00:02Thank you, Disha. Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago.
00:06Here's what's happening in your weather.
00:08So tonight, expect mostly clear conditions with a light breeze
00:12that will be interrupted by the occasional brisk shower
00:15with minimum temperatures of 23 degrees in both islands.
00:19And tomorrow conditions will be much like today
00:22that is predominantly sunny, hazy and breezy.
00:26There is a medium chance of a few showers during the early morning
00:29and afternoon in a few areas.
00:32So walk with those umbrellas.
00:33By now, that should be a staple in your purse or vehicles
00:37because it will protect you from both the sun and the rain.
00:41So just remember that.
00:42Maximum temperatures are 31 degrees in both islands.
00:45But what the umbrellas would not protect you from is the Saharan dust.
00:50Tomorrow, moderate concentration is expected.
00:53And of course, sensitive persons are advised
00:56to take all the necessary precautions.
00:58Moving on now to our two-day forecast
01:01where conditions will be sunny, hazy and breezy
01:03with one or two brisk showers near hilly areas.
01:07For both Friday and Saturday,
01:09we have maximum temperatures of 32 degrees in Trinidad
01:12and 31 in Tobago.

01:17Sunrise is at 610 and 608 in Tobago
01:20and sunset at 616 in Trinidad and 613 in Tobago.
01:25And before you think about heading to the beach,
01:28remember that the hazardous season is still in effect.
01:30Seas will be moderate but occasionally rough
01:33and with waves 2 meters to 2.5 meters in open waters
01:37and below 1 meter in shelter areas.

01:56In some very interesting international news,
01:59a rare fireball streaked across the skies of the eastern United States on Tuesday morning,
02:04dazzling observers and even triggering a sonic boom in some areas.
02:09The phenomenon was most likely an unusual bright meteor,
02:14a fragment of space frog burning up as it entered Earth's atmosphere.
02:19Fireballs are defined by the intense brightness shining as bright as or brighter than Venus.
02:26Sky watchers across Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Ohio
02:30reported seeing the fireball around 9 a.m.
02:34In the Cleveland area, residents also heard a loud boom,
02:37believed to have occurred when the fast-moving meteor broke the sound barrier.
02:42Sightings like this are especially rare during daylight hours.
02:46A similar event was reported in June 2025.
