00:00There's a new guy in town, a new old guy, right?
00:04Taking over for your buddy, Mack Brown.
00:06I'm talking about Bill Belichick.
00:08He takes over the North Carolina Tar Heels.
00:11They do have a 7.5 win total this year.
00:13What are the expectations in Chapel Hill
00:16with possibly the best modern-day head coach in the NFL,
00:20not college football, taking over for North Carolina
00:24and that team right now?
00:25Well, you know, if he's done anything,
00:28he's already changed the expectations.
00:30The fans are excited.
00:31Tickets are selling better than they've ever been.
00:34Everybody's talking about the future.
00:36He brought in a new professional angle to recruiting.
00:39He brings an incredible resume, a belief by that,
00:42that they believe their program is going to go with him
00:45to another level.
00:47And financially, in recruiting,
00:49in the overall operations of their program,
00:51they think this is the next move
00:52if they're going to get to the top of college football
00:55because they haven't been.
00:56And, you know, North Carolina, a little bit like Indiana,
00:58it was always that basketball school.
01:01But, again, they are right now counting on him.
01:03And, again, he is one of the best.
01:05My thing is not can he do it, does he really want to.
01:08I wondered when he took the job, why?
01:11Why are you going down to college at your age?
01:13Do you still have that fire?
01:15Do you still have that motivation?
01:16He has the knowledge.
01:17He can get it done.
01:18But I'm thinking, now he hired a couple of his sons,
01:20so you've got to say, okay, family going down.
01:22If he is still motivated to go out there and just win
01:26because he loves to win and loves to build,
01:29I see no reason why he can't take North Carolina
01:31to the top of that conference.
01:33Oh, absolutely.
01:34And when you look at the schedule,
01:36especially at a conference,
01:37their week one matchup is against Sonny Dykes and TCU.
01:41We'll see how that game plays out.
01:43But there's three winnable games for the North Carolina Tar Heels
01:47to at least start this season three and one.
01:49You're talking about a defense in North Carolina
01:51that allowed well over 28 points per game,
01:55not good against the run.
01:57From a discipline perspective,
01:59I believe Bill Belichick will be an added factor
02:01for that team to at least complete
02:03for eight or nine wins in the conference.
