, right?
09:27Anderson, that roost has just been right in Craig's face pretty much the entire race.
09:34Some of these sections like this, this turns a little bit one line.
09:37Everybody's in the same spot.
09:39You can see our overall standings as they run.
09:41Tomac would win the overall by four over Roxxon if they finish one and two like they're running right now.
09:47And Kenny has lost a little bit more ground to Eli.
09:50The gap now almost four seconds between Tomac on the Red Bull KTM and Roxxon on the Progressive Backpipes Motorsports Group Suzuki.
10:00I'm impressed with Kenny's night.
10:02I mean, it's not over.
10:04But race two, getting the win the way he did was great.
10:07But race one and race three, the starts weren't there.
10:10And he made moves, had to make passes, made them quick, and still showed those flashes that we all know he has.
10:16I mean, this has been a great night for him and his fur.
10:19Eli Tomac, so much interest in what this may look like.
10:23Jeff, Honda, Kowie, Yamaha.
10:25And now to a KTM steel frame.
10:27Like, what would it look like?
10:29And I'm impressed.
10:30He's still riding with power.
10:32See the little head tilt right there.
10:33That's when you know he's happy.
10:34And I think he's checked the box.
10:37Tomac, KTM, this thing's going to work.
10:40Yeah, it's a good, great combination.
10:43I mean, think about that, four different manufacturers, if he could bring this one home and win him tonight,
10:49that would be four wins in the premier class on four different manufacturers.
10:55Did you really have any doubt that it wouldn't?
10:59I mean, I had a few fans asking me, what do you think?
11:01What do you think?
11:02It's Eli Tomac.
11:03I did just before when we were making our picks.
11:06I struggled with it because Ken Roxen was looking so sharp.
11:12I don't mean that.
11:13I mean, did you believe that Tomac would match up perfectly with the KTM?
11:17I was trying to rub it into Daniel that I picked Tomac for the win.
11:21Here we go.
11:22Coming to one to go.
11:25You know, Ralph, Tomac is in his 30s now.
11:28A couple years ago, thought he may retire.
11:30He questioned where the motivation is, and then he signs up for another year,
11:34goes to a new manufacturer, a new energy drink, and you're thinking, where is the motivation?
11:38What are we going to get out of him?
11:40And from the first lap yesterday, it was all in, and that's because he's all in.
11:45So to answer your question, not when he's all in.
11:49Tomac is a bad man and a legend, and he's going to be great moving forward.
11:52Here's Ken Roxen still hanging on in second, another great legend.
11:57He's far from done as well.
11:58This battle is going to continue on to the end of 25 and all throughout 2026 between these two.
12:06As Eli Tomac makes his way around, it will be his fifth overall win and his 16th race victory
12:15in his World Supercross career.
12:17Here he comes, Eli Tomac wins the overall as he wins race number three here at the Canadian GP
12:24and lights the candles in Vancouver.
12:29Roxen in second, waiting Justin Cooper.
12:33Here he comes to take third.
12:36He'll do so on the Yamaha, and the crowd giving their approval here in BC Place.
12:41Anderson will be third, third on the night.
12:48Christian Craig will get fifth in the race.
12:50Savace comes across in sixth.
12:53Henry Miller with a great run in seventh.
13:02And Eli Tomac with a whole bunch of fans here in Vancouver, Jeff.
13:06Oh, yeah.
13:07The guys at KTM are definitely going to be happy with their choice there.
13:10And, you know, I imagine they probably learned quite a bit here tonight also about Eli and the bike and what he wants.
13:18And they probably made changes each time that he was off the bike.
13:22And it certainly added up to a fantastic main event win here to round out tonight.
13:28Two-time AMA, 450 Supercross champion, reigning SX-1 World Supercross champion.
13:38Here is the results from race number three.
13:41And Eli Tomac, again, on the top of the board, he'll take 25 points for the win here in race number three.
13:49Roxen will take 22.
13:50Cooper, 20.
13:51Ian Anderson gets 18 for fourth.
14:02Looking at Jorge Zaragoza on the Stark in ninth.
14:07Gregory Aranda on his Yamaha will finish in tenth.
14:12We'll give you the full results here.
14:19The event standings coming up next.
14:28There's a look at it.
14:29Tomac will win the overall by four over Roxen.
14:32Five back is Anderson in third.
14:38Craig, Savace, Cooper, Miller, Aranda, Politelli, and Zaragoza ran out the top ten in the GP standings.
14:46Kristen, it was another great main event here tonight in Vancouver.
14:51Eli, what does a night like this do for your confidence?
14:55After the setbacks, the injuries, to now find a comeback and a win on a brand new brand on your debut with the Red Bull KTM.
15:03I'll tell you what, it's an exciting time for us.
15:05So, and what a great crowd here.
15:08Heck yeah, let's go.
15:11Yeah, this is a perfect start for us, for myself and Red Bull KTM.
15:15So, had some good battling out there tonight.
15:19It was just an absolute treacherous track.
15:20And, but, but, but also there was, it was technical enough to make up time and, and just really expose yourself as, are just like, just as certain elements.
15:31I mean, the first moto was pretty easy, but then by this last one, it was very tough out there.
15:35So, great weekend for us.
15:37Had a great time in Vancouver.
15:39So, thank you to all the fans.
15:41Eli, well done.
15:42A statement win for Eli Tomac in his debut on the Red Bull KTM.
15:50Ken, a phenomenal race out there.
15:54During the race, I actually noticed how comfortable you were looking on the track.
15:57Your flow was, I mean, just perfect.
16:00And it's so different than how Eli races as well.
16:02You've always identified yourself as being so unique on the bike.
16:06Ken, what went right for you out there tonight?
16:08And what were you needing more of?
16:11My speed and fitness is good.
16:13I, I was being an idiot.
16:14I kept jumping the whoops and, because I was actually gaining on Eli.
16:17And then I literally had two or three laps in a row where I completely messed up the whoops.
16:22And I should have just stuck to skimming.
16:24I've been really good at skimming.
16:25And, I mean, I know for next time, but it was a good battle.
16:28I was able to reel in a little bit towards the end, but we just had that gap.
16:31And, you know, with this track, like, man, I'm just glad we get out of here safe.
16:36So, it was good racing.
16:37Eli was riding really well, and I feel like so was I.
16:40So, I'm honestly, compared to how I felt in practice, I was really happy with how I raced.
16:44So, I'm, I'm, I'm glad with a second.
16:46Well done, Ken Rockson.
16:49Congratulations on finishing second.
16:58And Jason Anderson with only his second start on the PMG Suzuki.
17:05Jason, how do you measure your success tonight outside of just a podium?
17:08Yeah, I mean, the beginning of the day, I was pretty far off pace.
17:12So, to be able to get some of those starts right up there, that first moto was good for me.
17:17Still getting the hang of the motorcycle.
17:19But, I just really want to thank Suzuki, the whole Pipes family, everyone for giving me this opportunity.
17:24I love what I do, and I just want to keep the ball rolling, and being up here on the podium, it's just a thank you to them.
17:32So, to everyone that supports me, you know, Alpine Star, Scott, Arrow Helmets, Monster, my family, you know, my wife, daughter, parents, everyone.
17:43We're having a good time.
17:44So, let's see if we can keep the ball rolling.
17:47And, thanks to the Pipes family for letting me be me, and let's keep having a good time.
17:53Jason Anderson, congratulations.
17:55And, I'm sure Dustin Pipes at home is celebrating two of his riders on the podium tonight in the SX1 class.
18:01Daniel?
18:02What a night for Anderson, for Roxen, and, of course, for Eli Tomac.
18:08Jeff, that was fun.
18:10A lot of fun.
18:11Good battle.
18:11A lot of speed.
18:12I love the push out of every rider.
18:14We saw great things out of every rider, little mistakes out of every rider, but that's what you show up for.
18:18That's what you want to watch.
18:19Yeah, I just really like the intensity tonight of the racing.
18:24After, excuse me, round one where Roxen just sort of made it look easy, tonight he was challenged by a number of different riders,
18:35and I really felt that the intensity all throughout the top five, whether it was Cooper, Anderson, Craig,
18:41they just really raised the level because Eli Tomac was here, and, of course, Tomac goes out and wins all but one race here tonight
18:49and really proved that this new combination with the Red Bull KTM is something that we're going to have to keep an eye on in the future.
18:56It was big when it mattered in that last race.
18:59We questioned, can they make the changes in between race two and three?
19:02How would the communication be?
19:04Well, they sure got it done on the start, and then in the race, he kept blitz and kept hammering.
19:08Bike looked a lot better, so, Jeff, I think you're right.
19:11This is the start of something pretty awesome with Eli Tomac and KTM.
19:15Bitter rivals forever, and now they're together, and they're successful.
19:19They're 1-0.
19:20Yeah, and Ian Harrison and all the crew there have to be happy with making that decision,
19:26as is, you know, we've got Jason Anderson on the pipes, Motorsports Suzuki, third here tonight,
19:33his second ride with this team.
19:36They have to be really happy with that.
19:37I mean, Suzuki's got their top two riders, two steps on the podium, not the top this week,
19:43but they have to be really happy with their effort and what the team is achieving.
19:48Second overall, Ken Roxton.
19:49I liked his interview after the race.
19:51He's happy with the speed and the fitness, but he actually, with some self-deprecation,
19:55called himself out for making some mistakes with his line choice,
19:59and that would go towards the race craft part of things.
20:01That's a man who understands where the weakness is, and riders like that learn fast and get better,
20:06and he's still getting better in his 30s.
20:09Yeah, and man, do the fans love him here in Vancouver.
20:12He is so popular here.
20:14Anderson, third.
20:16Roxton, second.
20:17The fans, very happy to see Eli Tomek on his KTM, very happy to see him ride like that.
20:25Your big winner, Eli Tomek.
20:28Eli Tomek!
20:37Presents you the red flag board for the 6-1 class, Patrick Regens and Le'Evon Chief Stewart.
