00:00Hello and welcome to this South Australian Jane's Weather update for Monday.

00:04I want to draw your attention to our south at this speckled cloud that is there.

00:08Yes, it is well into November, but we've got a cold outbreak that is on the way.

00:13We're fairly clear today, but we've got this across the southeast, a band of rain just in through here,

00:18and all of this is spreading northwards.

00:20There's also this over in the west that we'll be starting to keep an eye on in the days ahead.

00:25OK, so here we have Monday.

00:26I want to point out the blues and the purples.

00:28Yes, that snow down to 600 metres that is going to move across Tasmania,

00:32but we're definitely going to be feeling the edge of that as it comes through.

00:36So this comes across the southeast later on today.

00:39So there's Monday into Tuesday.

00:41There it goes by the end of Tuesday.

00:43The high is just west of Adelaide in through there.

00:45I'm going to start and see this activity over in the northwest.

00:48So I've got a quick punch of cold air and the showers that come with it are affecting the southeastern parts.

00:53Now, with that high pressure coming in by later on Tuesday, clearing skies, calm winds, cold air.

01:00Yes, that is a significant frost, a very late season frost as we go into Wednesday morning.

01:05So if you're in the southeast, do be watching out for that in the early hours of Wednesday.

01:10So here's Wednesday.

01:11High pressure now out to our east by the end of it.

01:13And this is starting to come through.

01:15We'll have cloud building from that one later.

01:17Showers, thunderstorms, tending to areas of widespread rain.

01:20So this is our next feature coming through on Wednesday and into Thursday.

01:24So we'll really feel that across the majority of South Australia during the day on Thursday.

01:29So there's our next big weather system coming in.

01:32Have you live at Friday, clearing through.

01:33There's the low pressure by the end of it.

01:35So it's out ahead, wrapping around.

01:37And that'll be in a southerly airflow by the time we get to Friday there.

01:41So the rain to finish off with that one.

01:43So Thursday into Friday is what we're looking at there.

01:45Lots of activity up to our north.

01:47And that continues on Saturday.

01:49We've just got the dregs, the very light remains of that.

01:53Into Sunday, the next system crosses the southeast.

01:55We're going to miss the majority of that one.

01:57We'll get a little bit of that in the corner there.

01:59Otherwise, into Monday, there's the next one.

02:01While all of this still continues to our north.

02:03Now, what might that add up to?

02:05In that northwest corner there, some really good falls.

02:08But it does peter out as it comes in.

02:10Then we get the flavour from the south as well.

02:12So system after system after system with that rain that comes through on Thursday into Friday.

02:17So it could add up to 15 to 25 for a couple of lucky spots.

02:21All right.

02:22Let's have a look at Adelaide.

02:23What to expect.

02:2417 and 16.

02:25There's nothing overly warm.

02:28There's no...

02:28The heat that is to the north is staying well to the north.

02:31It's over in the west at the minute.

02:32But we're not seeing that coming through here.

02:34So we're a cool start to the week.

02:36Wet weather develops later in the evening and clears out early on Tuesday.

02:39So increasing sunshine as you go through Tuesday, Wednesday.

02:42There is our cold start to the day on Wednesday.

02:45And then things thaw out as the day goes on.

02:48Wednesday is the nicest one.

02:4921 on Thursday.

02:50Then that rain comes in during the afternoon.

02:53More of a tropical flavour.

02:54It comes down from the northwest.

02:56So we'll see the cloud with that.

02:57And the wet weather, the rain, is most likely during the afternoon.

03:00That does continue into Friday as well.

03:02And then increasing sunshine during the day on Saturday.

03:05Back up on over 20.

03:06And a little bit of wet weather comes through Sunday into Monday.
