00:00Thank you, Disha. Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago. It's now time for your weather.
00:05So we had almost a repeat of Tuesday's conditions with flooding and heavy showers in some areas,
00:12such as Saddle Road, Maraval, Dago Martin Main Road and Mount Cocoa Road, Pitted Valley, just to name a few.
00:19Now, this was due to an isolated thunderstorm that moved onshore across southeastern Trinidad
00:24and then it drifted northwest with locally heavy rainfall.
00:30While elsewhere, isolated showers interrupted variably cloudy skies with exceptionally good air quality noted nationwide.
00:38Moving on to conditions in Port of Spring presently, TV6's Weather Center says downtown is mostly clear with temperatures at 31 degrees Celsius.
00:47We have winds coming southwest at 3 knots.
00:50Humidity is at 76%.
00:52Looking at tonight, tonight you can't expect fair to party cloudy conditions
00:57with a few showers and the medium chance of isolated thunderstorm activity, particularly after midnight.
01:04Minimum temperatures are 24 degrees Celsius in Trinidad and 26 in Tobago.
01:09So tomorrow conditions from midnight will gradually improve from mid-morning despite lingering showers.
01:16Note that gusty winds and straight-off flash flooding are likely in the vicinity of heavy downpours.
01:22So if you're heading out early, remember to walk with your umbrellas.
01:26Hopefully, we have some clear skies for the football game at 7.
01:30So our maximum temperatures are coming in at 32 degrees Celsius in both Trinidad and Tobago.
01:35And for the weekend, let's see if we can lime outdoors or if we're just going to have to settle for a good movie inside.
01:43On Saturday, conditions are looking variably cloudy with occasional showers and the medium to high chance of a few heavy showers or thunderstorms,
01:52favouring but not limited to Tobago and eastern Trinidad.
01:56Sunday will be the same but instead with a low to medium chance of isolated thunderstorm activity.
02:01Maximum temperatures are 29 degrees in Trinidad and Tobago on Saturday and 30 degrees in both islands on Sunday.
02:10Tomorrow is Friday, so I know there are beach plans.
02:14Seas are slight to moderate with waves, 1 meter to 1.5 meters in open waters and calm in sheltered areas.
02:21Now, let's take a look at our sun time.
02:23Sunrise is at 5.56 in Trinidad and it was set at 6.12.
02:27Over in Tobago, sunrises at 5.52 and it was set at 6.10.
02:33It's now time for your Thai times.
02:49That's all for weather. Don't go anywhere. There's more news when we come back.
