00:00Previously on Project Runway All-Stars.
00:03This is your captain speaking.
00:05We are happy to have season winners from all over the world
00:08for our Unconventional Materials Challenge.
00:11Oh, no. Start over.
00:13Jasper is training his model like a dog.
00:15Knees together. Do it again.
00:17Oh, poor girl.
00:18Oh, no. I'm out.
00:20Huh?
00:21I'm not made for this.
00:22Looks a lot like seatbelts to me.
00:24Seth is giving you a car wash.
00:26It's looking terrible.
00:30This is a great example of a classic silhouette
00:33done exceptionally well.
00:35I don't like this dress.
00:36Okay.
00:37I adore this dress.
00:38Oh, okay.
00:39The winning designer is...
00:41Arena.
00:42Oh, thank you so much.
00:43There's something about the pleating on the skirt
00:46that makes me sad.
00:48I feel like I'm looking at a reluctant dominatrix.
00:51And the eliminated designer is...
00:54Seth Aaron.
00:57There's that wit.
00:59This is Project Runway All-Stars.
01:11Where she is?
01:13Seth Aaron is a two-time winner.
01:16So, Seth Aaron's elimination really proves to all of us
01:21that this is the best, the creme de la creme of every Project Runway
01:26around the world.
01:27So, you can't slack.
01:30What?
01:31Oh, watch out.
01:34Oh, my goodness.
01:35We're doing lingerie.
01:38Wow.
01:39I'm kind of a never nude.
01:41So...
01:42I'm really, like, taken aback when I see these beautiful women
01:46walking down the runway in lingerie.
01:48I'm not a lingerie.
01:49I'm not a girly girl designer.
01:58Hi.
01:59Hi.
02:00Hi.
02:01Hi.
02:02I'm not in lingerie.
02:04Designers, these stunning women are modeling the lingerie collection from adorme.com.
02:16One of the fastest growing fashion startups in the country.
02:20To help reveal this week's challenge, please welcome adorme's head designer, Helen Mears.
02:25Hi, designers.
02:26Hi.
02:27At Adorme, our goal is to create lingerie that makes women feel sexy without sacrificing comfort.
02:40We understand that every woman has a unique body type, and we celebrate this by designing styles to fit all women.
02:47Underwear as outerwear is a real fashion trend.
02:52One of the most popular is the corset.
02:56Historically, it was used as support under a garment to create a fashion silhouette.
03:01Nowadays, the corset has come out from underclothes to be a fashion statement itself.
03:07Your challenge is to celebrate a woman's figure by incorporating a corset into a high fashion look.
03:19Got it?
03:21Some people are twitching.
03:22We have twitching designers.
03:24Uh, I've never used a corset before, so what am I going to do?
03:30I mean, I'm frightened.
03:31I've worked with corsets quite a few times, and I always love the challenge of getting the fit right.
03:37You will each be given a standard corset.
03:40You can redesign it however you want.
03:42Oh.
03:43That's helpful.
03:44But its silhouette must be fully visible in your finished garment.
03:47Okay.
03:48You've got 30 minutes to sketch with a budget of $200 each.
03:52Woo!
03:53Yes!
03:55Adorme will be selling your limited edition design inspired by the winning look in a range of sizes from petite to plus on Adorme.com.
04:05And, Helen has a very special prize for you.
04:08Adorme.com is giving the winning designer $10,000.
04:13Oh!
04:14Yes!
04:15Yes!
04:16Okay.
04:17No time to lose.
04:18I will see you back on the runway tomorrow.
04:21Good luck.
04:23Have fun.
04:26Let's the magic begin.
04:30I want to do something different with the corset.
04:40So I'm sketching a jacket.
04:43I want to create the illusion of an hourglass.
04:46And I'm going to do a lace jumpsuit underneath.
04:51Dima, what you doing?
04:53A corset.
04:55I want to give some freedom to the clothing and some comfort.
04:58So I'm making separates.
05:00I'm making pants.
05:01Then I want to make a top and then put the corset on top of the top.
05:05But make the corset transparent.
05:11What happened to my drawing skills?
05:14Did you have any?
05:16What I'm going to do is to have a really big flowy pants and there will be a see-through
05:25top.
05:26On top of that, I will put a completely draped corset.
05:30I consider this look a really jungle look, a future classic.
05:36All right, guys.
05:37It's time to go to mood.
05:38Let's go.
05:39Okay.
05:40Designers, we've got 30 minutes to shop.
05:4630 minutes.
05:47Oh my gosh, those trims galore.
05:52Hi.
05:53Black stretch satin.
05:56My design is based on a quote, behind every great man is a great woman.
06:02I am designing a trouser and a bustier, but it will look like a dress.
06:09With a double slit.
06:11When my styling is going to be very dramatic.
06:14Jesus.
06:19I'm going to keep a really clean and modern top of the garment and then down the bottom
06:24is where all the detail is going to be shown.
06:26So I'm creating these wing-like structures around the hips.
06:30It's quite angular and architectural and I think that's really me.
06:35Guys, five minutes left.
06:37Five minutes, make it work.
06:38Half of that, please.
06:39If we pick it up a little bit, I just don't have a lot of time.
06:44I'm thinking to create something more geometrical.
06:50The dress I'm making with three colors.
06:53Coral and a light blue to mix with off-white.
06:57And I think that these colors together will be nice.
07:00Two yards from this, please.
07:02All right, guys.
07:03Time is up.
07:05No more shopping.
07:06No more shopping.
07:07Woo!
07:08Thank you, bro.
07:09Thank you, bro.
07:20Here we go.
07:21All right.
07:22Yeah, of course it's.
07:24Are you going to use the original or just use it as pattern pieces?
07:31Yeah, use it as a base and then build from the base.
07:34It's interesting to look around the room and to see how each of the designers interpreted this challenge.
07:39Everyone is doing their own thing and I guess I need to be confident that I know what I'm doing because I do have experience in corsetry and I think I just need to go with my gut.
07:50What are you going to do to treat the corset?
07:52I'm going to cover it in leather.
07:53Oh, nice.
07:54Yeah.
07:55Oh!
07:57Sorry.
07:58She still has her corset on.
08:09It's good to work next to you because you are so calm.
08:11I'm always so nervous.
08:13I'm like frantic but on the inside.
08:16Hi, Dima.
08:17Hi, Michelle.
08:18Are you making a pant?
08:19A pant?
08:20Very wide ones.
08:21So am I.
08:24So make them slim.
08:26I don't want to make slim.
08:27I'm so super excited about winning last week.
08:33Arena.
08:34Thank you so much.
08:36But at the same time, I think it's important to really try something different.
08:41I'm starting with the jacket because the jacket is the focal point of the look.
08:46I'd love to do Elise cat suit underneath but, you know, that's sort of a secondary thing.
08:51If I can get to it, that'd be a bonus.
08:54It's pretty sexy how you cut that out.
08:58Yeah, I hope on her it is.
09:00Michelle is sitting next to me.
09:03You know, we're just beginning.
09:06Just starting to ease our way into this and all of a sudden.
09:09Ah, really bleeding.
09:14Really bleeding.
09:15Really bleeding.
09:17I just felt pain.
09:18Oh my goodness.
09:20I've never done this before.
09:22Oh, poor girl.
09:23Yow.
09:24Yow.
09:25Yow.
09:27Ugh.
09:28Cut the out of my finger.
09:30Ow!
09:31You said it wasn't gonna hurt.
09:35Coming up on Project Runway All Stars.
09:38Green, huh?
09:39I think the three colors really work together.
09:42You do?
09:43This is not a very forgiving fabric.
09:45I don't like just this look at all.
09:46The pants are just like...
09:47What's your name?
09:48My name's Dennis.
09:49Dennis, let's not amputate, please.
09:50I'm not gonna amputate.
09:51It's just a little cut.
09:52Little?
09:53Look at all that blood.
09:54It's very, very little.
09:55It feels like a lot.
09:57Michelle's on a deathbed.
09:58I'm in so much pain.
09:59It's throbbing.
10:00Are you okay?
10:01Yeah, look.
10:02Oh, no.
10:03Oh, my God.
10:04It hurts.
10:05Oh, there's blood on this.
10:06I've never cut myself with one of these before, and I use it all the time.
10:21That sucks.
10:22Oh, my finger hurts.
10:32Hi, designers.
10:41Hi.
10:42Hi.
10:43There's a long history of corsets in high fashion.
10:45Remember Madonna in the 80s, and Gaultier, and Madonna's popularization of that underwear
10:51as outerwear look.
10:52In recent years, we've had Alexander McQueen, Andrew Mulemeister, all of whom have really popularized
10:59corsets on the runway.
11:00So there's really no excuse for your looks today not to be high fashion.
11:05Let's get started.
11:06Hi, Jasper.
11:07Hi, Anne.
11:08How are you feeling about corsets?
11:09I feel all right.
11:11There's corsetry in here, and then I'm adding tailored trousers.
11:15Oh, this is how the pants are going to be.
11:17Yes.
11:18This is not a very forgiving fabric.
11:20Stretch satin.
11:21I don't like Jasper's look at all.
11:23The pants are just like...
11:25Careful.
11:26I know.
11:27Careful with that.
11:28I did.
11:29I did.
11:30I did.
11:31I did.
11:32I got it.
11:33I want it to be a little funky, but still elegant.
11:34I don't think this top seems special.
11:36I think everybody thinks Dimitri's so great.
11:39And I'm like, he can do so much better work than what he's doing right now.
11:42His corset is just like sex shop with some fringe on it.
11:46It might actually have like one sleeve or something if I...
11:50Ooh.
11:51Yeah, I don't know.
11:52I like that idea.
11:53But something like that.
11:56Your face says you hate it.
11:57I just don't think of ruffles.
11:59I think it's a very old fashioned, maybe little girl.
12:02I'm a little girl at heart maybe.
12:05I think it looks like a light bulb blowing from inside out.
12:09Do you think that's a good thing?
12:12Last week was a disaster.
12:14That dress is made of airsick bags and it makes me airsick.
12:17I think you've really elevated it this week.
12:20I'm maintaining the actual corset.
12:23So the corset is underneath and then have these kind of wing things happening.
12:29To me it looks a little bridal.
12:31Because of the color and the moniker, it's very subtle.
12:33I love this material and how sort of raw it feels.
12:36I just want you to think about making an impact.
12:39Yeah.
12:40I have got so much to do.
12:42What's going on here?
12:43You've got lots of different garments.
12:44This is the undergarment.
12:45I want to just do like a hosiery type jumpsuit.
12:48And then I want to do this sort of hourglass take on like a jacket.
12:52You know what I love about you is that the challenge is already difficult.
12:55And then you always add three or four more layers to it to make it even more difficult for yourself.
13:00Well, I mean, it's all stars, right?
13:02Yes, it is.
13:03So I'm kind of doing this shirt that has these kind of like wings that bring it in.
13:09It's like a modern take on a corset.
13:11Look, I love this.
13:12I would like to wear this.
13:13Cool.
13:14Despite its bright color, you need something a little more.
13:16Right.
13:17This is a really competitive runway, right?
13:18Right.
13:19Winners go home.
13:20Yeah.
13:21It's very scary.
13:22I mean, just with Seth Aaron I was like.
13:23I know.
13:24Yeah.
13:25I love your fabric.
13:26I think it's a really cool graphic.
13:27Very Anya.
13:28It is.
13:29Fabric.
13:30That's a part of my concern.
13:31I don't know if that's really a good thing.
13:33Are you going to put an actual corset on?
13:35Actually, I'm thinking to create a dress that is a huge corset.
13:40That is fascinating.
13:41What a brilliant idea.
13:43I'm thinking about to create a cape to put over.
13:47I think you've got your work cut out for you already.
13:50And if you have time to do that, fine.
13:53I don't think it needs it.
13:55This is pants.
13:56This is pants.
13:57Oh, right.
13:58Okay.
13:59Green, huh?
14:00I think the three colors really work together.
14:03You do, huh?
14:05Yeah.
14:06I don't understand the color you're using.
14:09The green I don't like.
14:11Like, haven't you been to the forest ever?
14:14Like, this is the best green you can get.
14:17This is not the strongest look I've seen from you so far.
14:20And you've never made it to the runway.
14:21So I really want this to be the time that you do that.
14:24There's no glory in being safe on Project Runway All Stars.
14:27True, true.
14:28I know that.
14:29And there's no glory in being safe in fashion in general.
14:31The only thing that I'm doing right now is really me.
14:34So if that puts me somewhere I don't want to be in,
14:37then that's just it.
14:39This is Jungle, the future classic.
14:42So designers, I know Alyssa spoke to you about using underwear as outerwear.
14:46And I just want to remind you that on the runway tomorrow,
14:49the judges will be expecting to see a corset look.
14:52Now that said, I'm extremely impressed with what you're all doing.
14:55The level of work in this room is extraordinary.
14:58You got this.
15:00Bye.
15:06Did she say it was ugly?
15:08Yeah, she said like, eh.
15:10Django is freaking out.
15:12And I really like what he's doing.
15:14But it's definitely not for everyone.
15:17And it definitely takes you a minute or two to understand what's going on.
15:23Where is that thing?
15:27Hi, models.
15:28Hi, models.
15:29Hi.
15:30Hi, models.
15:31It's very raw still.
15:32But it has a kind of a raw look to it.
15:36My model fitting goes well.
15:38I have some issues, obviously, but the corset fits her beautifully.
15:43I like it and I don't.
15:44I like it and I don't.
15:45Like, what is this tall sleeve?
15:47It's like half of an 80s prom dress you just decided to throw up on it.
15:52And there it is.
15:53I know you can't tell what's going on, but I have it in my head.
16:02Yeah, it looks really good.
16:03Oh, you should definitely do it.
16:07I am so scared.
16:08The back, it's not okay.
16:10I don't have enough fabric to close her body.
16:13I decided to create a new design on the back to insert the fabric that I still have and
16:19to be able to close the dress on my model.
16:23Okay, so you come out.
16:28Always the back first.
16:31Exaggerated.
16:32More, more, more.
16:34More.
16:35Yes, yes.
16:37Jesper is going crazy again.
16:39He checked out at Project Runway All Stars and he checked in at Broadway.
16:46Exaggerated.
16:49Big S.
16:50No, no, no, no, no.
16:52Yes.
16:53It's stupid.
16:54It's a stupid walk.
16:55Sounds good.
16:57See you tomorrow.
16:58Okay.
16:59I was trying to like it, but I couldn't stand it.
17:00I looked at it.
17:01Now I like it.
17:02Great.
17:03I really am not confident in what I've done.
17:17Like I love my design, but I'm just not feeling like I've executed this the way that I want
17:23it to be executed.
17:24I'm not for this.
17:26I see Jasper is gluing his lace on top of his corset.
17:36To me, it's offensive.
17:39For someone that has such a high opinion of himself, it's kind of bull that Jasper is gluing lace to his outfit.
17:49Right guys, it's time.
17:50We gotta go.
17:51It's just, it's a cop out, man.
17:53Cop out.
17:54Coming up on Project Runway All Stars.
17:58Vidal tells me it's not your best work.
18:01Like what?
18:02I don't think it's his best work.
18:03Where's your corset?
18:04It's supposed to be an outerwear.
18:06Is that a little shade I hear?
18:18Morning of the runway.
18:20Crazy.
18:24Today's runway day.
18:25Everything is pretty much done.
18:27Who breathes in this?
18:29If I touch my garment any more, it's gonna completely ruin it.
18:35Whoa.
18:36What?
18:37Where's your corset?
18:39It's underneath.
18:40You're using it as an undergarment.
18:42It's supposed to be an outerwear.
18:45What?
18:47I mean, it's easy to put the fabric on top, but it's not easy to make a corset.
18:51That's why we're doing this challenge.
18:53It was not easy to do this.
18:55I think that Jasper intentionally tries to put people down to make himself feel better.
19:01You just carry on, honey.
19:03You need to finish the garment.
19:05Is that a little shade I hear?
19:09I love that green.
19:10I actually, I love it.
19:11I adore that green.
19:13I'm working in the brother's sewing room and I really have that future classic that I'm looking for.
19:20It is exactly how I envisioned it.
19:22I love the pants.
19:23It's such a good idea.
19:24I've never seen anything like that before.
19:26That was what I was going for.
19:28Videl comes over to me and tells me Dmitry, that's not your best work.
19:35Like what?
19:37I don't think it's his best work.
19:39I don't think it's his best work.
19:41Well, this isn't my best work, so.
19:43Right before the runway.
19:45Who does this?
19:46We all are very fragile when it comes to our work, especially right before the runway.
19:53I did not know we're already being judged.
19:57Hi.
19:58Morning.
20:01The cast is finished and I'm thinking, you know, what else can I do?
20:04So I make a lace mask and lace gloves.
20:07I hope that's in the right place.
20:10Oh, it is.
20:11That's pretty.
20:12It's playful and it really says lingerie to me.
20:17Hi, Dmitry.
20:18Hi, Karina.
20:19I can tell to buy a London makeup studio to create this kind of dramatic dark lips.
20:25Flush rush and daring.
20:28Bellissimo.
20:29I'd like anything maybe metallic-y or in this palette.
20:32We've got a gorgeous glazing eyeliner in blue.
20:35Yeah, that's perfect.
20:36Thank you so much.
20:41Welcome to Umberto Beverly Hills.
20:44Very low, tight, very super kind of almost boyish.
20:47And she's wearing a mask.
20:49Oh, nice.
20:51Probably middle part.
20:52Basically what I try to do every morning.
20:55We'll finish it off with the Umberto Roman oil to give it a little nice texture.
20:59Fabulous.
21:05Let's do these.
21:07I grabbed this very neutral open-toed shoe from the JCPenney accessory wall.
21:13Just because my look is so strong in color, I kind of want the shoe to fade away.
21:18But it's got a great cut to it and a simplicity.
21:21Perfect.
21:22Cool.
21:23I'm frustrated with myself.
21:26It's not the worst thing that I ever saw.
21:29But it's just okay and okay is not enough.
21:32I can cut a little bit more here to do better for you.
21:36So I feel that I need to create something bigger for the runway.
21:41Do you want to check?
21:43Apparently Cynthia's model is headed to church because she got her church hat on.
21:47A lady never runs.
21:50Okay?
21:51So, like that.
21:53Jesper's silhouette is really an old-fashioned designer trying to be all innovative in the wrong ways.
22:04I love it.
22:05I think Dimitri should be worried.
22:08I love him so much, but I honestly think it's the worst look in the room.
22:13Christina, I love that girl.
22:17She pushes herself.
22:19The dress is spot on.
22:20It is corset and it's a dress that I think a lot of women would want to wear.
22:25Guys, it's time to go to the runway.
22:29All right, we're good.
22:30Let's get this.
22:31Do this.
22:32Get a jam.
22:33Horset.
22:38Coming up on Project Runway All Stars.
22:40The shape that it gives her body is so beautiful.
22:43Don't second guess yourself because that's really where you went wrong.
22:46That kills moi, darling.
22:49It kills moi.
22:52The winner of Project Runway All Stars will collaborate with JCPenney on a capsule collection as part of the Project Runway line to be sold at select JCPenney stores and online at JCP.com.
23:03An editorial and photo spread in Marie Claire magazine and a position as guest editor for one year.
23:08The opportunity to create a signature nail color and an inspiring trip for two to London, England from luxury makeup brand Butter London.

23:21And to elevate their business and build their brand, a cash prize of $100,000.
23:36Spa cults.
23:37Hello, designers.
23:39Hello.
23:40We challenged you to change underwear into outerwear by incorporating a corset into a high fashion look.
23:48Let's meet the judges critiquing your work this week.
23:51First, co-founder and designer of Marquesa, Georgina Chapman.
23:56Hello.
23:59Next, one of the most iconic names in American fashion, Isaac Mizrahi.
24:05Hi, girls.
24:08Our first guest is as global as our international Project Runway winners as a model and actress.
24:15She's built a worldwide fan base as a social influencer.
24:19Please welcome Olivia Coppo.
24:26Our next guest began her fashion career with playful but edgy ideas such as the morning after bag and her take on the I Love New York t-shirt.
24:37Her women's apparel label is now a global brand.
24:41Please welcome designer Rebecca Minkoff.
24:48This week's winner receives $10,000 from Adore Me with a limited edition version of the winning design available immediately after tonight's runway on Adore Me.com.
24:58Have a great show everyone.
25:08Ooh.
25:09Oh my.
25:11Those pants are so good.
25:13My girl looks fresh.
25:15She looks like she could go be on holiday.
25:18The whole thing is just light and lovely and I think very happy.
25:20I think it's very striking.
25:32It's very different.
25:34It's just kind of bizarre but in a good way.
25:38It was a risk but I think it's paid off.
25:39I'm really happy with it.
25:50It makes a corset look easy.
25:52She doesn't look like she's being strangled around the waist but she still has this awesome figure.
25:58I would wear it.
25:59I do see some execution flaws in terms of where the waistline is but overall the shape of it is what I wanted and I think it looks really beautiful.
26:25The garment looks high end like it looks hard to make.
26:28The thing is tailored perfectly to her.
26:30I'm really happy with how it all came together.
26:44The silhouette looks nice but I'm not sure if the hat goes well with the dress and I'm hoping that I'm at least safe.
26:58I'm not sure whether the judges are going to like the look.
27:04I haven't done a double bent tailored dresser before and I don't know if they understand it.
27:10I am pleased that I went in a direction far away from my normal aesthetic but I think the pant length is odd.
27:28I think the model looks a bit strange in it so I am a bit worried.
27:40From the start to the finish I didn't make changes and I love it.
27:42It's a beautiful dress and this is what I should be doing on Project Runway All Stars.
27:48I finally did something I like.
27:49She's really working this look and I love the pleating.
28:02I think it looks really crisp.
28:03There's so much boning in the jacket.
28:05You still have the hourglass.
28:07I'm really excited about this look.
28:19I love that you can see the lines of the bustier but it's almost like this organic dress that kind of fell over the bustier.
28:27And I'm extremely happy.
28:38My model, she really nailed it.
28:40That Studio 54-5 with the pants and those plateau heels.
28:45It is exactly how I am this year.
28:57Designers, thank you for a breathtaking runway.
29:03If I call your name, please step forward.
29:06Anya.
29:09Bedell.
29:11Anthony Ryan.
29:14Sean.
29:17Michelle.
29:19The six of you are safe and through to next week.
29:24You can head to the backstage lounge.
29:27Good luck.
29:28Thanks.
29:29Good luck.
29:32The rest of you have the highest and the lowest scores of the week.
29:37One of you is the winner of this week's challenge and one of you will be eliminated tonight.
29:50Christina, we're going to start with you.
29:52Tell us about your corset look.
29:53What I wanted to do is create like a corset aesthetic throughout the entire garment and I used leather and sewed it to this sheer fabric.
30:04I love the idea that you had to create a peplum with the corset and the shape that it gives her body is so beautiful.
30:11For a dress that is so dignified and elegant, you might have considered a different length.
30:18I think it makes it more modern to lengthen it.
30:20Me too.
30:21Like you said.
30:22But the way it's all put together is really kind of special.
30:24Have you lined it in a flesh under the hip?
30:26It's like a light cut of pink.
30:27Yeah, I really love the color of that.
30:29I think your color story to me is what really makes this dress special.
30:34I can't believe that you created that lattice work.
30:36It's really amazing.
30:37Well done.
30:39Jasper.
30:40I call this piece behind every great man is a great woman.
30:44For me, the corset is a symbolism of freedom.
30:48And so I brought it to today's modern time by using a stretch fabric and tailored trousers.
30:56The idea of the graphic nature of white lace on a black bustier, you know, that can be a very ineffective thing.
31:02However, you know, it's got to be so perfect when you do that because the optical illusion it's giving every mistake is so visible.
31:11Overall, the structure and shape doesn't sell me.
31:14You could have at least framed the torso to give her some sort of shape.
31:19For me, this goes wrong in the fabric.
31:22Something about the fit of the pants and the quality of that stretch that just looks rather inexpensive to me.
31:27I think the concept of behind every great man there's a great woman is really outdated.
31:33I think there's just a great woman.
31:36And I think that your design represents the outdatedness of that sentiment.
31:41There's certain things about this pant that make me, like, upset.
31:46I'm confused by the whole thing.
31:49Thank you, Jasper.
31:51Dimitri.
31:52I wanted to create something free, maybe a bit raw, a bit theatrical, but modern at the same time.
31:59So I gave her a huge sleeve and I gave her this palazzo pants. I love it. I think it's crazy.
32:05When it came down the runway, I was like, finally, this is an all-star runway and it feels fresh.
32:10I love the juxtaposition of the really feminine top with the sporty pant, but there's just so much going on that it's almost distracting.
32:20There's something so great about the wide-legged trouser and all that tulle.
32:25Turn to the side, please.
32:27That kills moi, darling. It kills moi.
32:31The hem on the pant is a little short for me.
32:34Yeah.
32:35When something's that full on the bottom, I never want to see a shoe.
32:38But otherwise, so, so beautiful, Dimitri. Thank you.
32:40Thank you, guys.
32:41Cynthia.
32:42I decided to work with my dress as a giant corset. I thought about the dress as really close to the body and I decided to keep the silhouette simple just to really emphasize the natural beauty.
32:58This is one of those dresses that are pretty to a fault. Please turn around. I like the back. I like the idea that someone did a little bit of lacing.
33:09I think she looks like she's going to a christening or a coronation and I don't see a corset with the exception of the back lacing.
33:17For me, this dress is predictable. I really don't like the headpiece. I feel like it's distracting.
33:23I was comparing my work with the other designs in the room and I thought that maybe it was too simple for the runway, so I decided just to add something more.
33:31Don't second-guess yourself because that's really where you went wrong.
33:35Okay, thank you.
33:37So, Django, this is your first time in front of the judges. Are you nervous?
33:41Oh, yeah.
33:42So, tell us about your corset look.
33:45I wanted to play with this idea of like harsh lines in contrast with organic shapes, so this is really me, what you see today.
33:56I'm not exactly certain what the print is doing on the organza.
34:00It looks very messy to me. Maybe it's just too many concepts competing with one another and to us, we just don't get it.
34:08I think you just are so confused when you see this look that you lose the beauty in the corset, which you did a great job. It is a beautiful corset.
34:17I don't love the sheen on the fabric and the pant, but I think you did a really good job.
34:22Well, thank you all for judging me.
34:25Irina, it's time for your critique.
34:27Well, first of all, when I think of corsets, I think of curves and I got this idea to do a jacket that almost resembles an outglass to give her like a little more hip.
34:37And then I did this sort of treatment to really kind of give a nod to the detail and the artistry of classical corsets.
34:45I think the fact that you took a corset, you turned it into a jacket, I think is really creative and I love that about it.
34:51I think she looks like a, in a good way, like a fashion armadillo.
34:55Okay.
34:56I don't like the mask, I don't get it at all because it just takes away from the garment and I think the pants do as well.
35:03But overall, I think it's beautiful.
35:05Yours was the most interesting take on a corset.
35:07I love that she has hips, you know, I'm mad about that.
35:11I think here you've really appreciated a woman in a very feminine way without taking her that one step too far.
35:17Mm-hmm.
35:18Thank you, Irina, and thank you to all the designers.
35:21You've given us a lot to talk about, so you can take a breather in the backstage lounge.
35:26Hey guys.
35:27Hi.
35:28We were like trying to guess and we're like, mmm.
35:38They hate the hat that I just at the last minute.
35:43So you were in the bottom?
35:44Yeah, for sure.
35:45That surprises me.
35:46Yeah.
35:47Who else?
35:48They didn't like mine.
35:49Okay.
35:50They didn't like my fabric.
35:51Maybe today's not my best day.
35:53I think the best thing was like when it came out, they're like, it looks expensive and all of them said that and I was like, okay, that's good.
35:58And you're like, yes, if I win, it's $10,000.
36:01Let's talk about the looks that we really liked.
36:04Let's start with Christina.
36:06I loved Christina's look.
36:07It was all about the color to me.
36:09It gave it a cleanliness and a modernity.
36:12I liked the skirt a lot.
36:14I thought that gave it a fresh perspective.
36:17I think what made this dress special was the latticework.
36:21Otherwise, I think it's all concepts we've seen before.
36:24But all together, there was a lot of creativity.
36:29Let's talk about arena.
36:30I thought there was something very sexy and mysterious about this look.
36:34The detail was really, really beautiful.
36:36I love the colors too.
36:37The way she treated the woman's body, I think, was really wonderful.
36:40However, I just can't look at that length one more time from her.
36:44I've seen it every single week and that's where I'm suddenly like, that's limiting me.
36:49Let's talk about Dimitri too.
36:53I love Dimitri's.
36:55I just thought it was fresh.
36:56It was new.
36:57It looked different.
36:58It didn't look dated.
36:59I cannot get over how beautiful his pants were.
37:02And I also love the sleeve.
37:03I love that detail.
37:04I really think that he went a little overboard with the tassels.
37:07Right.
37:08But then, the more I looked at it, I thought, like, more.
37:11You know, just go big with that.
37:14I feel like you can tell the emotion that Dimitri puts into it.
37:18A garment.
37:19On the flip side of that, I'd like to talk about Cynthia's garment.
37:23Because I felt like that was void of any emotion.
37:26It was just so ordinary.
37:28And then the lacing on the back, it was so haphazard.
37:31What was with the headpiece?
37:33That just didn't go with anything anybody should ever wear.
37:36It was like, oh, don't look at the dress.
37:37Look at the hat.
37:38Yeah, right.
37:39Let's talk about Jasper.
37:44Oh, my gosh.
37:45This looks like a doll that you see in an antique store.
37:48It's scary.
37:49Where the corset ends is just like the worst place to end a corset ever.
37:53The overlay placement in general was so odd.
37:56It made the craziest shape on her torso.
37:59I didn't understand it at all.
38:00There was nothing flattering about that.
38:02Yeah, nothing.
38:03Nothing.
38:04Let's talk about Django.
38:06I just felt like he just kept throwing ideas onto a model.
38:10If you're an all-star, I think you have to know when to stop.
38:12I think we have to give some props to Django for at least putting something out here that
38:16was a fresh perspective.
38:17Yeah.
38:18I would want to see this collection.
38:19There's a lot of creativity here.
38:23So we've made our decision.
38:25Okay.
38:26Let's bring them back out.
38:27Designers, one of your looks has won the designer $10,000.
38:37And another look will be sending its designer home tonight.
38:40Rina, Dimitri, Christina.
38:52One of you is the winner of this week's challenge.
38:56The winning designer is...
39:01Christina.
39:06Woo!
39:10Congratulations, Christina.
39:12$10,000 is yours.
39:15And a version of your design will be available at AdoreMe.com.
39:19Yay.
39:21Dimitri and Rina, great work from both of you.
39:24All three of you are through to next week.
39:27You can leave the runway.
39:29One of the internationals has won now.
39:31I get $10,000 and my dress gets translated into something at AdoreMe.com.
39:39Do you win?
39:40Yay!
39:42And I'm really excited to see what it's going to look like.
39:45$10,000!
39:50Django, you had a low score.
39:53But your design has kept you in the competition.
39:57You can leave the runway.
39:59Cynthia and Jasper.
40:05You had the lowest scores of the week and one of you will be eliminated.
40:11The eliminated designer is...
40:22Jasper.
40:24That means, Cynthia, we will see you next week.
40:26You can leave the runway.
40:30Jasper, you will always be a Project Runway winner.
40:33But now it's time to leave the runway.
40:35Thank you, Jasper.
40:37Good luck.
40:38Bye.
40:39Good luck, Jasper.
40:43That was the first time I've done a stretch corset.
40:46So it was quite difficult and challenging.
40:52Jasper.
40:53Hi.
40:54Congratulations.
40:55And double.
40:56Unfortunately, I didn't perform in this specific challenge, so it's sad to go.
41:02You gotta win it for Canada, okay?
41:03When I go back to London, I have London Passion Week to attend to and look after the business and show my collection.
41:12Work hard.
41:14Okay?
41:15I'll see you later.
41:16Bye.
41:18With this challenge, it just wasn't my day.
41:20But I'm gonna remember this experience really fondly.
41:27Next on Project Runway All-Star.
41:30For your challenge, we're sending you to Turtle Back Zoo.
41:34For your inspiration, you will each track down a wild animal.
41:39The shape on top to me just looks like a gimmick.
41:42Okay.
41:43Django gets caught up in his critiques and he gets insecure.
41:46you, Anne.
41:47Michelle's dress looks like Demetrius.
41:49I'm glad Michelle is inspired.
41:51You have something to say to me.
41:52Wouldn't you say it to my face?
41:57This is a really beautiful piece.
41:59I took that dress for your dress.
42:12and now he's in.
42:13The possible way of walking.
42:14Like this one is slowly souter.
42:15In my heart, you think that there's sogание or a Henry accounts where you don't see who wants.
42:16And that eating is never too thin and hot!
42:17To go forward with this art.
42:19And look again!
42:20Now, I know you can give a card acceptance!
42:22Oh totally!
42:23To go forward and see the cards.
42:25Well, all just soap!
42:27I will be the badass and like a gost.
42:29I will be the best.
42:31It will be the best to Masters I знz.
42:33Again, you may be the best to have $000.
42:36And if you can do the best,ела that you can learn.
42:37Right?
42:38Build to do whatever kind to not make your dice.
