00:00Michelle with tonight's weather forecast.
00:02Thanks, Leisha. Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago.
00:05It's that time again. It's time for your weather.
00:08We're starting with conditions in Portisbane.
00:10TV6's Weather Center says downtown is mostly clear with temperatures at 31 degrees Celsius.
00:16We have winds coming west-southwest at 3 knots and humidity is at 78%.
00:21Looking at what's happening tonight, tonight will be generally settled
00:26apart from the chance of the odd isolated showers with minimum temperatures
00:31coming in at 24 degrees Celsius in Trinidad and 26 over in Tobago.
00:36Now, let's see what we're getting tomorrow.
00:38Expect a warm and mostly dry day.
00:41However, conditions will be interrupted by some isolated showers by late afternoon.
00:47Meanwhile, over in Tobago, the day will start similarly, mostly clear,
00:51but be on the lookout for scattered showers developing during the late morning
00:56and into the early afternoon.
00:58All in all, it will be a warm, humid day across the islands
01:02with a greater chance for rainfall in Tobago later in the day.
01:06We have maximum temperatures at 33 degrees in Trinidad and 31 in Tobago.
01:11And on Friday, we're getting mostly fair skies
01:14except for some isolated showers developing from early morning,
01:18from early afternoon rather, to evening.

01:33I have the details right here.
01:35Tomorrow's seas are moderate with waves 1 meter to 1.5 meters in open waters
01:39and below 1 meter, occasionally choppy, in sheltered areas.

01:56It's now time for your Titans.
01:57In international news now, Hurricane Imelda is churning up dangerous surf,
02:14rip currents, coastal flooding and beach erosion along the United States' east coast
02:20as it races towards Bermuda.
02:22Bermuda is under hurricane warning with the core of Imelda's wind and rain expected to make a direct hit
02:29or slide just south of the island later tonight.
02:33This after Hurricane Umberto brushed by the archipelago on Tuesday.
02:38The once mighty Umberto has since deteriorated, losing its tropical status this morning
02:45as it combined with a front swinging over the ocean.
02:48According to the National Hurricane Center, Imelda was a Category 2 hurricane this morning
02:54with sustained winds of 100 miles per hour and was centered 340 miles west-southwest of Bermuda.
03:02The worst impacts are expected later tonight.
03:05On Tuesday, Imelda and Umberto were unusually close, around 450 miles apart,
03:12one of the 10 closest pairs of named Atlantic storms since the use of satellites began in 1966.
03:21That's all for weather tonight.
03:23Don't go anywhere.
03:24There's more news when we come back.
