00:00Let's turn our attention to the other matchup in North Carolina.
00:03It was a battle of Dabo and Bill Belichick.
00:06Clemson was a 14-and-a-half-point road favorite against North Carolina.
00:10This game was over, Coach, before it started.
00:13Second quarter, Clemson had a 28-3.
00:17First half lead, they never looked back.
00:20They ended 38-10.
00:22Cade Klovnik and that offense were hitting on all cylinders.
00:25They were able to run the football.
00:27And defensively, they were able to shut down a one-dimensional offense for North Carolina.
00:33Max Johnson did get the start.
00:35Bill Belichick now, I think, has a lot of questions to answer at this point.
00:40You know, when you just think about where the program was, Matt Brown, you can make the argument
00:45it's slightly regressing now under Bill Belichick.
00:50Yeah, I mean, I'm trying to think, did he not understand exactly where they were
00:54or the difference between college and pro?
00:56Or were there mistakes made?
00:58Because he, I mean, who knows more about winning football and turning programs around
01:02and winning championships than Nick Saban and Bill Belichick?
01:06And I don't know, but yet he seems like he was totally unprepared, unready, not ready
01:11for what he faced at North Carolina.
01:13They haven't been bad.
01:14They've been real bad.
01:15And it was awful.
01:17Half the fans left before halftime against Clemson.
01:20So right now, it's just, will they get worse or will they get a little better?
01:25They haven't shown any getting better against teams in the conference.
01:30Clemson, on the other hand, I mean, this is kind of how it goes.
01:33Club Nick had one of those unbelievable four-touchdown nights, everything looking good.
01:39But you know what bothers me?
01:40This is Clemson's problem.
01:42They're up 28-3.
01:44They still don't rush for 100 yards.
01:46I mean, if I was up that high, I would run just for the heck of it so I can prove that
01:50I can run.
01:51They don't feel like they need to get rushing yards even when they can.
01:55And that's a philosophy that I don't understand.
01:59I still believe that to play in a tougher game, you've got to run the football.
02:03And they don't seem concerned if they don't have a good running day because they were really
02:07pleased with the way they played.
02:09They dominated the game.
02:10It was over.
02:10I just know in that situation, and I've been having people complain about my running game,
02:16I was out of tact on some rushing yards.
02:18That's what you expected out of Clemson at the start of the year against games against
02:23LSU and Syracuse, both games that they had lost.
02:27Is this potentially a stepping stone?
02:29If Clemson goes on a little bit of a heater or on a little bit of a roll, can they potentially
02:34get back into a conference championship mix and maybe a dark horse for a college football
02:40playoff?
02:41Well, they've got three losses.
02:44I don't see the ACC getting in with three losses.
02:46I think right now, I was more in tune with, let's get this thing heading back in the right
02:51direction, get a good winning record.
02:53Bowl game, I didn't see them getting back in the playoffs.
02:56Now, that's why I do bring up, hey, get your running game going because you play a tougher
03:01game.
03:01You play against some tougher teams.
03:03You're going to look bad again without being able to run the football.
03:06So I would say whether they do or not, I'm not believing that they can.
03:09I think right now, they just need to keep on course, keep getting themselves up.
03:13If they can win the rest of their football games, that takes them pretty dang close.
03:18But if they do expect getting to playoffs, some of that running game better pick up when
03:22it gets there because they won't win the playoffs if they don't run the football.
