As part of the Tobago House of Assembly's Public Service Week 2025 celebrations, the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service – Tobago Division welcomed aspiring youths for an educational Ride-Along as they carried out their duties. More from Elizabeth Williams.

00:00Under the supervision of Inspector Alicia Pickett, these enthusiastic teens got a first-hand look into the daily operations of law enforcement.
00:10Hosted at the Scarborough Police Station, participants were given a rare opportunity to patrol alongside units from the Traffic Department, Community Police, Criminal Investigations Department, Criminal Records, Office and Scarborough Police Station charge room.
00:26The ride-along was designed to build trust, promote transparency and strengthen relationships between youth and law enforcement.
00:37It allowed participants to witness the responsibilities, challenges and commitment of the officers who serve and protect communities every day.
00:46The Tobago Division states it remains committed to making community engagement a top priority.
