00:00The Diwali Nagar 2026 has officially opened with a message about the importance of discerning truth in an increasingly technology
00:08-driven world.
00:09Under the theme Viveka, Discerning Truth in an Age of AI, this year's Nagar explores opportunities artificial intelligence presents,
00:18while highlighting the need for wisdom and responsible use of the technology.
00:22President of the National Council of Indian Culture says AI is rapidly transforming everyday life.
00:29Artificial intelligence is changing the way we work, learn, communicate, conduct business, and understand the world around us.
00:38A question that once required hours of research can now be answered in the snap of a finger.
00:45Images can be created without a camera, speeches can be written, languages translated, and information analyzed with extraordinary speed.
00:56We are living in an age in which machines can do things that, until recently, seems almost unimaginable.
01:06But Manguru says technological intelligence must not be confused with human wisdom, stressing that people must exercise sound judgment when
01:14using AI.
01:15We must understand the distinction between intelligence and wisdom.
01:20Intelligence may tell us how to achieve something.
01:25Viveka asks whether it is worth achieving, whether it is right, and what consequences may follow.
01:32A machine may reproduce information.
01:35Viveka requires us to examine its accuracy.
01:37He says while children should be taught how to use artificial intelligence, equal importance must be placed on developing their
01:45ability to think critically and independently.
01:48They must learn to ask questions, verify information, respect the dignity of others, and understand the consequences of their actions.
01:57They must know that a computer can help them complete an assignment, but it cannot take the place of their
02:02own intellectual development.
02:04And in explaining the deeper meaning of this year's theme, Manguru says technological advancement alone does not guarantee better judgment
02:13or stronger human connections.
02:16Just as having light around us does not necessarily mean we can see clearly, we can have the brightest screens
02:23and still make the darkest decisions.
02:26We can possess extraordinary technology and still lack compassion.
02:32We can know how to connect millions of people digitally and yet fail to connect with the person sitting beside
02:39us.
02:40That is why the light we need must also be an inner light, the light of Viveka.
02:46And as the Diwali Nagar opens its doors for another year, its message is clear.
02:52In an age where technology can provide answers in seconds, the ability to distinguish truth from misinformation and knowledge from
03:00wisdom remains essential.
03:02Charlotte Histo, TV6 News.
03:05Um, there is a question о том, about business that we need to share.
03:06And thanks promoting American mindfulness and helixir status quo, for whom we need to conduct.
03:07And that is why the most principal ты how do we need to communicate with us?
03:08And from the schauen side is clear that there's a lot of a change of perception of the human었어요.
03:08Thank you very much.
