00:00Thank you, Disha. Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago. I'm Rochelle Edwards with the details on your weather.
00:06We're starting off with what happened internationally today.
00:10A massive 8.8 magnitude earthquake off Russia's far eastern coast sent tsunami waves into Japan, Hawaii and the U.S. west coast this morning.
00:20The earthquake, which hit near Russia's Kamchatko Peninsula, is believed to be one of the most powerful ever recorded.
00:27Several people are said to have been injured, but there were no immediate reports of fatalities.
00:33More than 2 million people across the Pacific were ordered to evacuate, but most tsunami warnings have since been downgraded.
00:41Alerts were also issued in China, the Philippines, Indonesia, New Zealand and even as far as Peru, Chile and Mexico.
00:49Now this is very unfortunate news. Let's keep those affected in our prayers.
00:53Moving on to conditions back at home, in Portisbane presently, TV6's weather center says,
